i was under the impression that PBR was one of those games that had huge hype, and then wound up being crap when released. then again, that was based on official reviews.....never really got around to playing though. i guess i could download it, but i don't have pokemon diamond/pearl to sync up with it.

it is really good, the pokemon you get arnt that good but you dont need diamond/pearl to have fun with it, it is an extra, and thats why im lending my mates as i traded it in but iv enjoyed myself with the graphics and gameplay and online.
But as for a socre id say 8/10 as i have a load of pokemon on pokemonBOX on the gamecube and you cant transfer those over which is a big shame

PBR is an acronym for Pabst's Blue Ribbon beer and Professional Bull Riding as well, maybe an acronym that isn't widely known in a title isn't a good idea.
New Pokemon game? I must check this out.

well new as in new to the UK. been in the states for a while though. pretty sure more people are playing mario strikers charged or guitar hero 3 online on wii more than PBR...no offense.

Ah Pokemon...back in the day when I was unbeatable...now it's gotten really complicated with EV's and Poke-virus...I watch my sister play it every now and then and she crushes everyone she plays. She's got some sick strats with her Rampardos and Ninjask. Plus her strat where her lvl 5 Rattata can kill any Pokemon, even lvl 100. It's rediculous. (Some item that stops it from dying from a one-hit-KO move or a move that would kill it in one hit, use Endeavor, and then Quick Attack next turn.)

personally i just got tired of the level-grinding. it was enjoyable back in the day of red/blue, gold/silver. after that it just got old....

plus all that crap you just mentioned, it totally ruined the game experience from what was SUPPOSED to be a simple game.
