The Silent Noise - A Russian Roulette

Rest, with an occasional cloud...

A month has passed since the fight in the Asian HQ. No word has been heard from the Japan-headed teams, although the HQ remained calm. It was assumed that since at least two Generals were at the location, including the elusive, hard to find Cross. The Exorcists that were not sent to Japan with the various teams split, each sent to different mission, or often lounging in their 'home (the HQ).

However, sometimes, looking up to the skies, they see a cloud...

Rave, now officially code named Sword Dancer by the Order's High Council escaped after the incident in the Asia HQ, remaining hidden and escaping all the attempts to find him. He has been declared rogue and an order has been given to attack him on sight.

The first droplets fall...

In Russia, the Kremlin has collapsed. This sudden and unexplained occurrence left the world powers in complete confusion. Not only there were no signs of foul play involved, but it seemed as though the building collapsed due to a rapid aging of the foundations, which fell after a strange earthquake. The absolutely dumbfounded authorities investigated the situation carefully, however, nothing came up.

At first, the Vatican refused to send out Exorcists to investigate what appeared to be a natural occurrence, but repeated pleas from the Russian government - who feared that after the loss of their national symbol their rule will weaken - made the Vatican send two Exorcists on what they deemed secretly "A wild goose chase".

The Exorcist arrived at the Russian capital of Moscow to discover that there are no clues whatsoever to any foul play or the involvement of the Earl of Millennium in this situation. As they discover nothing, they are ordered to leave.

The Storm erupts...

Just as they are about to leave Russia, they are confronted by a pair of special individuals, two Russian men who apparently possess Innocence, but they are not Exorcists of the Black Order.

They must now investigate for the origins of these individuals.

Your objective:

As this is the first of the Silent Noise cases, you do not yet have any information about the enemies or what they do. Therefore, I expect creative playing from you while you discover about your enemies. Your job is to locate the place where the fake Exorcists originated from. Once you do, you will need to locate the device that caused the crumbling of the Kremlin. Kill the boss, and teleport to China for the final act.

Power:

Fake Innocence: Nero Angelo (Black Angel)

1. Kempo: this woman is a master of nearly all martial arts, although she does not use weapons. Her acrobatics and movements are first rate - you really won't beat her in martial arts without extensive experience.

2. Strength: Don't let her appearance - and breasts - fool you. She's as strong as two men. Unlike her counterparts in other countries, she is fully physical.

3. Angelo mode: She can switch into Angelo Mode, which gives her a pair of wings... from the hair. These two glow in white light all the time. They are also the only part of her that can be damaged while in Angelo mode.

4. Super Defend: she is completely immune to damage while in Angelo Form. In order to remove her Angelo form, her wings need to be damaged. She will then take 5 posts to heal them, and may use Angelo Form again (not necessarily will).

5. Summon: While in Angelo mode, she can summon a large dark knight with a huge broadsword to her aid. His stats are identical to her normal ones, but his armor makes hurting him difficult: he needs to take a total of 50 damage before he's hurt..

Other notes:

While it sure seems this boss is hardest to beat, I trust it to you people to get around that. She's not quite as difficult to damage as her counterparts in other places. Her personality, as well, is more direct and more prone to challenges - use it to your advantage if you're smart.

Also, as this is the first arc, you have no knowledge of any foul play. You may be more open to ambushes by Fake Innocence users and Akuma (if there are any) until after you find out about the baddies.

Another addition now is that a some Noah may choose to come here and aid the Fake Innocence use boss IF they so choose.

In addition, the Boss is now aided by the Earl (it shall be RP'd shortly by me, or you may do so AWAY from your own characters (as they lack any knowledge of the boss, or that the Earl is now involved)), and therefore shall have a level 1-2 Akuma guard with her. Level 2's have 66 EXP each, please distribute as you see fit and use them as reference fo stats (do NOT kill Akuma from a single shot unless you're at half-General level already, and even then, provide some interesting play here!).

And finally, this arc is COMPLETELY freeform. Unless you godmode (randomly stumbling on the baddies' HQ counts as godmoding, and no, you can't follow them there, since they don't go there, you'll need to find another way. Try looking at their areas of action (up to you to decide where - any patterns should be easy to spot), there will be NO GM intervention (aside from being players, of course).

Kenshin Himura (previously known as Takeshi Himura) - Train towards Moscow, Russia
Having taken the first train out, Kenshin was sitting in a comparnment along with two finders who were accompanying him. They took a train to Paris, where they were forced to stay as the next train to Germany didn't depart till the next morning. It took them a day and a half to travel to their current location, and it would probably take them around 2 more days to arrive at Moscow.

Kenshin checked his map with the finders. They were passing through Germany and they would be inside Russia by morning of the next day, and arriving at Moscow by the following morning, if they were lucky. And so far they hasn't been.

Leaving the map in his bed, Kenshin and the other two finders left the room to have lunch. Hopefully it would be good.

Kenshin thought of Kimiko, who had stayed at the order recovering from an attack in their journey back from the Asian Branch. Her weapon was destroyed and her innocence damaged. Luckly though, it was not destroyed and both Komui and Hebraska were able to recover it, though at a price. It seemed like the damage the innocence took was so great that it lost some of its ability, but being reborn it gained new ones. Thus Kimiko was forced to stay so she could get used to her new innocence as well as recovering.

With lunch done, Kenshin and the finders went back to their room, to play some cards as training before they met Allen again, whereever that kid was...

[Toukestu Zero]

Zero watched Mikey in amazement as he showed all the abilities of his new innoncece.

"Okay," Zero admitted. " That's a power I've never expected it to be."

"What did you think it would be?" Mikey asked. " I expected it to have something to do with a bear."

"I thought it would turn you into a stinky fat pig. It suits you anyway."

Round 8...(Sigh!) begin.

"geez, sometimes Takai watches over me too much," Kaze pouted as he swept his hair away from his face, the rest of his hair flying straight out behind him.

"well he's your older brother-" the Finder began.

"blah blah blah..." Kaze muttered. He was sitting on the top of the train with a Finder accompanying him. Instead of being in a carriage, he had opted to try sitting with fresh air around him for once.

"Too bad Takai cant come along this time," the Finder continued. Kaze merely nodded.

Arriving at Russia

Kaze hopped down from the train and read through the report for the 50000th time, and nodded.

"Alright, lets take a look at the strange rubble now."

The Finder agreed, so thus they set off, not noticing a lone figure of a man leaning against a wall not far away, his eyes following them as they made their way.

Kenshin Himura - In Moscow, Russia

Kenshin and the finders finally arrived at the capital of Russia, Moscow. After getting out of the train, Kenshin and one of the finders started walking towards what was left of the Kremlin. Kenshin has left the other finder in the station to meet with any other exorcists who came.

Kenshin moved into the restricted area. A man, that looked as a poilcemen, tried to stop him, but after seeing the cross in his left he left him and went to find the colonel.

"I'm glad you have come, exorcist. My name is Colonel Vladimir ((only russian name I know, and not even sure if it is one)). I have sent my best men to look into the Kremlin, but we have found nothing that may lead us to the reason of the collapse. You are free to look around. I bid you a good day." With this said, the colonel left.

"What a good colonel." The finder said. "He told us everything he knew."

"...Or that's what he wanted us to believe." Kenshin said. "It was quite strange, he didn't even let me talk. And he may know something more about this. Come on, let's look around."

Kenshin and the finder went around the ruins, looking for anything that wasn't supposed to be there. Then they went inside a tunnel the workers managed to make, but this didn't help much as the inside was a total mess. Even if there's really something here, it'll take months if not years to clear this place!

"The colonel was right...there's nothing here, or there may be but it's ahrd to know..." explained Kenshin. Sunset was coming, and he would rather find a place to rest. "Let's go...we'll come back tomorrow..."

Kenshin and the finder left the place, following the main street towards the train station. In the way, they found two exorcists he have not met yet...

((Stony, Kenshin is about to meet your exorcists. You may go to the ruins and look, but there's isn't anything there (yet...maybe) so if you wish you can take us to a Inn.

Or, you could get a message from Komui asking us how it'd go and telling us to come back, which would be the clue for the fake exorcists to come in. Up to you.

Same goes for you Zero, but make it interesting if you do.

Just as Kaze and the Finder left the train station, they ran into another exorcist and 2 more Finders.

"Oh hello," Kaze said. "Im Kaze, nice to see you."

"Kenshin," the exorcist replied and shook Kaze's hand. "Nice to meet you too. It's near sunset now, lets stay at an Inn for the moment."

Kaze agreed, and thus they decided to stay at a nearby Inn for the night.

Late at night at the Inn

"The exorcists have fallen asleep," the innkeeper whispered to the shadows.

"Good. Make sure you keep an eye on them," the shadows rippled, and a slender-built man stepped out of it, having used one of his innocence's abilities. "Their presence here could spark trouble. At dawn i'll send 2 of our men to kill them. Ironicly, the men would use innocence to defeat the exorcist from the Black Order."

"Very well."

[Toukestu Zero]

(No thanks kenshin. I'm bad at that.)

After the heated battle have ended, Zero summoned a Finder to follow them. They booked three tickets for the train ride and hopped on.

What the hell were they doing? The Finder thought to himself as he looked at Mikey's black eye.

Zero read his report. "Visit the ruins?" Zero asked the Finder as they alighted from the train.

"Uh-uh." The finder shook his head, " we're meeting Kenshin Himura first. We'll meet him in the inn."

"What's that?" Mikey asked. Everyone turned to look at him. Zero gave him a you-are-a-freaking-moron look. And the finder gave a Come-on-he's-a-newbie! look.

Then the finder explained. " Kenshin Himura. He was previously known as Takeshi." Zero nodded. "Indeed, he's an exorcist just like the rest of us. Simple enough, dumbass."

Mikey glared at him. "More?" he asked the finder.

Zero cut in. "Go look at his characther thread. I have a laptop here. Use it." and handed it to Mikey.

"Ah crap. There's no connection here."

[Kenken]

The next morning Kenshin, Kaze and their finders left very earlier. By chance they were able to miss the two figures who have been sent to kill them.

Kenshin proposed to check the Kremlin once again. ""If we're lucky, we'll find something." said Kenshin.

"What if we don't?" asked Kaze.

"We follow our orders and go back."

"Master Kenshin... Colonel what-his-name is coming." pointed the finder.

"Back again? and you brought another exorcist?!" asked the Colonel, surprised.

"Not a problem, is it?" asked Kenshin. The Colonel was taken back, which only helped Kenshin's suspicion to grow.

"Of course ... not ..."

"Umm Colonel, have you found anything new?" asked Kaze, looking around. Kenshin also looked around and not much has changed, except for the fact that people were starting to move the stones out in an attempt to clear the place. Good luck, thought Kenshin.

"No. We are trying to clear the are, as well as looking for any clues, and..." the Colonel handed Kenshin and Kaze a letter. "...a letter from the Vatican." Kenshin noticed that the Colonel seemed very happy. Soon enough Kenshin found out why. The letter told them to go back to the Black Order immediately.

