Divided loyalties: An investigation in Stockholm
In Stockholm, what might be the biggest group of Finders stumbled upon a rare find: the remains of an Akuma untouched by the Innocence. Upon studying them, they discovered that there is a secret to them that is worth the Science Dept.'s time.
The scientist sent there, one Dr. Roberts, has studied the skeleton for months. However, recently, he stopped sending in his reports. The worried Komui had sent in several people to contact him, and it appears that everything is in order. The Dr. is alive and well, and his reports have been sent, though never arrived.
However, Komui remained suspicious, and decided that it was time to send in some more deadly force...
-------------------------------------------------
"So you see, his reports never arrived. It may be because of some minor miscommunication error, but I doubt it. So, you'll take care of it!" Komui's face were shadowed and he showed clearly that he was dumping a completely mundane task on them.

"WHY IS THERE SO MUCH WATER!?"
"Calm down, Mr. La-Ahad."
"CALM DOWN!? WE COULD DROWN! OR GET EATEN BY A LEVIATHAN!!!"
"You believe in Leviathans, Mr. La-Ahad?"
"WELL, YES... NO! SHUT UP! GET ME OFF THIS BOAT!!! TURN BACK! TURN BACK!"
"We're already half way there, Mr. La-Ahad. I suggest you sit down and calm down."
"NO YOU F*CKIN' CALM DOWN! I CAN'T EVEN SEE LAND FROM HERE! WHAT IF THOSE SAILORS GET US LOST!? WHAT THEN!?"
"Mr. La-Ahad, we've been using this ship and the captain is a supporter of the Order, they are also a very talented crew. I suggest you put your trust in them as the rest of us have."
"TRUST!? LAST TIME I TRUSTED SOMEONE I ALMOST GOT SOLD AS A SLAVE TO AFRICA! SCREW TRUST! SCREW YOU! LET ME OFF!"
The following two hours was filled with the Finder and two other sailors wrestling Sicarii as he attempted to jump ship.
Just a bit longer and land. Who would know a single Exorcist could be this much of a pain. thought the Finder.
"Land sighted! Crew, Mr. Exorcist and Mr. Finder, welcome to Stockholm!" cried out the captain of the ship.
"THANK GOD!"
"Thank God!"
Both said out loud in unison.

((Heh, bored. Double post ftw.))
"FASTER! LOWER THE PLANK! LOWER THE PLANK! WHAT IN ALL OF GOD'S LOGIC IS WRONG WITH YOU!? LOWER THE G-"
"Mr. La-Ahad, the plank is lowered."
He rolled his eyes.
The Finder, Eddie, always liked to be in the company of the Exorcists. This inexperienced new guy was a distinct exception.
Sicarii got off.
"He looked like the quiet type as well, Edd." whispered the captain.
"Yeah, I thought so too."
Both sighed, then noticed that Sicarii had become eerily quiet, now simply sitting down, staring and waiting impatiently at Eddie.
"Mood swings?"
"He's not your wife, John."
Both gave a tiny laugh and said their farewells.
The ship departed the dock and now it was simply Sicarii and Eddie.
"Where to now, Mr. La-Ahad?"
"Well, we first have to filter the variables of the issue. The obvious possibilities is that the carrier of the reports has been not doing their job, or worst, been giving the reports to someone other than the Order.
There is also the possibility that the Dr. Roberts, the one that Komui was saying was researching the remains of the Akuma hasn't been sending the reports at all."
"But didn't we find out by sending people over that everything is okay?"
"Well, we didn't find out. They apparently did. And since we can't trust them, we can't be sure of it. Which means, for all we know, they could have been all killed, including the doc, and the messages have been forged and false."
Eddie was surprised that someone could talk this much in a single breath. Then again, it was coming from someone who could continuously yell from the the Order's HQ all the way to Stockholm.
"There is, though, another variable to consider."
"Which is?"
"Dr. Roberts could have ran away."
Ran away? From what?"
Eddie felt stupid asking a constant stream of questions.
"Perhaps he did something he feared that the Order would not forgive him for. Or he was threatened by someone to leave the Akuma remains alone and he has fled.
Despite laying out possible reasons of what has happened, we must firstly find Dr. Roberts. If we find him and he can prove he's been sending off reports, then we can eliminate the possibility of him running away, being killed or any of the sort."
"Should we find the other Exorcists tasked with this mission?"
"There are others?"
"You're not that special, Mr. La-Ahad. There are possibly 1, 2 or even 3 more Exorcists that will be trying to find out the same thing as you are. Should we not try to find them and then work with them?"
"I'm horrible with finding people, and you're not even sure who's on the mission. So let them find us."
"Fair enough."
They both lifted their travel cases and began walking. It was already evening. Finding a place to stay was priority, and then before night would come, they would try to find some clues or the doc himself.
"Hey, hey, Edd. What good food is there in Stockholm?"

Eyes constantly fixed on the momentary rushing images by the window, Jean looked blankly as his stomach growled.
This train is soo bad...
Not only was the service bad, even the passengers were almost either always furious or crying. Even the train was delayed by two hours just because the engine wouldn't start. He could blame it on some member under the Earl trying to sabotage him, but somehow, perhaps its more like the universe casting a wave of bad luck in one shot.
The baby behind him screeched for the thirteenth time.
And I thought ticking clocks were annoying..

Sicarii and Edd walked into a tavern which promised accommodation that provided heat and a free meal.
"Seems good enough, no?"
"As long you're okay with that Mr. La-Ahad."
They both walked in, the tavern was filled with business and they seemed to attract no attention at all. They walked up to the bar tender and managed to get a room upstairs.
It was small and empty. A small fireplace with two beds. That was all. Of course, that wasn't including the dirt and dust along with the sound of rats and the sight of cockroaches running about.
"Sure beats where I used to live."
This really made Eddie want to question Sicarii's formed living standards.
"If you're lonely, you know I'm waiting for you...." Sicarii sang to himself as they unpacked.
"Shall we go look about?"
"Of course."
"Where to?"
"Well, you wanted to find Exorcists or someone in the Order, no? Well apparently we all use trains, so to the station we go."
And off they went.

As soon as Jean got out of the train, he buttoned up his coat to hide the Exorcist uniform, as to arouse as less suspicions as possible. To him, investigative missions had no need for any fighting. Without haste he made his way to the exit and found himself catching a recently common sight- snowfields as far as the eye could see.
His golem started to beep and transmit a message. The sounds startled him as people nearby started to notice the sound from inside his coat. He ran to the nearest alley to avoid anymore suspicious looks, huffing as he took his golem out.
"Oi! Kanda here. Any exorcists who get this message in Stockholm get your sorry little hineys in a placed called 'The White Sunset'."
"Kanda..." Jean gulped. Getting along with him would be quite.. -challenging. At least he was in his better moods he thought.
Putting the golem back in his coat, Jean found his way back on the street, looking left and right.
Now, where to start finding this place?
Artemis

Sicarii looked at Edd.
Then in the direction he hoped was right.
"What exactly is this Sunset thing?"
"Not sure, possibly just a rendezvous location set by Kanda."
"Yeah, but where is it?"
Eddie shrugged.
Pulling up to a nearby phone booth, hooking up his golem, Sicarii attempted to contact Kanda.
"You there, Kanda?"
"Not unless you've got something useful to say."
"Is asking you where this Sunset place useful?"
"Are you that useless?"
"Most of the time. Just tell me where the hell the place is."
"Your lack of navigational skills is none of my concern."
"What type of answer is that? Just give me an estimate."
"Just keep on going north east from the main docking ports."
"Good enough. Thanks."
Kanda already hanged up.
"Where's the port again, Ed?"
Eddie pointed at the direction based on the map on Stockholm he received prior to leaving. Both began walking slowly as Sicarii began to sing again.
((Ken, can you get there first? So, you know, you can describe what this Sunset place of yours is exactly. Don't want to trample over your location, you know.))

