Which version of bleach do you like better?
The subbed version with japanese voices or the dubbed version with english voices?
For me its gotta be the sub version :biggrinlo
I mean nothing against the dubbers but they kinda suck by changing words like shinigami to soul reaper :sad and zanpakto to soul slayer:sad
Sub FTW:redbiggri

I prefer Subs to Dubs, easily.

Infact, i cant see why they cant hire voice actors that are actually GOOD for the Dubs? Anybody know why?

There are certain decent subs out there but Bleach isnt one of them. Started out good but some of the Gotei voices irk me.

Ichigo and Rukia sound off.

That's all I needed to know the Bleach dub is bad.

Some of the dubs are very, very good stuff.

Just not this one.

I'm pretty sure there are several similar threads...

I watch both, although I enjoy the subs (Japanese voice) far more than I enjoy the English dubs. I just like the seiyuu's emotions in Japanese more.

I find the Japanese language to sound much more awesome than our English language.

Besides, English actors sound cheesy.

Are they the same people that said [AS] only bought 17 episodes of Death Note? If so I wouldn't count on it.

Subs by far. In the beginning, I didn't have a preference since Ichigo + Rukia + Ichigo's voices all were fine, but just about every one else sounds weird. It also sounds weird when Japanese names are pronounced with a completely different accent.

I preferred the Subs, until it got to the group of people not to be mentioned ever again on this program... er forum arc >_>

No, it won't.

Watching the subs before the dub makes it hard to enjoy the dub. You'll rarely find better voice acting in the dub, but you'll be deceived often because you've been used to some voices that change too much in the dub.

But I have to say I actually like the dub.

Subbed versions are better.

I disagree with the way most of the bleach voices sound in the dubbed versions, I think they clash with the persanalities of the characters. Especially Hitsugaya's voice, everytime I hear it I want to just scream.

Hitsugaya's voice in the dub is indeed horrible. It seriously scared me the first time I heard it...

Dubs shouldn't even be an option - Subs all the way.

First off: In the subs, the lips actually sync with the voices, the voices are much more dramatic, and it's Japanese. Japanese = coolest language ever.

Secondly: The American voice actors need to either get a better job, or practice speaking with emotion. 90% of them lack any and all emotion in their voices. The ONLY two American voice actors for anime that I like are the guys that do Spike and Jet's voice on Cowboy Bebop.

Thirdly: When it comes to voice acting matching personalities, the Japanese voices sound much better than the American voices. Example: Uryuu in American made me wanna cry. Yoruichi in English...no longer a sexy character. Chad without his deep voice completely destroys his image.

I wont even start on Toshirou...

I agree. The reason that they produce dubs is to increase the show's popularity in english-speaking countries, but does anybody actually prefer the dub? I can't think of very many who would rather have the anime shown in english over japanese with subs. If they showed subtitled versions, Not only would the show most likely get better ratings, the fanbase would probably increase.

Not only that, but the things that are funny about the japanese version, (such as literary puns) are completely butchered in the dub. They try to be funny and add them in, but it doesn't make sense if it's not in japanese. Instead, all you get is a crappy awkward joke.
