So back in October it was announced by Capcom and Sony Pictures that they would go into production of a full length CGI Resident Evil movie. Well the trailer is out and it is AWESOME!!! Leon and Claire are definitely in the movie. Beautiful CGI effects..Check it out!

No as far as I know this has nothing to do with the live action one. Rather, it is going by the game canon. No Alice no problems XD

Yep, which is good as the live action movies just keep getting worse ><;;

Nice. I only liked the movies for the little game references they did here and there. It made watching them and trying to pick out the little things exciting.
This looks badass, might explain what everyone's been up to between RE3 and RE4.
I do hope the other characters make some kind of appearance.

I was thinking more along the lines of this setting us up for the events of RE5. With Chris being the main character....

But I think it probably will set up the story for RE5 since it takes place before 4, but after 3. So it could do both: Set the stage for 5, and explain what some of the characters have been up to.
Ya know haven't seen Jill since she got infected and then 'cured' and fled Racoon City.
Indeed. We haven't seen her, I hope she will make an appearance in this too. The only thing that bothers me about it being the a set up for 5 is the new newest trailer for 5 (dunno if you could call it new about 5 months old at this stage XD) showed Chris in Africa....although it might help in explaining it all...Although, it's probably due to the fact the Umbrella has secret labs in Africa or something like that XD.
I hope the movie might explain some more about Wesker, Ada and their crew....what exactly they have been up to etc....iono I ask for too much XD

Yes they did :D watch the trailer. It looks awesome. It seems it'll be Leon and Claire as the main characters, but it'll remain to be seen...

Leon was a badass in the RE4 game, if he keeps his wits from the 4th real RE game, then it will be interesting. I want to see Jill Valentine as well, she is my favorite female character in all of RE. :)

Tbh, once Leon was there, there was no point makin the film, hes so badass theres no way he not gawn kick those zombies asses back to the grave.

Leon= Awsomest Resident Evil Character ever, if they kill him off i will be sooo pissed.
Claire=She's back, but i dont really care,
looks like we find out that the T-virus broke out again, or maybe a new virus, man those cops S U C K!! dumbasses try shooting the zombie in the head before it goes to bite you! Looks like a shark or a giant lizard. Looks like the T-Virus spread because some guy managed to survive the intial breakout but was still infected and got on a plane to escape.
Leon kicks Zombies asses, Leon takes a vacation, Leon Fights some psuedo-zombies AKA Parasites, Then Leon fights Zombies again...all in a couple of years work.