The docks
((Note that Sword Dancer is in fact Rave, hiding his identity))
Sword Dancer
Captain James Brett, the owner of the Seagull, looked from the corner of his eye to the interesting person he picked up at England. The man, who was quite tall, wore a long brown coat that effectively hid all his features. When he boarded and asked for passage, he spoked with a cool, calm and low voice that displayed no emotion whatsoever.
The man also wore gloves which effectively hid his arms, a thing that the captain found suspicious. Nevertheless, the man paid for his passage and did not cause any trouble whatsoever during the voyage, sitting in the corner of the deck for the most part, looking at the sea - well, the hood that covered his face was turned there, so the captain assumed he was looking at the sea.
He remembered seeing the man disappear once into his cabin, but whatever it was, he was back on the deck within an hour.
Well, they were at the docks of Stockholm now, so the man stood up and headed to the plan.
"Excuse me," said the captain, unable to contain his curiosity any longer, "would you mind telling me your name?"
The man looked at him over the shoulder, the cowl waving slightly, and shrugged. "I'm Sword Dancer." The captain caught a flicker of bright brown hair as the man turned and walked away, his hands hidden inside the folds of his robe.
As far as Sword Dancer was concerned, the voyage was of barely any interest. the sea was magnificent, to be sure, but his pragmatism got in his way. He also realized that he wasn't quite as far from the Black Order as he wanted; he noted another Exorcist descending from the ship, shouting all the while.
So, he turned and walked away, headed south. He hoped that he could find a place to calm down and story through the jumble in his mind.

Somewhere in the city, a house
The white plastered walls of the building were yellowing, but for the resident of the building it didn't matter. Dr. Sander Roberts, a blond and tall man from the Netherlands, could care less of what his residence looked like as long as it served its purposes.
Inside, there were three rooms filled with varying devices, from random gun-like contraptions to knives of different sizes. The doctor himself was sitting at a table, writing a diagram for a strange object. A horse's shoe, but with one end longer than the other. No one would have guessed what it was.
He yawn and stretched, pulling away from his work and looking out of the window. Exorcists would be here soon, he suspected. He knew that Komui, aside form his crazy fits, was a very shrewd individual.
A Finder - or at least someone that looked like him - entered the room, going straight through the wall where there was supposed to be a fourth room, if one would look at the house form above. The Finder - his original name was Samson - was in fact a modified human.
Sander smiled evilly. His experiments were a success! He could create artificial Exorcists, capable of battling Akuma! No more would they have to risk the lives of Exorcists needlessly! No more would there be loss of life by accident. These programmed monstrosities could take anyone down!
"Everything is in readiness, master," said the Finder, his voice almost robotic.
"My dear, good Samson. Go out to the city, and find the Exorcists that have arrived. Kill them."
The man bowed stiffly and left at once.
((I'll be RPing as Samson later on when he find you. In the meantime every gather 'round Kanda))

Dammit! I knew i should've worn something else....but the rules are you HAVE to wear your uniform on every single damn MISSION! We're supposed to investigate not attract lots of attention to ourselves!
Everyone kept staring at him until about half an hour passed and they started to get used to him.

"Oi! Kanda here. Any exorcists who get this message in Stockholm get your sorry little hineys in a placed called 'The White Sunset'."
"Yeah yeah I'm coming..." Hiro said bluntly as always he turned to his golem. "Hey Shi! Take me to 'The White Sunset'" ((Note: Shi is Hiro's golem's name))
The golem nodded and started floating out of the station and towards the town, after a good 10 minute walk with people staring at Hiro again they(Shi and Hiro) finally arrived at 'The White Sunset'.

A small tavern on the outskirts of the city
Dies and Kujaku
Dies sat in the corner of the bar, smoke wafting through his nostrils at regular intervals, vaguely mixed with the slowly burning smell of coal. Kujaku was sat on Dies' lap, nibbling the various snacks that Dies had ordered. The passers-by thought he was simply a strange dog.
Dies wore a hood to better mask his identity, along with a thick trenchoat and boots. Stockholm wasn't exactly the epitome of warm. Upon closer inspection though, Dies' eyes were closed. He seemed to be deep in thought-
"Kujaku, we're leaving."
They snapped open and Dies stood up, with Kujaku bouncing onto the rotting table. The Akuma grabbed as much food as he could before following Dies.
Outside, the Noah stepped into a small glade of pine trees. One of the trees began to peel itself, taking the form of a paper-thin sheet of wood. It was one of the akuma Dies had requested. This one had the ability to blend with any wooden object, moving between them freely. He was the perfect spy. The Akuma whispered into Dies' covered ear, and the Noah nodded.
"Keep an eye out for them, then."
The akuma had little to say - simply that he had detected exorcist power trails. It confirmed that they were here though, and looking for something.

Outside the White Sunset
The White Sunset. A small wooden lodge in the outskirts of the city. Smoke was billowing out of the cherry-colored chimney and the sounds of chimes echoed throughout the snow-covered garden.
It took almost a day for Jean to reach the place, after some lucky turns despite the absence of a reliable map. Swedish was never a language he understood.
The inside was warmer than he thought. A quaint little fireplace was busily burning as he spotted Kanda, arms crossed and eyes closed, grumbling even in his sleep. A plump old lady welcomed Jean and offered him some tea.
"No thanks, ma'am," Jean politely refused as he approached Kanda.
"Took your time," he snapped, eyes still shut.
So he wasn't asleep..
"Apparently we're waiting for two more useless runts so just go drink some tea with that woman or something for a while, I'll give details when they're here. I hate repeating myself."
Well this is going to be a fun mission..

"Because I was asking at the desk wether you were here or not." A vein popped up on Hiro's face but he kept his face straight.
"Hey Hiro! Long time no see."
"Yeah..."
Hiro leaned against a wall and crossed his arms and closed his eyes, waiting for the other Exorcist to show up.

"Wait, we're supposed to be with Kanda?" Kaze asked, his eyes wide in terror.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO," Kaze groaned. He managed to evade Kanda for almost every single mission in his whole 14 years in the order, but looks like he have to be with Kanda this time.
"Kanda's an idiot," he countinued.
"Sir, i think you should stop-" the Finder began, looking over Kaze's shoulder.
"Kanda has this stupid attitude-"
"Sir, Kanda is-"
"What? what? what?"
"Kanda's behind you looking at you."
"Err... ohh." Kaze gave a embarrassed start and turned around. "Errr... 'looking' is too weak a word, i think he's glaring at me."

The door opened and in came a slightly happy Sicarii and a slightly tired Eddie.
"God, those Swedes are hard to get directions from. You ask one tiny thing and they go all shunning me. I blame the f*cking uniform."
Realising that he was surrounded by people he didn't know and that didn't know him, he figured starting with a more nicer approach would be better.
"Uh, forgot, I'm Sicarii La-Ahad, the final one thats supposed to be here."
"I suppose you're the useless one that needed my directions?"
"Pfft... I suppose you're the one that is just as bad as those Swedes."
As the two passed a glare at each other, Eddie came in and broke the staring match by asking the most obvious question.

He turned to face Hiro and repiled with a slight grin. "I left him sleeping in my room."
"You two idiots share the same room? That explains why you two are irritating," Kanda cut in.
"That's some long speech by you," Kaze argued back. "Gotten smarter?"

Moving into the city - a Snow covered field
Dies and Kujaku
Dies' boots left deep imprints in the snow as he and Kujaku crossed the ice and snow - laden field. Kujaku scampered in front of him, nose poking out to sniff out wheat and corn that could be hidden beneath the white blanket.
Dies was far more interested in hearing back from his Akuma. `In addition to the wooden one, the Noah had "borrowed" one of Gabriel's gaseous akuma, and both were out scouting. Dies hopped over a rotting fence that obstructed his path, and Kujaku went below it. The Akuma's pouches were filled with various foods now. Dies honestly wondered how big his stomach was.
It's funny. Before i met the Earl, i can remember knowing someone exactly like him. The name escapes, though. Probably from my time as a street conman.
Dies laughed. Yes, that was a tale to tell. he was having his office block fitted with a swimming pool as events unfolded in Stockholm. A nice big one, with hot water. He would swim in it. Later.
Pushing through the undergrowth, the two skirted into the city. Dies began to see signs of life - woodcutters and travelling merchants. Should there be any finders or exorcists, Dies' identity would remain obscured by his clothing, but Kujaku...
Dies clicked his fingers opening a small portal and hurling Kujaku into it.
"Stay there until i let you out. You have a habit of giving yourself away, Mr. I like Food."
Kujaku pouted slightly, but sealed the portal on himself nonetheless. Dies began to trudge into Stockholm alone.

In the Gardens of the White Sunset
"Alright, let's get the hell out of here!" Kanda suddenly bolted out the door, waving his hand to the old lady as a gesture of thanks. At least, it was supposed to be a gesture of gratitude.
"Wait," Jean ran towards Kanda, which apparently was an unwise decision with Kanda instinctively turning back pointing a sword at his face. Hesitating for a bit, Jean continued, "What about the mission details?"
"Start walking," he commanded. It was short, blunt and serious- but with no anger. The other exorcists followed Kanda, and soon Jean joined in.
It wasn't until there was another howling blizzard five miles from the city that Kanda began to talk. "You've heard about Komui's concerns about Dr. Roberts messages not coming through. Call me pessimistic-"
No...you're more than that...
"But there is always the possibility of that Roberts lying about his reports."
"Why would he do that?" Hiro asked, at the same time shielding himself from getting too much snow in his mouth.
"What if there it was the Earl?" Jean objected. "Perhaps were being too suspicious of a trusted member? We can't rule that out too, right?"
Kanda glared Jean in the eye. "First we have to find where he is."
"Shouldn't Komui give you his whereabouts first?"
"I left before he finished. His voice was annoying."
Throughout the snow and the winds, cold stares were piercing through towards Kanda.

