West Gate: Asian HQ Arc
----------------------------------------

"Calling all Exorcists! Calling all Exorcists! This is Chief Officer Bak Chan! The Noah and the Akuma have arrived near the HQ! I repeat! The Noah and Akuma have arrived near the HQ!! Everyone, go into your battle stations and prepare to defend the HQ at all costs!!" The sirens were going off throughout the whole Asian HQ as Bak Chan spoke over the speaking, reaching all the Exorcists inside.

The Exorcists who barely managed to arrive in the HQ from the North and South Routes quickly ran to their positions and waited for the enemy to draw closer to the HQ. A huge war between the Earl and the Exorcists was about to take place, here at the Asia HQ...

________________

Rules:

The structure of the HQ is as follows: the entire harbor is enclosed in a semi-circular wall ten feet thick at any place. There are three gates at the moment, the West gate and the East gate, accessible only via the respective routes.

Each Exorcist/Noah group that arrives immediately splits into two groups: the Noah are assaulting the wall while the Exorcists are defending it from the inside. While the Noah are forbidden from moving from one gate to the other, they may summon up to 5 level 1, 3 level 2's and 1 level 3 to attack the other gate (regardless of whether the other group is there yet).

The Exorcists must defend the gates until the other group arrives, after which both groups must keep the Noah at bay for 50 posts (by the Exorcists).

Attacking the wall is forbidden, as it is defended by special anti-Akuma charms. And Noah can only enter the city through the gates. However, Exorcists must defeat each Akuma group.

10 posts after the first group arrives, if the Noah haven't breached yet, Miranda Lotto will arrive, providing back up to the group and also causing the Exorcists to return to 100% health after every post (thanks to Miranda's time recovery).

If the Noah breach, one post is added to the remaining count of posts until the Noah must pull back.

NOTE: Exorcists/Akuma are able to post in either West or East, and can switch from either one as long as it is RPed.

Approaching the harbor's west gate, Nero has a moment of telepathy with the Earl.

Earl, send my sword.

Oh? You need that already <3 ?

What would you have me do should they get near me.

You have that pet you could use correct?

Do not be foolish, the shrewd hawk hides its talons.

Very well, soon enough you shall once again have it in your possession ~ <3

With that, Nero looks at the gate, as several positioned men begin to approach him to question his business. Spreading his arms, Nero uses his technique.

"Twilight of the Apocalypse, Second night, Withering fields of Lotus blossums." The ground up to the wall and gate suddenly sprouted thousands of blue lotus flowers, causing the men to pause in their advance. Looking around, they take a tentative step back away from the man they know is not normal at this point.

Disturbing the blossums, the spores are released. The men can not help but inhale these spores, and the hallucinogen takes the effect. They begin to stagger, looking around for the gate back, looking around for the attacker. As they see each other, nobody but them knows what it is they see, though in their fear and hallucinations they attack.

One man clumsily pulls a dagger and stumbles forward, one pulls a firearm which discharges into the ground (first sign something is wrong outside). As the two men destroy each other, they become corpes, which are then animated by Nero as his servant undead. These undead are then sent into the town to bolster their numbers, and create havoc to possibly delay any other approaching Exorcists.

________________ Town__________________

The two Dead enter the town at surprising speeds, and begin rending and tearing at the living they encounter, each body becoming another Dead. This is happening in the residential district, on the way to the market district. Within minutes there are dozens of undead streaming throughout the area, going about their ghastly business.

_______________The West Gate_______________

Constantine steps beside Nero, knocking bits of spores into the air with each step. Looking down with a hint of worry, Nero reassures him that the hallucinogen will have no effect on the immortal body of a Noah. Leiko seems to disapprove of the tactics, and lurks in the background, perhaps thinking of her own methods of dealing with the impending exorcists.

The stage is set, the Exorcist will come or the gate will be destroyed.

((Any Exorcist exiting this gate will have 2 turns of hallucinogenic behavior, it makes doing things harder but not impossible. wanted to get things started, rawr.))

Constantine

After the two men mutilated each other, I stepped over the corps and headed over to the battles field where Exorcists were frantically defending themselves from the onslaught of the Akuma in the area.

"It's good to get away from everyone else for a little bit, right Nero?" I said to him while I was placing my top hat on my head. "Shall we make our grand entrance to the rest of those Exorcists my fine fellow brother? Aheheh..."

The large cave-like headquarters was right in front of us when a couple more Exorcists, stepped forth, blocking our view of the battlefield. Laughter rose from myself as well as the breaking sounds of swords and weapons clashing in the background.

"We have no room for little a little girl and boy, so why don't you two be good Exorcists and run off now...aheheh..."

As if in response, a massive amount of high pitch sounds from the right going through my whole body feeling as if my head was filled with sirens. Acting calm in the midst of battle, I looked up at the two of them, flicked my fingers and sent them to the ground with a large flare of gamma rays.

"Tch... let's get going, Nero."

Moments later another pair of Exorcists came running towards us, they were somehow able to get through the chaos of the battle between us and HQ, which only meant that they had exceptional skill. As I glared at the newcomers, their appearance seemed all to nostalgic as I recognized both of them...

((If a couple Exorcists want to fight me together, I left it open to battle.))

Hei

Heading out of the Market district, Hei notices the Dead streaming through the residential district. Releasing his Innocence, Hei torches several that get near him. However there appear to be too many to waste time dealing with them.

I've seen these on numerous occasions, it seems the Noah of Sadism has joined their ranks.

Great, they needed the help.

This is likely meant as a distraction and to bolster the forces, I suggest proceeding to the HQ without wasting your powers.

"Tch." Hei sprints towards the west gate of the HQ with only a moments hesitation.

Drawing near, it is clear what is happening. Akuma are floating around, and there were also three Noah near the West gate. Hei was able to recognize Constantine, and Leiko whom he had not seen in awhile. The third one was unknown.

That third one is Nero. Do not touch the flowers, they have mind altering spores.

I can't really burn them either, then nobody would be able to get out at all. I'd rather not face the three of them by myself.

That woman is secluded, perhaps you could occupy her?

Perhaps my luck with women will change hm?

It is doubtful.

I suppose she will try to kill me after all.

Hiding from the nearby Akuma, Hei readies his bow from close to 100 meters away from Leiko. Steadying his aim, he releases the arrow.

Streaking through the air, the arrow closes on the unsuspecting Leiko. A level 2 steps in front of the arrow for a bit of wondrous timing to inform Leiko of who knows what, and takes the arrow through the rear of its misshapen skull, so the arrow protrudes through the equally misshapen forehead pointing at Leiko.

You know, I should have known that would happen.

Seems your luck with women is not improving, you can't even catch them off guard now

Oh, now you have a sense of humor? Evicted. Get out.

Stop being foolish, I do believe she has noticed you.

Like there's any possible means that she wouldn't! Thats it, after I deal with her you're next.

It is unhealthy to pick fights with that which is also part of yourself. Plus, she could be the victor.

I can't take this anymore.

A bit enraged, Hei releases his Innocence to the third level and begins to build the necessary power to utilize a technique of his choosing. Leiko also seemed quite pissed. Things were looking up.

Midare

In front of her, she could see how that level 2 vanished in the air, Leiko was expressionless while seeing how that arrow that just killed the akuma fell to the ground and then vanished as well.

"I knew I was feeling something near but I've never thought this exorcist would be so stupid to attack me and plus, trying to get me off guard"

She didn't cared about Constantine or Nero anymore or what they were doing. She grinned, she won't mind, not now that she has a new prey.

She didn't moved, and nothing was coming from the shadows "Stupid enough to attack me and coward enough to hide... this is going to be boring"

Leiko took a step forward. "You there, come out!" she called out loud but nothing happened.

"I said come out!!!"

Nothing but silence, and that made Leiko quiet enraged.

"It seems that I'll have to go first..." She raised her hands "... Seishi Bosatsu".

Thousand of tiny spider were shoot from her hand towards the sky turning into countless sharp needles, aiming to fall near the presence of the exorcist.
Once the needles reach their destination, she could heard ion the distance the metalic sound of the needles dropping to the ground and finally she could notice at least the silhouette of the exorcist who jumped away dodging Leiko's attack.

"Oi! is no use to hide now, show me your face exorcist".

The exorcist stood from the stance in which he landed, and turned back at the Noah, finally walking out of the shadows.

"Hey, is been a while, madam"

Leiko glared at him. "Who is this one... I'm sure I've seen him before"

After some seconds, Leiko's expression changed to one on pure rage, and then, she regained he composure a little.

"Oh I remember you, exorcist scum, the one who messed my mission on the Netherlands".

"And here I've thought you had forgot about me", Hei said grinning.

"Fudo Myouou" with these words, she got in her hand her two kodachi."No way I'll forget about you... not until I kill you"

TAkeshi and Kimiko - Moving towards the West Gate

"This way!"

Takeshi and Kimiko followed the finder who was given the task to take them to the West Gate. Moving through people and buildings, they could now see the gate.

"Are you feeling well, Take?" Kimiko asked Takeshi. Takeshi simply looked at her and replied, "Why wouldn't I?"

"Well, you hardly got any rest after the battle with mother, and now we're running towards a harder fight. Shouldn't you rest a while?"

"I'm alright. Even though Aunt Mei is quite talented and strong, she didn't tire me much. We weren't using our full strength anyway."

Kimiko was surprised by Takeshi's response. Neither of them talked after the battle, as the noah and akuma started their attack and Takeshi and Kimiko were forced to leave, so she didn't know how Takeshi realized Aunt Mei wasn't using her full strength...

***Flashback***
"Kimiko-chan!" said a woman dressed in a long white coat who came running towards them, embracing Kimiko in a warm hug. She was followed by a man, with drak brown hair, also dressed in a white coat.

"Oh, how I missed you," said the woman, looking at Kimiko's face. Kimiko smiled at the woman, and then gave a hug to the man, who replied with one of his own.

Takeshi simply looked at them, wondering who they were. It wasn't long since they've arrived, and the soldier who was there to meet them immediatly took them to the science deparment. There they meet these two people whom Kimiko seemed to know.

