A city deep in the South of Europe, it has been plagued the last few years due to unknown reasons... The only lead the Exorcists have is that is supposedly plagued by a vampire or vampires...

As several of the townspeople have developed vampire-like attributes and then died mysteriously, the Black Order has now decided to send some Exorcists there to investigate and hopefully solve this mystery.

The suspects are obvious, Akuma and the Noah. But are they really the perpatraitors who are the cause of all this work? Only upon the arrival of the Exorcists will we be able to know the truth behind everything and maybe even foreshodow what's to come soon in the future...

"Everyone, we suspect that there may be an Innocence fragment that is the cause of all this. But this theory will only make sense if you find no Akuma or Noah in the area, which I hope there isn't..." the radio golem started to disconnect, "And also, check on the local priest Abel NightRoad, I believe that's his name... he should hold a lot of information concerning this case... and please be careful, there's rumors to be real vampires, that's all I have to say.."

The golem was blown away by the wind and was caught by Lavi just in time. "O, and Lavi! Make sure to tell the other to go straight to their next mission after this, they will need to meet the others soon.."

"Okay! Roger that Komui!" Lave grabbed the radio golem and went back to the team.

- Lavi will be accompanying the Exorcists and can be RPed with. He can fight the Vampires but not the Noah or the created Akuma Characters if they show up that is(mystery)

Ruth was sitting atop a nearby town's local church steeple, as she sang below the resonating sounds of the church bell.

Hush now my dear, don't say a word, the darkness comes, just sleep for good...

As the clock struck midnight, she let go of the Ravenous on her hand. Her untied hair blew with the wind as out of the darkness behind her swarms of the same red and black butterflies burst out the steeple, taking flight under the moonlight, off to their nightly feeding.

"I wonder who the real vampires here are..."

The town center, midnight

Abel walked out of the church, slightly slouching. He was a very tall man, easily 1.90m tall, with extremely long silvery white hair, that was tied in a horse-tail on the back of his head and spilled easily all the way down to his lower back. This was one of the many strange tings about Abel, another of them being his unbelievable appetite and constant hunger.

Yes, Abel Nightroad was not a usual priest. Slowly walking towards his house, which was located a few minutes' walk off to the left of the church, he wondered if he could catch some sleep. Lately, some townspeople were attacked during the early hours of the morning, and most all of them developed what one would call Vampire-characteristics.

Fangs, a strong desire for blood (strangely, not human - mostly bloody beef jerky and raw cow-meat, which were, coincidentally, Abel's favorite dishes) and apparently they had trouble remaining in the sun for longer than a few hours, which resulted in most of them exploding in flames in the middle of the day.

As usual, the townspeople turned to the church for help, and especially Abel, who was known to be a very kind and helpful priest. However, he could do nothing. Whatever was happening, whatever it was that hurt those people. Abel simply could not discern the source.

Suddenly he froze, something tingled in the back of his head, and that same feeling made him look to the very roof of the church.

Something was there.

Abel didn't even realize as the air around him rippled, his skin turning paler and his lips coloring in dark blue. His eyes began to glow red as his fangs slid between his lips.

Without so much as a word, Abel Nightroad jumped all the way to the roof, a feat no human - not even he, who was a strong person and who trained daily, believing that a healthy spirit lived in a healthy body - could accomplish.

And yet here he was. Led by instincts that came from somewhere within the darkest recesses of his mind, but so strong they were impossible to resist, Abel charged at the dark swarm of creatures descending on the town, and within moments tore a large gap in their dark cloud.

But they weren't his true target. His true target was a figure sitting on the roof.

His white hair standing flying wildly behind him, some of it sticking up like a crown on his head, Abel rammed into the figure, led by bloodlust and controlled by instinct.

((Kensei, you're attacked by Abel :p. The ball's back to your side, and no, this isn't the end of the arc yet, we need some Exorcists here, we'll see what we can do about it :)))

UGH!!!

Something incredibly fast charged itself towards Ruth, sending her flying to the other end of the tower. Ruth's eyes gave a piercing glare to whatever was coming after her.

The 'thing' had blood-red eyes, baring fangs under dark blue lips, and was dashing towards her in incredible speed. Vampires indeed.

Ruth shielded herself from his next tackle, which was strong enough to break a hole through the stone walls of the steeple. Ruth was sent falling to the ground, however her face wasn't fazed at all showing only a slight smile.

With a wave of her hand, the undamaged Ravenous butterflies gathered before her and covered her entire body. Little by little the butterflies seemed to disintegrate then vanish, along with Ruth herself. The vampire was unimpressed by the trick, as he dived down with claws apart down to the ground.

"My, my, quite the man with instinct," Ruth chuckled as she revealed herself in front of the vampire. "My Mithan's Robe's invisibility is useless against you," she continued as she lifted her left arm full of blood, which then started to regenerate.

Ruth then lifted her right arm up as she collected more of the Ravenous, wings dropping off as they formed a red and black sword. She then pointed her blade 'Sacrilege' towards the creature.

"Before we go, may I ask your name?"

My loins have never hurt more than now.

Riding on a horse all the way to southern Europe was fun... for the first hour or so. Worst part was that he decided to rush the trip and to get there as soon as he could.

He was almost there, as the night continued to spread across the sky, Leroy figured that he'd reach the targeted town by the time the sun would begin to rise...

Location: Somewhere south of Europe, about 10km from the target town.

Kimiko and Lavi went on carriage to the south of France first, where they took a train farther south, and then change into horses to reach the town where they were supposed to investigate. Komui told them that another exorcist left early, and that they would meet with him in the town.

"Lavi-san, when do you think we'll get there?" Kimiko asked as they jumped on to the horses.

"We should get there tomorrow morning, but we'll stop in a nearby town to rest. Is that okey, Kimiko-chan?~" Lavi replied, smiling at Kimiko to make her feel more secure. This was her first mission and he didn't want her to feel nervous, it could cause problems later on.

"Yeah that sounds, Lavi-san." Kimiko said, looking ahead.


Not long after they reached a town, where they rented a room in an INN and went to rest.

Abel said nothing, only extending his palm outwards. Several droplets of red blood began to flow from the damaged butterflies, and after a while became a long red scythe. The blunt end of the scythe ended in a corded vine with sharp thorns. The blade itself was extremely curved and sprouted several side blades.

Without any hesitation he charged again, swinging his scythe with unbelievable speed, trying to his the woman's chest. His wild attack was incredibly fast, but not uncontrolled - he was aiming to force her to spread her defenses wide and then bite her.

He knew his bite would hurt.

Taking it slow, Leroy began to see small spots of lights, probably coming from the village he intended to investigate. Although it was in sight, it was still a far bit to go.

Finding a nice tree, Leroy pitched a small portable tent and took a small nap, mainly because his horse needed the rest before he did.

((Why not, I"ll get to the town first and then you appear and introduce, then we go on investigating))

The next morning both Lavi and Kimiko woke up early. After paying for the rooms, both of them went outside, only to find that they're horses were missing.

"What on..." Lavi started to say, when both of them heard a loud noise, like a gun. Akuma! Kimiko thought, activating her innocence. The keychain she ahd changed into a silver-blade naginata. Lavi also activated his innocence, and instantly smacked an akuma with his hammer that was stupid enough to get too close to Lavi.