"Well Kaze, we got our orders. Let's go back." said Kenshin, turning to leave.

"Wait, Kenshin!" shouted Kaze, "Aren't we supposed to find out what's going on here?"

"We got orders from the Vatican to go back. Also they don't seem to want our help. I agree, is strange that they asked for it before," Kenshin added when he sensed Kaze wanting to say something, "And, there isn't anything strange here. But if we're lucky, we'll find out something." Kaze didn't understood, not even after Kenshin winked at him. Not surprising since they just met, but soon Kaze would know what he meant.

And the time came faster than expected. Kenshin turned into an alley, big enough to walk freely, even fight, but also small enough not to be noticed. Kenshin activated his innocence and use the 2nd Roar, Kurtulmak's Nest of Broken Eggs. Kaze watched as small dragons were born from the eggs. Then they flew away, scaterring around the city.

"This way, even if we leave, we'll get information of anything happening in the city, and if we find soemthing interesting we'll show it to Komui and come back," said Kenshin.

"That won't be necesary, exorcist." A voice came from behind them. Turning around, Kenshin and Kaze saw two men, holding strange weapons and walking towards them.

[Toukestu Zero]

The finder followed behind as the other two trudged on towards the inn. Not knowing the others have already have left the inn. They turned up and to their surprise, they wasn't around.

Mikey turned to the finder. "You said he would be here."

The finder sighed. "We must have turned up too late." He reasoned. "They have probably left earlier."

So the three had no choice but to go off on their own. They headed on for a bit, when Zero suddenly spotted Kaze and the rest. But the strange part was that he noticed some men were walking towards them, wielding weapons.

He nudged the finder. "What now?"

[Kenken]

Kenshin looked at them. They were taller than Kenshin, with broad backs, wearing dark green suits, with dark glasses ((ring any bells?)). One of them had a big claymore on his back, while the other had a halberd on his hand.

"Who are you?" asked Keshin, "and how do you know who we are?"

"There's no point in telling who we are, exorcist, as you won't be remembering. As for your second question...is it really a question?"

Kenshin agreed, mad at himself. Kaze also looked at them, but he hasn't activated his innocence. "Well, are you here to give us a message, or attack us?"

"Exorcist, do you only ask silly questions? We're here to kill you. But if you wish to live, then leave this place and never come back ... but you'll be leaving your innocence with us."

"Sorry, I don't think like giving you Tenshou Kyuutouryuu. And now I know there's something going. I can't leave, right Kaze?" Kaze nodded in agreement.

"Then...DIE!"

The man with the halberd has charged at them, lifting his weapon high. Stupid, thought Kenshin, as he drew Tenchuu and drop it on the floor. Tenchuu landed on the ground on its tip as Kaze, surprised, asked, "What are you doing?!" and quickly activated his innocence, but Kenshin simply kicked him away. "Step back, this might get a bit rough.

The man swung his weapon, aiming to strike on Kenshin's head, but Kenshin was planning on this. Taking a small step to the right, he dodged it, and quickly kick the man in the face.

The man retreated as Kenshin grabbed Tenchuu and strike at the man's weapon with a swordbreaker technique. But it didn't work. Kenshin, surprised as he was, couldn't afford to waste time thinking as the man counter-attacked with the halberd's end. Parrying it aside, Kenshin thought how it was possible that it didn't break.

"It's because your weapon can only destroy normal weapons. But my halberd is special, as it has the power of innocence!!"

Then, swinging around, the man attacked. Energy exploded in front of Kenshin. Even though he was surprised, Kenshin remained calmed, and easily dodged it. Using the wall's surface, Kenshin landed behind the man. But just as he was about to stab him, Kenshin turned around and blocked the second man's claymore.

"Good senses, exorcist!" said the first man.

Kenshin glare at him, and saw him attacking him with the tip of the halberd. Kenshin dodged it by moving to his right, but the one with the claymore did too, although moving to the left. Then both of them slashed their weapons at Kenshin, who was against the wall. Between the sword and the wall, eh? thought Kenshin as he jumped out of the way and landed in fornt of Kaze.

"Why haven't used your innocence yet?" asked Kaze.

"Because, while fighting the first one, the other was watching, trying to see my abilities. I noticed this and instead was trying to find an opportunity to kill the first man with a single strike. When I had it, the second man attacked and prevented me from taking the opportunity. He probably got tired of watching and will want to kill us fast."

"Alright, so what's the plan?"

"The plan is, you stay here and watch while I deal with them. There may be more around and watching, trying to get to know us. We can't let that happen unless we can kill them, but it seems I will have to use my innocence... at least, they won't see yours for a while."

"Done chatting?" asked one of the men.

"Yah, ready to receive your one-way ticket to the afterlife?" replied Kenshin. Then taking a Chudan no kamae, Kenshin activated his innocence.

"Level 3 Tenshou Kyuutouryuu, activate. 9th Roar, Draco's Blades of Honour."

Eleven golden blades appeared around Kenshin, and started circling him. Then Kenshin charged. Both men got ready, but they focused on the blades around Kenshin. Idiots, I can't use all of them yet. And I wasn't planning to.

"Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, Kuzuryuzen!"

Kenshin struck the man with the halberd in 9 places at the same time, and landed a few meters behind the one with the claymore, who turned around.

Kenshin commanded one blade to come at him. It started spinning in Kenshin's left palm. Just as the man swung his claymore at him, the rest of the blades circled around him at high speeds, forming a crystal barrier, which parried the claymore away. Then Kenshin, using both Tenchuu and the Blade of Honour in his left hand, struck at the man's head, and turning around he beheaded him.

Disactivating Draco's Blades of Honour, Kenshin came to the other one, who was laying on the floor almost dead, and stabbed him. The last thing the man saw were Kenshin's eyes, which had turned shining blue.

Cleaning and then sheathing Tenchuu, Kenshin approached Kaze, who was surprised by the fight. Kenshin turned around and said, "Oh... I think I got carried away. My bad." And while his eyes turned back to violet, Kenshin saw another exorcists and finders walking towards them.

Kaze shrugged. "Nice fight." he agreed, and turned to meet the other exorcists who arrived.

"Hey there, we met before," Kaze smiled. "I remember you two... You're the 2 little boys who always argue in the previous mission arent you?"


Turning away before the exorcists could reply, he continued. "Well, im not leaving this damn place yet. They ordered us to leave, but since they didnt specify when, lets look around besides your little dragons."

He grinned. "And since it seems the colonel wants us gone, lets piss him off; im staying."

Kenshin thought for a moment. Should they split up and look around the city? Or should they go all together, in a group? Kenshin knew spliting up would make it easier to find some clue, but it would leave them open for attack. But keeping together would, in a way, attract more attention.

Kenshin told these to the others, who agreed to split up and look around the city. After much talking, it was decided Kenshin would go talk with the Colonel, while the others looked around the city for clues.

"And don't forget if you're attacked, send a message through your golems," said Kenshin before departing. Each exorcist had a finder with them, so they could call HQs and tell them of any find.

Which is what Kenshin did. "Hello?~" was the answer he got after he called.

"Komui?"

"Oh! Kenshin-kun! What enws you got?"

"Well, we got a letter from the Vatican telling us to leave immediately, and then we were attacked by two men with fake innocence. I took take care of them, they weren't in the mood to talk."

"Fake innocence? I see," said Komui, serious now, "I will tell the others. Thank you Kenshin-kun. Please keep investigating and contact us if anything happens."

"I will Komui."

Hanging up, Kenshin and the finder continued walking. Once they got there, they saw Colonel Vladimir walking towards them.

"Why are you still here? I thought you got a dismission letter!" said the Colonel.

"And how would you know about it? The seal was still in place," said Kenshin. He looked around but he saw no man like the ones that attacked him and Kaze.

"I w-was notified about it!" said the Colonel, but Kenshin ignored him. "Now, leave this to us, we don't need you."

"You sure did. Or at least the government did, Colonel. Anyways, I am not leaving. I was attacked by two men, and after contacting my superior I was given orders to continue investigating. And I will start here," said Kenshin, walking towards the ruins. Colonel simply followed him.

"What are you looking for? You already looked here, and you found nothing."

"I looked on the outside. But not on the inside," replied Kenshin.

"It will take months to clear this up!" argued the Colonel, pointing at the workers.

"And my patience grows thin, Colonel. As well as my time. Order for everyone working here right now to leave and to stay back for a while."

"What are you planning to do?" asked Vladimir, curious.

Kenshin grinned. "Why Colonel, I'm planning to make a hole through the ruins. Could you get me the plans of the Krimling too?"

Although he didn't like being ordered, the Colonel knew better and got one of his subordinates to get one, while telling another one to clear the area of everyone.

After a few minutes, when everyone was far enough and safe, Kenshin drew Tenchuu, and activating Tenchuu, he said:

"1st Roar... Fafnir's Dragon Breath!"

The energy blast flew out of Tenchuu, and amde contact with the ruins, which exploded. Kenshin ehard many people cry out all around him, and even sensed some coming towards him, but Kenshin trusted the Colonel he would take care of it. Then after ordering the finder to stay outside and contact him if anything happened, Kenshin went inside the hole he just made.

[Toukestu Zero]

Zero left together with Mikey as the finder agreed to search on his own.

"Report to me immedieatly if anything should happen." Zero told him.

Zero and Mikey searched the city but to no avail. Mikey evantually gave up and suggested they returned to the inn to take a break. Zero raised his eyebrow supiscouisly.

"That's fast." he noted.

"Aww. Come on, we may find a clue somewher there,"

According to the Colonel, Kenshin was entering through the Spasskaya Tower. The building to his right was Building #8. As it was the closest, Kenshin decided to investigate that building first, and then move on on to Building #7.

Before entering, Kenshin summoned a few dragons to act as scouts. If there's something important here, then it's highly possible they'll send something, thought Kenshin as he went inside, after making a new path with the 1st Roar.

Inside he found nothing except complete destruction. Nothing remained except pieces of furniture. Kenshin decided to move on to the next building, leaving a few dragons to keep looking around.

Outside, Kenshin received a message from the finder. "What's wrong?" asked Kenshin.

"Nothing sir," replied the finder, "the Colonel only wants to know if they can come back to work."

"Tell him to open up any other entrance there are. Use explosives if you have to, although I think he would have thought of that," answered Kenshin, looking around himself. He thought he sensed something moving, but he tried convincing himself that it was only one of his dragons. "Anything else?"

"No sir, that's all. I'll keep you informed of anything going on here."

"Alright, contact me every 15 minutes. If I don't answer, then try again 5 minutes after, and if I still don't answer, contact the other's and headquarters."

"Yes Master Kenshin."

Kenshin continued walking around building #8, moving towards building #7. On the way he noticed other destroyed buildings. Argh...more work..., thought Kenshin as he moved along, as he heard something above him. On the roof of building #8, a man in dark green suit stood.

"So you're the one who killed the other two... I was expecting something more." said he.