"Mother, Father, I have come back. And I've brought someone I know you'd like to meet," and moving aside, she indicated Takeshi, "I introduce you Takeshi, my brother. Take, they are my parents and our biological Aunt and Uncle."

Takeshi bowed to them and greeted them. Then his aunt took a step forward and raised his head, and give him a hug. "You're so alike your father when he was your age. It's so good to have finally meet you, Takeshi-kun."

After greeting his uncle, Takeshi was took inside the science department, along with Kimiko. There he find out that they helped made Kimiko's White Tiger, by putting the innocence Kimiko was given into a naginatada they brought from Japan.

"Takeshi," Uncle Minh said, "can I see your anti-akuma weapon?"

"Sure." Takeshi took Tenchuu out of his belt and gave it to him. He grabbed with his hand, and as he drew Aunt Mei commented, "Tenchuu... I remember thee. And the day my father gave it to Auron on the day of his 15th Birthday. It is our family heirloom, and best katana. And now it has become an anti-akuma weapon. There isn't a better weapon for such role."

"And it was well converted into an anti-akuma weapon. Who did this?" asked Uncle Minh.

"An exorcist who saved me from a group of level 2 akumas. In that time I didn't Innocence with me, and I would have been killed if it wasn't for him. He had an Innocence shard that happened to be compatible with me. Then he took Tenchuu and formed Tenshou Kyuutouryuu," responded Takeshi as he took Tenchuu back from his uncle. From the corner of his eye he saw Aunty Mai grab a naginata from the wall.

"Come Takeshi, I'd like to how strong you are."

Takeshi and Kimiko followed her to the training grounds. Kimiko stood aside, while Takeshi faced Aunt Mai.

Aunt Mai started walking towards Takeshi, increasing her speed with every step. When he was within range, Aunt Mai swung the naginata from the left. Takeshi easily jumped over, and drew Tenchuu as he aimed for his aunt's head.

"Oh, a mid-air Battoujutsu" said Aunt Mei as she blocked it with the back of her naginata. Then took a step back, and holding the naginata with her left hand, and supporting the blade with her right, she jumped. "Ryushosen!"

What?! Takeshi thought as he grabbed his scabbard with his left hand, and along with Tenchu, blocked the rising naginata. But as Aunt Mai gave him so little time, Takeshi was unable to put much strength on blocking, and was sent back wards.

She's no normal woman. Just as my mother said, the women from the Himura Clan were all strong.

Just as Takeshi landed on the floor, Aunt Mai approached him, starting a complex series of attacks. This time Takeshi was ready for her. He blocked all of her attackes with ease, and he retreated backwards.

Then Aunt Mai attempted to stab Takeshi. Takeshi counter-attacked with Ryukansen, spinning around Mai's attack, and driving Tenchuu towards Mai's neck.

He stopped at the last second, and touched softly her neck with Tenchuu, ending the fight. If he would have wanted, he could have beheaded her without much problem.

"You're really strong, stronger than your father ever was." Aunt Mai congratulated Takeshi as she put the naginata away. Takeshi stared asking how she knew the Ryushosen, but was stopped by a suddent announcement.

"Calling all Exorcists! Calling all Exorcists! This is Chief Officer Bak Chan! The Noah and the Akuma have arrived near the HQ! I repeat! The Noah and Akuma have arrived near the HQ!! Everyone, go into your battle stations and prepare to defend the HQ at all costs!!"

"Takeshi! We must go to the west gate!" Kimiko shouted at Takeshi. Takeshi bowed to his aunty and followed Kimiko.

***Flashback Ends***

Arriving at the West gate, Takeshi asked a finder what was the situation.

"There are two noahs outside, sir."

"Two noahs...this is troublesome." Takeshi said.

"They are just standing there, though. Let's wait for a while until more exorcists arrive." suggested Kimiko

"Alright, but if they attack we'll have to fight them." Takeshi replied.

Alice

An exorcist against Leiko-sama! Alice thought as both noah and exorcist started fighting.

"Let's go, Bunny"

Conjuring Bunny, Alice jumped on his head and charged the exorcist. As she came close enough to slash him, however, a voice screamed.

"Now your place, akuma!" And with a kick, Leiko sent both Alice and Bunny out of the way. "This is my fight akuma. You will stay there and watch the death of this exorcist. But you may attack any other who dare come near. Am I understood?"

"Yes, Leiko-sama..." replied Alice. She along with Bunny took a few steps back away from the fight and looked on...

Hei

As Leiko formed her kodachi and began to rush forward, Hei swaps to his lance and prepares to defend.

Really, what is the deal with these people. Thinking about the odd Akuma who conjured "bunny" Hei is almost distracted.

Leiko gives no time for this however, as she leaps into range. Hei was holding the tip low to the ground in a classic spearmans position, and jerks the blade upwards to meet the imposing Noah.

The twin Kodachi hold back the spear blade, and force the shaft further up, she seems to be trying to create an opening to dash under the point.

Hei spins the point on up and around, using the butt end of the spear to strike low towards Leiko's belly, this time the kodachi meet the shaft and hold it downwards. A brief pause as Leiko's stare is about enough to cause petrification.

"Basilisk."

"What!?"

Leiko, if possible, seems to grow even angrier.

Pushing the shaft aside with one kodachi and lunging forward with the second, Hei rolls to his left and brings the lance above his head to defend from yet another swift kodachi swipe.

"These things are irritating, couldn't we discuss this like a sensible pair of adults?"

Leiko all but snarls as she pulls back and lunges again, shoving one kodachi low and one higher. Spinning the lance in a clockwise rotation, Hei is able to separate the kodachi from his the vector towards his body. In the close quarters, Hei plants the shaft of the spear into the ground and vaults over Leiko.

Crouched behind her, he swipes the lance low to the ground in an attempt to take her legs from under her, though she nimbly rolls forwards out of range.

Standing up and resting the lance over his shoulder, Hei says "Seems this won't be very easily solved with just weapons. All things come in time though, perhaps you'll see things my way yet."

You must be trying to anger her and cloud her concentration. It's the only explanation for your stupidity.

You aren't welcome right now, I'll thank you kindly to keep quiet you mouthy, cocky, annoying innocence shard.

Grinning, Leiko remains temporarily silent, and begins to circle to the side in a predatory fashion.

Midare

"See things his way?... he's got to be kidding me"

Leiko begun to circle to the side always glaring at the exorcist and then she rushed towards him again but this time she was a bit faster. Hei noticed that and, even if he was surprised by this, he made it in time to block with the shaft of the lance this attack which aimed for his neck and for his abdomen.

She kept pushing him back, forcing Hei to step several inches back, glaring directly in the exorcist eyes. "I have to say it exorcist, you're better now than the last time we met, but you're not good enough to beat me... specially since I'm not the same I was back then"

Hei frowned at this statement, the question "what does she mean by that" was written all over his face. Leiko grinned at this.

Taking advantage of this second of distraction, with a swift movement, Leiko circled and finding an opening at the exorcist back, she beat him with her right forearm, blowing him several feet away.

The exorcist ended up on one of his knees, but eventually he was able to stand again. The damage wasn't so serious, but it took him some effort to stand again.

Hei turned around to face Leiko again, she just stood there, looking at him and grinning.

"Why?" he asked.

"Why? what?", she said while placing her fist on her hip and curved her body to the right, in a mocking gesture, showing a smile.

"You just had the chance to kill me, or at least to seriously harming me and yet, all you did was to beat me with your arm".

There were only silence for several second between the two enemies.

"So? what you didn't killed me?"

"Isn't it obvious exorcist... I'm going easy on you by now."

Again, silence. Hei glared at her.

"it seems you've got better... so I'm just, how to say it..." Leiko thought for some seconds. "... yeah, I'm testing you". Her smile grew wider.

Crescent..

Cresent avoided the running people swiftly, jumping from one place to another or dashing between them.

'I wonder where Rexus is.. We parted after we reached the HQ..,' thought the teal haired boy, then he realized what he tought 'Bah. Why do I care what is he doing now?'
Running toward the West Gate, Crescent saw Takeshi and Kimiko was standing there, observing the battle field. He jumped on their side, and nodded as they saw him came.

"Those blue lotus are suspicious. It was made by the Noa..?!" Crescent never finish his sentence as a finder who just stand near the gate dashed to their position, carrying something like a dagger.

"What's wrong with him?" asked Crescent, bored. He moved aside to avoid it and cut the finder's attack by grabbing his arm. As the bigger man kept struggling, Crescent hit the man's back neck. His action made the finder fainted.

Keeping the finder in a safe place, he asked the others to stay away from the gate. Crescent approached the gate cautionously, and not long, his earlier question was answered.

As he breathed, he become more and more dizzy. Realizing something was wrong, he quickly covered his mouth and nose.

"There is something wrong with the air, I think it's caused by the spores released by the blue lotus. Close your nose and mouth," said Crescent to the other exorcists, seeing them taking his suggestion.

He once again faced the gate and placed an air bag around his nose and mouth so he won't inheal the spores. Activating his Innocence, he placed his Blood Cage around the lotus flowers. This time, the barrier was made as a vacuum room, strong enough to make the plant withered and to kept the spores inside.

Damn. I can't moves the spores to another place, since it will affect other people.' Crescent gritted his teeth. At least, the spores won't kept producing anymore, unless the Noah created more.

After giving another mask of clean air to Takeshi and Kimiko, Crescent walked past the gate to the outside..

Jacques picked up a large brown cloak on his way over. It draped over his level 3 innocence, and its hood covered his face, making it dark even from the front.

He looked onto the battlefield. Poppies were releasing their spores; And Nero and Constantine looked on as they saw one of their siblings fight Hei. "Two things: Don't touch the poppies. And You had better help Hei; as soon as he gains the upper hand, those other two will probably "even" the playing field."

'What's with the poppies?'

"They'll cause hallucinogenic visions of your death, if you get a whiff of their spores."

'Fun.'

With that, Jacques began floating, far above the spores, his face still covered, as he came to rest over Constantine and Nero. A loud grunt was heard as Hei went back several feet. He murmured, "Raison de l'homme." 'I'm only going to use Raison and Gravity for now. No need for them to know who I really am.'

