Kaze's Room

On the 6th floor, the second door to the left never fails to attract a curious look. Highly polished, the brown and silver oak door catches the attention of anyone who passes by. Runes and drawings were etched along the sides of the door, and amazingly, there was not a handle in sight.

Behind the rich door is a large furnished room. His room is probably one of the most richly decorated, seeing he has been here for over 14 years aready, and had lots of time to decorate his room.

A bookshelf stocked with books and scrolls stood on the left, while a neatly-kept closet is located on the right. At a corner Kaze's water bed could be seen, and right in the center of the room is a huge glass table with 2 leather armchair and a sofa. Best of all, the entire floor was covered by a thick expensive carpet (Kaze had brought it back from a mission several years ago claiming it was a gift, although many suspected that he stole it).

The door opened, and Kaze strode into the room. Leaving the door open in case someone wants to see him, he collasped into his favourite chair and poured himself a glass of water.

"Damn, I arrived too late," he sighed as he drained his glass of water. Resting the glass back onto the table, he stared into the ceiling, lost in thought.

((many months later))

Stepping through the door as though it wasnt there, Kaze and Takai strode into the room and survevyed the room. Kaze sat down on the sofa and poured himself a glass of wine, while Takai examined the decorations.

"Long time since we've returned mmm?" Takai remarked casually.

"Yea, the last time i was here i was still a little kid, not to mention a noob," Kaze smiled as he swirled his glass.

"I heard you got your Level 3 innocence aready?"

"Yea, and im commander rank too-" a grin spread across kaze's face. "which means i can order you around now."

"Hahaa, i dare you to try. Congratulations though."

"Thanks. You're almost a commander too arent you?"

"Soon."

Takai left in HQ, while Kaze was out on the Stockholm mission

Takai blinked and sat there, frozen in shock. He couldnt believe it. Kaze, his younger brother, the only family membe he left, dead? The whole room around him seemed to fall away, and his ears filled with blood. The Finder in front of him continued speaking, but Takai could barely hear him.

"-very sorry about the news, but by the reports he ran into a Noah who called himself Dies, and he self-destructed the same time he was cut apart-"

Details details. They dont matter at all. Not now. He faintly remembered the conversation he had with Kaze weeks earlier, about how happy Kaze was when he got his level 3 innocence. They spoke about Kaze's abilities too. About how he was able to shift into different realms, and... his self-destruct ability, the God's Vengence.

It was that moment Takai realised how much he hated that ability. But he couldnt do anything. Just sit there in sorrowful despair.

Suddently he got up. He would go to see if there's anyway to salvage Kaze. He remembered somewhere that in the Asia HQ they had a guardian kept in raw energy form. Maybe he could resurrect Kaze or something.

He walked past the Finder without a thought. He wouldnt care about anything anymore. He'll find Komui and ask him if there's any way to get Kaze back. Or he'll go and do some research. Or he would just go to Stockholm himself. Or maybe....

He doesnt care.