"Who are you?" asked Kenshin, grabbing Tenchuu.

"Who I am does not concern you, exorcist. Leave this place and don't come back."

"Still with that? I already said I am not leaving," replied Kenshin.

"You'll have to die then."

"The other's said that and look what happened to them," Kenshin stated, as he started moving around the building.

"And you're next." The man clicked his fingers, and Kenshin felt the earth starting to move...

[Toukestu Zero]

The two returned to the inn and they sat down for a drink. "I don't like inns to be honest. I have bad memories at everyone I went to." Zero told Mikey.

Mikey sighed. "Same here," he shrugged. "Let's get out of here."

Zero looked at him curiously. "You suggested coming in here."

"I didn't know their best inn town was this crappy, that's why."

"What the heck? But okay."

"So no clues?" The finder popped out of nowhere.

Both boys jumped up a few feet. "Where did you come from?" Mikey asked.

The finder shrugged. " I was feeling lazy."

[Kenken]

Kenshin looked around him, as four things started to get out of the earth. One of them, looked like the corpse of a big dog. It had wounds all over it and the body has started to root. Another one the body of a bull. It only had one horn, and pieces of its body were missing. The other two were humans, each carrying a weapon. Kenshin recognize them as the two men he killed not long ago.

The man came down from the roof, standing a few meters away from Kenshin and the 'zombies'. "Do you like my creatures?" he asked, "I gave them a new life and purpose. Sweet don't you think?"

"No I don't. And if you gave them a new life, why not a new body?" Kenshin sarcastically, "And what kind of Innocence uses corpses?"

"Mine. And the name of the man whi will kill you is Lenin."

"Actually that's the name that will appear in your tomb," Kenshin remarked.

With a movement of his hand, Lenin sent all for corpses after Kenshin, Deciding on a target, Kenshin charged the bull, jumping over it and stabbing Tenchuu on the head, and then, as Kenshin ran on the bull's back, drove Tenchuu through it.

Jumping down, Kenshin now focused on the dog. It was of the size of a lion, and very fast. The dog jumped, with its fangs and claws ready for the kill. Kenshin anticipated this, and spinning around, he hit the dog from the back. "Two down, two to go."

But the other two men proved to be harder to fight with. With the animals it wasn't hard as Kenshin anticipated their moves on their instincts. But the men were harder, because even though they were dead, they fought as well, if not better, as when they were alive. But their lack of emotions meant Kenshin could not use his ability to interpret emotions in order to predict what his opponent will do. Guess I'll have to relay on reflexes, thought Kenshin.

Both of them attacked alternatively, giving Kenshin no chance to counter-attacked. Kenshin kept losing ground, as he started to get small cuts from the attacks. "Enough is enough."

Jumping back, Kenshin struck Tenchuu on the floor, then, quickly driving the sword through the ground and taking it out, Kenshin sent a number of rocks at the two zombies.

"Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, Doryusen!"

This was enough to stop them for a while, giving Kenshin the chance to attack them. He disarmed the one with the claymore, before beheading it for a second time. With the other one, Kenshin stabbed him right in the middle of the chest, before driving Tenchuu through his body and cutting his left hand.

With the last zombie on the ground, Kenshin started moving towards Lenin. But Lenin simply looked pass Kenshin, and pointed behind him. Kenshin turned around, only to see the four zombies moving and standing up.

"You can't kill my beloved creatures that easily, exorcist. May I know your name, so I can write it in my book after I take control of your body?"

Kenshin looked at him, and denied to tell him his name, before turning around to face the zombies once more...

Even though the zombies have suffered great damage, they could still fight and move as before. Kenshin tried the same tactice as before, but he soon find out that it would need more than that to kill them completely, and this time for good.

However, this wasn't the only thing Kenshin find out. The zombies were more coordinated before, making it almost impossible for Kenshin to even get close to one of them without getitng hit by another.

Kenshin glared at Lenin, who was moving his hand around. He's controlling the zombies! Kenshin realized, thinking of what to do.

The bull and the dog charged at him from the front and the back, while the men stood one on each side of Kenshin. Just as the bull and the dog were almost on him, Kenshin jumped and avoided being crushed alive. Both beast colided with each other. The men jumped towards Kenshin, who was still in the air, and thus unable to avoid them. Or so it semeed.

Kenshin activated his innocence, and use the 5th Roar, Slifer's Wings of Destiny. Golden red wings grew out on Kenshin's back, and with these Kenshin flew out of the way. And he flew towards Lenin.

Lenin was caught unaware. He quickly recovered, however, and commanded the zombies to come after Kenshin. But even the dog, the fastest in the group, could not catch Kenshin.

Lenin started summoning more zombies in front of him, but Kenshin landed and quickly jumped back, striking Tenchuu on the ground. Knowing Lenin and the zombies were within a 25-meter radius, Kenshin activated the 3rd Roar.

"Seiryu's 1000 Dragons Force, Eye of the Storm." The zombies stopped moving as a thousand azure dragons flew out of the ground, the ones near Lenin and the zombies exploding, while the rest continued flying to the sky.

After using the nearby zombies as shield, Lenin looked up, seeing the dragons starting to form a cloud, with Kenshin under the the 'eye'. The cloud wasn't as high as normal clouds were. In fact, it was rather close, maybe 20-30 meters up Lenini noticed.

Then without warning, the dragons starting coming down from the cloud just like lightning would, but not as fast. Still fast enough to catch the zombie dog without much difficulty, realized Lenin, before noticing a few dragons coming his way.

Kenshin took Tenchuu out of the ground and sheathed it away just as the last few dragons flew down. He noticed the remains of the zombies, which wasn't much. He only recognize them thanks to the pieces of dead meat that remained. I guess he can't use those now, thought Kenshin before moving towards Lenin, who was injured all over his body, but managed to survive by using more zombies as shield.

"D-damn you, e-exorcist," said Lenin with difficulty. Kenshin simply looked at him, and said, "Guess what? I'm not going to write your name in my book...not that I would even if I had one."

But Lenin smiled at this and shouted, "Then kill me!! But rest assure, exorcist, that you'll meet your end soon enough!"

"Won't yo give me a parting gift, like, for examples, some answers?" asked Kenshin.

"Very well, exorcist. Not that it'll matter whether you know or not, since you will die. We used an artifact to destroy every building in the Kremlin. Most of them were destroyed in the incident, but one, or two if you're lucky, survived. If you look around, and well, you might find it," said Lenin. Kenshin started to leave, but he was stopped by what Lenin said.

"That's not all I got to give you, exorcist. Another 'small' present for you." Lenin lifted his hand, and then clap them twice. Kenshin didn't know what he was doing, but noises all around him was a sign nothing good was coming. Drawing Tenchuu, Kenshin leapt forwards and stabbed Lenin.

"It's no use, e-exocorcist," Lenin said, coughing blood, "I used all my power now, and my creatures will live even when I die. And you will die too!" And with his last breath, Lenin commanded the zombies to kill Kenshin.

The new zombies were all humans, but Kenshin noticed the group was formed by men, women and children alike. They were the people who were living in the Kremlin. And each one had at least one gun in their hands.

"Great, Komui had to send me to a country where everyone has guns, even small children," stated Kenshin, who saw a small baby zombie crawling towards him, also with a gun. Kenshin slashed the baby in half, and half again before using Fafnir's Dragon Breath on it. "Even babies."

Kenshin activated Draco's Blades of Honour, which started spinning around Kenshin just as the zombies got ready for the first volley...

(Hey people, can i like make an akuma or something really strong appear in front of Zero and Mikey? But what is allowed to appear in that case? Oh, and leave Zero and Mikey the musuem. I have a storyline for that if I can make a sub-boss appear.)

The three left the inn again. And so headed off again. They decided to spilt up again.

"What now?" Zero sighed again. He dug his pockets for a bubble gum but noticed that he ran out of them again.

"How 'bout we head to the Russian Historical Musuem?" Mikey suggested.

Zero looked curiously at him again.

"Aww, it may be help for my Histrory homework."

"You don't frigging go to school."

"You don't too."

Zero finnaly gave up and they left together. They were quite amazed by the monuments and oraments in the garden. They sneaked into a tour group and quickly left after they found out that the tour guide was explaining the history of Russia. ("Boring." Zero had said.) And what was worse was that he spoke only in his native tounge. And he was from freaking India.

Kaze agreed to spilt up, as staying together would be a little pointless, at least for the moment.

He strolled over to another area of the ruins (Kutafya Tower, #15), and looking around to make sure no one was watching him, activated his level 3 innocence.

"Level 3 innocence activate, Leviathan mode"

At once, 8 long tenticles grows out of Kaze's tail bone like tails. Thickly muscled, it could break through soild stone. Which was what exactly Kaze wanted.

The tails flicked past him, and a spilt second later several loud cracks were heard and the rubble cracked apart. Kaze walked through the arcway he made, and into the building. To his surprise, the walls were scratched with runes, and strange writings.

"You seem to have a interesting ability, little innocence user." A whisper drifted from behind. "I'll keep a close eye on you."

Kaze spun around, his tails posing to strike. And he saw.... no one, saving for several indistingishable shadows. He frowned, and continued into the rubble.

"Sir, another exorcist has entered the rubble," one of the excavators saluted.

"Damnit," the Colonel cursed. "Send our troops into the hole after that wierd exorcist with many tails. I want him gunned down."

"How many sir?"

"Twelve would be enough." An evil grin. "Make sure all of them are innocence users too."

Volley after volley came from the zombies as Kenshin used Draco's Blades of Honour to block the bullets. But he was nearing his limit, and if he didn't do anything soon he would most probably die from bullet-wounds. And I don't want that.

Kenshin faced the next group that would be firing, and when the firing stopped, he moved out of the cyrstal barrier, and aimed at the following group. "Fafnir's Dragon Breath!!"

As the energy blast melted the bullets being fired and hit the zombies firing, Kenshin, using Wings of Destiny, flew up, looking for cover. His wounds from the previous fight were starting to bother him. He had to stop somewhere so he could take care of it.

Landing on top of the remains of building #7, Kenshin cat himself with Tenchuu, letting the blood fall on the ground. "8th Roar, Io's Blod Chain." The blood fallin int eh ground and the one already in it started to evaporate, returning to Kenshin's body and accumulating specially on his wounds. It wouldn't help with his exhaustation, but it was more than enough to take care of the wounds.

Resting for a while, Kenshin looked around. The zombies were looking for him, but there was no way they would find him, let alone get where he was. But he had to go back on searching. I need...decoys thought Kenshin. HE immediately made eggs appear in the air with his 2nd Roar. Dozens of dragonflies, but before sending them in, Kenshin contacted his finder.

"Yes Master Kenshin?"

"Everything okey over there?"

"Yes sir, the workers are trying to move the piles of rocks out of the way, and the Colonel has left for the other side."

"God, I want you to come inside, but be careful, there are zombies around."

"Err...yes sir, I'll be on my way."

"And bring me water."