Dies observed the fight from a distance, perched on a tree with Kujaku hanging by his side. The blackened circle on his arm was getting bigger - and what was more, the pain had increased. Inside his arm, Dies could feel what felt like tiny blades, destroying him from the inside.

He gritted his teeth, standing up. Kujaku licked his arm, and the limb numbed - the pain fading. Helpful, but not a permenant remedy.

Leiko, Nero, and Constantine had already begun the assault on the west gate. Dies unsheathed his sword, swinging it over his shoulder, and began to stride at a relaxed pace towards the gate.

Even his sword hummed, not painfully, but distractingly. He shrugged it off, as he walked straight at the gate.

Nicholas stopped. He was startled by this strange and surprising feeling that certainly slowed his stride. His senses told him the source of his serious desire to slaughter slipped through his strong grip and slid into a slew of sinister souls on the opposite side of this stupendous scuffle.

Carefully, Nicholas crept away from this crazy and cantankerous field of conflict and dashed towards his correct objective, Hei Ashur. Soon he came upon a completely different battlefield. Nicholas counted the contestants in this battle. Four and Four. Four chosen vs four children. Leiko and Hei were currently in combating. Nicholas continued to creep closer. He clasps his hand around her right arm.

"I think I'll take it from here."

He placed a point g-field on his hood, so that it sank down and wouldn't come off. 'You ready Lamia?'

"I am."

The silver brooch which held together his level three cloak began to change again. The quicksilver took an ambiguous shape. His right hand reached under the coat. A long handle formed, then a strange center-piece: it had hand-guards, but lacked a solid core. From there, the handle went a little longer, then turned into the blade, which was just as long as Jacques was tall, about 2 meters. Jacques opened his eyes and gave a deep breath. "Release."

He began his free-fall towards Nicholas. He made no noise. A large spike of water flew up towards him. "This Exorcist is mine," said Nicholas to Leiko, pointing towards Hei.

Jacques left hand slid from under the large brown cloak, moving the water spike away. It struck the wall, piercing it a meter at a minimum.

His sword swung down between the two Noah and Hei. Leiko and Nicholas seperated; Jacques began running towards Nicholas.

Suddenly, Nicholas felt heavy. "Feeling the Gravity of the situation, Noah?"

He held the sword over Nicholas, ready to swing down, his face still dark.

Well thats comforting, they almost want to fight over me.

Leiko continued to circle like a predatory cat, and Hei decides since he's being tested to raise the stakes.

The next time she rushed in Hei held dodged to the left, deflecting one Kodachi with his lance while sending a smaller, thinner Enrei encircling Leiko's right wrist. Hei plants the lance vertically to block the left handed kodachi, and then releasing the weapon which had had his power flowing into it for some time, uses yet another enhanced Enrei to encircle her left wrist.

Looking as pleasant as usual, Leiko grimaces towards Hei.

"Perhaps testing has its faults, you might as well say take the first serious strike." Forming the pillars of fire, and slamming his palms together which cause leiko's own arms to cross, as well as keep her stationary, the pillars rush together upon her rather annoyed figure.

Colliding together Leiko is caught in the center of the pillars rush. Leiko then managed to sever the Enrei strands and flipped backwards from the fire wall.

The two are now separated by the flames, with Hei's lance stuck in the ground near him. However what Hei does is form a second lance rather than pluck the original from the ground.

She'll be back soon enough.

"I think I'll be find thank you very much"

Nicholas got up to his feet normally, to the cloaked figure's chagrin. Nicholas had noticed the increased weight of his body, his movements would have been too slow to his liking so he resorted to controlling it with his water manipulation. His overall intensity of power might be slightly diminished but his speed remains the same.

The cloaked figure said nothing, instead he swung down his sword. Nicholas didn't bother to move. He began wiping dirt from his knee's and brushing dust from his arms. The sword veered left and struck the ground beside Nicholas.

"I think you need to work on your coordination young sir." Nicholas stretched his arms.

The cloaked figure swung his sword again, going across Nicholas' body across the stomach, this time his swing was several inches short of Nicholas' body and just swung threw, throwing himself off balance.

"And your depth perception."

The cloaked figure threw several more swings, none of them hit, they all strangely veered off at the last moment.

"What is this?" the cloaked figure asked.

"I have no idea what it is." Nicholas shrugged with a fake grin on his face.

Physical Encounters have never been my strong point. Thankfully, individuals need to be pretty close to me in order to strike. At that range I can control their movements, comfortably anyways. The thing with the end of their strike is they don't put as much effort into it, the body becomes easier to control.

"Now then" Nicholas says, "when do you plan on actually starting to fight? These attempts to make me flinch are growing tiresome."

Nicholas shakes his fists. He is close to a large body of water, ground water should be pretty near to the surface. The ground begins to spout as fountains of water are released from the earth.

He moves his hands flowingly, from side to side as if preforming Tai-Chi. Four (out of 10) Water spouts converge to create this watery figure in the shape of a serpent. Nicholas blows air towards the serpent and it begins to solidify, freeze if you will. Nicholas motions his hands towards the cloaked figure, his entire body following, and the dragon begins to move, it's body swinging up and down as if swimming in the water.

Jean ran as fast as he can as he reached the main door to the West Gate. Sadly as he figured, most of the Noah was on this side. While it wasn't so much of a slaughter as the East side, there were fewer exorcists defending the gate.

Against this many Noah, Jean knew he had to help. Taking out his crossbow he began to charge the bolt with electricity as he aimed at one of the Noah. The small current would be enough to stop one of them in their tracks for a short while, hoping he would be of some help.

'Trying to freeze me?'

"Raison de l'homme."

With that, he swung Lamia up, cutting the dragon in half. Each side went to either side of him, making a perfect arch. He walked through the archway, as it collapsed. "I no longer had control," Nicholas perplexedly said.

Jacques walked closer. He swung at Nicholas again, from the side, but it swung up. His eye watched. A small resevoir of Nicholas' energy resided in his cells, with more in the muscles. Jacques grinned.

Nicholas told him, "You really need to get your eyes checked. You can't hit worth a damn."

Jacques smiled and said in a dark voice, "I wanted to test this blade, but crushing you sounds even better now."

Nicholas said in response, "Crush me? With your command of gravity? It's weak..."

With that, he neutralized the energy in his body. "I hope you like flying."

The entire ground shook. Nicholas flew upward, hitting the ceiling; The rock behind him crumbled under the weight. He could barely move his arms, and a piece of earth, wet, flew upward. Nicholas had a smile on his face. The rock split in half, flying to either side of him. It fell back to the ground.

Jacques rose his free arm, pressing Nicholas against the ceiling harder. Open-faced, it flung downward, and so did the Noah, landing smack on the ground.

The stones Jacques had lifted at Nicholas then crashed behind him.

"You're boring me as well," Jacques replied, glaring. "This isn't the first time you've bored me before either."

He floated into the air, above the geysers, holding the gravity around Nicholas at least ten times what it normally is. 'This'll give Hei enough time to finish up.'

She didn't care about Nicholas anymore.

"Tch, how he dare to interfere with my fight"

Not when that exorcist dared to attacked her like this. Now she was looking at this wall of fire separating her from her prey.

"Eventually these flames will disperse so... let's do something on the meanwhile

"Gundari Myouou" and she placed her right hand on the ground. By the other side of the wall of flames, Hei could feel how the ground shook a little and thanks to his good reflexes, he managed to jump up from the spot where he were standing when something like fifty snakes, broke trough the ground, trying to attack him.

The exorcist kept jumping back while the snakes where chasing him, until they've reach its limit and they stayed there, moving and still trying to go after Hei.

"That was close" he said on a sigh.

The flames were already dispersing, and he looked at Leiko's shadows right behind the flames. He could see how she spread her arms and were barely able to hear a word on japanese. "Niou".

After this, he noticed that at the Noah's side there were two huge shadows. Once the flames were almost completely gone, he was finally able to see the creatures that Leiko had with her. They were two huge spiders.

"Ough, that's creepy".

"Creepy?, you know nothing exorcist..." one of the giant black widow spiders got closer to Leiko, and she patted its head "... these are my adorable pets, they will do anything for me like, for example..."

Hei saw how Leiko took her stance with her kodachi "... help me to kill you" With this, she charged at Hei's direction at a even faster speed while she was followed by these spiders.

Right when she was almost face to face with the exorcist, Leiko moved to the right side and with a scissor-like movement, she attack his lefts and right side. Hei was able to stop the blow on his right, but not completely the one on his left side, and the kodachi finally made contact with his body, cutting slightly the left side of his abdomen.
At the same time, the giant spiders, attacked him with their frontal legs, piercing Hei's legs.

Leiko jumped back, always followed by her pets, looking at the exorcist

"Now... let's see if you can be as fast as before with those injuries, exorcist"

From the sitting position, Hei feels his wounds begin to close, though movement would be impaired for a few minutes likely.

"Nice pets, creepy as all hell but I do have something to add. Look over at that lance."

Glancing over, as Hei snaps his fingers, the trap is sprung. The energy that would fuel Ignis Tempestus was residing in that lance, and while it lacked the rotational spin that would create the twister, it nevertheless released the energy in a sizable conflagration.

The spiders and Leiko are bathed in flame, the spiders themselves seem to be destroyed, and Leiko has suffered significant damage.

"Next time I assume you'll pay attention to your surroundings. Payback for the creepy critters." Chides Hei. If she isn't incensed enough as it is, she'll be a berserker soon enough.

Hei stands and lowers the tip of his lance again, ready for what might come next, which is likely something rather evil. Putting a hand to his sliced abdomen, Hei can't wait for the wounds to reform, this might be a bit of a hassle.

Nicholas was thrown about. He was slammed against the ceiling, the wall, the ground, the geysers, you name it.

"Enough of this!" Nicholas motioned his finger.

Jacques was throwing against the wall, pinned.

"Too bad you weren't say... 2/3rds Fire or something." Nicholas grinned.

He was released from his prison and fell onto the soft water which slowly lowered him to the ground. Nicholas moved his finger around the room, Jacques' body followed the motions. Up, down, side, side, diagonal, Jacques was throw all about the room.