Eddie jumped in before things got too heated.
"I got the report from Komui. The remains are located Just beyond the central marketing area of Stockholm. Apparently it's over quite a large space."
Edd said this as he pointed at the position on the map where he figured the remains would be.

((The Finder is dead nao =]. And you can't kill kanda >=D))
Samson
Samson trudged through the streets, his massive frame easily giving him enough space to move quickly. Dark haired and heavily tanned, he managed to scare the people enough anyway.
After a few minutes of walking from the house, he arrived at the designated location. He noted the Exorcists walking in, and immediately began his attack plan. His skin darkened further, turning a dark, slimy green, and his hands morphed, becoming thinner at the biceps but increasing in width of the forearm. His clothes ripped and became rugs.
His face altered into a cross between a wolf and an octopus. He became a Drathin.

Muerte
The Akuma slithered out of a tree as the exorcists departed. He was sure he hadn't been spotted, but perhaps they felt suspicious? What was his name... ah yes, Kanda. He had left rather suddenly, hadn't he. Muerte crept past the door, blending with a desk in order to escape the gaze of the crooked old woman.
Muerte could see the exorcists in the distance, but they were moving into a blizzard. It would be hard, if not impossible, for Muerte to use his camoflauge techniques in snow that thick and still gather the information.
He snuck to a nearby tree, coiling himself around it. The branches rustled as Muertte reformed, looking simply like another branch. From here, he had a better angle. And what was more, the trees were left uncovered by the snow further on.
Muerte began running, leaping from tree to tree. Being able to merge with his environment, Muerte had the speed to catch up with the exorcists, who were simply walking. As they came into the Akuma's field of vision again, Muerte noted that they had stopped moving. He leapt into a tree above the one called Kanda, causing a large deposit of snow to fall into his mouth.
"As if it was my task to do something as menial as that. You're the n-"
"I got the report from Komui. The remains are located Just beyond the central marketing area of Stockholm. Apparently it's over quite a large space."
Muerte settled in further, not wanting to give away his position. Then he noticed another figure trudging towards the exorcists. And then the figure opened fire.
"Time to report to Dies!"
Stockholm City Center
Dies
Dies slipped into the markets, meaving his way through the oblivious crowds. He instinctivley knew the way, even if he didn't know where he was going. He bought two toffee apples as a present for Kujaku, Dies knew the little pest hated being stuck in the pocket dimensions. They were boring.
Really, Dies and his Akuma were very similar. Both liked unhealthy snacks, jokes, and hated the same people. An image of Road flashed into Dies' head, holding his porno mags and cackling, reminding him that he needed to get revenge on the little pest.
Dies crouched down in the doorway of a church. The wooden doors opened every now and then as priests and clergymen came out, but they gave Dies no trouble. The Noah pulled out a small bag of crisps as he sat, waiting to hear from Muerte.
The Akuma pulled himself from the wooden doors, whispering in Dies' ear.
"Yo, the exorcists are about five miles outta the city. And they're getting shot up!"
"Lead the way."
Dies stood up, brushing down his cloak.

Upon hearing the blasts Jean took cover behind a large pine tree. He reached into his bag to reveal a crossbow and began to shoot towards the enemy at irregular intervals, the attacks mixed with the defense.
Jean wouldn't use his electricity yet. Until the thing crept closer and he had better vision. The Northern winds whipped up the snow in the battlefield, creating an unnecessary fog of war.
Yet the shots were more or less more accurate than his.

Rushing wouldn't be good.
Sicarii used the ever blowing winds and bad vision of all parties to fall a bit back, before charging towards the target.
Staying low and running forward, he attempted to get at the 'feet' of the enemy and then slice him upwards.
He charged forward...
Rushing can be good. Right?

The winds lessened down just enough for Jean to hear someone slice the thing. Jean took his chance and stepped away from his cover, firing a shot charged with blue electricity.
"Anchor Bolt!"
The already damaged monster was hit by the charged bolt and was instantly covered by a paralysing field of lightning which pinned it down to the ground, only missing the exorcist below him.
Jean quickly stepped back into his cover as he grabbed another bolt and dipping it into one of his bags filled with explosive liquid.

What was once Eddie froze as the lightning bolt hit him. Though mostly a plant-like being, his organs still carried human characteristics, especially the dependence on electronic signals from the brain stem to the limbs. Paralyzed, it couldn't move, but even as it's limbs slumped it felt the power slowly returning to it. From outside, Samson continued blasting the building with a constant barrage of seed-bullets, turning the humans into more Drathin.
Within minutes, there were fifteen more of them, advancing on the Exorcists menacingly.

Sicarii stopped, jumped back and was astonished at how many were created within such a short amount of time.
His Innocence and him both lacked experience and were both suited to destroying a single or a few targets.

The others seemed well suited to take down multiple targets and all seemed to have speciality attacks that were all useful.

Jean ran to find other forms of cover as more and more of these things were appearing. Sniper tactics won't work as well against an army.

Sicarii was fairly fast, and including his ability to dodge quite well, constant running and sprinting from cover to cover aided a tiny bit in letting his fellow Exorcists get better and clearer shots against the enemy.

At once, Kaze's body rippled and changed. 4 long blades erupted out of him, 1 on each wrists, 1 on each elbow (making 2 double-bladed swords). then there's 4 more blades that darts around in the air by itself. 4 giant bat-like wings sprouted from from Kaze, all tipped with claws. 8 long tenticles grows out of Kaze's tail bone like tails, hoisting him high up above the ground, much like an octopus too.
He spun behind the Drathin (speed still 20) and lashed out with all 8 of his tails, each powerfully muscled and strong enough to crack blocks of cement. 3 of his tails slammed into the ground, causing deep cracks. The other 5 tails whipped into the Drathin, cracking ribs and bones and sending it flying through the air and smashing against the wall, landing in an indigified heap.
The drathin, furious, blast out those funny bullet-like seeds, but kaze leaped backwards, among the other human-turned-drathin, and stabed outwards with all 8 of his blades, 4 of them darting and soaring through them like hot knife through butter. Those weak humans, mostly unarmed, fell by the score. Unfortunately he was still hit by those bullets, and quickly cut hose bits of flesh away without hesitating. After all, he had shaved off the flesh from his body, exposing the bones before last time (several times the past few arcs).
(Damage- 4 per arms ( 20 damage). Taking into account of Kaze's attack power of 22.
Drathin HP- 43 - 20 + 5 = 28
Kaze HP- 36- 2 (damage by bullets) - 4 (damage to flesh) = 30 HP))
All the while, kaze stil danced his deadly dance among those 'humans', 8 flashes of sliver everywhere, sastified that he had weakened the drathin enough for his fellow exorcists to kill it.