Kimiko didn't get behind either. Running on the direction of the noise, she found another akuma, which she slashed in pieces without much trouble. After finishing with the akumas, Lavi and Kimiko started walking to the town.

"The other Exorcists I presume?"

A kneeling Leroy asked while perched on the roof of a single-story shop next to the road that Lavi and Kimiko were walking through. He lowered his gun which was pointed at Lavi's head.

He climbed off, walking to the pair.

Jackson gave off a warm smile.

"Leroy Jackson. Nice to meet you."

[Kenken]

A man climbed off from a shop's roof. He was wearing some sort of cutdown of the exorcist uniform, Kimiko noticed.

"Leroy Jackson. Nice to meet you." The man said to Lavi and Kimiko, giving them a smile.

"I'm Lavi, and she's Kimiko Himura, and like you, this is her first mission." Lavi replied with Kimiko giving a low bow to Jackson.

"Alright then, so what's the plan?" Jackson asked. Lavi simply replied "We investigate."

((Ok I need a GM to tell us what we're doing cos I'm lost))

How rude. And annoying.

Using the Ravenous as shields to thwart off the unnamed man's bites, Ruth was growing more and more concerned about his bites draining of all the blood the butterflies have gathered, as their glow faded, dropping to the ground like- well flies.

Again, Ruth waved her hand as more Ravenous formed a floating wall before her, and knowing the vampire, he would attempt to strike at her luscious neck. The creature again charged head on, expecting to quench his thirst with more of the butterflies' blood. Ruth smiled.

Obsidian Tears.

Before the creature could get close to the wall of Ravenous, Ruth cut through her own shield with a large crescent black and crimson wave. The vampire was thrown back to the church steeple, blood coming out of his forehead. He licked the blood and began to let off a howling cry.

Vampires..

Ruth noticed his clergy outfit as he was in a fit of bloodlust. A priest?

Without warning the priest-vampire suddenly raced towards her with mouth open wide. Ruth did not notice him quick enough and was bitten in her wrist.

"ARGH! ANNOYING LEECH!"

Ruth fired a point-blank Obsidian Tears attack. The priest took a direct hit at the face, and now his whole face was being soaked in blood. Ruth was clearly displeased.

"Come closer. Let me shred each part of your body one by one and see how you like your blood to spill in the chapel!"

((Heh. I'll go ahead.))

"Hm. Investigate."

Lavi and Kimiko looked at Leroy.

"We could try getting information from that Nightroad bloke we were told about."

Leroy had a bad memory when it cames to names. He already forgot the girl's name. But she was a cute one, no doubt about that.

"Good thinking, Leroy. Let's go!" Lavi lead the three of them, apparently knowing where to go.

Leroy was slightly more doubtful.

((Someone else think of where we're going.))

[Undying]

Abel shrugged off the damage and slashed again with his scythe, now careful of the butterflies and absorbing the blood that covered his face. He missed with his attack on purpose, smashing into the ground instead. He ripped out the scythe at once, sending a slight shockwave across the dirt and making a crack appear at the feet of his nemesis.

With a flick of his wrist he caused an ethereal hand to appear from behind the woman, and grab her ankle, forcing her to fall. Raising his scythe up, he intended to deliver the final blow.

Lavi, Kimiko and Jackson started asking around to find out about the vampires. Most people told them the same thing, they didn't know anything and didn't want to know anything. However, an hour after Kimiko came across an old woman shopping.

"Excuse me, madam, do you know anything about vampires around here?" Kimiko asked.

"Vampires? Oh yes, there has been some attacks I heard." The woman said. "Are you here to investigate about that? Not many people ask about that."

"Err, yes we are." Kimiko replied. "So do you know anything?"

"The only thing I can tell you dear, is that some people believe a vampire is in fact someone in town, and that our priest, Abel NightRoad knows about the vampires... someone even said that he IS the vampire..." The woman said the last sentence just loud enough for Kimiko to hear her.

"Thank you very much." Kimko said, bowing. "I wish you a nice day." "Same to you, dear."

After meeting with Lavi and Jackson, Kimko told them what she found out. Then they decided to pay a visit to the priest before lunch.

ARGH!

Someone- some thing grabbed her ankle and dragged her down to the ground. Its claws dug into Ruth's ankle, grasping her tightly and at the same time pulling the rest of its body up.

Ruth slashed the hand's grip away and jumped up to a nearby roof.

An exact copy of the forsaken vampire crept up from the ground and hissed as it stretched its jaws open, thirsting for the woman. Soon, another hand broke through the ground as another clone started to rise.

This guy just gets more annoying with time...

Without haste Ruth fired off another Obsidian Tears attack at the second emerging clone, preventing the chance of more unnecessary pawns to dispose of. The first clone jumped up towards the roof and hissed at Ruth's face, going in for the kill.

Ruth leaned back as its bite just missed its target. Taking the small chance while its mouth was shut, Ruth slashed through its lips, its shoulders, then its right foot.

"Dream of Arrest."

Blood-red flowers blossomed from the wounds, as thorned vines sprouted out from beneath the surrounding skin and tiny roots made its way down to the roof, blindly searching for the ground beneath. The clone was immobilised, as it fruitlessly flailed its arms, trying to grab hold of the frowning woman.

"I don't need to bother with you," said Ruth, as she then walked back to the church, longing to end that vampire's pathetic excuse of a life.

Abel lifted his scythed, ready to attack again, when suddenly something like an electric shock exploded through his body, immobilizing him. Whatever it was, he realized that fighting was out of the question, so he jumped back, swirling the scythe and sending a rain of blood droplets on the woman. Each drop sharpened to razor-like edge, and their rain even left a few small slices on the stone walls of the Church.

The priest, however, vanished from sight.

The following morning, Abel's house near thr Church

"Father?" A woman named Maria knocked on his door, calling to him. He did not arrive for the morning mass, so the worried townspeople sent her to his home to call on him.

"I-I'm sorry Maria," said Abel weakly, slumped in his chair, "I am slightly sick today, so I cannot come to the church... ask Brother Gen to take care of things in my short absence."

Maria was honestly surprised. Abel almost never missed out on his duties, sick as though he may be, he never stopped, unless he simply could no longer move. This must be something serious, she surmised, but the thick wooden door would not budge, locked tightly from the inside. So she retreated, for now.

"I will... return later with food, Father," she said, slowly walking away. Abel placed his hand on his face.

He started to fear himself now. Last night... what happened last night? He only remembered a few flashes of something...

Tears rolled on his face. Was he the dreaded vampire?

The Church Steeple, Early Morning


Ruth growled as she found the maggot blood-sucker gone. Her body was covered with numerous cuts that hurt like hell, as she hissed the stinging pain away.

This blood attack. It stings more than normal. Could he have some Innocence power?

Ruth turned back to the writhing clone, continuously flailing as it tried to break free of the growing plants.

"It's useless. The roots are already ingrained in your system. As long as you have blood you can't break free."

Ruth approached the immobilised clone. "Well I could just take my frustrations out on you. Stress can be so bad for a girl you know," said Ruth as she deviously smiled and sliced the clone little by little, savoring each scream and hiss, draining the life out of its body before it turned to ash as the sun rose.

