Personality: Calmed, disciplined, loyal and has a great sense of personal justice. Biography: His parents are from Japan, whom they left in order to escape assassins, trying to get family secrets from a rival family. In order to escape Kenshin’s parent took a boat out of Japan, hoping to get to the mainland, go south and if lucky, to flee and start a new life in another country. While on the trip from Thailand to Malaysia, Kenshin was born. Kenshin and his parents were able to go and live in Australia in the countryside. As time passed Kenshin was taught different kind of fighting style, especially Kenjutsu and the family’s secret style. However, when Kenshin was 15, a group of akuma attacked the place they lived. Even though most people, included Kenshin’s father and mother, tried to fight the monster, they were no match to them. As the akuma got ready to kill Kenshin, an unnamed Exorcist appeared and destroyed them. Only a few people survived. Keshin thanked the mysterious man and asked about those ‘’monster that killed my parents’’. The exorcist, believing he could be of use to the order, told Kenshin everything he knew, as well as the Order’s location. Thus Kenshin embarked into the long trip to the Black Order Headquarters. Innocence
Innocence Type: Equipment - Katana
Name:
Heavenly Nine-Headed Dragon (Tenshou Kyuutouryuu 天翔九頭龍) (Innocence)
Tenchu (天誅) (Katana)
Description: Unreleased, it takes the form of a katana with a grey edge, golden hilt, handle and sheath.
Abilities: This innocence has 9 ‘Roars’. Each roar has its own ability, and they may be used together.
Description: The sword increases in length, of the size of an average katana, and the edge changes to bright silver. In this state the sword can harm akumas of all levels.
Abilities:
1st Roar- “Dragon’s Breath”: A golden aura surrounds the sword, allowing Kenshin to shoot small energy blasts at opponents. The energy for this blasts come from the surroundings, and therefore its powers may change. Also its elemental type would change depending on the energy being used (if air is used, then it would be an air-type attack, same goes for water, earth, etc.)
2nd Roar - “Nest of Broken Eggs”: Kenshin summons a number of spiritual eggs forth, which soon after break, and small dragons are “born”. These dragons can attack the enemy from any direction at high speeds. They attack with their fangs, claws or tail.
3rd Roar - “Seiryū’s 100 Dragons force”: Kenshin slashes the air, where an opening to the spiritual world appears, which 100 light green-blue dragons come out from. These dragons are spirits, not physical, and they have the form of a Chinese dragon. These dragons are hard to destroy with physical attacks, magic being a better option. Even if dodged the dragons will not stop until they have reached their target. Once they’ve reached it, they will produce an explosion, damaging the opponent.
Description: Tenchuu gains a dragon's head at the beginning of the blade with the guard. Everything else, such as colour and size, remains the same.
Abilities: As well as still using the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Roar, Kenshin learns the 4th, 5th and 6th Roars in level 2 (The 4th, 5th and 6th Roars are now unlocked in level 1):
1st Roar - “Dragon’s Breath”: The power of this ability increases, and Kenshin can accumulate energy and save it in his sword to be used for a later time. He can only hold energy for 10 hours. After that he must either use the energy or release it.
2nd Roar - “Nest of Broken Eggs”: The dragons from these eggs are bigger than before, now of the size of a dog. They are stronger than faster than the previous version, and harder to destroy.
3rd Roar - “Seiryū’s 100 Dragons force”: The spiritual dragons are faster this time, making them harder to dodge. They can also evade other obstacles, but cannot pass through them. If necessary, Kenshin can take control of the dragon with his mind, making the dragons much deadlier than before. Kenshin can also use this technique in different ways:
Blue Cage: Kenshin stabs his sword into the ground and 100 portals are open along the ground, air and/or walls (if any) from which the spiritual dragons fly out. In a close space, the dragons attack the enemy from every angle and direction, making it almost impossible to evade/block. In open space, instead of attacking, the dragons will form a cage around a selected area, making it impossible to leave or enter the area unless Kenshin permits it. If a being tries to get out or enter, he will be receiving damage and, especially mortals could die. These dragons will not attack without breaking the cage.
Eye of the Storm: Kenshin stabs the ground, only this time the portals appear around Kenshin, and injuring any nearby enemies. The dragons will take the enemy high into the sky and then back to earth, clashing the enemy (ies) against the ground.
Death: Kenshin stabs the enemy, and immediately uses the 3rd Roar, making 100 dragons hit from within. If the enemy's remaining health is the same or lower than the damage from this attack (an NPC or with permission from player), the enemy will explode and die.
This level also possesses:
4th Roar - “Wings of Destiny”: Dragon's wings appear at Kenshin's back, allowing him to fly. Kenshin's is able to dodge ground attacks better than before, and can now reach air targets that before he couldn't.
5th Roar - “Heavenly Armor”: Dragon's scale appear on Kenshin's chest, back, arms and legs, forming light armor on him, boosting his defense against physical attacks. These scales will remain on Kenshin's body until he seals this ability.