Stockholm city center
Sword Dancer
He left the inn not two minutes ago, but he already heard that some monsters attack an inn in the city. He leaned against a building wall and shook his head. Well, there goes the quiet contemplation he hoped to get. Despite going rogue, at some place in his mind, Rave still cared about his friends.
He burst into a dead run, literally jumping off walls when the streets were too crowded. His hood and cowl hid his face, and since he changed his uniform into a less conspicuous jacket and pants (though the jacket was a long and flaring overcoat), he would not be identified as an Exorcist.
[Location change - White Sunset Inn]
As he arrived at the White Sunset Inn, he immediately noted the monster shooting from the street into the building, and without hesitation he slid his sword from the sheath, rammed it into the ground and used the sheath to propel himself forward at a greater speed, smashing head on into the Drathin and slicing away part of its head.
[Damage caused - 7||Regenerates for 5||Remaining HP 48]
The monster turned at once, and began firing at him, but Sword Dancer was faster and rotated in midair, dodging the bullets and slashing against with his sword, hurting the already-regrowing monster again. He landed and jumped away, grabbing his sheath and hiding behind a low wall near a building, running as fast as he could so that the bullets won't get him in line.
He heard a few remaining bystanders get hit, and realized quickly the dangers of this monster as they turned into similar monsters. He jumped straight up, smashed a window with his sword and launched himself into the building, hiding from the bullets. The now-6 Drathin were still firing at the house, covering it in dense fire, but he chose a different tactic. Refusing to use his Innocence for fear of being recognized, he dashed to the other side of the building and exited, circumventing the block quickly and rushing from the other side, across the street from the plant monsters.
Of course, they were smart enough to realize that there was such a possibility and therefore were not surprised, immediately turning their machine-guns at him and continuing to fire constantly. Sword Dancer got a nasty hit on his leg and immediately slashed it off, spurting blood from his leg.
[Damage caused to self 3 [Rave HP 32]||Maximum speed is temporarily 32 due to damaged leg]
Rolling behind a few bushes, he realized that he couldn't dodge all bullets from the 6 monsters, and he could not kill them before they turned him into one of them with their bullets. He leaned back and considered his possibilities.
For the time being, it seemed that the monsters were well aware that he was of no danger, and so turned their fire to the building, sending three of them to circumvent around the building and catch the Exorcists in a cross-fire.
[Damage dealt to all residents in the building - 6, you may dodge or hide behind walls or other sturdy objects]
Sword Dancer realized he needed some sort of protection, so he looked at his sword for answers. As he was now, he would be killed far too quickly. But to use his Innocence here, would mean to be revealed and for that he was not yet ready.
Use me... defend yourself! The sudden, female voice echoed in his head, emanating from his sword, no doubt. Shocked, he looked at it. Use you? How? His thoughts were obviously heard as an image planted itself in his head.
Nodding in understanding he activated his Innocence, using the second levle, the Emperor's Garden. And then he reversed the flow of the petals, sticking them on his person.
In the inn, a female voice suddenly echoed softly, temporarily stopping the combatants. "One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. When there are ten, it will fall. Gently, it will fall."
A suit of armor (http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c39/SankonGanSou/gallery_318011_1406_27883.jpg) surrounded him, settling on him like a second skin. He placed his sword near his metal helmet and charged forward at amazing speed, slashing apart the three Drathin in the street.

Sicarii noticed an extremely fast moving figure, slicing and dicing the enemy extremely well.

En Route to the White Sunset Inn
Dies and Muerte
The organic Akuma led Dies through the shifting alleys of Stockholm, leaping from tree to tree. Dies, shifting into his Noah form, was easily able to keep up with the Akuma.
"This way!" Muerte yelled as he twisted to the right, becoming invisible for a second as a result of his paper-thin form. Dies leapt, planting his feet on the wall to slow his momentumn before dropping to the ground and following Muerte. The two broke out of the city center, entering small vineyards and farms, the work of slightly wealthier inhabitants who fancied themselves as Lords Of The Manor. Muerte broke into a slight woodland, increasing his own speed but slowing down Dies. A few seconds after Muerte had pushed his way through the thickets, Dies burst out, leaping from the branch of a nearby tree. Even in the slight snow, the exorcists and their foe were quite visible. Muerte seemed slighty amused.
"Strange. There is another presence here, using innocence. And there were many less of those gun-wielders when i was here before..." The akuma bit his tongue, and Dies knew there was something else he had to say.
"And?"
"Well... it seems like the gunners... are organic plant life..."
"I see..."
Dies leapt into a tree, attempting to get a better viewpoint. Muerte appeared behind him. While the Noah was quite happy to let the exorcists die, it had to be said that he was after information, first and foremost. He switched back to his light form so the exorcists couldn't detect him; instructing Muerte to move closer.
Mayhap, Muerte would be able to hear something.

Sword Dancer
He moved to fast that the few bullets that scrapped against his armor barely changed their course. To the confused Drathin, it appeared as if something was attacking it from all sides, slashing and hacking.
[Damage caused 5||Regenerates for 5||Remaining Drathin HP 50]
However, Sword Dancer realized that his reduced offensive ability would not suffice to damage the regenerating Drathin, so he used a different tactic. Suddenly and powerfully kicking the plant monster into the wall, he slashed both the monster and the wall behind him, causing the southern wall of the inn to collapse and bury the monster.
[Damage caused 5 (slash) + 5 (building debris)||Regenerates for 5||Remaining Drathin HP 45]
Before the confused monster could even begin to move, Sword Dancer smashed its gun-hand, causing it to break and drop some seeds on the ground. The seeds promptly sprouted into large palm trees, but otherwise did not create new monsters. Sword Dancer noted it but for the moment he remembered he still had two more monsters behind him, one of which was already regrowing its missing eye.
He jumped away, and then, on an impulse, moved his left shoulder slightly, which caused a long chain made of X-shaped linked to sprout from there. Noticing the Drathin aiming their barrels at him, he began rotating, swinging the chain around so fast it formed a cloak of sorts, that very effectively blocked the barrage of seed-bullets. He landed between the two monsters and rotated quickly, slashing their arms off, then bolted to the other side of the street, and jumped right up, landing on the roof of the building that he earlier escaped into. The holed walls creaked, but held, for now.
[Damage handed 5 (slash)||Regenerate for 5||Hurt Drathin remaining HP 43, other Drathin remaining HP 50]
He turned his head and looked at the two regrowing Drathin, quickly considering his options. His impossible speed had one important weakness - he couldn't change course effectively without using something for leverage. His sword would do, but his attack needed to be refined. So he moved aside, jumping straight up and rotating in the air, and began turning. Within seconds, his rotation speed allowed him to land several cuts, and so he did, hitting the Drathin again and disorienting them further.
Once he landed on his feet his stabbed each of them in their gun barrels, slowing them down further, then bolted to the other side of the building, intending to take care of the other three Drathin before they could begin firing again.
[Drathin in the street are now unable to fire for three posts until their gun barrels are restored.]

Dies, Muerte, and Kujaku
Dies sighed. There were a lot of these... "Plant things", as Muerte termed them. The Noah glanced at the Akuma. Dies was quite trusting in Muerte's evaluations. The Akuma was perceptive and ocnfident in his abilities. Dies didn't doubt his claims, though there would likely be more to it.
"Ok." He spoke gently. "At this rate, those exorcists are going to die, and i can't be having that. We need to know what they are after. So, we'll save them, then betray them. Oh, and Muerte - leave some alive."
"Yes sir."
Dies grinned, reaching into a nearby dimension and yanking out Kujaku. The furry Akuma saw the nearby battle and entered "Serious puppy" mode. He grabbed onto Dies' back, still obscured by the trenchcoat.
"Let's go."
Dies kicked off from the branch of the tree, heading straight into the group in the street and drawing his sword as he did so. He was sure they saw him coming, but they didn't fire.
"Tsch." The bullets wouldn't have hit anyway.

Noticing the disabling of the Drathin's weaponry, Sicarii decided that this would be one of the best times to attack at close range.
The blade was so large now compared to before, that a piercing movement wouldn't be as effective as a slicing attack.
When charging Sicarii seemed to see that there were another person or persons joining the fight, coming from a different angle to the others and managed to give a good damaging attack against the creature.

The plant monsters are going down, as long as the barrage of attacks keep going. A mysterious armored figure could be seen hacking away at the beasts near the White Sunset, and now another one has joined the battle.
It was then that Jean knew he had to help with the bombardment of attacks so these monsters could be done and over with. He created three Shadow Lightning Clones as all four Jeans leaped out of their cover running towards the beasts.
They all focused on the monster Sicarri was fighting, as they all drew their Lightning Blades and hacked their way into its limbs, after which the three clones dispersed to move on to the other beasts.
Jean helped Sicarii up but was hit by a stray seed on the neck. Slicing it off with his dagger, he dropped his knees for a little while as blood furiously poured out of his neck.

Sicarii nodded as he readied his innocence. "We can at least try."

Content to fight with ranged attack, with just a casual flick of his will, he sent 3 of his blades diving and piercing into the Drathin. However, the drathin managed to duck behind a nearby road stal, thus only 2 of the blades were embadded in his limbs instead of his chest, while the last one missed completely and clanged into the wall.

"Dies! I've been inspecting those bullets the creatures are firing, and they seem to be some sort of seed. I would imagine the weapons have something to do with the organic nature of the monsters!"