After talking with him, Kenshin sent the dragonflies. The zombies reacted immediately, firing at the dragonflies. But they were so small it was hard to hit them, but it was enough to keep them occupied. And Kenshin took the chance.

Moving in, Kenshin started to attack the xombies with every attack he knew. He used a combination of Kuzuryuzen and Ryusosen to cut the zombies in pieces, and Fafnir's Dragon Breath and Seiryu's 1000 Dragons Force for ranged attacks. The dragonflies tok care of distracting the zombies, but if any shifted its attention to Kenshin and fired, it was stopped by the crystal barrier from Draco's Blades of Honour. If needed, Kenshin used the blades to attack, controlling them with hand and arm's movements. The blades controlloed moved in the same direction, as Kenshin's mastery with the blades wasn't at a master level yet. But against enemies like these, this tactic got the job done.

When the number of zombies decreased by a fourth, Kenshin summoned horse-sized dragons with Kurtulmak's NEst of Broken Eggs to help eliminate the zomby hordes.

At last Kenshin decapitated the last zombie before cutting it in pieces and crushing its head. It was at this moment that he saw Peter the finder running towards him.

"Zombies indeed, Master Kenshin. Good job sir."

"Thanks Peter, but we must move fast," replied Kenshin as he called for two dragons to come his way, "We're looking for an arterfact, most probably a rare one. And we must find it fast. And we'll start over there." Kenshin pointed at a group of ruins pile up together. "Building #2, the Grand Kremlin Palace."

The two toured the musuem on their own. Zero saw a shop selling bubble gum so he took out his wallet...50 yen. "How much is that worth?" Zero asked.

Mikey thought for a moment. " About a S$1.25." (Note: S$ = Singapore Dollars)

"But that's not enough to last me a week's worth of bubble gum." Zero said. "I can't even buy a good bun with this."

"You can always rob someone." Mikey laughed in a joking manner.

Zero eyes lit up.

About 5 minutes later....

"STOP THIEF!!!!!!!"

"Zero you ass..."

Not long later...

"How the hell did you lose them so fast?" Mikey asked, panting heavily.

"Simple. I have a speed of 47 while the estimate for an average would be about 12?"

Mikey gave up. "And now we can't return."

Zero eyes lit up again.

"Oh crap. I hate it when you do that."

After a short moment ...

The two returned to the musuem, disguised.

"And why do we have to come back?" Mikey questioned.

"It's cause I sense something here. Something dangerous."

"Wow. You actually have a serious side of you."

Zero ignored him. "The disguise won't last long." He said. "It looks quite fake so we have to get to somewhere safe."

"Which is?"

"Somewhere where no one will find us?"

"Which is?"

"Places like the storage or the Control Room."

"Let's go for the control room."

Kenshin and Peter rode the dragons towards the Grand Kremlin Palace. Kenshin wanted to check it out first, and if he didn't find anything there he was planning on looking the ruins nearby.

Arriving at the palace, or what remained of it, Kenshin and Peter got down from the dragons, and started looking for a way in. There were no signs of explosions around, ruling bombs. Kenshin, while walking around the perimeter, found no shells whatsoever, meaning it was not destroyed by artillery. It either collapse on its own, or Lenin was right, this was done by fake-innocence users!

"Master Kenshin!" said Peter. Kenshin walked towards him and looked where Peter was pointing at. There was a hole in the wall in front of them, big enough for two persons to fit in. "I'll take it," said Kenshin, venturing inside, followed by Peter.

Due to the fact that the building was...not a building anymore, meant that Kenshin and Peter didn't know where they were, or where they were going. The Grand Kremlin Palace had become a complete maze.

More than once were Kenshin and the finder forced to move rocks, even destroying part of the building to make new paths, risking another collapse.

Knowing it would be almost impossible to find something this way, Kenshin summoned dragonflies to look around. If the artifact was made of innocence, even fake, the dragonflies would find.

Peter found a room, which wasn't so damaged. He called Kenshin, and he went inside. After making sure it was safe, he sat down and rested...

[Toukestu Zero]

"Fine by me."

So the two walked over to the control room casually. When they were arriving near they noticed that there were quite a few cameras in the vicintity. In fatc, there was even a police post nearby.

"A intresting way they had designed the passageway." Zero commented.

"Why?" Mikey asked.

"The corridor leads to a dead end. And there are only two doors along this corridor. Which happens to be the police post and the control room."

"So?"

"As there are no facilities other than the police post, they know that no visitors would come this way."

"So?"

"If there is any, they use the cameras to keep a good eye on them."

"SO?"

"In other words, this is a highly protected area."

"Why?"

"I'm not sure," Zero addmited. "There's probably something valuable or danderous here."

"Could the storage, by any chance be here too?"

"Yeah."

"Oh, why do we have to go in?"

"About that...I think by now your animal instincts should have sensed something unfreindly in there,"

"Uh, yeah."

"So, we get in there and slay it."

"And how do we get in?"

"Your animal insticnts please. Use them."

"Why?"

"Cause I need to know the position of everything and everyone."

"Okay hang on then."

"Okay Zero I think I got them."

"Fantastic!" He gave a Mikey a cheesy thumbs up and blew a big pink bubble. (He was chewing gum.) "Looks like the power is getting better."

"Maybe, I can sense things more easily now too."

"Okay, gimme the plan."

15 minutes later, after the plan was devised...

The two walked into the police post without their disguises. The automatic doors opened and a police man on duty asked," May I help you sirs?"

"Yeah," Zero said causally. "I need-" he stopped when he saw a familiar looking lady beside him.

"-and the boy ran away so fast!" a woman was reporting a theft to another on duty policeman. "He had messy black hair and wore a black shirt with adragon print on it!"

Zero realised the trouble he was in now.

-MISSION FAILED-

STATUS: DOOMED.

Plan B! NOW! Zero spoke to Mikey using telepthay.

Zero summoned a [Black Firewveil] on the door, buring anyone who touches the door. All the police whipped out their pistols and pointed it towards Zero. "Don't move boy! You're coming with us!"

Zero summoned level 3 innocence, candle. He did a pretty weak blink (He haven't learnt that yet, but he will when he recieves level 4!) towards the nearest officer. He held the melting wax agaisnt his throat.

"Sorry about this." Zero said. "But you have to die." Then he pierced the wax through the man. He screamed in pain then fell to the floor, dead. The officers finnaly realised that they were about to die , and quickly fired their bullets at Zero. But Mikey flashed forward and summoned [Spiked Vines] for the first time and took the full damage. Suddenly the officers began to bleed horribly. Mikey just simply [Aid] himself. He then walked to a officer and grabbed him by the neck.

"Oy, you." He said rudely. "The control room should be bolted by now right?"

"How did you-"

"It don't matter, allow me access to the control room, and I'll save you."

"Nev-"

"Fine."

And Zero stabbed the officer for Mikey.

He walked to the woman and pointed the candle at her.

"No, please don't kill me!"

"No. If i do that, someone will find out about this."

"I'll do anything!" she pleaded despreately. Perfrect. Zero thought.

"Very well, clean up the place and i swear not to kill you."

And she quickly cleaned up the mess and put everything back to normal as if nothing happened. But Zero helped her to incererate the bodies and she just disposed it properly.

"Can I go now?" she begged.

"Sure, thanks for your help." He said and began looting the office.

She was about to leave when Mikey slammed a sludge bomb onto her.

her face turned green and she collapsed. her eyes and ears bled. Her skin turned white and she soon died. Zero got rid of her too. (Like Zero said, he didn't kill her. Mikey did.)

"Seargent xxx calling control room." Zero called over the intercom. "We urgently require access to the control."

"Password."

Mikey took the intercom and spoke. "My brain is juicy." Zero wanted to strangle him.

"Okay. Come in then."

Zero nearly died laughing. But Mikey just grinned. "Everything is going according to plan."

Following their plan, the two entered the control room unarmed and undisguised. As the metal door swung open the two zoomed in before they were noticed as intruders and slammed the doors shut.

"Who are-" Wham. Crack. Ow.

The workers of the control room began to panic and slammed on the emergency button. The alarm in the police post rang to inform them that the control room was in danger but the two had cleared away everyone in the post. In fact, the seal on the door hasn't been removed. They were trapped.

"Why are-" Wham. Crack. Ow.

Zero wielded his innocence and Mikey summoned his shield. (For more info of the innocence, view their characther threads, support them please!) Again the idiots fired their bullets and tazers at Mikey, they took a horrible amount of damage, and Mikey healed himself in no time.

The last standing man, began to pound despearately on the control buttons. Then Zero noticed that something was wrong. The man was typing something that looked like "A-K-U-M-A-S__H-E-L-P" Just as Zero finnaly read the message, a swarm of akumas flooded in and the man transformed into a level 2 akuma. He shot the two of them a muderous look.

"Okay, that's the bad guy?" Mikey asked. "I expected worse!"

Kenshin and Peter continued resting in the room. Kenshin has sent dragonflies to look around for whatever caused the Kremlin to fall while him and Peter rested in the room. The main reason for this was that Kenshin didn't want to cause another collapse which would pretty much mean Kenshin and Peter would be buried alive.

Kenshin was drinking water when suddenly he heard something. Kenshin stood up and looked outside. Peter looked at Kenshin, and he also got up. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Kenshin extended his hand, and a dragonfly landed there. "They've found akumas patrolling the area, and they also destroyed the Ivan's Bell Tower," replied Kenshin. Then he heard something else, from within the ruins. A moment after another dragonfly appeared.

"Good and bad news," explained Kenshin to Peter.

"Let me guess, more akumas? or did more fake innocence users arrived?"

"No. Good news is that they've found something interesting. They can sense the smell of innocence coming from it. Bad news is that, it is located the Hall of the Order of St. Andrew, which is, right now, almost impossible to access."

"What are we going to do then?"

"We must find a way to open up a path to get inside the hall. I could probably use Fafnir's Dragon Breath, but too much power will cause the ruins to collapse, and possibly destroy the artefact. Too little, and it will do nothing. And there're those akumas that we have to worry about."

"Can't you make your dragons bring it?" Kenshin looked at Peter and said, "It's too big and heavy for these. My level 3 dragons could probably get the job done, but they're bigger than me. We must go and get it."

Walking fast, Kenshin and Peter followed the dragonflies. They had to move inside the building because the akuma were lurking outside, and if they got find out, most akumas would probably come. And Kenshin wanted to avoid a fight if he could.

Luckly for them, it wasn't so hard to get to the location as they have thought, but the noise from the akuma's cleaning became louder and louder, and indication they would be firing at the Palace soon.

At last they found the room, which was completely sealed off, with only small holes being the only way to get in. But there was no choice, and Kenshin drew Tenchuu. He first summoned five level 3 dragons, and then used Fafnir's Dragon Breath to make an opening.

Kenshin did a good job, and make a holw big enough to get inside. Kenshin and the others rushed inside, and started looking for the artefact. He soon got news of the akumas closing in due to the explosion he caused. "Hurry!" Kenshin shouted.