Jacques moved his own hand and Nichoals was sent flying again, into a wall. It was a strange tag team where one would throw the other and then immediately after be thrown himself.

"Don't worry exorcist... I always learn from my mistakes" Leiko said sarcastically while trying to stand straight after that attack.

Leiko smiled again. "But exorcist, I've just told you, I'm not the same I was before, didn't I?"

Hei stood as well, his wound were gone already. "Nice ability you have there exorcist... too bad that I have something that will ruin your expectations"

"First... Yakushi Nyorai" Then Hei could notice some tiny spiders climbing up Leiko's right arm until they reached her neck and she tilted her head to the left side, exposing her delicate neck and there, the spiders bite her.

The exorcist frowned at this. "What? is weird that I let my own spiders bite me?. I'll let you know something exorcist: If these spiders would bite you, they would kill you but this poison is beneficial to me. See? I'm healing now" She said with a smile, while the burns on her body were healing.

"Now, I have something for you..." Leiko glared at the exorcist, who were hiding his shock. "...Gouzanze Myouou" Another sentence on japanese, and then he saw how her left eye changed from her normal red color to a blue color.

Suddenly, Hei felt like something beat him and then he felt an excruciating pain on his legs and on his left side again, like the wounds were just made and he saw how blood was dripping form them. "Y-you opened my wounds again??"

"Yes, and I can do it as many times I wish, exorcist", Leiko said grinning.

Then, taking advantage of this moment of shock, she charged at Hei again but this time, instead of cutting him with her kodachi she plunked one of them on the ground and then she raised her right her in front of here and called "Seishi Bosatsu" and countless spiders which turned into needles were shoot at Hei who due to his newly open injuries on his legs weren't able to move as fast as before and some of those needles got to him, harming him on his arms and legs.

Dies whistled as he continued to walk up the pathway towards the gate, dirty boots stamping into war-torn earth, surprised that thus far, no attacks had come his way. For a moment he paused and glanced backwards; to see all of his siblings in battle.

"Heh."

Kujaku leapt down from his shoulder, preceeding him towards the gate. The akuma prodded the giant door nervously, and Dies smiled. He crossed his legs and sat down in front of it. It would simply be rude to go through without waiting for the others.

'2/3rds fire?'

He was thrown to the side, where a convenient ice spike sat, pointed out against the wall. Jacques switched hands, putting his sword on his left, then cutting the wall behind the pillar and hitting it with the broad side of the sword. It flew towards Nicholas, then crumbled mid-flight.

'I need to find a way to keep him from pouring his energy into my body.'

"We could do it so much easier if you trained the next step."

Jacques threw Nicholas against the ceiling. He purged the deep blue energy from his body, but as soon as he did, it would flow from the water back into his legs. Or... from the air, seeping like the water.

'There's only one good way to do this.'

He let the sword vanish, the blade first, then the hilt-guard, then the handle, and his hand reached back into his jacket.

"Raison de l'homme." He purged the energy again, but disrupted the immediate area around him. "Let's find the true Gravity of the situation, eh?"

Dies spat, talking to no-one in particular. Thus far; no offensive techniques had been directed at him. He glanced at his arm, briefly. The scar had turned a deep black, and was beggining to spread. But thanks to Kujaku's saliva, it was still numbed, preventing the Noah from feeling pain.

He slid his sword from it's sheath, and leapt back, throwing power into his arm, before swinging Rinne'tenshou straight into the looming gate, the sword's edge scraping against the giant door, before Dies pressed forwards, ripping upwards...

Western Gate: 200 ft or so above the ground

"He's really going at it, that Nicholas. Such loyalty and admiration he holds to that muppet of his, heh. Let's see then... Un, Deux, Trois. Three exorcists, Leiko and Dies seem to be nearby, Constantine on the other hand..."

I looked into the far off distance, barely catching a glimpse of a cold blooded murderer who sent corpses half-fried to their burning demise.

Constantine I thought, the seemingly ancient fellow walking next to him was one that I have never met before now. From where I stood though, I could tell that he was one of us. A Noah.

Soon thereafter, fiery arrows shot at me from down below. I took no action towards them for a while, staring into one of them's eyes as if threatening him of my wrath.

Stubborn exorcists and their defense mechanisms. Always so quick to judge, and often quick to fall.

Conjuring a bolt from the skies, I looked upon the exorcists with disdain for one last time before a massive flash covered the ground below robbing them all of their lives painlessly.

"Even those who claim to be prophets need not die with a scream of agony. Their overly passionate selves are what has brought them to such state of writhe and misery. In heaven we shall meet again, exorcists."

I stood firm in midair, muttering a few mercy prayers for the lives that I have taken, hoping that their souls would not be summoned again only to be humiliated and tainted in the form of akuma.

((This is the equivalent of my travelling post. You may attempt attacking me if you could somehow shoot a 200 ft long projectile =P)).

Jarlaxle and Yase - a plateau removed form the HQ itself

"Well, well, well. What have we here? It looks like a battle has began in the gates of the Black Order," said Jarlaxle, poring over a device that acted like a projector of sorts, and it showed the battle field clearly.

Yase barely glanced at the device, looking directly at the battlefield. "We should be able to begin our assault soon," he said calmly, scratching his hand. Their wounds healed during the time they spent traveling quickly towards the main HQ itself, but they were not in full fighting shape yet - not that they intended to actually fight anyone of significant power yet. Their wars were of the mind.

"True," Jarlaxle glanced to the East, waiting for the arrival of some friends. Soon enough the sky were darkened with many dots, most of them level 1 Akuma, but some were level 2s, and many were already level 3. But they were nothing more than a distraction for the Noah.

The real event had barely began.

A number of darker dots appeared on the snow beneath them, crawling up. The modified Akuma. Dr. Sander was hard at work at the Earl's mansion, and the results were here. These monsters were far beyond the power of a regular level 2, and soon, the doctor promised, monsters far above level 3's will arrive.

The Earl was pleased, and Jarlaxle used the additional power to attack the Exorcists, or so the Earl believed. In fact, the situation could not be further from the truth.

"It's time," said Jarlaxle, rubbing his hands together. Yase nodded and transformed into his Akuma form, using his thrusters to descend from the plateau quickly. Jarlaxle followed, slightly slower. Before them, three creatures stood, Akuma - but modified.

The one in front (http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c39/SankonGanSou/Anubis___baiken032_collab_by_khelek.jpg) - apparently the leader - stepped forward, sound coming out of the shadows where his face should have been. "Greetings, Akuma. Our master told us that you two know where to find easiest fights."

The other one - a far more fearsome one (http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c39/SankonGanSou/carnage_by_nebezial.jpg) - laughed maniacally. "We should just follow the scent!"

"Scent, you say," Jarlaxle chuckled, "but is sight not better?" he pointed to the direction of the battlefield. "There will be fun."

The third and final form, a hound (http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c39/SankonGanSou/10.jpg) of sorts - immediately dashed in that direction.

"Time for fun," mentioned Yase, and Jarlaxle nodded his agreement as they moved along with the massive Akuma army coming to the aid of the Noah.

((They will arrive in 4 more posts, their powers and abilities will come later, but they won't be killed by anyone with only one shot - in fact, it's doubtful if you lot can beat them at all at this point))

The blade screamed into the door, tearing huge chunks of wood as it did so. But gradually, the momentumn stopped. The magics protecting the gate had been strong enough to slow down, and eventually stop the movement of Dies' blade. The Noah placed his foot on the gate, before pulling backwards, ripping out the sword.

The gate stood firm, but Dies noticed the wounds left in it. While strong, with enough damage, it would fall. He spun the katana in his hands as he rushed forwards for another attack...

Jean:

The gate was being attacked by one of the Noah. Its magic seals kept it standing but more attacks meant it wouldn't last long. Jean quickly glanced down to see that dimensional Noah from before and shot a bolt lined with explosive liquid straight at him.

The result was a small explosion. Accuracy did not matter with an area of effect attack. Without waiting for the Noah to respond, Jean switched to his golden halberd as he jumped down, a trail of blue lightning materialising from the blade as he struck the ground, causing a bigger explosion of lightning.

A blazing arrow glinted in the sunlight, reflecting on the blade of Rinne'tenshou as it descended into Dies. The Katana caught the arrow, the explosive effect only serving to increase the damage as the sword slammed into the door once more. This one was a deep stab, Rinne'tenshou going into the gate, up to the hilt.

Dies turned to see the exorcist launching himself at him, and leapt backwards, towards the gate, leaping upwards and standing on his sword. As the lightning flickered towards him, Kujaku leapt into it, swallowing the electricity and sending it back at the exorcist in the form of a powerful static whip. The akuma burped, before jumping onto Dies' back.

The Noah hopped slightly, putting more pressure onto his sword, wriggling it free from the gate. He grinned, jumping off it, and slamming down with his left hand as he did so. There was a resounding thud as the blade whistled free, and Dies turned to face the exorcist, bringing the sword to a gaurd position.

"I don't think you had a welcoming party yet," Jean smiled, then sporting quite a puzzled look to the furry creature next to the Noah.

Two against one...not quite fair..

Jean quickly put his hand to the ground, creating a star-shaped mark. He then quickly stood up as he spun around, his halberd changing to chain-and-blade mode as he struck in circular motions, generating electricity with each spin.

The Noah dodged most of the attacks easily with just a few steps but only realised the something was forming after each spin. A volt dragon materialise after the tenth swing as Jean launched the attack towards the Noah.

Dies danced in and out of range, as the exorcist swung his halberd, performing flamboyant acrobatic gestures in order to avoid tiny, crackling lances of energy. As he saw the dragon forming, he smiled. It had been a long time since Dies had been able to participate in the mass extermination of rats, and this one seemed like such a nice target...

He tossed his sword to Kujaku. The akuma caught the blade in both hands.

"Hey, i caught it!"

The weight at the end of the blade made it tip slowly backwards as it fell towards the ground. Kujaku could only yelp in panic as he fell flat on his arse, getting buried underneath the sword.