Sword Dancer rotated to the left, slashing away the gunbarrel. Although he damaged the monsters severely, he realized that this could not continue. While these monsters weren't particularly strong or fast, their numbers and constant shooting made it difficult for him to effectively defeat them. And, his attacks weren't strong enough to destroy them before they regrew together.
So he realized that there was but one effective method of defeating all of them in one fell swoop. Kicking himself off the ground he glided through the air and landed before them. Removing his armor, he pointed the blade down at the ground and willed the power to flow through him.
His fingers opened as though by themselves, dropping the sword into the ground majestically. The surprised monsters stared at him as the sword sunk into the ground. Within instants, a thousand swords rose from the ground around him, each glowing softly with a white light. Instantly shattering into thousands of petals.
((Cue ensuing rape and stuff, le yawn. Forget stats, you people are way slow for that schnitzel))
The petals descended on the surprised Drathin and sliced them into bits, ripping them long before they could have regrown together. Looking at the fallen monsters sadly, he realized he had no more time to spend on being nice. Running up to the building wall, he glanced inside, carefully looking around. There were at least fifteen more of the monsters, but they were around, among, and too near to the Exorcists to chance a sweeping attack, so he chose a different route.
The petals dispersed and came around, on, and between the Exorcists and monsters. Within seconds the entire room was inside a large cloud of petals. Smiling to himself, he willed the petals to close tightly around the monsters, and, beautifully, they ripped to shreds, covering the interior of the place with their blood.

Dies glanced around. He noted the presence of another person here, and realized that with the diminishing numbers, the exorcists would see this fight through to the end without his help.
He sheathed his sword and picked up Kujaku from the snow, running into the treeline again, in an effort to mask his movements. He would gladly kill them later; but while he had no idea what he was searching for, he had to keep them alive. Well. A few of them, at least. Dies noted one heavily injured Egyptian-Arabic looking man wielding some sort of small blade from his position within the trees.
As Dies was about to summon him, Muerte appeared from the floor.
"Yes, sir?"
"Muerte. Do you see that exorcist? The arabic one, with the handblade. He's standing there. By a tree." Dies flapped his arms wildly, gesturing the exorcist's position.
"Yessir."
"It is convenient for me to keep my presence concealed, but i do not think we need to keep all of them alive, ne?"
"Yessir." Muerte's eyes flashed, he saw where Dies was going.
"While he's weakened, kill or incapacitate him. Should you fail, the exorcists will think it was a random Akuma attack. They can't suspect any Noah are involved... Just yet."
"Yessir."
Without another word, Muerte vanished into a nearby tree.

He sliced the Drennin, sprouting an odd colour blood from the wound.
It cried in pain.
Sicarii collapsed to his knees, now breathing heavily. A small pool of water emerging around him.

Another two of Jean's clones exploded in the face of the last plant monsters, falling from a mysterious area-effect attack.
Did I just see petals?
Jean was panting, he wanted to save his level 2 innocence for other fights but his plan came at the cost of much of his health. Ironically, saving his Innocence's energy meant getting hurt badly. He turned to the other exorcists to see how they were doing, and was shocked to see a tree ambushing Sicarii.
"Sicarii! Behind you!"
Sicarii turned around and managed to just dodge the branch's attack. Jean's could feel his innocence resonating, signaling that it was an akuma.
Ah, it's now or never! Innocence level two!
Knowing the price of activating his level two at a bad state, Jean knew he had to save Sicarii. Kanda was too busy finishing the last of the plant monsters (which strangely are not Akuma) taking three of them at once. Jean quickly opened his bag of crossbow bolts and flung them in the air.
"Magnet Bomb!"
Despite his shoulder at the brink of bleeding heavily, Jean created a magnet bomb where the tree is as the bolts flung towards the target, breaking the growing branch off and pinning itself on various parts of the trunk. Hopefully it was just enough time for Sicarii to escape.

"Th... Thanks, brother. Let's keep moving before it comes back."
He waved his hands to Kanda, signaling that they were moving again. Kanda didn't like the fact that he was being told what to do by someone as 'weak' as Sicarii, but knew that they would have to start moving again.
The Exorcists moved along, all of them had been wounded, Sicarii one of the worst, but nevertheless they reached the main streets of Stockholm.
Their uniforms and wounds made them severely stick out in the crowd.
"Let's hope the right people find us, eh brothers?"

Muerte health: 32
Muerte flinched, fading back into the ground.
He reappeared behind Dies.
"It's no good, a sneak attack is simply impossible when there are so many, and i'm not possessing the strength to take them all on outright."
"Damn."
Dies sighed. Yeah, he'd seen what happened. Despite Muerte's camoflague, he had been spotted instantly. Those damn exorcists watched each other's backs a little too well. Muerte would have his uses later, of course, because a surprise attack was best when the enemy was distracted.
But for now, it seemed like the Noah and the Akuma would have to sit and wait.
"I hate waiting."
Dies only watched, sulking, as the exorcists began to move back into Stockholm.

The Streets of Stockholm
Kanda finally came out of the local clinic with the least bandages of the group. Everyone was weary from the battle and decided to find a place to recuperate for the night far from the White Sunset.
Once they were in their rooms Jean wasted no time looking at the maps of Stockholm, trying to locate where the Finders where last seen. Jean was about to contact Komui with a golem when a knock came through the door.
"What is it!?" Kanda snapped.
"Yuu Kanda of the Black Order?" the voice replied, unfazed by Kanda's rude reaction. "I'm Thomas, a finder sent by Komui. I have information on where the Doctor may have been last seen."
The door opened to reveal a tall, chestnut-haired man with a scar in place of his left eye. Closing the door as soon as he was in, he walked to where Jean was and asked to borrow the map.
"Komui himself believes that the doctor used to work here," Thomas said as he pointed to the southern portion of the map, "Whether he is still there or has moved, we don't know."
"Shouldn't we check post offices first or something, to see if it was a problem with their system?" Kaze interrupted.
"I already have sir. I accompanied an exorcist group and we were on our way to his house when we were attacked by a plant monster, and i was the only survivor."
"Is that how you got that scar?" Jean asked.
"Yes. I was shot there by a seed, and the only way to stop being turned into one of those monsters was to get rid of it before it implants itself."
"Ah whatever," Kanda slammed his fist. "Lead us there tomorrow, I expect everyone up first thing in the morning," he said as he went to his room, intending to heal as much injuries as possible before then.

The streets of Stockholm
Muerte, Dies, and Kujaku.
The three strode through the streets of Stockholm, with Muerte far in his akuma form, leading the way. Dies was once more hooded and cloaked, with his sword in a concealed sheath just inside the cape of the cloak. Kujaku was bouncing along by Dies' legs, looking like nothing more than an exotic dog.
Dies' boots sloshed through the slush - melted ice mixed with the sewage of the city. It wasn't nice, but Kujaku slurped it up anyway. Dies didn't concern himself - the Akuma could pretty much consume anything.
Reaching a crossroad, Dies looked down, spotting a small, uprooted plant on the left hand street. Muerte's directions. The Noah twisted left, walking for another hundred meters before stopping as he saw movement in a door in the corner of his eye. Muerte poked his head out, eyes flicking both ways before stepping out and reverting to his human form - a large, skinny man with slits for eyes.
"Well?" Dies asked.
"One second." Muerte had rolled his eyes back in their sockets, and his tongue was moving around perfectly. Ah, yes. Another one of his talents. As an akuma designed for espionage, Muerte had both a photographic and an audiographic memory.
With his neck thrown back, Muerte began to talk in almost girlish tones.
"What is it!?"
"Yuu Kanda of the Black Order? "I'm Thomas, a finder sent by Komui. I have information on where the Doctor may have been last seen." The voice switched to a slightly more masculine one.
Muerte returned his neck to a normal position, staring at Dies as though asking for directions.
“Where did this happen?”
“A small house with no distinguishing features. Of course, I remember both the way and the house. Follow me, sir.”
Muerte ran off in his human form, and Dies and Kujaku followed.
* * *
They had been studying the house for around half an hour, and Dies had ascertained it was well defended. Every few minutes, there would be a rustling in the curtains as one of the people inside looked out, scanning for suspicious activity. Their gazes escaped Dies, however, who was sitting in the middle of the street looking out from inside his pocket dimension. Muerte had settled himself in a nearby tree, and was watching the top floor. To Dies’ chagrin, Muerte couldn’t get inside due to the firm construction of the house, despite his paper-thin body.
Kujaku was on an errand to the local city office to obtain a listing of medical services within the city. Based on what Muerte had overheard, the objective lay with the doctor. And it also seemed the exorcists weren’t quite aware of his location either, though Dies had to get there first.
“Damn. I need to get inside…”
Brute force wouldn’t work, as the Noah knew from experience that exorcists gave up little through interrogation. Smiling in his pocket plane, Dies constructed his plan.
* * *
Immediately after the finders had stared out of the windows, Dies disengaged the pocket plane, pulling his cape around him and keeping his head low. He rapped gently on the door, and a voice came out through a little slit.
“Who is it?”
“My name is.. Willian..” Dies used the first name that came to his head. “I work for Komui. I need to speak to Thomas, urgently. May I come in?”