[Artemis]

The three Exorcists, when approaching the house that was told was Nightroad's home, saw a young women exist in a hurry.

Shrugging it off as simply a visit (in which it was), the trio knocked on the door, waiting to be allowed in.

"M-Maria? I would've thought you'd come back later."

"Not Maria, father. Though we'd like to talk."

The sound was faint coming from the inside, mainly because the door almost blocked all forms of sound trying to pass through.

"Who... who... are you then?"

"We're Exorcists. Just here for a friendly talk. May we come in?"

((Need a GM to speak for the priest, otherwise I'll be making up information. :)))

Abel stared at the door in horror. Exorcists? Of the Black Order? This was serious indeed, then. Nevertheless, his duty came first. He opened the door, trying to brighten his face as much as possible, and greeted the Exorcists with a faint smile.

"Greetings, gentlemen, my lady," he said, motioning them to come in. "Is there anything I can do for you?"

[Kenken]

"Greetings Father," Kimiko said, walking inside with Lavi and Leroy. "My name is Kimiko Himura and these are my companions Lavi and Leroy Jackson.", moving her head to each man as she said their names.

"We're here to investigate a rumor about a vampire roaming in these lands. Do you know anything about it, Father?" Kimiko finished.

[Undying]

Abel slouched slightly while pouring some warm tea for his guests. That was what he was afraid of. His suspicions, increased by his lack of memory of last night, were exactly the kind of thing that would cause him trouble.

"I... I do not know for certain. However, it appears the attacks are happening only at night, and only against specific people, though none of them have any link with one another. Johan, that was killed three nights ago, was the latest victim."

((Etc. etc., too lazy. RP him telling you about how the attacks mostly happened around the church and you guys get to discover the signs of the fight of the night, then Kensei needs to move that fat Noah of his and get things done kthx.))

[Artemis]

The three intently listened to the priest as he described other details he had come to know regarding the attacks. Though, Abel, still in doubt, kept the thought of last night in his mind, still thinking of what had truly happened.

After the small discussion and finishing off the tea, the three left, using their information to scout around the area of the attacks to see whether there was any remnants of whatever this vampire was.

((Someone finish off the investigation, please. Have to be off for a tiny bit, so yeah.))

[Kenken]

Kimiko looked around the Church for any clues, but she couldn't find anything. Then a broken tree caught her eye. The tree was quite damaged, as if it was hit, and it didn't seemed to be old. Informing the other two, Kimiko went into the forest.

They found more damaged trees and blood on the ground. A fight happened here. Kimiko thought. She was sure the other two were thinking the same thing.

"The blood isn't so old, maybe 6 or 10 hours." Jackson said. Lavi and Kimiko looked around, but they didn't find anything else.

"Well, a fight occured here, and unless the winner took the body somewhere else or ate it, we could conclude there was no winner." Kimiko

"Lets go back, and look around again. Let's try asking Abel if he heard anything last night.

[kensei]

Inside the chapel

Ruth, disguised in her light form stood among the hall of candles, staring at a statue of the Virgin Mary. Hearing the sound of footsteps, she quickly turned around to see a nun by the doorway.

"May I help you?" she asked.

"Oh, I seem to be lost. Do you know where I can find the Father of this chapel?" Ruth smiled, as the nun began to walk towards her.

The nun lit more candles and looked up to the statue of the Virgin Mary. "Unfortunately the Father is quite sick today. So sick in fact, that for the first time in his twenty years serving the parish, he is unable to do his duties here that he so loved."

"I'm sorry. Perhaps I could help?"

"Well I am going to bring food to him now," the nun turned back and smiled. "It would be great if you could help me in the kitchen."

"It would be my pleasure," Ruth slightly bowed as a smile couldn't be erased from her face. An evil smile? Actually, no.

"Thank you ma'am. I am Maria."

"And I am Ruth."

Maria began to lead Ruth out of the hall and turned left to the corner. "Such a lovely name."

[Nightvision]

A carriage arrived in front of the church and Mizaki stepped off. He looked around at his surroundings and towards the paper talking about the unknown innocence fragment.

"This must be the Abel's church."

He slowly sat in front of the entrance of the church to see if anything suspicious happens within the first few hours of his arrival.

Abel's house

Abel leaned back in his chair and stared a the table through his glasses. What had happened last night? How did he find himself in his home, in bed, without realizing it? He did not remember walking through the street. In fact, he remembered nothing between exiting the church and waking up in his bed, still fully clothed and groggy.

What happened? What? A sudden feeling of anger made him look up the window. It wasn't his anger; rather it was anger at something that was there... coming from something within him.

The Church

The Akuma Daffy was in a very sour mood. Recently evolved from his level 2, he wanted to be sent somewhere to have a lot of fun fighting. Instead, he was sent to help this Noah on her mission. Annoyed, he picked his teeth, when suddenly he noted the Exorcists sniffing around the church. Grinning to himself, he descended upon the unsuspecting foursome silently and menacingly.

His first order of business was to remove their fighting capabilities, which he did, firing a dozen Black Bullets at them.

"Take cover!!" Lavi shouted at the other three, as well as pushing Kimiko out of the bullet's way. Mizaki and Leroy were also able to take cover.

All four activated their innocence. Lavi glare at the akuma and realized that it was a level 3. "Guys, it's a level 3 akuma, but between all of us we should be able to take it down." EVeryone else nodded, and got ready to attack the akuma, who started to come down.

As Leroy and Mizaki got into positions, Kimiko and Lavi stood up and started attacking the akuma.

"Grow, grow, grow, grow!!" After making his hammer grow, Lavi jumped in the air, and smacked the akuma. Soon after Lavi used the the fire ban to attack the akuma with flames.

As Lavie was making his attack, Kimiko moved to the back of the akuma, and quickly jumped. Then..

"Venus Psynergy, Spire!" Kimiko made spires of earths appear in the air, which attacked the akuma right after Lavi's attack.

The quick movements of Lavi and Kimiko and their swift attacks was surprisingly faster than the Akuma's. Using this opportunity, Leroy jumped back, kneeling down in a firing wall position he learned in the Marines, used the sights and fired.

A streak of blue flashed through as the bullet raced through the wind and smashed into the air, despite the armour taking at least more than a quarter of the hit, the bullet's velocity managed to penetrate and hit the 'flesh' of the Akuma.

Target hit.

At that moment, Leroy heard a whistling and footsteps running.

"Huh?"

Another Exorcist, one that they never seen before, came up, with what looked like swords connected to his hands, leaped and used the opportunity of the shell shocked Akuma to strike him fairly on the chest.

He used the first blade and crashed it upon the shoulder blade in a vertical strike, doing nothing. The Akuma snorted and smirked at the attack's failure. Then with a swift movement, the mystery Exorcist jabbed upwards using his right hand and pierced through the army, though barely like Leroy's attack.

The Akuma swung, just missing the mystery Exorcist before the Exorcist jumped back, kneeling next to Leroy, his hands in a position to strike.

Daffy's armor absorbed the brunt of the attack, but he still felt the sting and grinned. He figured he might as well upgrade to his maximum power and just kill them.

