Okay, Before Things go in massive direction.
I am doing a debate in class about The Subject... and this debate here will let me see what i might be agaisnt...

Simple Opinion: I think Human Society has a Falsified Imagary, People are Phony and Their values arent considered for others.

This is Majority of People. I did not use All People/Humans.
Anyone got ideas? Agreements? Disagreements? =)

Hmm, I like your topic. Umm, trying to fund something to go against... Um... Well, what right do you have to say that people are phony? What if they just act that way? What do you mean by values not considered for others?

Iunno, it's really hard to debate against something I agree with :P

If you Agree with it, then tell me what you agree with... cause there is alot of in dept...

well anyway.. people are phony.. i mean comon, a person gets up in the morning to comb their hair and fix themselves up... to impress who? the outside world? who see them on the sidewalk walking down? ehh? random people make no difference. The Idea of molding yourself is phony. if your gonna be who you say you are.. than show a potential value to it? no?

Hmm.. i think that human society does have a falsified image, human's see themselves as being civilised yet, there are many people killing each other. <-- ithink that is a falsified image. Hmm.. people are phoney and their values are not considered, i think this would aplly to a minority rather than a majority of people. Although i dont fully understand "Their values arent considered for others".
Edit: By this whole thing do you mean that people should just be themselves im a little lost =s, i think i misinterpreted it

I believe something close to this, but I did a lot psychological background. So from that point you can defend the illusionary world as well...
So after I made a bit confusion with that on people in my direct surroundings, I decided to quit the subject and just let them be deluded for as long as they like. This delusion goes pretty far... And it's impossible to be immune to it, best thing is shut up about and don't think about it, because if you do this topic too deep, you'll find some rather disturbing things in Human psychology......

"Values arent considered for others" - In means of... they are either selfish, possessive, one-side minded... or other means that doesnt make them 'care' much about another human's >Feelings, Life, Safety, Situation, etc<

its true, people dont value others, which is why we have wars, and racism, but it is kind of a crappy topic. You can go anywhere with this, from talking about marxism, to the church. this debate will go way to hard on the tangent.

Not to mention, as Dragonlink said, "who gives a ****" its human nature, and as roy mcnamara said Human naturer never changes

I hate society!!! I just hate it!!!

In my country.... we teenagers judge eachother by cellphones.... clothes and hairdoo.... aint that stupid.... If you dont have Nike.... Adidas or other crappy marks you are considered an OUTCAST a Neanderthalian between Homo Sapiens..... they look at you weird..... they make fun of you..... but heck..... but yourself a nice cellphone and some designer clothes and u will have *****es all around you!!!

I hate society!!! I dont want to be a part of it!!!

Ppl this days are so.... so ..... wuts the word...... shallow!!! I hate them!!!!

Society can be phony, fake, a lie. We care for others, provide for others, say we love them, we care. Some of the time we are serious about that to. But in the end, for most everyone (probably including myself), when it all comes down to it, its all about self.

For instance, you dont harm someone because YOU beleive its wrong, you worship Jesus because YOU beleive he is the masiah, You run from something because YOU beleive it may hurt you or do somthing YOU dont like. Although you may care for that person, you buy them that ring because YOU want them to see how much you love them.

You may care for it, them, him/her, but in the end, with all those morals and values you have, its all about YOU and what you think is right or make you comfortable.

EDIT: .... we teenagers judge eachother by cellphones.... clothes and hairdoo....

We all judge someone on something.

I've learned that all this is really quite simple. If you look into to it we are society. When we are phony it is only to ourselfs. We are all our own society. Do

Do we protect others so that they won't disspear? Or is it that we dont what to see them suffer? Either way there is a bit of selflishness in them. When we protect some one do we do it soley for their benifet or because we want to feel good, to help ourseves to feeling, so that we won't feel alone. I personally think that it is a mix and that therein lies the secert of society.