6th Roar - “The Mirror's Reflect ": Kenshin creates a magic field around him, decreasing greatly the damage from any non-melee attacks, such as magic, and sends 25% of the attack's power back to the caster. The stronger the attack the more the Mirror will absorb.
Description: Tenchuu’s silver blade gains a golden touch to it. The sword also gets a little bigger, as well as the scabbard.
Abilities: Kenshin learns the 7th, 8th and 9th Roar, which can now be used in both Innocence level 1 and 2.
1st Roar - “Fafnir’s Dragon Breath”: Kenshin is now able to shoot stronger and bigger energy blasts than in the two previous levels. The blast takes the form of a dragon's head, who will breathe an energy ray from it's 'mouth', before attacking the opponent as a normal energly blast.
2nd Roar - “Kurtulmak’s Nest of Broken Eggs”: In level 3 Kenshin can not only summon small and medium size dragons, but also small dragonflies that are hard to detect, and dragons of the size of a horse, mainly used by Kenshin as transportation. These horse-sized dragons can carry up to two people each, and also shoot fireballs at the enemy.
3rd Roar - “Seiryū’s 1000 Dragons Force”: An upgraded version of Seiryū’s 100 Dragons Force, in which instead of 100 dragons, Kenshin conjures 1000 spiritual azure dragons. These dragons are smarter than their previous incarnations, and if needed Kenshin can take control of them, either with his mind or body. The dragons are also able to move through inanimate objects. They will explode when they make contact with their target.
Blue Cage: Kenshin stabs the ground or a wall, making a thousand portals to open, from which an azure dragon flies out from each portal. In a close space they will attack the enemy from all directions, with hardly any means of escape unless outside of the close space. In an open space, Kenshin can form a blue cage around anything he wishes. The more dragons are used the bigger the cage will be. The remaining dragons will float inside the blue cage as dust, preventing the enemy from seeing clearly, but Kenshin can see through it with no problems. If the cage’s walls are touched, either from the inside or outside, by an enemy then it will deal damage to him/her in the form of electricity. Kenshin can break the cage, making all the dragons to rushed towards the target, and exploding around it.
Eye of the Storm: Kenshin strikes Tenchuu on the ground, summoning the azure dragons around him. The dragons will attack anyone near Kenshin in a 25 meter-radius, but only dragons close to the enemy. The other dragons will fly ahead, forming a cloud of spiritual energy. Under the ‘eye’ Kenshin stands, while the dragons will start descending like lightning in the 25 meter-radius.
Death: Kenshin stabs the enemy, and immediately uses the 3rd Roar, making 1000 dragons hit from within. If the enemy's remaining health is the same or lower than the damage from this attack (an NPC or with permission from player), the enemy will explode and die.
4th Roar - “Slifer’s Wings of Destiny”: Kenshin grows golden red wings on his back, allowing him to fly higher and faster than in level 2.
5th Roar – “Glaedr’s Heavenly Armor”: Golden scales appear on Kenshin body, forming armor and protecting him from more powerful melee attacks. If the scales are damaged or destroyed, they will recover.
6th Roar – “Saphira’s Mirror Reflect”: This ability forms a force field around Kenshin that absorbs most of the strength of any non-melee attack. The stronger the attack the more this ability will absorb. Unlike in Innocence level 2, Saphira’s Mirror Reflect sends back 50% of the attack back to the caster instead of 25%.
7th Roar – “Yinglong’s Claw of Fury”: Qinglong’s Claw of Fury increases Tenchuu cutting power. When this ability is used Kenshin is able to cut through almost anything, including steel armor or shields. He can’t, however, cut through other sharp weapons such as a swords and axes.
8th Roar – “Io’s Blood Chain”: Io’s Blood Chain is Kenshin’s only healing technique. Kenshin cuts himself with Tenchuu and lets blood fall to the ground. When the blood makes contact with the ground, it turns into vapor, healing 25% of Kenshin’s current health, as well as closing any mortal wounds. It also cures Kenshin from the effects of poison or any other harmful substances (such as dizziness, sleep and paralysis), protecting him from such effects for 3 of Kenshin’s turns. Kenshin can only use this ability once every 6 turns.
9th Roar - "Draco's Blades of Honour": Draco’s Blades of Honor is one of the most useful abilities Tenshou Kyuutouryuu has. When Kenshin uses Draco’s Blades of Honor, a number of blades made of pure innocence (number of blades = half of Kenshin’s Innocence stat points) appear in the air. Kenshin can induce these blades to move independently and attack the enemy or form a crystal barrier around Kenshin, protecting him from most attacks (e.g. akuma’s bullets, energy blast, explosions, etc). Because the blades are made of pure innocence, they're quite resistant, but not inmune, against Innocence abilities (Weapons made of innocence will have the same effect as a normal weapon.)