Grinning, he fired several Dark Bullets at the Exorcists.

Lavi and Kimiko got hit by the bullet, but didn't got damaged by it. Instead both of them got suroundered by some sort of stais shield. When Lavi tried to attack, he couldn't.

"Kimiko-chan! It seems we cannot attack while inside it. I'll try breaking it." Lavi shouted to Kimiko, but saw her getting out of it, although it took a while.

"But it seems we can get out of it." Kimiko said, charging for another attack, soon followed by Lavi. The akuma shot more bullets at them, but LAvi deflected them with his ahmmer, allowing Kimiko to attack.

"Mercury Psynergy, Ice!" Spikes of ice appearing, and Kimiko jumped on two ofthem, which she used to move fast. While Lavi kept it distracted, Kimiko moved to the back of the Akuma.

"Mars Psynergy, Flare!" A wall of fire surroundered the akuma, and damaging it with fire. Buut Kimiko didn't let it end there.

"Beam!!" Kimiko shot a heat beam at the akuma, hitting it directly. As Kimiko did this Mizaki and Leroy...

Mizaki reacted quickly, he jumped right behind the Akuma and tried hitting his first blow. Knowing that his first hit was useless again he used his blade as a support to push himself to twist in the air and land another blow directly from above the Akuma.

[Artemis]

Mizaki charged, full speed, from the side, crashing his fiery blades upon the Akuma. The Akuma raised his arm, blocking the double attack.

The Akuma snorted, feeling superior.

Using this chance, Leroy fired his rifle, the bullet smashing the center of the Akuma's chest. He ran forward, and as the Akuma laid a statis field over Leroy, Mizaki sliced the side torso, leaving two searing wounds in place.

Mizaki pulled back, puffing after the short burst of high movements, slightly tired at the constant dodging and moving back and forward.

Leroy sprinted left, moving out of the statis field, though the field was following at the same pace. He constantly changed direction, managing to squeeze a shot out, but completely missing.

The Church Grounds

Daffy could not help but grin and laugh as the excitement of the battle made his body jitter. He held his hand above his face as a look of pure bloodlust took over his eyes.

He dived towards the ground and used the full force of gravity to maximise the force of his attack, as he slammed his fist to the ground, causing a shockwave to all the exorcists, even causing the church bell up the steeple to ring.

He then fired off another stasis field, encasing the one-eyed kid and girl.



The Church's Kitchen

The aromas of cinnamon, rosemary and thyme filled the whole room as Maria stirred through the pit carefully, offering Ruth a taste to see if she got the balance right.

"It's very tasty," Ruth smiled, as her lips tasted the delectable and tantalizing tastes of Maria's cooking. "I would love to take this recipe home, perhaps even my uncle would jump in delight."

Maria blushed and smiled out of humility. She poured the soup on a bowl and took the roast out of the woodfire oven. Ruth, deciding she should do her share, made hot tea and sliced some pieces of a loaf of bread. She suddenly stopped as she faintly heard the clamors of battle.

"Is something wrong Ruth?" questioned Maria, as she saw Ruth taken a back.

"Oh no, no, sorry, I just thought I heard something."

It's a good thing this church is so big. That foolish Uncle, why would he send an Akuma to disrupt everything?

Maria finally packed the food and wore a heartwarming smile on her face.

"Shall we go to the Father's house then?"

As the shock wave struck the ground, Mizaki fell backwards on his back. He looked up at the Akuma as it encased the two Exorcists. Thinking that it would take more then just the one of them to deeply damage this Level 3 Akuma. He needed to put everything he needed in his attacks. He focus most of his energy into both his blades and the glow around the blade brightened. The heat of the blade became so hot steam started to slowly emit from the blade as it came near to the ground. He quickly ran forward and jumped up, waving his left hand to slash the Akuma then he pushed himself towards the wall of the building beside him and kicked off again towards the Akuma hitting him three times in a row as he twisted in the air. He then quickly looked back at Leroy as he was falling and waited for him to finish it up.

Thanks to the ice spikes Kimiko was on, she was able to dodge the akuma's attack without problem. As the exorcist Mizaki attacked the akuma, Kimiko started gathering her strength for an all out attack. She would be using Fume to deal great damage to the akuma.

As teh akuma got hit and was sent backwards, she close in and slashed the akuma with her naginata, and after that she:

"Mars Psynergy, Fume!!" Kimiko sent a ray of fire from her naginata, which took the form of a serpertine beast, and consumed the akuma into fire. After her attack finished she retreated to rest for a while.

Leroy was badly hit, but rolled right, the statis field racing to his position, knowing he wouldn't be given enough time to react he thought of a plan.

"Lavi! Attack!"

"Okay!"

Lavi leaped at the Level 3 without hesitation, enlarging his hammer, smashing it upon the Akuma. The Akuma raise his palm, and resisted the attack.

Too easy.

Leroy, took his sights.

"Oi! Suzy!"

The Akuma turned his head at the odd comment. As his head turned a blinding blue flash streamed through the Akuma's head. Leroy lowered his gun, to see the work of his art. The Akuma didn't manage to prevent the bullet clearing through his head, leaving a hole where his forehead once was.

Dropping his arm, Lavi jumped back. The Akuma knelt down. It knew it was gone.

Losing it's strength, Leroy wanted to make sure. He stood up, lowered his eye level to the gun's sights. With three consecutive shots, Leroy punctured three more holes in the Akuma's chest.

The Akuma was still grinning, as pieces of his body were quickly fading into nothingness. It hissed and growled, seeming to gloat at the injured exorcists, as finally his cackling smile was the last portion to disintegrate.

"The curtain is closing."

In Front of the Nightroad Residence

Maria knocked again as she called the priest's name.

"Father Nightroad! Father Nightroad, can you hear me?"

Ruth stood behind Maria, holding the packed cuisine between her hands. She looked sideways, to see beautiful shrubs of roses, recently untended to.

The vampires must have only appeared recently. From what I heard from Maria, all the vampires she heard about disappeared into ashes shortly after acquiring their vampirish characteristics. Did the priest recently turn into one? No, he would have crumbled to dust by now, which probably means...

"Uhh Maria," Ruth tapped her on the shoulder, smiling, "Thank you for teaching me the recipe."

"O-of course, but wh- "

With a quick motion Ruth slammed Maria to the ground. Her face bleeding, she looked up and screamed in horror as Ruth's face turned into a darker complexion, her face morphing into a sinister smile as a horizontal line of crosses appeared on Ruth's forehead.

"I appreciate what you done, now I think it's best you don't get to see what's going to happen soon," grinned Ruth as she crouched down to Maria, forming her sword Sacrilege in her right hand. "Don't worry, I know you'll find peace in Heaven."

"Y-You're ruthless!!"

"No dear. Just Ruth."

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

The sounds of birds madly darting echoed the forests, as Ruth stepped out of the house, stepping over the crushed door and stopping for a second to glance at the fresh grave under the rose bush.

"He isn't here...."

The Chapel Gates

His heart pounded furiously against his chest. Father Abel held his body against the wall as another wave of pain surged through his body.

What... is happening?