Dies, meanwhile, stood still, one hand in his pocket as he took the electric blast head-on. The electricity blasted into him with explosive results, resulting in a large, smoking crater, with ash and smog billowing out. Dies leapt forwards from this, flicking his hands outwards as he run, conjuring three daggers in either hand.

"Is that all you have!? That was pitiful!"

Dies ducked as he approached, moving under the swing of Jean's halberd. He opened with a spinning roundhouse kick, before twirling, slicing the dimensional daggers at the exorcist's throat.

"That was pitiful!" the Noah taunted, Jean holding his hand over his neck, but strangely smiling. The Noah's strike led him straight back where Jean made the star-shaped mark, and ten-foot lightning rose up from the ground, covering the Noah in the blue lightning.

Without wasting time Jean created two Shadow Lightning clones, one of them running towards the Akuma. The other clone threw Jean's crossbow bolts in the air and drenched them with flammable liquid, as both Jean and him created a Magnet Bomb where the Noah was, drawing the bolts towards the enemy, causing a big explosion as well as impaling the enemy.

The other clone then created his own Magnet Bomb towards the Akuma, causing the sword it was clutching to pin it down to the ground even further.

Dies smiled as the clones spread out, and noting one going towards Kujaku, Dies created several pocket planes that would keep him relativley safe from attacks. It was better that he stayed stuck under the sword though; Kujaku did have a tendency to wander.

As the crossbow bolts streaked towards him, Dies smiled, twirling as he cloaked himself within a pocket plane. The crossbow bolts culminated on the magnetic area, smashing into each other and exploding. With that done, Dies stepped from his protective dimension. He flicked his hands, and all six daggers were sent flying, two into each of the Exorcist. The two clones exploded with a "pop"

“Ah jeez…” Shinju frowned.
From her view from the cliff, she could see the swarms of Akuma that were already trying to force their way into the headquarters, trampling over the nearby towns in the process.

Looking up she saw a cloud of predatory birds, circling and awaiting Death to do its work for the feast that would follow.

Shinju sent a message through the wind towards the cluster.
The ones that recognized her dispersed from the group and swooped down with ease.

All ten hawks and falcons before her cocked their heads to the side attentively.

Shinju grinned and held out a piece of raw meat to each of them.

“Thank you, my friends, but alas this kindred spirit must request upon your assistance once again…”

Sending out another message, she directed each bird to an area on the battlefield upon which they would keep watch over, relaying information to her if necessary.

Once they were gone, Shinju sighed and reached behind her to take out her Liu Bei dagger.
With the same motion, she hacked off the head of an Akuma that had been tailing her around, awaiting a chance to attack her from behind.
Three more level 2 Akuma emerged from the trees to confront her.

“You are oursss, Exorcistsss!” One of the Akuma hissed out.

Twirling her dagger around, she crouched low to the ground, her eyes alight.

“Sorry, but I don’t belong to anybody, least of all you.”

Silent, swift, and before they could counter, the Akuma were already heavily mutilated and an instant later gone with the wind.

Shinju flipped back and off the cliff, intending on joining up with Serenade who was already moving towards the heart of the clashes.

"Kuso! this man is so.... so!!..."

"IRRITANT!!!"

Hei was surprised by this. Leiko who kept her cool all this time, has cracked?.

"Now you did it exorcist... I'll need to get serious on you"

Now Leiko's expression was really frightening. She managed to move her right arm at took a hold of the lance which was piercing her stomach and tear it off her, she kept doing the same with the other lances, while she was getting even angrier at each one of them.

It too a lot of effort to Leiko to finally stand completely. "Ya-Yakushi Nyorai" even more spider than before ran up her arms until they reached her neck and they bite her again, they looked like a black necklace all grouped around it. Once the spiders where done, they fell to the ground, vanishing. Even tough Leiko had regain most of her power, she wasn't healed completely.

"Now I never thought I've use this one of any of you exorcists scums but this irritating me and besides, I'd like to see you face when you see this"

She couldn't stand straight, but she was able to raise her head to glare at the exorcist and with a low tone of her voice she simply said: "Enma-ou"

Hei looked at Leiko in shock, he just can't believe what was happening in front of his eyes.

Her shadows was growing and indescribable noises could be heard.

"Im-impossible" Hei whispered.

(something like this (http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa280/Midare13/1130982222_f.jpg))

In front of him Leiko had transformed. Part of her lower body looked like that of a black widow spider. The legs of her spider part were moving constantly and they made a wet sound due to the poison segregating from them.

"I'm sure that with that technique of yours you're immune to my poison but I wonder what can you do about this".

Leiko rushed at Hei again, moving at an unimaginable fast speed to her current size while he, trying to not be too shocked about this, ran toward one of the lances and teared off the ground just in time to fend off her attack.

"It seems that you don't know spiders well, exorcist" She grinned and using the second pair of her legs she attack his back, piercing him.

She jumped back, to see how the exorcist dropped to his keen, breathing heavily and she smiled, amused.

Jade was standing not far from the battlefield, hidden in the shadows. She was both amused and terrified at what she was seeing. Exorcists, definitely those of higher levels compared to her, and Noahs were battling each other to the end. There were lightning bolts, then ice shots and who-knows-what next. Very impressive.

About a day ago, she had returned to the Asian HQ, weak and wounded. Grave news had reached her from Bak-chan and just as predicted by him, they were soon attacked by NOahs and akumas of all sort. It was mere luck that she had managed to return earlier and avoid all the commotion happening at the west gate.

Should I join the fight....or should i just watch for the time being? Jade touched her wounds lightly. She had not fully healed, but is still capable of fighting if needed.

Making up her mind, she sat down on the ground and raised her two hands in the direction of the battlefield, focusing on the three exorcists that came into her view. In seconds, waves of blue aura engulfed them and began to heal away their wounds.

((3 exorcists. The exorcists engulfed in the blue aura are protected by it as well, but only momentarily. Since Jade is a healer, those healed will have health +10.))

Sorry...

Much like how I enjoyed observing the fight, a female exorcist in the distance did the same, only she was healing her comrades as they fought valiantly against Nicholas's pouring wrath. Not only was 4 against 1 unfair, the fact that they had a healer tipped the scales to their favor even more. I had to intervene, no matter how confident Nicholas was of his skills.

"I hope you haven't been a bad boy when I wasn't around Nicholas. Now then, I'll take care of the small fry while you settle your personal vendetta with that silver-haired exorcist." Said I, as a I descended on a spot not too far away from where Nicholas stood. My unchanged voice despite my appearance alteration made the veteran exorcists realize that I was back in the battle, even after being away for quite sometime.

"Oh, don't look at me like that Jacques... You're hardly small fry. I speak of the fresh meat you have introduced recently to your group. A healer's a smart move, but you should always..."

A buzzing sound followed by a loud crash and a blinding flash of light followed my speech as a bolt struck the ground in front of her with fury. The attack was not meant to fatally wound her, but to rather keep her away from her friends' aid.

"Keep her covered."

Jade staggered and fell backwards as the bolt struck the ground in front of her, barely inches away from the spot she was sitting on earlier. Nevertheless, the effect was there; the blast had wounded her in many places.

"Damn, they must have noticed me," she cursed as she quickly got up and slipped further into the shadows. She will find means to assist the other exorcists later.

The bolt flew past Nicholas, guided away by Jacques.

"No point in keeping this on then," Jacques said as he took off the cloak.

"I'm only here to let them finish their duel, Xavier. Then, I'd be more than happy to duel you."

'Keep the healer under cover? Who's he talking about?'

"Nicholas, I have no intention on keeping this fight going. I'm only going to keep you away from them. Intervening on a duel, I thought you'd be better than that, monsieur," Jacques told him. "You're slow at this."

Jacques paused for a second.

"The lightning. He's supposed to be a wind-type. It's still possible with the wind, but it's more effective just to use the wind."

'Right.'

"And what happened to you, Xavier?"

Jasper

Glad to have brought to himself some attention on the battleground, Xavier smirked at the exorcist.

"New found power Jacques. Controlling the wind is fine and dandy, but there are often times that one seeks to indulge himself into greater power and tap the extremes of his potential. I journeyed within myself to find this latent ability within me for days, but I am still aeons away from mastering it."

Remembering what he said before that, I looked at the man with a disgusted expression on my face.

"Intervene in a battle? Like I said, I'm only taking care of the small fry in the pan. Hei is Nicholas's target and there is no way I'm interfering even if Nicholas is on the verge of dying. That female was healing you from the distance, all I did was take care of that eyesore for an exorcist."

Pausing for a second before stroking my hair with my left hand, I continued speaking.

"You on the other hand were fighting Nicholas even though Hei was well in control of the situation. Isn't that what people call "dirty fighting"? Heh, I'm not particularly eloquent when it comes to street talk, so forgive my ignorance in this particular subject. Now that you're away from the battle, would you mind entertaining me for a while? I need to delve into the potentials of this power I've attained, specially that you seem to have a sister-manifestation of it. Electricity and magnetism are closely related after all."

The fact that he could direct blows away in a uniaxial direction must mean that his power acts in one axis only. From what I've seen, it looks like it acts only in the vertical direction, for and against the Earth's gravitational pull. So in short, what I need is something he won't be able to react to in time. Heh...

Putting myself into the mindset of battle, I summoned a bolt down to my fists which now glowed of the energy stored in them. Instead of charging at my opponent, I chose to wait for his move and act accordingly. Knowing that the gravity will probably be a hindrance to me now that he could control it, I levitated myself above the air in wait of first round's gong.

"I haven't got all day now, Jacques."

Jacques watched closely, seeing the buildup in Xavier's hand. 'Equal in charge, the potential half-way between two point charges is zero, as is the E-field.'

He began putting the same charge into his left hand as Xavier. 'Lightning was my natural element.'

"I'm warning only Nicholas to not interfere with Leiko and Hei; From what I could tell, it was no longer going to be a duel. I decided to intervene at that point, and separate your siblings."

He gave a stern look on his face. 'That conversation got me a lot more than I thought it would.'