And there it was, the artefact Lenin mentioned and the dragons smelled the innocence from. It looked like a huge orchestral organ, painted of blue and gold. It wasn't unharmed, as it had some pieces missing. Kenshin drew Tenchu.

"7th Roar, Yinglong's Claws of Fury" Green flames surrounded Tenchuu, and Kenshunn started cutting the organ down.

"Master! What are you doing?!"

"It's too big to carried it. It's better to cut it down into medium pieces so the dragons can carry them." said Kenshin as he started to summoned more dragons and started assigning dragons to each piece. And then he heard explosions.

"The akumas have started attacking, let's move!"

Jumping on a dragon, Kenshin started flying up, with the other dragons and the finder following behind.

"3rd Roar, Seiryu's 1000 Dragons Force!" The azure dragons caused a explosion, opening a path outside.

As they got out, Kenshin saw the akumas shooting at the Palace, but they didn't notice him or the dragons. "Follow me," he said to Peter, and they started flying away from the city, as he contacted Headquarters..."

Pushing several bigger chunks of rock away, Kaze walked on until he saw... a dead end. Frowning, he examined the wall. Like most of the other walls he saw, this was inscribed with runes, drawings and more scratch marks.

A slight shuffle from the passageway behind alerted Kaze, and he immediately leviated upwards towards the ceiling. Could it be from the voice he heard eariler?? No wait, this time there's several voices... humans.

4 soldiers appeared from under him, and Kaze drew a shark intake of breath.

"Now where did that exorcist go?" one of them muttered.

"He must be hearby, this is a freaking dead end-" a barbed tail through his vocal chords silenced him immediately, and his speech ended with a grugle.

The other 3 soldiers shouted in alarm and as one they activated their innocence. Swords, armour, and even a giant walking mushroom materialized.

"Nows my turn," Kaze grinned, his tail still dripping blood. "Level 3 innocence activate."

At once, 8 blades darted through the air, 4 of them floating by its own accord, and the other 4 on each of his wrists and elbows, forming a double-bladed sword o each arm. Kaze smiled, confident he could take all of him on.

More voices dampened his spirits however, as the other 8 soldiers joined the remaining 3 and turned towards him.

[Toukestu Zero]

The akumas swarmed over to Zero and Mikey. They trapped them by forming A circle formation around them. The level ones shot their bullets at the two. Mikey summoned his spiked vines and took the full blow. Zero leapt skywards and came back down, burning a few level 2 and 1s.

The remaining akumas hesitated slightly. Some level 2 backed off slightly but the brainless level 1s zoomed forward and met their doom. Mikey threw a sludge bomb at a level 2 while Zero blinked weakly around the room slashing the targets.

In no time, all the akumas were finished. The only one left standing again, was the strongest level 2 in the room. The sub-boss I made for ths freedom arc. (Only Zero and Mikey will fight it.)

"Impressive." The akuma clapped his hands. "I expected worse!" ("Hey!" Mikey shouted. "That's my line!")

[Kenken]

"Komui!" shouted Kenshin as the call finally went throught. He was in a forest near Moscow. He was with a group of finders who were loading the parts of the organ into carriages.

"Kenshin-kun? What's wrong?" asked Komui.

"I've found what caused the collapse of the Kremlin. It still have the fake innocence within, and was able to recover it before it was too late. I think more were used to destroy the other buildings in the Kremlin."

"Good job Kenshin! Can you send us the parts?"

I got groups of finders doing that," Kenshin replied, "It should be getting there in a few days, if everything goes well."

"Alright, have you contacted the others about this?"

"Not yet. I'll tell them after I hang up."

"Okey Kenshin-kun. If the organ really did caused the collapse, then it means that fake innocence users are involved. But how we must find out. Please continue investigating. You have to find who's behind this."

"Yes Komui, we'll look into this and find out the leader."

After this, Kenshin went to help put the parts in place, and sent the finders off with the organ. After they were out of sight, Kenshin contacted the others.

"This is Kenshin. I have found what caused the collapse of the Kremlin, and sent it off t headquarters. Please come to the forest west of Moscow, so we can revise a plan of action."

((Stony and Zero: Come to the forest so we can plan something. You can finish your respective fights if you wish, ad you can also choose not to come. But if you don't come then I'll be taking it that you won't be working with me, and thus I won't include in the plan (whatever the plan turns out to be >__>)
In any case, if you choice if you come, and nothing will happen if you choose not to, except, as I said, that I won't include you in them. :) ))

[Toukestu Zero]

(Hmm. I'll think about it. Could you gimme the plan first or something so I can decide if it'll be fun enough for me.)

[Sludge Bomb] Mikey yelled. The he appeared right in front of the sub boss and raised his arm high. He brought his hand down and a blob of toxic came down onto the akuma. The akuma spluttered and coughed. Zero elbowed the akuma in the stomach. A bolt of fire hit the akuma and it got blasted backwards and smashed agaisnt a wall.

The eight amred creature grew angry. Its eight arms grew extra long and sturdy. each arm glowed silver and were as sharp as blades. They slashed around dangerously and wrecked all the nearby equipment.Sparks flew out dangerously from them. [Spiked vines] Mikey casted and charged straight towards the akuma. He got stabbed in the arm and he [Aid] it instantly. The akuma's one arm fell off onto the floor. It continued to wriggle helplessly.

Then suddenly the arm began to mutate uncontrobally. It grew into a exact clone of the sub boss. It had seven arms left too. It copied every move the akuma made and did evrything the akuma did.

"Could it be a shadow of it?" Zero asked Mikey.

"I'm not sure," Mikey bit his lip.

"If this carry on, we'll have to fight eight of them."

"Okay. Gimme some time to find its weak point."

"How?"

"Animal instincts." Mikey said grimly. "Fun time's over. Protect me till then."

[Kenken]

((@zero: the reason i was saying to come to the forest was so we could plan something. But forget it, just do whatever you want, and we'll come together when we find the Boss's headquarters.))

"It seems no one came, sir," commented Peter a few hours later.

"They must be occupied with something... too bad, I can't wait for them any longer," said Kenshin, getting up and starting gathering his stuff.

"What will we do now?"

"I don't know... I doubt anything from the organ will help us find the mastermind from all this. We could look around the city for organs like the one we found... but if it was custom-made, and by the group behind this it'll be impossible to find a clue," said Kenshin.

"What if we look for the group instead? They destroyed an important symbol of the Govenment, meaning they could have a grudge against it," Peter said as Kenshin's golem starting ringing.

"A call... give me the phone Peter," said Kenshin as he took the phone and connected it to the golem, "Who is it?"

"Master Kenshin... if me, the leader of the group you sent with the artefact... I'm sorry Master Kenshin, we were attacked by a group of akumass, no one died, but... the artefact was almost destroyed. We checked on it and any piece of fake innocence that was in there was...destroyed..."

Kenshin cursed. This was bad, but not as bad as it seemed. He was sure there was at least one in the agent's strongholds. "It's okey, it's not as bad as it seems. Please inform Headquarters and come back to Moscow. Be glad that you are still alive.

"Yes Master Kenshin." and the man hung up.

"Really Peter, with that brain of yours why are you a finder? Go get a job in HQs," Kenshin joked as he started leaving for the city.

"So what's the plan, sir?"

"We'll look for the agents, and follow them. Maybe we can find something that way," said Kenshin as he drank more water...

[Toukestu Zero]

Zero had to take on two sub boss while Mikey concentrated hard on finding the weak point. "Hurry Mikey!" Zero called to him. "You think taking on fourteen arms at once is fun, you try it." Mikey ignored the final statement and suddenly called out, "His neck! Aim for it!"

When the akumas heard that, they became more agaitated. They swung their arms more dangerously and recklessy. Mikey actually had to help. He took a direct hit in the stomach and he dropped to the floor. His mouth bled but that wasn't much to him.

"Now, Zero!"

Just as Zero was about to spear its neck, it suddenly got sucked into a portal like thing, which happened to be the sub boss' mouth. It sprouted seven new arms. Charged with lots of fresh power, it began to cast his finishing spell, [City Of Lost Souls] (Zero used to have this, but it was too strong, I deleted it. Also, the spell has been upgraded since he's a sub boss.)

Now, what the spell actually does is that it raises a citadel as big as the caster, and 100 souls will appear in it and all at once, they will fly through the target. Each soul deals 2 damage when it hits a target. Souls that had failed to hit one, dies again.

"Zero!" Mikey called to him. "Leave this to me!" Zero nodded and hopped onto a broken machine. He summoned his [Black Fierviel] and got ready for the full blow.
The citadel finnaly rose and the souls came flying out. Zero took some damage while Mikey healed him with [Aid]. Then the right time came. Mikey charged his finishing spell too.

"[Frenzy Symphony]!"

The souls which had charged at hm died one by one and finally the sub boss began to take damage at a horrifying speed and at last, it was dead.

Mikey fell to the floor and fainted. Zero was near to losing conciousness, so he called for the finder to return.

After a HELL LOT of calculation, Mikey has lost a total of 55 life.
58 - 55 = 3

Lost not as much, but overall, 26 life.

"Nows my turn," Kaze grinned, his tail still dripping blood. "Level 3 innocence activate."

At once, 8 blades darted through the air, 4 of them floating by its own accord, and the other 4 on each of his wrists and elbows, forming a double-bladed sword o each arm. Kaze smiled, confident he could take all of him on.

More voices dampened his spirits however, as the other 8 soldiers joined the remaining 3 and turned towards him.

Kaze doubted he could win at all, but dropped right into the mob of soldiers at once. His left arm led with a great sweep of the sword, and the soldier hopped back back of range, then came in fast behind the swipe. Just as Kaze had hoped. His other hand cut through the air just a split second later, drawing a deep line of blood across the man's eyes. The man howled and fall backwards, stumbling and crusing all the while.

The whole time, his other 4 blades which was movin of its own accord parried the blows from the other soldiers. A spear jabbed into Kaze's ribcage then, and pain flared in his side. Kaze almost doubled up in pain, but instead used his left arm (the initial swing) to yank against the momentum and reversed the flow of his blade, bringing it close. He slid one hand up nearer as he moved one foot forward, almost turning sidelong to the soldier, then thrust outwards right into the chest of the soldier.

Not one to sit on his laurels, he yanked his blade out, reversing the blade and using the blade at the elbow to gash another across the sholder. However, another halberd wielded by another soldier managed to get through his defenses and was driven deep into Kaze.

"OUUUCCCHHH," Kaze winced from the pain as his blood spurted out and dropped to his knees. He collasped against the wall, and realised that it was impossible to defeat the other 9 soldiers with his condition. Sighing, he turned his head to look for a means to escape... only to see flames surging down the passgeway towards the soldiers and him.

"Lolth's Realm activate!" Kaze cried in time as the flames washed over him. His ability took effect, shifting his body into another dimmension. His body bacame transparent, and he couldnt be dealt damage nor deal damage. The other soldiers wasnt so lucky. Several cried out in pain, only to be silenced quickly. One caught fire, and screamed as teh flesh on his face melted away.

