Appearance: (Getting a scanner installed tomorrow, I may doodle something tonight and post it.)
Messy, black hair, about 6ft tall. Has glasses, and has two different colored eyes (heterochromania). Has girly features to him.
Personality: A kind, gentle person. Dislikes to fight, but has a breaking point which is dangerous to see, and will fight Akuma willingly. A very sleepy person, who you will tend to find sleeping anyways in his free time, he always carries his book, which is unnamed. (Will explain further later.) Tends to think with his head and not his heart, though there are exceptions. Not a good socialite, and is even worse around females.
Biography: Saya grew up in a poor town, but was fascinated with books. He would always read them in his free time, and fall asleep on them as well. Although poor, his family was happy.
At the age of 12, his town was attacked by a large group of Akuma. Being an only child, his mother hid Saya in the house's basement, sacrificing herself to the Akuma to save Saya. Saya had peeked through the floorboards to see his mother murdered by an Akuma, her blood spilling on the floor and dripping onto his face.
Knowing not what to do, Saya stayed in the house for days, living off of what food was left. He dared not leave the house for ffear of the Akuma. But, while in the basment, Saya found a book. Hardcover and having no title, Saya opened it. No text, no pictures, nothing. Empty. But it almost glowed, saying, "I am yours."
Holding onto the book, Saya peeked out of his house once, seeing many men in black clothes going through the town. He found out they were a group of the Black Order. They took him in, thinking he could be at least fed and found a new home. Saya went with them.
While staying with the Black Order, he would still not let the book go. The story will start here for Saya....

Innocence: Equipment. Saya's Book. He has the power to form things out of the paper in the book, being a weapon, a shield, or even a pillow. Never as powerful as a full-fledged sword, but it does cut like one. It tends to have a mind of it's own, and communicates with Saya through writing to him in the Book.