Something seemed to pull Abel Nightroad out from his sickbed as he walked to the front of the parish. Each step, a strong feeling resonated in his body. For a slight second, the feeling of disturbance and uneasiness was relinquished in his heart, only to be followed by a stronger pain.

Was it the Lord? Was it the same occurence that caused him to forget last night? He almost collapsed when a red-haired lad with an eyepatch caught him just before he landed to the ground.

"Are you all right there father?" asked Lavi.

((Basically the exorcists meet up again with the Father.))

[Kenken]

"Are you all right there father?" asked Lavi.

Kimiko and the others came behind him. Kimiko saw Abel, the priest they met not long ago, in Lavi's arm moving around as in pain.

"I'm...not fee....ling well." Abel said, looking at the exorcists.

"Tell us what's wrong! And is there anything we can help?" Kimiko asked, clearly worries as she looked at the priest.

"Something is... stirring inside me." Abel said, getting more and more exhausted. "It's pulling me.."

"Pulling you where?!" Lavi asked, shaking the priest.

Accompanied by a parade of the Ravenous, Ruth marched to the parish, humming as she sought to find the vampire of last night. The red markings of the butterflies glowed eerily after feeding off the nun Maria, as well as other villagers on the way.

"Ahh...there you are, Abel Nightroad."

"Ahh...there you are, Abel Nightroad."

That woman. Why does she make my blood boil?

Abel's whole body trembled violently, as his hair began to turn white. His teeth slowly grew into fangs, as the priest hissed and growled at the sight of the smiling woman. He craved for blood. Not the exorcists, her blood.

The woman's smile grew even wider, as she tossed a basket of food in front of the priest. "Recognise that cooking? That added touch of tender love and rosemary?"

"M-Maria..." the vampire growled.

Lavi couldn't hold the priest much longer. In a violent outburst Abel Nightroad lashed out towards the woman, with fangs open and mouth wide, he wanted her dead.

The woman only giggled as she leaped back two storeys high below the church bell.

"Does this take you back?" she taunted, forming her blade 'Sacrilege' in her right hand, as she beckoned the vampire to use his superhuman jump towards her.

"M-Maria..."

The hunt.....resumes...

Mizaki hurried looked at the others as if to tell them to stop Abel from fighting. He then followed Abel's pursue at Ruth. Thinking to himself why there was humans included on the enemies side.

The Top of the Church Steeple

Ruth:

For someone who had injured his face last night, the vampire was pretty fast, and seemed to have more energy than before.

"That's the spirit!" Ruth smiled as she let loose another crescent wave from her sword. This time Nightroad dodged it easily as he started to recognise Ruth's pattern of attacks.

Tch.

The vampired dive towards Ruth and pinned her into a roof, his claws digging into her arms as he reached for neck. Ruth struggled and managed top kick him away, sending him flying to the other side, as the scratches in her arms healed.

Ruth walked towards the vampire, attempting to finish him off, as she released another swarm of her Ravenous butterflies, but stopped momentarily as she saw exorcists running towards the roof below.

This will take care of them.

With a flick of her hand, the swarm of blood-sucking butterflies flew towards the exorcists, craving for another meal.

[Kenken]

Kimiko saw a group of butterflies flying towards them. They look ugly... Kimiko thought, as the butterflies came closer and closer. Wasting no time, she attacked.

"Mars Psynergy, Flare!" A wall of fire appeared in fron of her, stopping the butterflies and burning them to death.

"Guys, Abel could be an exorcists, just like Kro-chan." Lavi said to the others. "And that woman...is a noah."

"Then, we must help Abel!!" Kimiko said, running towards the woman before ABel attack her again.

"Mercury Psynergy, Cool!" Kimiko sent a freezing cold air at the noah, freezing her legs. Won't last much, but just enough... Kimiko said in her mind.

She got close to the noah, and spinning around, Kimiko said:

"Ryukansen!!" Kimiko slashed the noah's side, before jumping back letting Abel to attack.

[Nightvision]

Mizaki quickly dashed forward and lounged towards the Noah. He quickly activated his right hand's blade and spun his blade at the Noah's weapon on purpose, giving it more force on his swing and made her weapon not facing anyone.

"Keeping Mr. Nightgown safe is top priority." He said to the man with the big hammer and the eye patch.

Just then he jumped back and kept his distance again. He is already breathing heavily from his last battle

Ruth couldn't keep her smile in.

"Ooohh....Well this is a bit unfair one would think?" she said as she released another wave of energy from her swords, targeting her feet. The exorcists jumped back to avoid the attack, which managed to slice right through the ice, and also damaged Ruth's feet which instantly began to heal.

"Die Noah!!" a furious Lavi jumped from behind, as he held his hammer as tight as he could to attack the Noah.

"Just stay still there boy," as Ruth slashed Lavi's shoulders and knees, causing him to drop to the ground helplessly. From where her blade cut Lavi, blood-red flowers sprouted, as their roots ingrained themselves to the ground, immobilising Lavi even further. "Just sit there and take my Dream of Arrest."

Ruth then turned to the exorcists. She began to smile, as her blonde hair turned black and grew longer. Her fingers resembled claws, as thin, bony demon wings sprouted from her back. Her dress changed into a strapped sleeveless outfit as she stared at the exorcists with her ghostly white eyes.

"I think we should make things more fun," she chuckled in a haunting voice, as she summoned a Level 1 Akuma and forced her hand into its head.

"Infestation."

The Akuma's body soon became riddled with maggots, as dark energy surrounded the being. It then began to shoot portions of its infested flesh towards the group as it screeched in pain.

"Now, to kill that Father," Ruth chuckled as she walked back to where the priest was.

Kimiko jumped out of the way of the first attack, but the explosion caught her injuring her a bit.

Kimiko quickly regained her balance from the explosion, and attack the level 1 akuma with her naginata, slashing from different directions with Ryusosen.

After finishing her attack, and taking advanatge that the noah was more busy with Abel than her, Kimiko used Change to transform her naginata into a medium canon.

"Jupiter Psynergy, Plasma!!" The cannon shot an iron ball, hitting the akuma with full force. Then, not long after lightning bolts started coming from the heavens, hitting the akuma.

[Damage dealt: 40-4(cannon ball)-7(Plasma)=29]

After her attacked finished Kimiko transform the cannon into her naginata once again, and started moving away from the akuma, while moving around it at the same time.

Mizaki had no choice but to fight along side with Kimiko. Right after she attacked the akuma he ran right beneath the Akuma and kicked upward then slashed the bottom as it slowly headd up giving it a direct hit.

Damage 2 Kick + 6 slash = 8

The church grounds were being desecrated by the rotten flesh. Maggots came out of the infested ammo, as the exorcists aimed to dodge the attacks.

Ruth loved the sight. She opened her mouth and let an ear-piercing scream. Her Withering Surface attack caused every one to stop their moments, as the sounds of her scream felt like their ears were bleeding. Even the vampire couldn't take her song.

As soon as the exorcists dropped helplessly the Akuma fired off its Metal Massacre attacks. Instead of its rotting infested flesh as the ammo, now it was the metal portions of its body being fired, aiming towards the girl.

Mizaki took in damage. He was truly at his limits.

"I'll keep Abel safe first!"

He quickly turned around and grabbed Abel by the waist and pulled him out of there with the last of his strength.