Black Order Temporary HQ in Stockholm
"William?" The Finder Thomas wanted to open the door immediately, but Finder Sigmar, a veteran with white hair and many creases on his face, who was the support for the Exorcists on this mission, stopped him.
"Can you please tell us who is Komui in the Black Order?" He asked carefully, weary that this might be an ambush. Just then, the telephone rang, and as the cord was held by a Golem, Sigmar realized at once that this was a call from the Order. Picking up the phone, he motioned for Thomas to remain silent.
"Yes?" He said quietly, not wanting anyone outside the room to hear.
"Sigmar, this is Reever," the second of the Science Dept. said quietly as well, apparently hiding from someone.
"Reever? What's the matter?" Sigmar realized that something was very wrong.
"We've confirmed that Rave has left the Headquarters last night, having apparently gone rogue. We, uh, also confirmed that Komui used Komuirin IX to blast him from the HQ's topmost window."
"What did he do, slept with Lenalee?" Asked a surprised Sigmar - he was familiar with Rave and knew that while he and Komui constantly threatened to murder each other, in truth there was only one thing that could Komui go through with his threats.
"Actually... according to her, yes, that's exactly what he's done." Reever kept his voice very quiet, and Sigmar understood why. Komui wasn't just touchy about Lenalee; there was a world of pain waiting for anyone who laid hands on the girl. Of course there was something brewing there, but Sigmar never thought that the cold, rough Rave would go that far.
Sighing, he said into the phone, "understood. I will notify the Exorcists."
Reever thanked him and hung up, probably going to try and soothe the raging Komui. Sigmar immediately lifted his Golem and opened a radio channel, broadcasting the widest range he could.
"All Exorcists in the City of Stockholm, we have confirmed that the Exorcist Rave Pendragon has gone rogue and his current whereabouts are unknown. Therefore, should you sight him, immediately attempt to bring him in. You are authorized to use deadly force if at all necessary."
Lying his Golem down he turned back to the door, raising his voice again. "Whoever you are, it's obviously a fraud, so leave!" He knew he was taking a chance. Should this be a level 2 Akuma - or worse, one of the dreaded Noah - he was dead. Then again, he lived a full life. Dying wouldn't be so bad.

L's Theme (http://www.esnips.com/doc/4a48558c-e7b6-4913-a025-65f39aae2d96/Death_Note_-_Ls_Theme)
He ran through the streets as quickly as he dared, coming to a stop near a large house with yellowing walls. Leaning against the wall and breathing hard, he checked his leg. The blood stopped and his clothes were very glued to his wound. Gritting his teeth, he ripped the cloth away and checked the cut. Clean, and deep. And he had no bandages.
"E-Excuse me..." a timid voice said to his left, and he immediately lifted his head, ready to run. An Exorcist, a woman with shoulder-length brown hair with large eyes looked at him, staring at his wound. He was shocked to realize he had seen her before. This was Miranda, a new Exorcist from Germany. Silently cursing his bad luck, he stared at her hard. No point in answering her.
"What?" He said at length, the silence growing uncomfortable.
"Yo-your leg. C-can I help?" Rave gritted his teeth. He had no choice, with no bandages and the risk that the Exorcists will find him... he almost laughed at that thought. The Exorcists have already found him!
Suddenly Miranda's Golem made a strange sound and transmitted, "All Exorcists in the City of Stockholm, we have confirmed that the Exorcist Rave Pendragon has gone rogue and his current whereabouts are unknown. Therefore, should you sight him, immediately attempt to bring him in. You are authorized to use deadly force if at all necessary."
Rave gulped. This was bad. Miranda, having gotten a good look at him, recognized him suddenly, but instead of replying she pressed a button on her Golem which silenced it. "We need bandages," she said decisively. Rave practically gaped at her.
"What-?"
Miranda shook her head. "I can't bring you in bleeding like this. Besides..." she smiled softly, "right now you are a wounded man who needs medical care."
Rave shook his head, thankful that the Exorcists weren't machines to respond to orders. "Thank you," he said, and then tore a piece of his shirt off, tying it around his leg for a temporary bandage.
A short time later, they were both in the pharmacy, the doctor tying bandages around Rave's leg and shaking his head. "And how did you say this happened?"
"A butcher's knife slipped," said Rave slowly, looking at the doctor.
"Amazing... the cut is very straight, the flesh was practically sliced off. And by the state of your pants, I'd say it's been at least an hour since... how are you still on your feet? The loss of blood alone should be enough to make you sleep a week."
"I am... quite tough," replied Rave slowly. In fact, during all the time he had his Innocence on him as armor, the blood didn't flow. Apparently his Innocence bestowed limited healing capacities.
When the doctor was finished, Rave put on his pants, then sighed. He'd need new ones soon. However, the situation was much more complex now than before. Once they left the pharmacy, he turned to Miranda.
"Listen, Miss Miranda, I realize that you're here for just a short scouting and relay mission, but we're in need of help right now... well, the others are."
Miranda nodded. "Of course, Mister Rave! Of course I will help... in any way I can!"
Rave ran a hand on his brow. "Then here's what I'd need you to do... those monsters that attacked us weren't Akuma, so they are something else, far worse, I suspect. They are probably a sort of an experiment like the stuff Komui does, only on humans."
Miranda blinked. "Supervisor Komui made secret experiments?"
"Haven't you ever checked what's in the rooms that no one is supposed to open?"
"No..."
"Lucky you..."
((Ok, Exorcists, you get Miranda to tell you that the Doctor is most likely doing experiments on humans and that he was last seen is at the yellow house (that's a joke on a Russian expression, remind me to tell you all about it later) where you will face the four bosses separately (the house has four doors, choose who enters where). When - if - you have beaten the four bosses, you find the doctor missing. You will find papers indicating that he has performed illegal experiments on humans. And Rave will probably pop in into one of your fights, if I get the chance))

"Can you please tell us who is Komui in the Black Order?"
Dies growled slightly under his breath. He was cautious, more cautious than Dies had expected. Dies paused, sending a small telepathic communication to Muerte.
I might need a distraction
In the meantime, Dies attempted something else.
"You know just as well as i do! I don't have time for this! This information is urgent. Let me in, please."
When no response was given, Dies reasoned that the man who spoke must be elsewhere - most likely conferring with superiors. That was bad - he was certain there was no Willian in the Black Order.
"Whoever you are, it's obviously a fraud, so leave!"
Damn!
Dies was halfway through the process of breaking the door down when Muerte communicated telepathically.
"Dies, if you reveal yourself now, getting to this doctor person will be much harder. We NEED their information. Stay calm, lie your way out of this. He may be bluffing."
Dies growled. He had one more trick up his sleeve. The truth. Or half of it, at least.
"Alright, i'm not with the Order, and i don't work for Komui or even know who he is. I overheard the name. However, i am aware of the exorcist presence within this city. I witnessed a battle with a strange, "multiplying man" earlier. I also saw other strange sights, none of which bode well. Trees that tried to kill someone, for a start. Please, i think i have useful information. At least talk to me face to face."
"Nice. You can kill me the Killer Tree, babeh!"

Sigmar looked at the door intently. Whoever this was claimed they knew about the Black Order. Also, they lied about their original purpose. Something here didn't add up... he glanced at Thomas, who had a very serious look on his face. Whoever this was seemed to really want to get into the house. There had to be a way to make sure this wasn't a death trap...
He decided to take that chance, but with a slight precaution. He put a vest on him, which from a casual glance appeared to be a simple strap for bullets. In truth, this was an explosive vest that would explode from the click of a button. He was willing to risk his life for this best, if this was a trap, he'd try to take them down with him.
He motioned to Thomas to leave through the back door and inform the Exorcists of the doctor's last whereabouts - Sigmar knew nothing, of course, not having been told. Then when the other Finder left, he approached the door and opened it.
"Who are you?"

Dies looked into the face of an old man as the door opened. He'd sent a telepathic message to Muerte the instant the door had opened, and the Akuma had slipped inside, able to blend in with any wooden structures in the house.
Obviously, Dies couldn't continue the lie in a face-to-face conversation. He simply needed to buy Muerte enough time to hear something valuable.
"Yo, Dies, there's no-one else here?"
"My Name is Willian Belugas Playstation Three the fourth. Long name, but my parents rather liked honorifics." Dies offered a faint smile, the kind someone in need of help would give. He heard Muerte's message, and began to make silent calculations.
"I saw a battle between some Black Order people and a monster.. thing... there were... trees involved..."
Damnit, Muerte! Hurry up!
"Yo, Boss-man. The back door's been flung open. Looks like they left pretty sharpish. Someone was expecting you, methinks."
Dies snarled out loud.
"Oh, there was one more thing."
Dies reached into his coat, grabbing the hilt of his sword.
"The Millenium Earl sends his regards."
Instantly, the Noah blasted into his dark form, eyes flashing with malice as he gave the man a single second to contemplate his fate, before rising Rinne'tenshou and slamming it down, through the old guy's torso...