As quickly as the fire appeared, they were gone, save for Kaze and several charred meat. The walls were blacken, and he feared for the integrity of the walls. However, he was more concerned with the pressing problem.

"Just who sent the flames towards me?"

"You could at least thank me for saving your life." A voice from the shadows whispered. It was the same voice when before Kaze entered the ruins.

Kaze turned towards the voice, expecting to see nothing again, but surprisingly he saw a well-dressed gentleman sitting on a rock.

"Why did you save me?" Kaze asked.

"Because you have a nice power exorcist," he replied. "And i was thinking of recruiting you."

"What for?"

"To overthrow the government."

[Kenken]

Peter was running with bags on his hands towards the deserted room Kenshin was waiting. Kenshin had commanded him to get some clothes for a disguise, since he couldn't wear the exorcist coat or he would be identified.

"I'm back master Kenshin," said Peter as he entered the room and handed the bags to Kenshin. "These are the best I could find, sir."

Kenshin looked through the clothes Peter brought, stopping when he found a long grey dress. "A skirt...?" Kenshin asked.

"I thought it would help. I dont think the agents would expect you to disguise. And if they do, they'll definitely won't expect you to disguise as a girl..."

"Peter... go and get a job in HQ. You could be a planner or startegist, really." And Kenshin started putting the skirt on top of his exorcist coat, as well as finding a dark jumper and a black trench coat. Then Keshin re-tied his hair, and put a hat on top. "How do I look?"

Peter replied, "I can't tell whether you're an exorcist or not."

"Good, Tenchuu will be a problem though..." said Kenshin, looking around. Soon he found a bag big enough, as well as wood sticks. Now he was ready.

Stepping outside, Kenshin started moving around the city, looking for any of those men in dark suits. He has dubbed them as agents after a sci-fiction book he has read while in HQs. The things people wrote in books were crazy!, but interesting.

It wasn't long before Kenshin found one. It seemed he was patrolling, but night was nearing and he should be going somewhere to rest. After a few minutes the agent took another route, different from the one he was taking before. Kenshin, of course, followed him without the agent finding out.

But what Kenshin didn't know was that this agent was being followed already. And by his own men. It was a tactic they decided to use because, after finding out the organ was taken away, they were sure the exorcist would try and find their stronghold. And one exorcist was just trying to do that.

The agent kept taking unexpected turns, walking into dark and dirty alleys. Kenshin was starting to suspect something, but without proper proff he dismiss the worry.

Until at last, the man stopped in a park, and turned around to face Kenshin. Kenshin at once stopped, and try to hide, but he was already seen.

"You know, girls don't come here alone. Your own actions gave you away."

"Heh, no choice then," Kenshin said as he took the disguise off and took Tenchuu out of the bag. As he did this, Kenshin sensed movements around him. He glared behind him and saw more 'agents' appear, all around him.

"Damn... it seems lots of blood will be spilled tonight," and Kenshin drew Tenchuu.

[Toukestu Zero]

"Um, where am I?" Mikey asked when he regained consiouness. He had lost a lot of blood and he couldn't move yet due to the after effects of the spell. He looked around and noticed that they were in an area full of trees. Zero was chewing gum. "Are we in the xxx Forest?" Mikey asked.

"I don't even know." The finder repiled. "I just took you to nearest place for you to rest."

"How do you know the name of the forest?" Zero asked him. "It's your first time here."

"Looks like the animal instincts aren't letting me down."

"Yeah. You took so much damage it's amazing you haven't died."

Mikey managed to cast [Aid] on himself. the finder brought back enough food and water for everyone. They had a decent meal of wid boar and a drink from the nearby river.

"Is the water safe?" Zero asked.

"yeah." Mikey replied. "I sense nothing dangerous in it."

"Mm, your powers really work better in the forest. The finder said.

"yeah you could get a best camper award with this talent." Zero joked.

He then lit a fire and set up a tent. That night they took a well desreved sleep.

Kenshin jumped over the agents and landed on tree branch as the agents had charged at him but completely missed him. These agents weren't as strong as the first two, Kenshin noticed, but their numbers could become a trouble if their attacks became more coordinated. Kenshin decided to go hard, real hard on them.

Before jumping Kenshin noticed another agent watching the fight. The agent turned out to be female. She was wearing glasses as the rest of the agents, and a tight dark green suit. heh, I think she'll be trouble later on, thought Kenshin as he jumped down.

All the agents had different weapons with them. Kenshin quickly analyzed them and the terrain as they were moving closer and closer towards him. Knowing that the female agent would not move in until these pawns were finished, Kenshin drew Tenchuu, and his violet eyes became shining blue.

Some agents noticed the eye change, but they simply ignore it, as they did not know what it meant. And they charged once again at Kenshin, again, without coordinating their attacks.

Kenshin swung his sword, hitting and cutting down 4 men with one swing. He continued predicting his opponents' movements as he cut them down. Kenshin also realized that they weren't innocence-users, and they're weapons were normal weapons, thought a little stronger.

But there were 4 agents that surpassed the rest, and they were the only ones to survive Kenshin's attacks. One had a naginata, another used two small swords in his hands, the third simply wielded a club of wood, and the last fought with his fists.

"Tsk, why don't you die already, I got more important things to do."

"Our mission is to destroy you. We will not let you pass."

"Fine, I guess I'll just have to kill you."

Huhuhu, is it my time? asked a voice inside Kenshin.

Yes, make them suffer as much as you wish, replied Kenshin to the voice, and his eyes changed once again, to golden amber.

The female agent looked with amusement, "nice ability, exorcist. Now, show me your true strength."

Kenshin and the four men charged, starting the fight...

[Toukestu Zero]

(Okay, i'm rather bored now, so I'll double post. Sorry about the mass posting back then, I won't be posting so actively once school begins again tommorow.)

Mikey sat up and tried to move his arms. They seemed fine, but they were still sore. They will recover soon enough. He had told the rest earlier as he [Aid] himself.

"Where's our next destination?" Zero asked the finder.

"I'm not sure, but now that the sub-boss is gone, we'll have to continue our original objective."

"Oh. So we wait for Kenshin's orders?"

"Yeah, unless you wanna join him."

"Maybe later, I want Mikey to rest for a little longer. He can't take on anything in this state."

So they took another rest for about 8 hours.

Kenshin swung his sword at the group, which dodged and scattered around Kenshin. Kenshin charged at the one who remained in front of him as the other three were moving away. Kenshin thrusted, aiming to get the man with the naginata(agent #1) on the chest, but he blocked the attack with his left arm.

Kenshin withdrew, dodging a strike from the man with the wooden cub(agent #2), but next he found the man with the two swords(agent #3, swinging both swords at his neck. Kenshin jumped, holding Tenchuu with his left hand as he supported the blade with his right, blocking the swords.

"Ryushosen!" Aided with the force gained from the jump, Kenshin pushed the man back. Then Kenshin landed on the ground and crouched, evading an attack and making the fouth man (agent #4) punch his own fist. Putting Tenchuu on the ground and using it as support, Kenshin kicked the man a number of times, pushing him back.

Kenshin jumped backwards, and got ready for the next set of attacks, but he saw 3 of the agents putting their weapons down and sitting down, with agent number 4 stepping out.

"Eh?" ask Kenshin, puzzled.

"To defeat you, only I is necesary," said agent #4.

"Oh really? Please show me," Kenshin answered sarcastically.

The man started running towards Kenshin, who simply put Tenchuu on his shoulder and waited for the attack to come. But before he came too close, the agent increased his speed, taking Kenshin by surprised and scoring a hit on his face.

Kenshin fall to the ground, but he quickly got up, a bit surprised. And then he laughed

"Good! If you were as weak as moments ago it wouldn't be interesting at all!" Kenshin charged the agent, who just recovered from Kenshin's reaction. He dodged Kenshin's slash, but he wasn't fast enough to react to Kenshin's following kick, which caught him in the face and sent him to the ground.

"Is this your best? Geez you got me high for nothing," said Kenshin, walking towards the agent. Then the agent jumped, striking Kenshin many times with his fingers many times.

"Hahaha! I got you! Now you won't be able to mo..." the agent was saying but he was interrupted as Kemshin hit him with Tenchuu's hilt.

"What's that supposed to do something? Small techniques like those won't do. Only strong techniques, like this one," Kenshin told the agent as he sheathed Tenchuu. The man, clearly angry now charged Kenshin, and Kenshin drew Tenchuu.

"Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, Soryusen!"

The agent dodged the blade by inches, but when he clsoe in to punch Kenshin, his arm was hit by the scabbard, breaking it. The man screamed, as he hold his arm and fall to his knees.

"Idiot... it seems you won't be needing that arm anymore..." Kenshin said.

And he attacked him with Ryusosen, striking many hits on the agent. After Kenshin was done, the agent was on the ground, with all his limbs cut into pieces.

"...and neither will you need your other limbs. Stay there, quiet until death takes you.

Kenshin glared at the other three and said. "So... are you going to attack or do I have to go over there?"

Not far away, the female agent smiled.

"To overthrow the current government," the well-dressed gentleman repeated.

"Uhhh.... WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?" Kaze blinked stupidly.

"You have power boy, now instead of using them on some lame Black Order, why dont you use it for yourself? We can pay you handsomely, or-"

"Sorry, im not from Russia. Not interested in your politics."

"Well considering i just saved your ass, you could at least do us a favour."

"Us?" Kaze raised his eyebrows.

"We're an organisation; who is planning on another revolution to overthrow the government and put ourselves at the seat of power. An organisation full of innocence users like you, who crave for power or live life they way they want."

Kaze considered it for a moment. "Im really not interested. But who knows, this would be fun, and its a great way to inflitrate the enermy. And i can always back out or escape halfway." he thought.

"Very well," Kaze smiled. "I'll join your little organisation. By the way, is the
organisation the culprit for this building's collaspe?"

The man just smiled. "What do you think?"

[Kenken]

Kenshin glared at the other three and said. "So... are you going to attack or do I have to go over there?"

Neither of the three male agents moved, and kept looking at Kenshin. He started walking towards them until they were almost within range of each other.

Then without warning, all three men attacked. Kenshin smiled and jumped, dodging the attacks as they came. He attack the one closest to him, agent #2, who blocked Tenchuu with both of his swords. Agent #3 thrusted with his club at Kenshin, but used the end of the club as support, and jumped out of the way before agent #1 and #2 could attack him.

Kenshin landed between a few trees and near the corpses of the agents that died earlier. The three agents started running towards Kenshin, who stabbed Tenchu on the ground and left it there. Kenshin started grabbing the weapons of the corpses and throwing them at the agents, breaking their momentum and concentration. Kenshin grabbed Tenchuu and cut the trees nearby the agents, making the trees fall on them.

All three of the agents started cutting the trees down before they could harm them, but the trees had done their purpose. As agent #1 and #3 finished with the last trees, agent #2 received a number of hits from Kenshin, who used the falling trees as a chance to attack them. The agent used both of his swords to defend himself against Kenshin, but Kenshin's furious attacks were so fast that even with two, the agent continued to receive hits, more and more as time passed.