Sh*t. Why can't I be more helpful? Why can't I do more!?

A loud crack echoed, and a bright line shone through the air, starting at a rifle's barrel and ending in the Akuma's body.

It was damaged, the Akuma, but not finished off. Just a bit more and it would be destroyed entirely.

Leroy moved darted around, in an attempt to find some form of cover. His weapon was useless as a defensive equipment, meaning he was always open for attack. He did have an average quickness and reaction to him, making it easier, but still dangerous nevertheless.

"Mizaki. Be careful. Stay low."

Leroy fired off a few blind shots to keep the Akuma occupied while Mizaki attempted to take Abel out of the battlefield. None of the shots managed to hit the Akuma, but the blind covering fire worked fairly well.

Mizaki. Do your part, and I'll do mine.

Leroy looked at Kimiko, she looked okay at the moment, but was slowly degrading in health and strength.

Martosu was sitting on the train, tiwdeling his thumbs.

Kimiko stopped in her tracks after the noah used a ear-piercing scream. KImiko dfropped to the floor, with her hands on her ears. Not long after the akuma started shooting at her. Kimiko quickly made a wall of earth appear, to protect her from the bullets. Then she quickly created an air sphere around her head, to protect her from the scream. She grabbed her naginata and jumped back as the bullets made contact with the wall.

Kimiko stood up and charged the akuma with her naginata and slash it with all her strength, throwing the akuma a few meters away from her.

"Venus PSynergy, Growth!!" Kimiko made some plants to grow from the ground, grabbing the akuma and making it clashed against the ground, where it died.

Mizaki was able to make Abel loosen up a bit but not completely. As he grabbed Abel tightly he struggles even more. But he managed to get him behind a wall that was barely near the battle. He looked directly into Abels eyes to see if he was in control.

An explosion of maggots rained down on the battlefield at the death of the Infested Akuma.

"Oh?" Ruth suddenly stopped as she saw one of the exorcists take the vampire and heard the Akuma being destroyed. She then sighed and flew towards the Father with claws extended, but stopped as she saw the weak Exorcist trying to defend him.

"Look, I don't want to kill you okay?" Ruth pleaded as she hovered above the pathetic figure, "Hand him over, he is mine. Once I'm done with him, I'll get back to finishing you maggots."

The exorcist only gave her an evil eye, which confounded Ruth. She was about to finish him off when something flew towards Ruth.

Mizaki tried to react as fast as he could and put Abel's hands on his shoulders then ran from that area. I know he can't fight the Noah with his current state, especially Abel as his weakness in a battle. He turned to a corner and hoped that the other Exorcists would slow down the Noah for a bit longer.

When the train stopped, Martosu knew the journey wasn't over. He had been informed he would be given a horse after the train could go no further.

When he stepped out of the train, he didn't notice the perfect yellow flowers at first. But when he got on top of his horse he saw them.

Who knew being part of the Black Order would make my allergies act up at every turn? Hmm, I really need to get that taken care of...

He set off on his horse thru the field of flowers.

Right now, the most dangerous enemy I have faced in the Black Order has been the vegetation.

He's been noticed. Hm.

Leroy peered from his cover of a fairly large rock, starting to fire at the Noah's position, to get her attention. Again, using blind cover fire, he knew that he wouldn't hit her at all, but gaining her attention is all he wanted to do.

Leroy wasn't one of the sturdiest Exorcists, and figured that he would be easily finished off by the Noah, knowing his status and level as an Exorcist all too well.

What Ruth noticed flying towards her was Kimiko, with naginata in hands, and clrealy saying with her eyes: I'm going to kill you.

Ruth was surprised by the way Kimiko got so close, and so fast, that she didn't noticed till now. She wasn't afraid, but she was stunt, for the fact that a human have sneaked on her this close and fast.

Kimiko didn't have anything planned. She saw Ruth shifting her attention, making an opening for her, and she instincstively took it. She ran as fast as she could, and attacked as strong as she could.

She stabbed Ruth in the upper left of the chest with her naginata before she could do anything to Kimiko. They stayed there, silent and motionless for a few seconds. Kimiko broke the silence.

"You noah's may be hard to kill, even invincible, but you still got a human body which I can cut up and burn!"

Just as she finished saying this, Kimiko used the Mars Psynergy spell Flare. The starting point of the spell was the blade of the naginata, which was currently in Ruth's chest. Burning her from the inside, Kimiko drove the naginata downwards, slashing and burning Ruth's inside. Once the naginata was free she hit Ruth with the end of the Naginata's staff, sending her across the ground a few meters.

The trio of Akuma, level 2's, were not surprised to see the Noah in trouble. The Earl, though indirectly, hinted that she's weak. So, they followed their order to help.

Ability: Seedlings: sends out a seed that grows in the ground almost instantly, bursting out as a smaller version of this Akuma (he looks like a pot plant, but the plant is withered and instead of a flower the Akuma shows its face). Attack for 5, has five health (you can probably squash those by stepping on them).

Power: Machine gun: turns his head into a machine gun and fire bullets in a straight line at high speeds. Easy to dodge and he's kinda stupid, too.

He said while flicking a wave-like hand gesture.

Without notice, Leroy ran forward, gaining the attention of his target, then started circling. The not-so-bright Akuma, started walking around in circles, trying to catch up.

After doing almost a 180 degree run around the Akuma, Leroy stopped. The Akuma finally caught up.

"GOT YOU, EXORCIST!"

"Unlikely."

Leroy was knelt down, his eye aligned with his sights. Pulling back the trigger was too easy. The bullet crashed into the Akuma's head, not killing him unfortunately, but making him stumble backwards.

"Repeat?"

Leroy commented then fired into it's belly one more time, before the Akuma regained his balance and started to fire back.

Hm. Fast bullets. Better to take cover than running.

Leroy moved from cover to cover. Occasionally having to sprint as the Akuma destroyed some of the rocks and other materials Leroy was hiding behind.

Leroy waited for the moment he could give an accurate shot back toward the enemy.

Abel

"Leave me be, kid!" Abel said to Mizuki, although Mizuki kept running away from the Church as fast as he could...which wasn't much, him being almost beat up in the first place. Abel couldn't take it any longer, his blood felt like it was boiling. It cried for the noah's blood, and Abel couldn't control it anymore. Taking advantage of the fact that Mizuki was almost beat up, Abel pushed his arms away, then kick him in the guts and left him on the floor, sleeping.

"Sleep for a while, kid, and don't you dare get in my way again!!" With this said, Abel rushed back to the Church grounds.



Kimiko

3 level 2 akumas appeared in the battlefield before Kimiko could deal more damage to Ruth. Even though they were 3, they looked stupid. Even so, they still proved a hard challenge to her current condition.

While the akumas looked around, looking for their enemy, Kimiko attacked the more stupid-looking one(Akuma 1) and did the same thing as she did to the noah, stabbing it with the naginata, and burning it from the inside with Flare. While she did this, Leroy took another akuma(akuma 2) away from her.

[Akuma 1 Health: 30-11=19]

Kimiko quickly jumped backwards, not knowing what the other one(akuma3) would do. It quickly turned around and, adding all his power (14) into his speed(5; total 19) quickly chased Kimiko, sending a kick after her.