As soon as the words left the Noah's mouth, he clicked the button held tightly in his right hand. He had enough time to say a mental goodbye to all his Finder friends when the sword plunged into his torso. But the Noah was one second too late, and the vest exploded into a massive fireball.

Hie remaining eye became teary as he thought of the old Finder's sacrifice, but he understood that it had to be done for the betterment of mankind. "Doctor Roberts was a well known surgeon in town. His fame come especially from saving the life of a merchant who was thought to die soon from a strange disease. However, he retired a few months ago."
He paused and breathed deeply, then continued.
"The merchant himself has withdrawn to his private house and hasn't been seen since a few weeks ago - maybe two or three. As for the Doctor himself, he was last seen, along with the Finders, in his home, at the south of town. That's all we know. However, there may be Akuma or Noah in town. "In case you need it, I heard off really rough battles here. Also I have a message for you."
"A message?" Jean asked.
"I suspect the Doctor you are looking for have been making experiments on humans, transforming them into creatures such as plant-like monsters."
"Those things from before," Kanda murmured, sporting an annoyed look.
"Last he was seen I heard was in some yellow house."
"Alright, let's get a move on before any more things ambush us," Kanda commanded as he tapped the Finder to lead the way.
"Are you coming Miranda?" Jean politely asked.
"Sorry, I have to lieve for a reconnaissance mission. I bid you good luck," waved Miranda as she turned the other way.

Glancing at his flesh, he saw it begin to stitch itself together. It stung where he touched it, but he was a Noah - he didn't die that easily. The idiotic man had given his life for nothing.
Dies finally strode out of the back door, wreathed in billowing smoke and ashes. He grinned at Muerte, who was waiting for him. Dies wasn't an experienced tracker, but there were clear signs of footprints in the thin layer of snow. Nodding to Muerte, the akuma dissapeared, chasing after the exorcist. Dies and Kujaku
"This'll be the one, then?"
Dies and Kujaku were flipping through the assorted sheets of paper. Well, Dies was. Kujaku was going through the remains of the house, looking for food. Dies was pointing at a small scrap of text, referring to one "Dr. Roberts." A well known surgeon, he was recently retired. His most notable achievement was saving the life of a respected merchant. Dies noted all this; though due to the doctor's retired status, there were no contact details.
He fed the papers to Kujaku while standing up and sending a telepathic wire to Muerte.

Muerte watched the short exchange between the petit brown-haired exorcist and the others with a chuckle. Dies would be pleased. Muerte finally had solid information. Hearing a slight telepathic "ping!" from the Noah, Muerte replied instantly;
"Yessir! They've just recieved more information on the doctor. He's the one who made those plant-creatures attack them earlier. He's in a yellow house, apparently. I can play you back the conversation but that's pretty much it."
"Well done. Are they aware of your presence?"
Muerte glanced at them. Their innocence would most likely be resonating with his presence, but they certainly couldn't see him. Unless one of them had tracking abilities..
"No."
"I'm en route. Keep an eye out."

Kaze took a deep breath, and pushed open the door, only to see a blueish green skinned claw came slashing down onto him. Almost automatically he raised his sword arm up to block. To his surprise, the sharp tip of the claw was in his sholder before his blade came up to knock it aside.
Kaze lept backwards, and examined the small cut in his shoulder. It was a shallow cut, and in his opinion it was worth it. A small cut is nothing, espically now that kaze knew how fast that creature moves.
"You should have dealt me a more severe blow before i gather more infomation about your prowess. You're a fool. Level 3 Innocence Activate."
At once all 8 blades of his appeared, and with the 8 tails emerging from his tail bone. Just as the transformation ended, Kaze looked up to see the guardian had its front 2 claws high above his head, preparing the drive the 2 points through him.
Realisating too late that there was no way his strength could beat the creature's, he lamely raised his arms in a feeble attempt to block, or so it seemed. Just as Ganneth slammed down onto him, Kaze's body erupted into flames, the fire blasting against the creature and forcing it backwards, all the while roaring in pain. Kaze got up from the crack in the floor, bleeding due to the Ganneth's attack, but otherwise the flames did not seem to harm him.
"Mystra's Blessing. You have the honor to be the first to experience this ability. My skin bursts into flame upon contact, dealing you equal damage of how much damage you deal to me."
"So be it." Ganneth muttered. It was the first time Kaze heard him talk, but before he could comment on that, Ganneth charged again.
-------------------------------------------------
Mystra's Blessing- Kaze's skin is covered is a mystical fire that burns anything that touches his skin, dealing back the same amount of damage to the attacker that attacked him. (eg: Kaze was hit by a blade for 6 damage, a bursy of fire erputs and spills over the attacker dealing 6 damage too). Disadvantages are it only works if the attacker is melee, and that Kaze still takes the damage.

The Second Door
Jean:
"Who...What are you?" a stunned Jean shakily asked as the creature approached the exorcist.
The creature breathed heavily as it stood there silently. It had an odd-shaped head, resembling some sort of a helmet, with a blunt face and downturned horns. It's body was almost entirely covered with a blood-red color and had bat-like wings in the lower body, as its eyes glowed in the darkness.
"I am Joshua...," the creature introduced himself in a deep, breathy voice as it wielded its silver sword. "Prepare to perish."
Jean didn't waste any time letting the strange creature attack, as he shouted "Innocence, activate!" and released a full powered Blue Bolt.
The creature named Joshua only drew his sword in front of him as the shot of lightning was absorbed by the blade. Jean was shocked as his attack was useless.
"It's no use...my sword absorbs energy attacks like your puny lightning."
Joshua then ran towards Jean, grasping his head and slammed him into the wall. Jean coughed up blood as his face was still frozen in shock. The creature disappeared, and there was no sound of impact when he ran into the wall.
Joshua's hand then grabbed Jean's head again..through the wall. "Additionally, my face ability allows me to walk through solid objects," the creature said as he threw Jean to the floor.
"It's over, exorcist."

The Third Door
Ganneth:
"Fool!" the creature known as Ganneth shouted as he slashed the exorcist again. Ganneth was hurt by the flames but smiled as the exorcist took more damage than last time.
"Behold my Cutter legs. They vibrate like saws so your defenses are reduced by half," Ganneth taunted, as he began charging green ectoplasm energy in his legs.
"You're ability is good, but it can't do anything about ranged attacks!"
The exorcist flew back to the wall as he was hit by the ectoplasm charged. The beast laughed as began charging another attack.
[Damage done: 19]
Ganneth's ability:
Power: Ectoplasm shot: fires Ectoplasm from his hands to hit enemies.
Cutter legs: legs are constantly vibrating, effectively causing a saw-like effect when attacking (defenses are reduced to 1/2 of original)

Kaze groaned. Now that hurt. He wanted to curse, but settled for a shrug, and with a flick of his willpower the 4 blades floating idly near him at once lept forward. 3 moved to intercept Ganneth, while the other darted in front of Kaze to shield him. Kaze himself redied his 4 blades and fell into a defensive pose.
With a roar of defiance Ganneth knocked one of the blades aside, and grabbed another, ignoring a slash made by the 3rd as the 3rd blade stabbed into his arm. Clutching one of the blade with a hand (gettin cut in the proccess, as all surfaces of the blades are coated in Innocence particles that buzz randomly up and down the length of the blade, making the surface not unlike a chain saw.), he knocked the final blade protecting kaze and prepared to stab downwards... but kaze had disappeared.
Ganneth halted in confusion, then suddently dark blue arcs of electricity ran up and down his monsterous body, not hurting him at all. Confused, he turned around... loads slower. Just as sudden, 7 barbed tails from Kaze stabbed downwards, each of them finding a soft spot on Ganneth; head, neck, shoulders, chest, arms. He roared in pain again and looked up, to see Kaze's wings beating overhead, keeping Kaze afloat. Just then, the final tail lashed downwards, piercing into his eye. The organ burst apart, blood spilling out of the socket and dribbling down the face.
"Your attack is just a wee bit stronger than me, but you cant fare well against sword fighting can you?" Kaze called from above, confident he might have a chance to bring Ganneth down after all. "And are you wondering what the arcs of electricity is? Its my Lockdown ability, which halves your speed."
With sudden furiousity Ganneth lept upwards, and grabbed Kaze by the ankle. Caught off guard, Kaze could only gasp as Ganneth bit into his leg.
Kaze endured much pain in his life, but this hurt a lot, somehow. He screamed, his screams echoing, even out of the room to where the other exorcists are.
----------------------------------------------
Lockdown- Prevents the use of a certain ability and slows the victim to half of its original speed, rounded down. (eg: speed 34 becomes 17)
Kaze's HP: 29 - 16 - 7 (bite) = 6 HP
Ganneth:
Health: 95- 7 (blade in arm) - 6 (cut into palm) - 3 x 7 (7 tails) - 7 (destroyed eye) = 54
Speed: 17 (Lockdown ability)