The other two agents arrived to help their colleague, and Kenshin moved back. The three of them attacked once again, giving Kenshin no time to prepare something.

End it quick, I got stuff to do here, said Kenshin to Battousaid

Fine... said the cold voice.

Holding Tenchuu with both hands, Kenshin charged the three agents, unleashing Kuzuryusen on them. Because there were three Kenshin distributed the attack on all of them, but they still got heavily injured. Landing behind them, Kenshin turned around and attacked agent #3. He put his club on the way, but Tenchuu still drove through it and through the man's chest, cutting him in half.

The other agents looked as their comrade fall to the ground. They could see the bloodlust in Kenshin's eyes. But agent #1 move forward, even though he knew it meant his death. A moment later, only pieces of meat remained of him.

The last agent started to shake, and ran away from Kenshin. The female agent noticed this, and quickly moved towards him, appearing in front of him.

"Sorry but you can't run away. You either finish your mission or die trying." The man lifted his sword and attempted to cut her, but she was faster. Her nails grew at a surprising lenght, and cut the men along with his swords.

Kenshin looked at the woman, never taking his eyes off her. The woman noticed him, and took a bottle of water from her suit, throwing it at Kenshin, who catched it. He opened it and pour the water on Tenchuu, cleaning it from the blood. Then he sheathed Tenchuu, threw the bottle back at the woman and started to leave.

"Hey! Don't leave so soon, do you think I came here all the way just to help you clean your sword?"

Kenshin looked at her with his golden eyes, but the woman did not took her eyes away from his. Kenshin smiled, and punched himself on the face, making blood fall from his forehead. Not worrying about it, Kenshin looked at the woman, this time with violet eyes and asked.

"How can I help you?"

[Toukestu Zero]

"Man he's late." Mikey whined. "I'm bored of waiting."

"Don't blame him," the finder told him. "I'm sure he's battling someone now."

"Yeah," Zero told him. "Don't get so worked up just cause ya feeling better."

"Oh whatever." he said and he went off to get some fresh water from the nearby river.

The water seemed to refresh him a lot more than it used to. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't think much about it. When he came back he healed himself and then casted [Aid] on himself. The finder then started a conversation with the two.

"I think we'll be leaving the forest soon." The finder said. "I found an inn-"

"Nah." Zero said. "I don't like inns."

"Yeah." Mikey agreed. "Lets burst into someone's house ang get free lodging!"

"Let's go to the inn then." Zero said instantly.

"Hey!"

"How can I help you?" Kenshin asked the woman in front of him. Kenshin saw how she took care of the previous agent, and he knew he had to be careful. Just by looking at her he could tell he was much stronger than Lenin, and her outfit supported this. She was wearing the same outfit as the other agents, only black and and she wore more angular glasses than the others. She had long, flowing dark blonde hair, and Kenshin was a few centimeters taller than her.

"I've seen you fight, both those two trashed that you found when you were leaving, and the fight you had with Lenin and the akumas after him. And of course, the fight just now. You got ... another personality, right?" said the woman, walking closer to Kenshin.

"I don't see how that has to do anything with this, and you haven't answered my question," Kenshin replied. He kept looking at her eyes, trying to read her. Though she let him feel her emotions and thus, letting him know what action she would do next, Kenshin couldn't read any deeper. Any secrets she had, she was keeping them well.

"So you do... My name is Anita, and as for your question, I wanted to give you an offer, if you're interested," said Anita, getting closer to Kenshin.

"And what offer is that?" Kenshin replied.

Anita smiled. She moved even closer and put her arms around Kenshin's neck. "Join us, and help us destroy the current government. In exchange, you will continue to live, and if you so wish so, you can even live as a King. Decline, and we'll be forced to kill you." Anita moved her mouth to Kenshin's ear and whispered, "But I like you, so if you decline, I'll let you live with the condition to leave this country, report to your commander that nothing is amiss here and that you will never come back. And you will have to 'take care' of your friends too."

Kenshin grabbed her arms and got himself free. "What about I decline, I ask you questions, you answer them, then you take me to your boss, I take care of him and then, I live this place?"

Anita laughed. "I like that. But unfortunately, even though I like you, if you want your questions answered you will have to defeat me." Anita moved away, and she took off a necklace. "This is my fake innocence. I will put it here," she said as she located her necklace under a tree, "so we can have a small warm-up. I propose hand to hand combat."

Kenshin sighted. Another battle. But she didn't seem...evil, and thus he decline Battousai's proposition to fight her instead of him. He didn't want to kill her, and if he defeated her he would get answers, which was good.

"Alright, we warm-up, then we fight, I defeat you and you give me answers."

"So confident. You haven't asked what would happen if I defeat YOU."

"I don't need to, because that won't happen."

"You know, I"m starting to like you even more. I might even fall in love with you. Please don't die okey?" Anita said as she winked at him, and sent a kick his way.

[Kenken]

Anita jumped and spun, kicking Kenshin, who blocked it with his arms. Then Kenshin moved to the right, grabbing Anita's leg and sent a punched on her back. Anita saw what Kenshin intended. She jumped with her other leg, before attempting to kick Kenshin in the guts as she smiled.

Anita's emotions were high, which allowed Kenshin to predict her movements. He let go of her leg, and jumped above Anita's kick, before dropping down. Anita fall to the ground, but she quickly moved out of Kenshin's drop kick range. Getting up, she started a complex series of hit on Kenshin, who got up and started blocking and evading when necesary.

Anita's hits were becoming faster and stronger, forcing Kenshin to retreat to the middle of the forest as he continued to fend off Anita's attacks. Once they got to the center, Kenshin started to counter-attack, using Anita's excitement against her.

But Anita was smart, and she realized what Kenshin was doing, and started controlling her emotions until Kenshin was unable to read her, and now he was forced to rely on his instincts.

Kenshin dodged Anita's punch, then grabbing her arm and throw her to the floor. Anita fall, but she took the change of grabbing Kenshin's neck and throwing him to the ground as retribution.

"I could have killed you there," Anita told Kenshin, who was standing up.

Kenshin rubbed his neck, considering what she said. Indeed she could have, breaking his neck and thus ending the fight right there. But why didn't she? Kenshin realized she didn't really want to kill him, as he didn't want to kill her either, even dislinking the idea of hurting her. What am I thinking? She's the enemy, and she got answers.

Kenshin moved away from Anita and grabbed Tenchuu from where he left it. "Enough warm-up," he said.

"Aww. I wanted to continue. Oh well," Anita replied, putting the necklace back on.

"Tenshou Kyuutouryuu, Level 2 Activate." Tenchuuu glew in a faint light, before settling in its own colour. Anita acitvated her 'fake' innocence too, and made her nails grow 10 centimeters.

"Becareful, Kenshin. The 'fake' innocence made my bones to bond with adamantium, which I can control at will," Anita explained, changing her nail's shape to demonstrate, before settling them into their normal shape, "It would be bad if you let yourself being cut down by me." Anita smiled as she said this.

"Thanks for the explanation," Kenshin replied, "but you don't need to worry because, as I said before, I will be defeating you." And Kenshin took a Battoujutsu stance, as he waited for Anita to move...

Anita smiled. She was liking Kenshin more and more. But she had to concentrate on the battle ahead. They would start to use their innocence against each other, which was going to make the fight very unlike the warm-up.

Anita moved slowly at first, looking for an opening, but Kenshin remained still, keeping the Battoujutsu stance ready to attack or counter-attack. It all depended on what Anita did.

She realized Kenshin would not give her any openings, so with her right hand and nails extended Anita charged at Kenshin, who unleashed Battojutsu, aiming for her hands.

Anita counted on this, and at the last second, Anita mover her fingers, catching the blade with her fingernails, and then stepping forward, extending her left hand. Kenshin noticed her plans, and quickly stepped forwards, transferring his weight on Tenchuu, pushing Anita backwards before her attack could land.

Anita smiled again, and attacked before Kenshin had time to sheath Tenchuu again. But Kenshin didn't bother to do that, as he swung the blade downwards. "Fafnir's Dragon Breath!" An energy blast erupted from Tenchuu's blade, and took the form of a dragon's head, which in turned breathed energy from its mouth.

Anita extended her nails, and changed their shape to take the form of a shield, protecting her from the dragon's energy breath. When she changed her nails back and looked up, she saw the dragon head made of energy fliying towards her. Once again she extended her nails, but not daring to take the risk, she parried it as she jumped out of the way.

While Anita struggled with his first roar, Kenshin circled her around, planning to attack her from the rear. Once Anita evaded the 'dragon's head', Kenshin closed in, getting within range. Anita looked on to where Kenshin previously was, but she realized he was not there and probably was attacking from another direction. She quickly turned around, only to receive Kenshin's attack head on.

Anita struggled to keep her balance, but her legs finally gave up and she fall to the ground. But she was still alive. Kenshin had hit her with the flat of the sword, hitting her instead of cutting her.

Anita hold her shoulder, and looked at Kenshin. "Did you returned the favor of not killing before? Or is there another reason?"

"That, and because I can't kill you yet. I need answers," replied Kenshin.

"Heh, I would have liked to hear that you were starting to like me." Anita said, giving him a fake smile.

Kenshin replied, "...that too," but he kept looking at her with cold eyes. Anita realized then, that no matter who got in his way, he would continue to walk forward, believing in what he thought he was right. It was that or he was simply following orders, and would strife to complete them no matter what. Anita got up, and hope it was the first option.

"I see. In return, I will go all out," said Anita, as her nails starting glowing. She charged Kenshin, quicker than before. Kenshin was surprised by the speed change, and jumped backwards as he blocked Anita's first attack. Then he focused on her other hand. However, Anita did not have her hand extended, but instead a bit crouched, as if she were holding something. Then a silver sphere started to materialize in her hand, and she shot it at Kenshin.

It got Kenshin in the chest, throwing him backwards, and it exploded right in fron of Kenshin, causing him more damage. Anita started forming another sphere in her right hand as she neared Kenshin, who was getitng up even though he was injured. Then Kenshin charged Anita, avoding the silver sphere by a few inches, and activated Yinglong's Claws of Fury. Tenchuu was engulfed in flames as it made contact with Anita's nails, but Tenchuu didn't went through it, only managing to scracthed them slightly. Anita took the chance to kick Kenshin away, crushing him with some trees.

"I"m sorry Kenshin, but you can't beat me. Just give up and I'll take you to my boss' house, where you will join us."

Kenshin laughed and said, "Give up? Why? Is not like I'm going to lose."

Anita sighed and replied, "Your attacks are useless."

"Indeed they are. Or to be more accurate, they WERE."

Kenshin hold Tenchuu with both hands and shouted. "Tenshou Kyuutouryuu, Level 3 Activate!"

Kenshin hold Tenchuu with both hands and shouted. "Tenshou Kyuutouryuu, Level 3 Activate!"