But the kick was blocked by Lavi's hammer, who managed to wake up just in time to prevent Kimiko getting kicked. Kimiko, now free of taking advantage of A1's current condition, left A3 to Lavi.

Kimiko run and transformed her naginata into a kodachi. With this, she started slashing the akuma, giving it many wounds.

[A1 Health: 19-6= 13]

However, Kimiko's attacked made the akuma to regain conciousness, and sent out a seed, which grew into a miniature version of the akuma. This miniature quickly tackled Kimiko. Kimiko transformed the kodachi into a baseball bat, and hit the mini-akuma into a tree, killing.

As Kimiko was doing this, A1 charged Kimiko, which the intention of tackling her. Kimiko made a wall of earth stick out of the ground, but since she didn't have much time, the wall was rather weak, which was destroyed by the akuma. Fortunatle it absorbed most of the power of the attack, and damaged the akuma back.

Kimiko was pushed back, but quickly regained her balance, and while jumping, she made the bat back into her naginata. With the power from the fall, Kimiko slashed the akuma, injuring it more than she would have with a normal slash. However she did not let it end there. Using the Jupiter Psynergy spell, Plasma, she hit the akuma with thunder bolts from the sky, killing it.

Kimiko turned around, intending to help Labi, to only see the level two defeat the already weakened Lavi.



Lavi - After he saved Kimiko

Kimiko have left to fight A1, so Lavi was left with fighting A3, which proved to be much faster than he expected, much faster than Kimiko.

When A3 charged Lavi, trying to kick it, Lavi used the Fire Seal to make a shield of fire, preventing A3 from coming closer. After it stopped, Lavi sent the fire serpent after the Akuma. Because of the suddent stop it had to do, A3 did not have much time to dodge the serpent. But due to Lavi's previous fight, which have left him weak, the fire seal did not do much damage.

A3 quickly recovered, and run after Lavi, who couldn't run fast enough. A3 sent a kick straight to Lavi's face, throwing him into the ground. Then A3 tried to crush Lavi's head with his food, but Lavi made his hammer extent, hitting the akuma in the chest and throwing him backwards.

Both combatants remained like this for a while, hitting one another, until after Lavi used the heaven seal, A3 took advantage of Lavi stopping to catch his breath, hitting him ahrd in the guts, knocking him out.

It was then that Kimiko appeared, after finished with A1. A3 smiled, looking at the cute girl in front of him.

Abel

When Abel finally reached the church grounds, he saw Ruth in the ground, recovering from a wound, one black haired girl defeating one of the akumas, one of the exorcists fighting another akuma, and the eye-paych boy getting knock out by the third akuma.

The third akuma launched towards the female exorcist, but Abel was able to save her. Grabbing the akuma's legs with his hand, he crushed it and threw it to the ground, then he kicked it away.

The akuma, after losing his leg, couldn't move as fast anymore. Instead it hoped in one leg, trying to escape. But Abel had another plans.

Quickly appearing in front of A3, Abel grabbed the akuma's body with his arm, and started crushing it. Then he bite him in the neck, injecting his blood into the akuma. Then hee dropped into the ground, and went to help the female exorcist, before attacking Ruth.

Ruth pushed herself up, as she growled at the female exorcist. Looking at the addition of the akumas, she dusted herself off and frowned.

Tch..Uncle actually sent backup? How saddening, he doesn't trust me? Ah well..

As she cracked her neck, she instantly flew towards the puny girl and slashed her across the chest with her claws, causing the pitiful exorcist to drop to the ground.

"You fight a good fight honey, but you're way too out of your league for me."

Suddenly a speedy shadow caught the falling exorcist and placed her in the ground gently.

"Ah? Come to play again Father?"

Ruth's eye squinted as the Father seemed a bit strange. His wounds...healed?

"Don't tell me you can regenerate?"

Without answering the vampired leaped towards her and tackled her across the roof.

Everyone was playing their part, so Leroy decided to continue to do his. He totally forgot about his fellow Exorcists and started to solely concentrate on the Akuma he was fighting.

He knew that the Akuma wasn't too fast. But his bullets were.
He didn't seem to agile or quick.

Leroy shot off a dozen rounds as cover fire.

"HA HA HA! THEY ALL MISSED ME!"

The Akuma was still dodging while shouting it.

Fool.

Leroy leaped out of the hiding spot, strafing left, letting loose a entire round upon his enemy. Since he had to keep on moving, his aim was only so good, and only three shots reached its target.

The Akuma yelped. It didn't seem like a painful one. More of a distressed, Leroy reckoned.

He noticed the wounds he gave. One two managed to get the Akuma's torso, the intended target and one strayed into its right leg.

Not bad.

"BULLETS AS WELL!? SAME HERE! NOW DIE!"

The Akuma was quick to bring out his extremely fast firing gun which seemed to replace his head. Leroy jumped out, changing cover again when he noticed that Kimiko was being attacked.

"Noah, pay attention."

His musket cracked a shot, straight into the Noah's shoulder.

Even better.

Leroy sprinted, running to another cover, waiting to get a clear shot.

Martosu was almost at his destination and began to encourage his horse to move faster. But when a sudden Akuma gunshot hit the ground seven feet away from him, his horse rose up in fright and Martosu was dumped onto the ground.

The horse ran until he was out of site.
Good, a horse has no natural place in a fight.

Martosu turned toward the Akuma and saw that there was only one.

Disposing of this Akuma shouldn't take long.

Martosu grasped his Ssang Do and pulled them off his back.

"Innocence, activate."

With the Innocence making the blades hum with electricity, Martosu aimed for the head of the Akuma nearest him. The Akuma wasn't able to completely dodge the attack, but Martosu's left blade ended up in the Akuma's side rather then the head. Martosu forced the handle downward, making the blade swing upward, until the end of the blade was aligned with the head. The electricity pulsed off the end of the blade and shot straight through the head of the Akuma, making it explode. Martosu lept away from the explosion and deactivated the Innocence.

Replacing the Ssang Do, Martosu had no idea where his horse ran off to.

Now where is that horse so we can continue on our way...

But after ten minutes he gave up on his search and started to run toward the town he could see in the distance.

If this isn't where I'm supposed to go then I have no clue.

As he got closer he heard the sounds of battle.

So this really is it. How am I going to find Leroy and Mizaki in this mess?

"Leroy, Mizaki where are you!?"

[Ruth: 35/50, Regeneration: 42/50]

"Uhh..there's too many things going on, it's like a cluttered pig pen," groaned the Noah as the wound in her chest began to heal. She eyed the musketeer below as she noticed the vampire growling and charging at her at full speed.

Ruth easily dodge the full-on attack as she slashed the vampire's back with such force that he crashed to where the musketeer exorcist was.

"I can't delay this anymore," Ruth frowned, "It's time to finish things once and for all!"

Her eyes and claws began to glow in an unnatural red aura, as her claws seemed to grow longer, as she hissed above the church roof. Her regenerating wounds have come to a complete stop, as her hair began to move like hissing snakes.

The exorcist prepared to fire another bullet but was shocked as he instantly a demonic-faced Ruth in front of his astonished face.

"Boo."