"So long as Nicholas doesn't move towards Hei, I'd be honored. Now only if he'd honor it as well. Life isn't something we can sit idly and wave as it passes. We have both climbed mountains; but which one of us looks down, and the other looks up?"

'Wait... Sister-manifestation? That means he might be able to control the elements. I'm going to have to watch him.'

"Don't over-analyze."

"Étapes de l'Arcangel." Jacques floated upward, meeting on eye-level with Xavier, about 15 meters away from him. "Don't fight him. This will be an easier battle once you learn the next step. You're too full of yourself..."

'Maybe so, but let's test the limits.'

Jacques glanced back at Nicholas; he looked eager to fight Hei.

He turned around, facing this new Xavier; what lay ahead, he did not know.

Crescent..

As Crescent run past the gate, a few akuma level ones starts attacking him, but he was much faster than them, having activated his Unicorns he shot the 6 of them using a Bouncer Bullet. The akumas were being pierced in no time. Directing his bullet to attack another akumas, he saw 2 level two akumas were lurking around the place.

Summoning two tornados using his Unicorn Blast, he sent them to the level twos using his teleportation ability. His attacks caught them surprised and didn't give them any time to react; the tornados successfully pierced through them, causing them to shatter and turned into dust.

"Leiko?"

At first, I thought I heard wrong, but upon inspection to my left I finally came to notice the long haired lady currently fighting Hei. Slapping my forehead with my left hand, I moved my head down in shame and muttered in a low voice.

"I suppose it is my fault for jumping to conclusions. I have not noticed the presence of Leiko earlier, she and I have never really been deployed on a mission together before."

I bowed down to the gentleman with my right hand in front of me and my left behind me, expressing my apology for jumping to conclusions without further inspecting the matter.

"Nicholas, I seem to have come in at a bad time. I'll take my leave and make my way towards the HQ where Constantine and the new guy were heading to. Excusez moi."

Looking back to the now floating Jacques, whose powers seem to be growing more similar to mine now that he and I stood on equal grounds, or so to speak, I nodded my head gently and dashed away towards the entrance. It so happened however, that while gliding over a sea of trees that I spotted the feminine wounded figure of the exorcist who supported Hei and company earlier against Leiko and Nicholas. Even though our eyes crossed, neither she nor I took any action towards each other. She was severely wounded and I could not get myself to finish off someone who could not fight at full strength, let alone the fact that she was a woman. Knowing that she was going to probably come back to her friends' aid after a while, I decided to hover in place, waiting for her to make a wrong move in order to justify my wrathful judgement.

This is so boring...

Jade was peacefully sitting underneath the dark leaves of the forest trees when something crossed her sight; a Noah. Dark as he is, he gave her an impression of something incredibly strong and powerful, perhaps even more powerful than the other Noahs she've seen. But she couldn't care any less. As far as she is concerned, he isn't attacking her. At least not yet. For the moment, her main and only priority is to rest and regain her lost energy.

Cursing the fact that her innocence wouldn't allow her to heal herself, she grabbed the pouch attached to her belt and held it in her hands. Whatever was in the pouch started glowing faintly, so faintly it was barely visible through the pouch's thick fabric. Her wounds remained the same, but she felt a familiar warmth flowing through her entire body. For a moment, she forgot completely about the pain. Directing her gaze at the Noah hovering up ahead, she kept herself protected by using a partially casted SHield of Soul. She decided not to cast it completely as it might then attract the Noah's attention. The transparent barrier hovered around her aimlessly, waiting, just like its exorcist.

This better be good....

((Boring, huh Z? Well, prepare to get crashed!))

Rave and Miranda stood on a cliff overlooking the HQ, where the fight was taking place. The Noah split their forces and were now attacking each gate separately. An army of Akuma was coming from the other side of the mountain, too many to count.

"This is bad news," observed Rave, completely relaxed. The last few days changed him, showing him the mistakes he made. No one should regret their actions, there was no point in changing the unchangeable. Then Rave spotted a familiar figure standing before the gates, or rather, hovering.

"Xavier?" He looked at Miranda. "I'll head there for now. Can you take care of yourself?" He didn't sound derisive, after all, Miranda was too useful to be ignored.

"S-Sure..." she said, apparently worried over him - he wasn't at full health yet, his fight with the Noah Dies left him with severe wounds.

"Sheesh, calm down, Miranda," he waved his hand dismissively. "You think a loser like that can hurt me? I've got more power in my pinky toe than he's got in his full body!"

Miranda smiled weakly.

What's up with him, wondered Rave, speeding down to the Noah. He looked... different. He changed, but that was undeniably Xavier. Maybe his arm had something to do with the instant recognition.

((Consider this my traveling post and curse my procrastination. Z, you can meet Rave or not, but unless you escape, Rave is headed your way. And lame explanation for the recognition - I just noticed you changed Xavier's appearance, my sincerest apologies. You can have Rave act all surprised :). Miranda will arrive in 3 posts in the HQ and restore all Exorcists INSIDE it to full health and power))

The exorcist's lightning breached the projection plane, and shredded the small dimension to bits. Dies spat. That was the problem with those so-called "stable" dimensions. They were so easy to destroy.

Dies glanced around, noting the arrival of, most prominently, Xavier. However, more and more exorcists were flooding into the area. Soon, breaching the wall would become very difficult, if not impossible.

"Damn!"

He hurled the daggers at Jean, not bothering to aim - it was simply something to distract the exorcist. Dies leapt backwards, using a dimensional step to appear next to Kujaku, and plucking Rinne'tenshou from the akuma's hands.

The gate had already taken two deep slashes. There was a large gouge upwards, and a deep hole, piercing the gate. The only bastion of strength remaining in it's construction was the sideways grain.

Dies ran towards the gate, and Kujaku popped out in front of him, brushing the dirt down from himself. He was precisley between Dies and Jean.

The Noah, meanwhile, leapt towards the gate, and plunged Rinne'tenshou in. Purple energy flared as the sword plunged in, and Dies howled, sweeping it sideways. With a glitter, the quicksilver blade wiped itself free from the gate, leaving a deep cross-shaped gash covering the entire door. Grinning, Dies plunged his sword again, sending his power through it, and causing multiple dimensions to open up directly on the gate, with explosive effects.

The gate was now decimated, and Dies stepped forwards for one, final attack...

((The gate has taken (now) four attacks. Dies' upwards slash, a deep stab in the center, and a deep slash horizontally. It's also taken another stab, with an explosion right on top of the gate.))

((Lol, it's cool.))

Whispers traveling through the calm breeze passed through my ears, telling me of the arrival of someone who I shared a dark history with: Rave Pendragon.

Oh? He's here now is he? The last I've heard of him, he decided to quit the organization and act on his own accord. Seems like he's still attached to his master's strings after all. Poor marionette, however...

I looked down at the exorcist who completely ignored my presence while waiting for Rave to draw in closer for an attack. I could not determine what it was that she did to herself at the moment, but self-regeneration came as an obvious fact.

I suppose there's no use hiding it now... Rave, witness first hand the Noah of Bigotry's power.

"In my hands the creator's sword that causes eternal sleep, honor our pact and hear my command!"

The grounds beneath the exorcist's shook slightly before erupting into a fiery pillar spewing magma from the Earth's core burning everything in its path.

"ANIMATE EARTH!"

Rave noted that Xavier was preparing for offense, and as soon as he began speaking, Rave activated his Innocence. The giant cloud appeared and reformed into chains, lifting Jade up from harm. A platform formed beneath Rave and lifted him to face Xavier.

"Awww, you poor thing! Haven't your momma ever teach you not to attack ladies?"

The remaining cloud formed into swords that aimed at Xavier, though Rave hesitated with his attack. Xavier changed. His powers were no longer those of air, apparently. And that required intensive study first.

"So then, Bigot, shall we?"

The arrival of Petal-boy above him reminded Dies of the stinging in his arm. He glanced at it, to notice the black scar had spread down to the fingertips of his left hand, and stopped at the elbow.

The Noah snarled, barelling into the door, shattering what remained of the HQ's precious "Gate", as the wooden chunks fell around him, the protective enchantments decimated, and the way into the HQ wide open.

"Is this coming from a man who robbed the virginity of a pure 16 year old girl and ran away in fear of commitment? Oh come on Rave, I'm sure you could come up with something better to say to me after being out of touch for so long."

I was glad the exorcist was able to see past my changed appearance as well as excited to get this show on the road. Not only did I want to demonstrate the extent of my new found power, I wanted to see how Rave has changed over time. Flying next to me was a big leap forward for him and a sight for my sore eyes.

"No matter how much I try avoiding coming in contact with you, I find myself staring you in the eye. Haven't you grown bored of our battles? It'd be a nice change pace if you and I ended up fighting OTHER people you know."

Shrugging off my concerns about this battle, I raised my palm directing it at my opponent while muttering the spell's conjuring statement.

Rave burst out laughing. "FYI, that lady is perfectly safe where she is. But thanks to a certain someone, I turned into a mad murderer. Of course I needed to take a break, anyone needs a distance from the women to think clearly! Nice try, Noah." With that Rave flicked his fingers, moving Jade quickly away from the battlefield. The chain gently placed her far enough so that she won't be damaged.

Rave's arms tingled with excitement. He was fighting a worthy foe! Someone who would push him to his limits and far beyond. The cloud fluttered around them gently. "I would have been bored of fighting you, Noah, if you powers didn't change. So, your power is magic now? Or are you just playing Merlin The Bearded Gnome?"

With another flick of his wrist, he formed two wheels by his soles, formed stepping platforms to hover in the air. Grabbing a sword - a long zweihander - from the swords around him, he swung it once for practice and charged forward, slinking through the air at full speed.

"This party's gettin' crazy! Let's rock!"

((I hope the wheels don't count as stat-enhancing (since otherwise I'm pretty much grounded), because I form them as platforms beneath my feet to stand on))

((I was going to say that the ground is safe for us to tread on now that Malificent Harm has been cast, but it's fine either way :). That aside, you've been watching a lot of Devil May Cry game clips =P.))

"Merlin the Bearded Gnome..."

I stroked my chin in response to Rave's comment. Being of French origin, shaving came as a daily routine for me who never grew his beard. His comment, albeit admittedly humourous at the time, made me feel uncomfortable at the time.