Currently Kenshin can only form the crystal barrio and keep it in that form for a few minutes constantly. He can’t control all blades at once, but he can use one blades along with Tenchuu at the same time (Kenshin doesn’t actually grab the blade, but instead it will float in Kenshin’s left hand.)
Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu: Kenshin uses the Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu (飛天御剣流, Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū lit. Flying Heaven Honorable Sword Style) which he learned from his father. Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū's principles are based on utilizing godlike speed, or shinsoku, and precision to deal powerful blows that usually bring down foes with one shot. The swordsman must also be able to read techniques at an amazing pace as well as interpret emotions as a form of clairvoyance in order to accurately predict what an opponent will do. Combining those two elements with the speed and the precision allows Kenshin to subdue opponents before they even act. That is the power of Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū.
Ryusosen: Kenshin strikes his sword at the opponent at different parts of the body in quick succession.
Doryusen: Kenshin strikes the ground, sending rocks after the enemy.
Ryutsuisen: Kenshin jumps into the air, delivering a powerful blow from above by taking advantage if the height from the jump, and applying the force of the fall to the sword. . He can also send enemies back to the ground if they are hit in the air, adding some damage from the fall.
Ryushosen: Kenshin jumps, holding his sword with his left hand, and supporting the blade with his right, Kenshin slash the enemy, probably cutting a limb off if not defended well. It can also send enemies into the air if the flat of the sword is used.
Ryutsuishosen: A combination of Ryutsuisen and Ryushosen. Kenshin first jumps in the air, and uses the Ryutsuisen on the enemy. Then right after, Kenshin continues with the Ryushosen, sending the enemy into the air.
Ryukansen: Kenshin spins his body around, evading an enemy’s attack. Kenshin delivers a powerful counterattack due to the centrifugal force from the spinning, which launches the enemy to the direction he/she’s facing. If the blade is used against a human enemy, and it hits the neck it can prove fatal.
Ryukansen-Kogarashi: Instead of evading an enemy's attack, Kenshin perfoms this technique in front of him/her, hitting the enmy on the chin with Tenchuu, sending him to the air.
Ryukansen-Tsumuji: Kenshin charges the enemy, then evades the enemy's attack by jumping forwards and turning his body on the air. Then Kenshin hits the enmy as he comes near to him/her.
Ryukansen-Arashi: Kenshin jumps in front of the enemy, swining his sword downwards as he spins many times in the air vertically. After hitting the enemy a number of times, it finishes with Kenshin bringing Tenchuu down to the floor.
Ryukansen, Kogarashi-Tsumuji-Arashi combo: It starts off with Kogarashi, Kenshin hitting the enemy's face with the flat of the sword. Then he jumps forwards, turning around his body and hitting the enmy as he comes down from the air. Then Kenshin jumps, and uses Arashi on the enemy, finishing the 3-part combo.
Battoujutsu: By pressing the blade’s edge against the inside of the sheath, Kenshin draws the sword quickly, increasing the speed of his attack, giving the opponent no time to react.
Soryusen: Same as Battoujutsu, but instead of only the sword, Kenshin uses the sheath right after, for a 2-Hit combo.
Kuzuryusen: An improved version of the Ryusosen. Instead of attacking multiple times in quick succession, Kenshin hits 9 vital parts of the enemy, all at the same time, making blocking or evading almost impossible.
Ougi – Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki: Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu’s final technique. It consist on Kenshin using the Battoujutsu, but before drawing the sword he takes an extra step with his left foot, adding instantaneous acceleration and weight to the sword, reaching “beyond god-like speed”. This attack is so fast that can be successful even when the enemy’s strike has reached Kenshin.
Hitokiri Battousai: Kenshin experienced emotions he hasn’t before the attack on his hometown by akumas. Grief over the loss of his parents and friends. Anger towards himself due to his inability to protect them. And hate on those who destroyed his life, the akuma.
But those emotions did not belong to a calm and nice person as Kenshin, and his determination to find the Black Order, become stronger and destroy the akumas made his mind lock these emotions in the darkest corner of his soul.
And they came together, forming a being lusting for blood and revenge. The dark emotions from before, plus whenever Kenshin feels negative emotions helps this being become stronger. Its name is Hitokiri Battousai.
Hitokiri Battousai is a split personality of Kenshin’s. If Kenshin is the light, then Battousai is the darkness.
As a human, Battousai is much stronger than Kenshin, but this is not necessarily true as an exorcist, because of the fact that Innocence, as a tool given by God to the humans, would not obey a being made of darkness such as Battousai. But as Battousai gets stronger, Kenshin Innocence is starting to have no other choice but to bend to Battousai’s will.
Kenshin is able to use Battousai’s strength while still being the one in control. When this happens, Kenshin’s eyes change from violet to shiny dark blue. And when Battousai is the one in control, instead of blue eyes, Kenshin’s eyes become golden yellow.
