Silent Hill

Any fans? I love that game, and 5 is looking amazing despite the new development team. Whats really cool is the use of sunlight. Silent hill has always had 90% of its scares in the dark, i would like to see how they impliment that.

Big fan of the series, 2 is my absolute favorite out of all of them so far. Yes, 5 is lookin' pretty sweet, I hope they put it out on Wii so that I won't have to drop the cash for a PS3.

It's commin out on the 360 too, so you can drop a lesser amount of cash if you really wanted too.

Silent Hill is fantastic, I love the series, 2 is the best and one of the most scary games I've ever played.

4 wasn't very good, which lowers my expectations of 5.

heh, i just finished the first game (psxemu ftw), I didnt think it was all that scary tbh, there were some disturbing things (the hanging bodies with the door on the center >_<) and you'll be scared when you start cuz you know nothing of the game, but as you play you notice that


While creepy music's playing, very very rarely something will happen, so feel safe when the creepy music's playing


and that kinda ruins the suspense. I also didnt find the so dreaded psicological horror of the game, the music trick only works on the first parts of the game, theres near no "jumping out of nowere to scare you" action and i dont see how anything... evil or whatever that might mess with your mind... script aside

Nonetheless its a good game, and i just read that there are several endings and i got the bad one, thank god, i couldnt believe that crappy ending, im going to reply it now xD

Now i just need to wait for a PS2 emulator to play SH2, lol

still playing origins as a matter of fact. i don't have a ps2, nor do i have a next-gen system so i don't think i'll be able to play the new one when it comes out, or the old ones for that matter.

but based off of psp version silent hill is pretty good.