Perhaps this is how everyone perceives me now that I'm "a mage". Damn stereotypes! Who am I to speak anyway? Oh, right, battle! Focus!

In the meantime, Rave materialized a couple of wheels by which he now moved on the surface of the ethereal, much like how I do. The fact that just everyone can float now made me feel that the trick has been abused to a whole new level.

""Party", monsieur, not "part". If my mother hasn't taught me etiquette, then yours must've made you skip speech."

Smiling slightly to myself, I called forth another spell of mine, this one however was meant to dish out damage to this man whose aura blasted out at me the moment he and I initiated speech. Slowly, I raised my hand and pointed my finger to the sky as I chanted the verse of my next spell.

"Fangs of winter, pierce the dragon's hide and howl at the radiant moon! Prismatic Glacier!"

An irregular enormous iceberg formed in a split second on top of our heads, falling down point first at my opponent. The sound it made as it crashed down to the ground drew attention of all of those who were in the area to where we stood. The ice, upon contact with the ground, melted immediately cooling the lava and making it safe for walking again. The fires caused by my previous spell were calmed upon contact with the scattered shards of the iceberg leaving nothing behind but the smell of ash in the vicinity.

Rave rolled his eyes at the Frenchman's comments. "For someone who's playing circus mage, you've got a bigger mouth than mine! And that, Xavier, ticks me off!" Noting the sudden cooling of the area and the sudden shadow atop him, Rave wasted no time in forming a solid ball of Innocence around him, blocking most of the damage, although he was still scraped here and there. "What, taking out the big guns already?" he asked nonchalantly, landing on his feet and dispersing the Innocence from beneath his feet, instead forming himself a nice pair of sleeves made from Innocence.

Xavier takes 3 damage (unavoidable).
Xavier's HP = 77

Ah, those pesky ethereal blades. I don't like them, not a single bit. Cutting past my face like that, now Road will insist on sticking band aids on my face. Ahhhh~

<A miniscule blade reflects a portion of the sun's rays.>

Hmm?

Found it, heh.

"Crush? Hardly. I just thought it was extremely unethical of you to do that, consider what is about to come as divine retribution for what it is you have done. Not to worry though, if it were the "old" me then I would've submitted you to some superior of yours in the Order to take care of this rattle you have caused. The "current" me however, is more benevolent, far more merciful than the "old" one. Surely you must prefer death over meeting that person - what was his name again? Oh right, Komui - am I right?"

Speaking this long with Rave gave me enough time to conjure the spell that will turn the tables for my fortune, not that they aren't already.

"Say... How good are you with medicine?"

A pause followed as a breeze passed in between us, just as my hair started to play in the wind, Rave came to a realization of what it is that I planned for him, but he did not waver at the thought of what was about to come.

"O' Ravaging tragedy, swirl around those who oppose thine path...!"

Yes, the pause was intentional. Had I chosen to cast the spell completely then I would've directed it completely at my enemy and given that his blades fill the air in between us, then he'll negate most if not all of the damage. The only way to guarntee that he'll be dealt damage is if both of us take it. The cyclones I created, turbulent and unstable due to my incomplete chant left him in a picky spot. He is now forced to either cancel his invocation or take the damage his blades and my spell would do collaboratively. There was no way out from this for either of us, but the ball is in his court for now.

"It's up to you Rave, hehe!" Said I as the wind's ferocity increased exponentially with the passage of time.

Damage: 26 (Xavier's spell) + 10 (Rave's innocence) = 36 to both Xavier and Rave. Only applicable if Rave chooses to take the shredding cyclone head on. Otherwise, both are dealt 0 damage and the innocence invocation is cancelled.

"I told you already, I don't like anyone with a bigger mouth than mine!" Xavier was casting another spell, and Rave was now faced with a difficult choice. Cancel the Innocence, or take the damage?

"Then it's option number three!" The sleeves made form Innocence reformed instantly into a pair of chains, and Rave jumped, using them to launch himself up into the air above the Innocence cloud, leaving Xavier to deal with his own home-made cyclone while Rave called his Innocence up.

"Now, you were asking how good I am with medicine? About good enough to leave you with a couple of stitches!" Now it was time for the offensive, though. He stayed his hand long enough.

The petals rose up and formed into hundreds of sword blades right below where Rave was standing, then rained down. At first it would seem as though it was a straightforward offensive blast. In reality, though...

The blades dispersed upon reaching the ground, and immediately formed into swords again, blasting at Xavier completely at random. Each blade dispersed either on right before hitting Xavier or while it was pressing to his skin, not causing much damage initially, but once again, things weren't as they seem.

"... And shed thine skin! Centrifugal Gale!"

The cyclone's now tempered and much more focused form proceeded towards Rave at the very instant his blades scraped against my flesh, engulfing Rave and concealing him in its eye. While entering the typhoon has not resulted in much damage to Rave, exiting it would be a far more challenging task.

Xavier's HP = 77-5-3 = 69

"Always quick to announce your victory against your superiors. Fool of an exorcist. With you trapped in here now you're left with one of two options, either stay here and remain out of harm's way or try to force your way out by diving head on into the walls of the typhoon. Of course, the first choice leaves you alive, which is boring to me, but inevitable at the same time. The second however, would probably crush your bones and leave you with severe injuries; of course, walking dead is another option, but I'll leave it at that for now. Don't want to be scaring you now."

Damage: 0 if Rave remains idle. 26 if Rave moves in towards the walls (damage cannot be cushioned), an extra 5 damage is added to the wall's damage for every turn Rave remains idle in the eye of the typhoon. At high altitudes, where the typhoon ceases to exist stormy clouds gather preparing for the strike of a severing lightning bolt. Rave may choose to remain idle while Xavier heads towards Dies & Co.

Nicholas spread his fingers.

"Jacques... I think I'm done with this silly game. I was saving this for later, but apparently I need to use it."

He dug his heels into the ground, sand and dirt accumulating to the side of his sole. Nicholas squatted down, his arms near his hips. Nicholas' eyes began to glow white and soon his pupils could not be discernible from his whites. The ground around him began to rise, and float in the air. Jacques looked on with great reserve. He attempted to move Nicholas' body with his ground powers, but Nicholas managed to keep his ground my forcing his body down in contrast to Jacques'.

Nicholas unstrained his body, he began to walk. Jacques tried to move Nicholas' body again, which did not work. The room began to creek and crack. Dust was falling from the ceiling.

"What are you doing?" Jacques asked.

"Leaving." Nicholas replied.

He pushed his hands forward, bricks of stone came off the walls and were sent flying towards Jacques. He veers left and right in order to avoid it. Using this as a distraction, Nicholas slams Jacques' body to the ground swiftly. He was pinned, as if glued to the floor, then Nicholas moved his arms and the ceiling shot down from above. It buried Jacques under much rubble, Nicholas used this opportunity to leave.

He snapped his fingers, opening a hole in the ground, to which Nicholas jumped into.

Jade, on the ground and watching the fight, saw that Xavier had apparently gained the upper hand, though the Innocence from the other Exorcist still moved int he area. So, she decided, she should keep Xavier here. She then lifted her hands and concentrated, casting a Soul Bind on Xavier. While the attack was not effective at all - it would barely hold the Noah for a minute - it would slow him down, which hopefully was what Rave needed.

[Soul Bind is now in effect, will hold Xavier for a limited time only (you can break through after one attack from Rave next post, if you want.]

Theme change: Super Public Enemy (http://www.supload.com/listen?s=3FRUOI1L3XWW)

Rave burst out laughing. "You are a fool, Xavier, and no longer worthy as my opponent! But I shall leave you with a mark to remember this devil. Here's a little something I discovered with the help from you!"

He lifted his right arm up, a soft glow emanating from it, and the Innocence reacted at once. The blades that were scraping against Xavier condensed into a single, powerful singular explosion of blades that smashed on and around Xavier, leaving a large crater in the ground.

[Damage to Xavier 15]

Then the glowing blades, now blue, rushed towards their master, and formed a sphere around the rushing winds, a solid glowing blue wall. The wall rushed in, closing up on Rave and the cyclones, but in the last instant it transformed into a multitude of weapons, and rushed in through the storm, forming against a sphere inside it, around Rave. His right hand glowing fiercely in blue, he made a fist from the metallic appendage and lifted it before his eyes, then when the wall was ready, he placed his other hand before his right, making an X before his face, then extended both hands out, pushing the wall suddenly and violently against the cyclones, creating enough of a leeway for him to jump through.

Landing lightly on his Innocence and landing on his feet after another jump, Rave created a sword from the Innocence while the rest of it formed a dome around them, creating a smaller playing field. The solid walls had glowed blue, and Rave's hand reflected the glow in a sparking steel glow.

"You will not forget this devil, Xavier. Enough with the foreplay, let's begin the main event!" With that, Rave dashed forward at Xavier, slashing quickly and effectively around Xavier's body.

((In case you're wondering how was Jade able to use Soul Bind despite your spell, it's because she was not in your area of effect - she was too far from them, and you didn't specify that your spell works in an "area of effect" cancel :). 'I really need to learn that, don't I?'

"I was telling you that all along."

As the rubble crashed, Jacques levitated the crosses out of his jacket, and they pierced the ground around him. He laid on the ground; Barely inside the dome. He had been in the air one moment, then was flung to the ground. He would have enjoyed seeing Xavier fight more, but all he could do in the meanwhile was watch him through the rubble, distorted images of what was happening. 'Summoning the elements via external power. The Dark he provided in each attack was different, moreso than I expected. Maybe we do have similar powers.'

The rocks flew backwards towards the gate. Jacques was sweating again, feeling tired. They piled up there, in an attempt to secure the gate more.

Finally, the shield retreated. Jacques flew towards Xavier again; he sat cross-legged, waiting for their duel to finish. He barely recognized Rave. The jewels on his hands began to resonate. 'Is it the arm? These were his originally...'

"You forgot about the other Noah?"

'I'm going to train my power first. Same for Constantine. I'm not quite ready.'

"Then why him?"

'Because, he's too much like me.'