Joshua
"It's over, exorcist."
Bringing down his clawed foot, Joshua intended to crush Jean's skull, however the exorcist rolled out of the way while creating a shadow clone.
The creatures foot was awash in a swarm of electricity, which was not able to absorb the attack. Howling in anger, Joshua dashes towards Jean, sword held low and to the side.
Unable to block such a swing, Jean slams himself into the ground ducking the large blade, though that placed him in an inopportune position, it was better than being sliced in half.
Plunging the blade downwards, Jean once again rolls out of the way, though not creating a shadow clone this time as the blade would simply absorb it.
From a kneeling position jean launched another blue bolt aimed low at Joshua's feet, then another towards the upper right of his body. Blocking both, with the sword in the position of the latter, Jean skirts to the side and slashes out with is dagger towards the exposed midsection.
Drawing a line which seeps blood along the torso of Joshua, Joshua reacts by twisting his torso and backhanding the exorcist. Expecting the speed of the cumbersome sword, this took Jean by surprise.

Kaze's screaming stopped after a while. Gritting his teeth against the pain, he tried to tug away, but his feet was too deep in Ganneth's throat for him to pull out.
"Guess its time for me to use most of my abilities then," Kaze thought mutely. "Activate Lolth's Realm."
At once, Kaze turns to smoke and enters another realm of dimension, finally getting his leg free from the jaws. He is still in the room and could still see Ganneth, but the ability makes Kaze unable to deal of dealt damage for some time. In the meantime, he's safe. Taking a deep breath, Kaze starts his imbalanced abilities.
"Blessing of the Gods, Activate. (Gets a +10 boost for each stats, can only be used when losing a battle, up to 2 times per Arc)
Dreamwalker, Activate. (Kaze falls into a trance, and turns into a pure offensive killing robot. Tatics become 0, HP decreases, but innoence and attack increases.)
Avatar of Tempus, Activate. (When kaze's health falls under 20, his appearance changes. A black mask appears on his face, spiked carapace appears on his body, and his strength increases. (Attack power is doubled, eg: from 21 to 42))"
Health: 6 + 10 - 5 (dreamwalker) = 11
Speed: 20 + 10= 30
Tactic: 5 +10 - 15 (dreamwalker) = 0
Attack: 22 + 10 +10, doubles = 84
Innocence: 14 + 10 +10 = 28
Wth all of that done, Kaze opened his eyes and admired his new form. He looked pretty much like the mutated Rave the last time, with spiked carapace and a black mask over his face. Besides that, he couldnt think of much else. The dreamwalker ability made him a pure killing robot, not much capability of thinking.
"Lolth's Realm, deactiiiiiiiiiivate." he hissed.
A split second later, he appeared back in the room, materalised fully. Ganneth, who was confused and standing in the middle of the room, roared again and ignoring the features on Kaze, lept forward to attack.
"I guess this is the final attack," Kaze hissed at Ganneth, and with a wave of his hand, sent all the 8 blades plunging deep into his chest, Kaze diving into Ganneth together. Kaze felt his hand wedge inbetween the rib cage, and with a furious roar, plunged his hand through the body. Suddently, a sharp pain raced through his head. Kaze blinked the blood and looked upwards, to see the tip of a rib bone jutting through his skull. He wondered (he couldnt fear anymore) that Ganneth would still attack him, but it was unfounded.
His entire body started trashing, and Kaze thought he was dead for several moments before he realised that it was Ganeth's body shuddering in its death throes instead of his.
He was still stuck inside Ganneth's chest cavaity, but was too exhausted to move.
-------------------------------------------------
Kaze: 11 - 8 (rib stuck in skull) = 3
Ganneth: 54 - 52 (8 blades tearing through the chest, Kaze's attack power of 84) - 18 (raw innocence power, Kaze's innocence is 28) = -16 DEAD

The Yellow House
Dies, Muerte, and Kujaku
"Four of 'em just went in there, and another guy, the doctor, i think, just legged it. He's being chased by that Kanda person."
"Follow them." Dies spoke to Muerte, gesturing with his hands.
The akuma switched into his paper-thin form, blending in with the ground and dissapearing. Dies and Kujaku, meanwhile, eyed the house. Faint sounds of battle rang out from between it's walls, and the Noah was puzzled.
"So then, judging from the sound, it appears the exorcists have entered combat. The most logical scenario is that the doctor has set more of his creations on them. My, my... the Earl will be interested in this."
Dies walked to a nearby rock, slicing part of it using his sword to create a makeshift chair. He sat down, resting his arms on the rests.
He would wait.

Kanda was chasing the Doctor at full speed, surprised that someone who sat all day long could run so fast. He almost caught him when a figure appeared from the right, slashing with a glittering sword. He dodged, lifting Mugen up to block simultaneously with finding his balance.
The other person was no other than Rave, whose face were revealed when the cowl of the robe lifted momentarily.
"Rave? What the hell are you doing here?" Kanda retreated quickly, measuring his opponent. While he was certain he is the superior swordsman, Rave's Innocence would prove a problem.
Rave didn't answer, but slashed in quickly, rapping Kanda twice on Mugen in the space of a second. Kanda was surprised by the speed, but he remembered their orders so he attacked, slapping away Rave's sword and going in, but to his surprise he found Rave's sheathe in the way, slapping away his sword and smashing him on the side.
Kanda rolled away, his brow furrowed. Rave wasn't a dual-wielder, he usually used only one sword. This new attack surprised Kanda, but he didn't care. He had his orders.
Lifting Mugen up, he slashed across, meeting Rave's incoming stab, then slammed his sword down to block Rave's sheathe and then stepped forward into Rave's reach to avoid the next slash. Rave seemed to have predicted the moves though, and sidestepped quickly, creating enough distance to put his sword in there, aiming for Kanda's abdomen. Kanda jumped to the side, rotated and slashed his sword across, bringing it in line with Rave's eye.
Rave dodged by unceremoniously dropping to the ground, letting the blade pass above him, and stabbing up with both the sword and the sheathe which Kanda dodged by jumped to the side and rolling on the ground. Rave followed him, stepping up and repeatedly stabbing into the ground, missing the rolling Kanda by inches.
The blue-haired man jumped up, infuriated, and made several quick stabbing motions, all of which met the flickering sword and sheathe combo Rave was rotating around his body. Angry, Kanda activated Mugen.
"Kaichu, Ichigen!" A swarm of mutated insectoids rushed at Rave, who seemed completely undisturbed and actually sheathed his sword. Kanda suddenly realized that a suit of brown-and-black armor settled on Rave, fully protecting him from the insects' attacks. Suddenly Rave jumped back, and a chain shot from his shoulder, clanking on a rooftop some distance away and suddenly dragging Rave away.
Kanda stared for a few moments and turned. The doctor was nowhere to be seen. Cursing, he turned back to the laboratory.

Vergil Afterwards (http://www.supload.com/listen?s=PQ4V6NFVIEPC)
The hallway was empty save for the carcass of the strange monster and the Exorcist that downed it. Sword Dancer slowly neared it, looking carefully at the monster. It's bluish skin cast a strange reflection over the hallway's white walls. Drawing his sword he cut away the flesh that held the Exorcist, and removed him from there carefully. He carried the child to the entrance and laid him there.
"You'll be fine."
And left.

The Fourth Door
Danthra sneered as her opponent stepped in. Without waiting she released a shot of ethereal energy at the man, who barely dodged the attack. Smiling, she ran towards him and before he could react, kicked him in the gut.
"And who's the weakling here?" she taunted as she laughed at the exorcist trying to get up, only to be kicked down again. "Answer me!"
She frowned, as she despised the pathetic coughing of blood. Charging her hands with the same ethereal glow from before, she waited for the exorcist to face her and show her his face toward death.
"Well then, just die there nameless exorcist!"