Mizuki groaned as he tried to stand back up. He put his hands on the sore area where Abel hit him. Just then he remembered. Mizaki quickly jumped up and ran towards the direction where the battlefield was. He stood there staring at the Noah transformed into her 2nd manifestation form. He jumped in the battle and activated his innocence and went towards the Noah striking her in the stomach. He could tell that his attack barely did anything.

"What are you?.."

"What are you?" the stunned exorcist asked, his hands shaking as he barely did any damage.

Ruth's eyes gleam like fire-red rubies as she slashed the exorcists chest as a reply.

"I have no time to answer stupid questions, maggot."

She then turned to the musketeer and stabbed him with all five fingers in his chest, as she cackled at the sight of him dropping to the ground. She then hovered above Abel, pulling his hair as his fangs' full length were revealed.

"I hate you vampires," Ruth hissed as she slashed across his face, screaming and growling in pain.

As Martosu was walking thru the town trying to find Leroy and Mizaki, he kept running into dead ends. But as he turned the corner he finally found Leroy and Mizuki fighting a Noah.

Well, at least I found you both..

"Hey, would you two want to get out of here any time soon or are you going to maim yourself against that hideous thing? This mission looks to be a bust.."

Martosu pulled his Ssang Do off his back while walking toward the fighting.

"Innocence, activate."

Martosu ran toward the Noah and hit the left blade against it's side and shoved Abel out of the way.

"Really now, you want to continue this dance?"

Vicious eyes glared at the new exorcist, as Ruth hissed at another pawn in the game. Her claws began to glow in a blood-red aura as she swooped to tear down all the exorcists in her way, slashing and hacking as she passed by each one.

One by one the exorcists tried to dodge but they all underestimated the extended reach granted by her vampiric aura.

"Your blood will rain over this church as you slowly die."

hides out of this mess. So I totally regret in saving that Abel, how about you go snack on him while we go on our merry way?"

Mizaki suddenly turned to Martosu.

"What are you talking about?! Our mission here was to investigate to see if all this thing was the cause of an innocence! There is a possibility that Abel is an Exorcist, and that he should be brought back to HQ!"

Blood was dripping from Martosu's head and obscuring his vision. He raised a shaky hand to wipe it away, but that only made way for fresh blood to drip down.

Well, there goes our only thing to bargin with...

"So the life of one Exorcist out weighs three? Fine, I only agree to save his head because it'll be the only way to get you out of here. Have any great ideas?"

[Nightvision]

"Not really"

Mizaki looked at Martosu silently.

"How bout we just spread apart and make a run for it? I'm pretty sure we're all too worn out from the level three Akuma attack from before."

He thought hard in his head how to do so.

[kensei]

The sounds of an exorcist being stabbed in the back echoed the church gardens. Ruth smiled, as she slowly pulled her fingers out.

"Don't argue, it just leaves too big of an opening, dear."

The new exorcist only prepared himself for Ruth's next attack as he saw Mizaki's body drop to the ground.

Ruth strolled towards the exorcist, as her sinister smile grew wider.

"Aren't you a bit heartless to the poor old father over there?"

[Damage to Mizaki: 16]

[Reco]

"There's no point in getting attached to anyone, the only thing that comes of it is pain."

Martosu heard the sound of hooves coming closer.

So that where the horse ran off too. Now if I can just toss Abel on top of him, he can run out into the forest, that should buy some time....

Martosu suddenly grabs Mizaki by the shirt
"You wont like this."
and throws him on top of the horse. Martosu hits the rear end of the horse, causing the horse to run off and out of site.

Martosu then hits the Noah arm with his left blade and the electricity burns the skin off.

[Nightvision]

For Mizaki everything went blurry as he felt the sudden pain. The next thing he knew it was pitch darkness.

[kensei]

Ruth frowned as the exorcist started to run away.

"You won't get away that easy", she said as she waved her hand summoning another Level 1 Akuma and driving her hand into its skull, infesting it like the akuma before, only this time, she poured most of her energy as it was enveloped in a dark, brooding aura.

"Corruption..."

With target in sight, the Infested Akuma fired its whole life essence at the horse, causing the poor animal to explode as its flesh burned up into ashes before it touched the ground. The vampire and the exorcist were knocked back from the ferocious explosion, as the Akuma disintegrated after the attack.

[123 damage]

Ruth then screamed as she let out another Withering Surface attack, the ear-splitting sound causing any villagers caught in the area to cringe in pain as their ears bled. Smirking as she was sure the exorcists were defeated, she reverted back to her First Manifestation form.

She turned around to see the chapel in ruins, covered with rotting flesh and squirming maggots.

"What a sight..." she whispered as she started to walk away but stopped, as she felt sharp fangs dig in to her neck.

"No....way..."

This mission was a total bust after all......
That Abel better be worth it.
Everthing turned to black as Martosu's eyes slowly shut. He welcomed it since the maggots were starting to gross him out.

Abel

While Ruth was attacking the two exorcists, Abel was staying low, waiting for the perfect opprtunity to which attack.

After Ruth finished with the exorcist, she turned around to take a look at the church, which layed in ruins covered with rotting flesh and squirming maggots.

"What a sight..." she whispered as Abel charged, and digged his sharp fangs in her neck.

Ruth screamed, and tried to get Abel off. Abel, however, was too strong for her, grabbing her with his arm as he injected his blood into her. After he finished, he gave her a headbutt to the back of her head while slashing her body with his claws. Then as he let go, he took a jump and kicked Ruth with his two legs, and fall to the ground on his back.

[Ruth health: 36-4(bite)-4(vampire blood)-4(slashing)-7(kick)=17]

Just as Ruth tried to regain her balance, Abel quickly ran towards her, giving her a kick in the guts, then grabbing her leg and spinning her around, before smacking her whole body against the ruins.

After that Abel started walking towards her, planning to deliver the finishing blow...

"Ughh...."

The bleeding vampire's face regenerated as his murderous stare was locked on to Ruth, who was trying to get up after crashing into a wall.

"Attacking from behind, that's not very Father-like..."

Abel Nightroad only stared at the Noah, and finally began to speak, "Killing the likes of you dark ones, is the way of the Lord."

Ruth touched where the priest bit him, as her fingers were drenched in black blood. She eyed the priest and smiled.

"It stings. Like an Innocence...so you are a wielder after all..."

Abel stepped back, as he began to charge as fast as he could, going in for the kill.

"But.." Ruth laughed, "We will continue this some other time. I gathered what I needed to know." Before the priest could reach her she began to vanish into a swirling portal.

"We will meet again."

Huffing, weak and shivering from the injection of pure Innocence, Ruth sat against a marble wall in another town's church. Under the statue of the Virgin Mary not unlike the one she saw back in Father Abel's church, she leaned her head back as her face was covered with beads of sweat.

"I hate...vampires.."

Abel:

"Please take care of them," Father Abel told the nurse as he left the room where all the exorcists were resting.

Kneeling in the hospital's prayer room, he looked up to the statue of the Virgin Mary as he recited the last lines of his prayers. Conjuring up the Cross symbols engraved in the exorcist's black uniform, he smiled as he stood up and walked to the door.

"The Black Order huh...Perhaps the Lord wants me there than stay in this town."