"The water seeped into the ground, and caused it to be unstable, no?"

'That could be it. There was too much interference. I'll be keeping my other eye on Hei though.'

Jacques sat; the wind was calming. He pulled out his book, and began to write all he could about Xavier, for himself. He wrote it intermittent with various notes of his feelings of inadequacy.

'That battle with Nicholas crushed my pride ever so slightly. Rave and Hei fight on equal terms with the Noah, as do some of my other comrades. I'll have to seek power.'

"No, it will come to you."

The way into the fortress was open, and Dies cared little for the rocks that had piled up in a feeble effort to protect the entrance. He was far too focused on the pain in his left arm.

Rave's innocence was stuck inside the original wound, whirring like tiny swords, shredding Dies' left arm apart from the inside out. The pain was excruciating, and Kujaku attempted to apply numbing saliva once more. It helped numb the pain, but could not remove it completely. His entire left hand was black below the elbow.

So that was it... when his sword pierced my arm, it was blown apart by Scheiden Zero. But the effect of that meant the sword was able to disperse into my arm. But it couldn't have been intentional, he was out of it, i killed him, i saw him fall...

Yet here he is... fighting Xavier, no less.

Dies snarled. It was perfectly feasible that Rave had managed to survive, especially if that pesky woman had helped him. But why were his regenerative powers not destroying the innocence stuck inside his body? His entire left side was tingling slightly, though not feeling pain like his arm.

Kujaku grimaced upon Dies' shoulders, almost as if the Akuma felt Dies' pain.

"Damn it. Xavier, you better kill that bastard."

Dies ripped the arm from his long coat, and used it to tie up his arm, applying pressure directly around the wound. The pressure confined the pain to only the area around the original wound, and Dies was able to his hand without a crippling pain each time he moved.

What was worrying, however, was that the black scar was beggining to spread to above the elbow as the innocence sawed it's way through Dies' body.

The Noah drew his sword, sweeping the plain with his eyes, seeking a target.

((Somebody come for 1 on 1 fight. NO stats, you can fight no matter how weak you are. People not allowed: Jean (cause it's boring) Jaques (cause you're boring. :3) ))

((poopie :3))

Jean avoided the falling debris as the Noah destroyed the West Gate. One side of him was relieved the dimension using Noah moved on, for truth be told his lightning would never be a match- but the other side which forced him to engage him in battle out of desperation knew this couldn't be good.

Jean reached for his golem as he contacted any exorcists to urgently defend the Western portion of HQ. He then ran to the gate to help but was blocked by a small group of level 2 Akuma, who began to slash towards Jean fiercely.

Using his halberd to parry their attacks, the Akuma worked in groups, and successfully landed a hit to Jean. He couldn't simply block them all. Jean then began to spin and slash them all at once with a large swing.

Why do these missions have to be so annoying?

Hei's endgame music (http://www.esnips.com/doc/7461bbc6-73bf-449b-90d4-b8d4c33eb07c/18-a-song-of-storm-and-fire)

Things had gone about far enough. Hei was having difficulty keeping his own anger in check, the attempts to incite Leiko to brash maneuvers was slightly backfiring. Unfortunately, He had underestimated her a bit, however his own resolve was unshakable in the defense of his home.

From his position, he feels his punctured lungs reforming inside of his body, and he is able to breathe easily again.

Still kneeling down, he places his palm upon the earth and recites "Fire Seal, grant me sovereignty." The runic circle appears, though nothing comes from it.

Looking arrogant and superior as ever, Leiko is still cautious of Hei's traps.

"Out of moves already? Pity that." sneers Leiko as she advances to within a few meters of the kneeling exorcist. Paying no heed, Hei instead is as still as a statue.

"Well then, an end would be appropriate." Dashing forward and bringing down two of her legs aimed at the same spots she had pierced before, Leiko strikes.

Hei still does not move, as the spindly legs pierce him again.

"Exorcist, have you lost your mind?"

Finally looking up, Hei grins as blood trickles down the side of his mouth.

Sensing the danger, Leiko makes as if to jump back, yet to her surprise, Hei grabs one of her legs protruding from the side of his chest, and at this time almost a dozen Enrei's burst from the earth and coil around Leiko's legs, and her body.

"These won't cut it...wha?" She pauses as she notices that steam has begun to rise from the ground. Her bodily weight causes the ground to crumble beneath, and Hei's last attack is clear.

He has turned the earth beneath into a molten sludge with his heat, working beneath the surface.

Leiko looks in astonished surprise at the Exorcist, as he struggles to stand and face her.

"You will be pulled down as well, whether you command the flames or not, there is no way you will be safe from this."

In a low voice Hei answers "No, I won't be entirely safe. I wasn't from the beginning anyway. However I shall rise from this, perhaps you may do the same?" Hei chuckles at the end quietly.

The ground beneath them gives in as the two begin to sink, together, into the molten earth.

[Hei's hp -> 44 + 6 - 10 = 40]
[Damage to Leiko = 30]

((wanted to do something mildly interesting, you'll suffer additional damage getting out. Now I debate that nap >.>))

Martosu reached the West side of HQ with Mizaki. Mayhem was present everywhere with blood dripped off ruble to soak into the ground. Noah's that looked like giant spiders and crazed men with swords fought next to the ruined gate.

Mizaki turned to Martosu, "This makes the fight at the East Gate seem like nothing."

"True. But even if it's a lost fight we need to defend the HQ as long as possible."

They searched for an enemy to engage before anymore harm could come upon the gate. But they knew in their hearts it was a lost battle but they still attempted to preserver in the face of evil.

((Actually, the moment it crosses the boundaries of our fight area is the moment it dissipates, so in a sense I was never struck down by it at all. Also, I'm ending this.))

Xavier's HP = 69-15 = 54

"The moment you were forced to play your trump card, is the moment you lost Rave. Hot-headed as you are, you forget something of vital importance even though it was you who mentioned it at first. I am a sorcerer, one who commands nature for his own bidding, but enough talk for now."

I took off my coat slowly as I descended to the ground while chanting for my next spell. The gray in my eyes illuminated into a lighter shade of white as the energy I gathered in me made my body glow, illuminating the paths of the darkened forest.

"O blackness without beginning or end... One-eyed god imprisoned there, now
harken to my call! Soul Dome!"

Damage: 40 to Rave and Jade (which as far as I know should've been knocked out, but whatever), 20 to Xavier. (30 (max manifestation) + 10 (damage added to the manifestation = damage dealt to Xavier/2)).
Description: The attack is considered one of Xavier's ultimate spells and is hence the reason why it damages him as well as his targets. Xavier forms an ethereal dome that damages all that which possess a soul without discriminating between friend or foe. Blocking with shields, trees, or manifestation/innocences is impossible as none of those possess a soul. Escaping is only possible if target's Movement + Reaction Speed > Xavier's Attack + Movement Speed.

Rave's movement speed = 15
Rave's reaction speed = 11
Rave's total speed = 26

Jade's movement speed = 4
Jade's reaction speed = 3
Jade's total speed = 7

Xavier's movement speed = 10
Xavier's attack speed = 25
Xavier's total speed = 35

Both Jade's and Rave's speed requirements are below those of Xavier's, damage to both is inevitable.

Xavier's HP = 54-20 = 34

Letting out a sharp war cry as the spell consumed its power from me, I shut my eyes despite my unwavering desire to see Rave's soul burning to a crisp. The spell's range was increasing rapidly, engulfing the entire area in a brilliant white dome where damage to the soul was done, painlessly.

Spitting out some of my blood as a result of the multiple injuries that Rave has inflicted on my body, I looked upon the now fuming corpses of Rave and his friend whose name I did not catch. With any luck, the Order will find them both and give them the proper treatment they need, I on the other hand, need to catch up to my brothers and step into the gate. My job was to assist Nicholas and Constantine, but little has the Earl disclosed about their mission.

Recasting my teleportation spell once more, I walked into the enchanted ground without looking back again at the two exorcists who so fervently defended their cause.

Crescent...

Right after he managed to slash a level 2 akuma, Crescent saw a Noah broke through the gate, who then he recognized as Dies. Dashing toward the gate, Crescent shot his Blood Cage in front of it as he neared it, and turned to face Dies after a strong barrier had covered the whole gate.

Knowing the Noah fast react, Crescent summoned Venus to form a teleportation hole and shot 3 tornados into it. The tornados were sent to Dies in less than a second, three of them directed to the Noah's head and body.

((err... I don't know if I could post tomorrow.. hopes I can.. :) and sorry if I can't make it, Jio-san.. ))

Rexus.....

After clearing the HQ from some carnivore butterflies that came from the East Gate, Rexus rushed toward the Wst Gate as fast as he could.

'No more butterflies were coming from East Gate, maybe they manage to hold it outside.. Then I should be going to West Gate now..,' thought Rexus as he ran toward it.

As he appoarched the gate, he saw Crescent's Blood Cage was defending the already broken door. Running past it he saw Crescent was busied by some akumas, but before he could joined the boy, he himself got his customers already ( 3 level twos akuma).

"Let's play..," smiled the exorcist as he formed his gun from a drop of blood falling from his thumb and released a lot explosions around.

He finished them in no time, but another group of akumas had lined up around him, waiting for their chances to shoot the exorcist.

"Oh well...," sighed Rexus "Shower of light.."

The bullet shot by Rexus flew high in the sky and exploded there; it released a lot of lights that rains into the place where exorcist and Noah were battling, exploded whenever the lights touched up with somethings, damaging both Noah and the remaining akumas as they proceed.

-----------------------
((The lights will explode when they touched something, and they dealt 4 damage to all Noah and akuma in the place. You can avoid the lights if your speed is higher than Rexus's attacks speed or you have special ability, but since most of you are battling right now, so I think it's harder to avoid them. :) The lights won't effect exorcists.. ))

[Rexus attack speed : 8]

Jacques' jaw dropped. 'So that's the power of shadow...'

The pen fell out of his hands and dropped fifty meters to the ground. He pulled out another and wrote; the book had been filled with twenty pages devoted to Xavier, along with random comments which exemplified his self-pity.

"And that's why