Tenchuu glew in a golden light, and the blade got a faint golden touch. Then Kenshin moved towards Anita, swinging his sword. Anita blocked it in time, although she was surprised by Kenshin's sudden speed increase, before being thrown back by Kenshin. Not only his speed, but also his strength! Anita thought.

Anita mateliarized more silver spheres in her hands, and throw them at Kenshin, who sliced the air. "Seiryu's 1000 Dragons Force!" The azure dragons circled Kenshin, and then moved to intercept the spheres, exploding before they got too close to Kenshin, who let go of Tenchuu. The sword suspended itself in the air, in front of Kenshin as he started moving his hands, controlling the dragons.

Anita tried coming close, but there were too many dragos for Anita to be able to attack Kenshin without getting injured herself. But soon attacking Kenshin became the least of her problems, as Anita struggled to avoid the great number of dragons. Kenshin continued to move the dragons around, controlling them with his hand, and clashing them against Anita. But as he didn't want to hurt her, he made them explode before the dragons made contact with Anita, although they still cause some damages.

Once Kenshin ran out of dragons, Anita cahrged Kenshin again before he could summon more dragons. But Kenshin wasn't planning on summoning more. Instead, he made 11 blades made of innocence to materialize around him. "Draco's Blades of Honour."

Tenchuu continued to circled around Kenshin as he, once again using his hands and mind, controlled the blades. First he used once blade, blocking Anita's first attack with. Kenshin soon took control of another blade, which was blocked by Anita's second hand. Kenshin's ability to control them from afar gave him an advantage, avoiding getting hit by Anita when she was able to pass the blades and rushed towards Kenshin, who controlled other blades to protect himself, as the first two came back to continue circling around him along with the other blades and Tenchuu.

But as time pass, Kenshin took control of another blade, and then another, making it a total of 4. Kenshin and Anita continued fighting, with Kenshin scoring the more number of hits, though Kenshin was starteing to strain himself to keep the blades under his mind's control.

Letting all the blades to fall around Anita, Kenshin grabbed Tenchuu. Anita stopped moving, glaring at the blades and expecting them to attack her all at once. But the attack never. Instead she saw Kenshin rushing at her, holding Tenchuu who was engulfed, again, in green flames. "Yinglong's Claws of Fury!"

"Again that technique?!" Anita shouted at Kenshin, jumping in the air with her claws extended. "They can't break my claws!"

Kenshin hold Tenchuu's end of the hilt with his left, as he jumped to meet Anita's attack, putting his right hand under Tenchuu's blades. "Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, Ryuushosen!"

Tenchuu clashed with Anita's claws, but a moment after Tenchuu cut through them, surprising Anita. Kenshin continued to rise in the air, hitting Anita in her left shoulder, who started to fall. Kenshin fell, following her, and bringing Tenchuu down.

"Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, Ryuutsuizen!" At the last moment, Kenshin spun Tenchuu in his hand, hitting Anita's right shoulder with the flat of the sword and sending her flying to the ground.

(Okay, I'm back for now I was away cause I had end of term tests. I don't really know what the heck to do now, so I'll make a short post.)

As the three step into the inn, the first thing they did was to sense for any form of danger. So as not to take any risk, they tried hard to get rid of sharp objects like knives. All the finder could do was to just book a room and watch while they worked.

Sastified, they returned to the room exhausted. They got onto their own bunk beds and took a quick nap. The finder, in the meantime tried to contact the others.

"By any chance, have anyone recieved orders?" he asked the rest on their phones.

Kenshin (and Anita)

"So what do you want to know?"

Anita asked as she was sitting on the floor of a room, bandaging her wounds, while Kenshin kept guard and interrogate her. After Anita fall to the ground she fainted, so Kenshin decided to take her to the room he found along with
Peter, who was now preparing dinner. It was night-time and in Kenshin's opinion, a very good time to be attacked. ((Yeah I know this doesn't sounds well, goo story-wise .__.))

"Start by telling me about this group you want me to join and your motives," Kenshin replied.

"Well, we're a group of people who are trying to overthrown the governments of certain countries. The group here in Russia is really just a part of the main group, with smaller ones in other countries, like the one in Germany, being also part of this group."

"How about your leader?"

"The leader of the Russian branch is a woman only few of us have really seen. Even though she has given me orders personally, I have never seen her face, or know her true name. But I can tell you this: her breasts are bigger than mine."

Kenshin looked at her and shook his head. This is not the time to say things like that, he thought. "How about the big fish?"

"Who knows? It could be my boss, or someone commanding another force in another country, or someone who, in the outside, appears have no connection to us at all. It could be the pope himself for all I know."

Kenshin sighed. Although he didn't expect Anita to know this much, he hoped he could learn something so he could inform HeadQuarters, but it seemed he had to go deeper into the tunnel than he already was if he wanted to find something.

"Peter, send a message to HQs and tell them what we know so far. After that, I want you to go to Ryazan to the south and wait for me there. If I don't appear in a few days, go back to HQs."

"Master Kenshin, what are you planning?"

"I'm going to join this organization," said Kenshin as he winked at him. "Anita, once your feeling better please lead the way."

Anita smiled and said "Of course, Kenshin."

After her wounds healed, which luckly didn't took long, Anita took Kenshin through the streets of Moscow towards the stronghold of the group Anita belong to. As they walked, Kenshin wondered if Anita was still planning on getting him to join the group, or if she actually had a change of hearts, and would help him get to the botton of this case.

Kenshin actually hoped that Anita has changed, and that after all this finished, she would go with him back to the order, although he hoped she could go on her way and live away from the war. Not that she would do that, she would probably try to become an exorcist... he thought.

"Hey, are you listening?" Anita asked.

Her voice brought Kenshin back to reality, who became distracted in his own thoughts.

"Eh? Oh, I'm sorry, I was just thinking about some stuff, what's wrong?"

"We're nearing the place. I must warn you, though, that I don't know how she will react once she sees you. My orders were to check your strength and see if you would be of some help for us. I did this under my own judgement, but she might think different of you."

"Well that's assuring, not that it will matter much if she plans on killing me or not, since if she's behind all this, I'll be fighting to take her head."

"But you can take advanatge of that too, right?"

"You're helping me, should I take that as a sign that you're betraying your master?"

Anita looked at him, and said, "I thought it was obvious..." Kenshin noticed a sad tone in her voice, "after all, once the finder left we..." Anita was saying when she quickly looked up to the road ahead. Kenshin also looked up.

Two men, in dark blue business suits were approaching Kenshin and Anita. Each had a sword, tied to their backs, and they seemed to be talking, although Kenshin could not hear exactly what. That's good, if I can't ehar them, they couldn't have heard what Anita was saying, Kenshin thought.

"Anita-san," one of them said, "Boss-sama has sent us to accompany you and your recruit back to the mansion. I hope this is alright with you, Anita-san."

Anita stepped forward and said, "If it is Boss-sama wishes, then I have nothing to say about it. Please accompany us. And this is Kenshin. He seems quite worthy to our cause." Kenshin bowed to them, loooking at their eyes, they bowed back, and started walking.

Kenshin whispered to Anita, "Are they a higher rank or lower rank?"

Anita replied in a low voice, so the other two would not hear her, "Middle rank. Low rank members wear dark green suits, medium rank wear dark blue and high rank wear black, like me."

"So you could take them of them?"

"Yeah... but it would be a bit ahrd to fight two of blue-rank at the same time, but not impossible to beat them. You, however..."

Five minutes later, they turned into a big area with trees a grass, and in the middle there was a big mansion, smaller than the Grand Palace, Kenshin noticed.

"It attracts quiet some attention..."

"There are many mansions like this in Moscow and other cities. So far no one has connected this place to any of our actions, and no one should unless they investigate a lot... not that anyone has lived to tell anyone about their finds."

Kenshin looked at the mansion, and started following the men and Anita.

The mansion looked enormous from the outside, and it looked even bigger inside it, if that was possible. The entrance took Kenshin to a great hall, with a big staircase leading upstairs, and many doors to the side. There were two big doors to the left, which Kenshin noticed lead to the Dinning Room. Anita told him here ate the low and middle rank agents, while the high rank agents ate with the boss in a room upstairs.

Kenshin followed Anita up the stairs, then turned right, where he found more stairs. Kenshin noticed the corridors were fill of statues, armours and paintings of all kind. The corridors were lighted by small torches on the sides, with windows letting the lights from outside to come in.

As they moved along, Anita told Kenshin to stay alert at all times, as it wouldn't be surprising if he was attacked, even inside the mansion.

"Why would I be attacked?" Kenshin asked.

"Because low and middle rank agents would want to prove themselves to our master, and what better way to do that than by killing a specimen brought by a high rank agent?"

"I wouldn't say 'specimen'..." Kenshin added. Anita laughed.

Going up again, the men stopped before two doors. Kenshin bet that it was a big room, as he couldn't see any nearby doors. One of the men spoke.

"Wait here, and wait for the order to come in is given." Then he opened the door and stepped inside, closing the door as he went in.

"What's inside?" Kenshin asked Anita.

"An audience room. Our master must be inside, and she'll test you, to see whether your worthy to serve her or not." Anita replied.

Kenshin was about to asked what the test was about when a noise was heard from inside the room. Kenshin looked at Anita as the second man opened the door and told them to come in.

Anita and Kenshin moved inside after the man. The room was big, with torches all around the room. At the far side of the room, there were a number of chairs, with the one in the center occupied.A girl was sitting there, slightly shrother than Anita. She had neck-length purple hair, with big shiny green eyes. She was dressed in a dark blue martial artist uniform, and a necklace on her neck.

"Welcome, exorcist," the girl said, "You may know me as Kana Kirishima. What is your name?"

Kenshin considered for a moment before saying, "You can know me as Takeshi, Kana-san."

"Anita, please come sit next to me. I must thank you for bringing him."

Anita bowed, then moved before saying, "I am grateful of serving you, Kana-sama."

"Exorcist Takeshi, before I sent you to your quarters, I must apologise."

"Apologise for what?" Kenshin asked.

"For this," Kana said, and she clicked her fingers.

At once, the two men that accompanied him charged at him, their weapons drawn. Kenshin also sensed another blue-agent coming from the roof. Kenshin easily dodged their attacks, and appeared behind one of the agents.

Kenshin drew Tenchuu with lightning speed. The agent turned around and blocked the attack, but before he could parry it, Kenshin activated his innocence.

"Yinglong's Claws of Fury."

Kenshin drove Tenchuu through the agent's sword, and slashed him in the chest, killing him. The other two agents came after him, but Kenshin easily evaded their attacks, before focusing on one agent and beheading him.

The last agent stopped and looked at Kenshin, who was now cleaning his sword from the blood. "Why you ..." The agent tried to tkae Kenshin by surprised, but he left himself open on purpose to kill the last agent without much effort.

"Good good!" Kana said, "Anita, please take Takeshi to his quarters, and then call the others to see if they found anything interesting."

"Yes, Kana-sama," Anita stood up and took Kenshin to his room, which was located on the west side of the mansion.

"You okey there?" Anita asked Kenshin.
