Chinese Mafia: Alteration Arc
---------------------------------------------------
Europe: Black Order HQ
"Exorcists, there seems to be some mischief going on within Asia, and it has to do with the Chinese Mafia, and the Millennium Earl..." The speakers went off in the Science Department and the radio golems to the other Exorcists outside.
"We have reason to believe that the Earl and the Noah, with the help of the Chinese Mafia, are making artificial Innocence that can be compatible with anyone. We also suspect that the members of the Chinese Mafia have been modified to be compatible with these artificial Innocence." The echo of Komui's voice went through all of the halls, everyone stopped eating, training and doing their normal activities, just to hear this shocking news.
Asia: Black Order HQ
"The Noah are helping out greatly with this cause and are using the Chinese Mafia to spread this fake Innocence to people around the world, making them almost Berserk like." Bak Chan's voice startled everyone in their steps as he continued with what he was saying.
"There may be even worse things within the Chinese Mafia and the Millennium Earl's plan, I want you to investigate what's happening, stop the Chinese Mafia Members, the Noah and the people who are running the Mafia also.
Europe: Black Order HQ
"You will be meeting with your fellow Exorcists from the Asian HQ to investigate this. But beware, this is no easy task... there is a lot more to it than meets the eye and you must uncover the truth and stop this at all costs... We, the Black Order, will pay for all of the damage that you make during this mission so do not hold back..."
-------------------
Rules:
- This is an Actual Arc(There are sequels to this Arc as well)
- No canon characters will be on the mission with you
- Unlimited amount of Exorcists/Noah/Akuma can participate
- You will not complete this mission completely yet, but you will solve what really is going on in the end to what's happening within the Chinese Mafia
- If your character was defeated once, he/she may NOT participate in the battle again. Retreating counts as a defeat.
- Travel the Hong Kong and investigate what's happening. You will be fighting a lot of Artificial Innocence Accommodators, mainly the Chinese Mafia Members.
- Note that this is an all-out battlefest. Your character may fight one or more opponents simultaneously, so prepare for the worst.
- Attacks that do AOE damage should be used in moderation. If your innocence's power does a maxmium of 35 damage and you're targetting 6 people, then do not expect to deal 35 damage to all of them. In this case, 10-15 damage would be ideal.
The train just passed through Moscow; as it left, a large explosion was heard, and the entirety of a large church collapsed. Everyone there watched as it crumbled.
They took off through the next station. Jean slept in the corner, bandaged up. Angie slept in the corner, but as the train made a turn, she slid on the seat, finally coming to rest on Jacques' shoulder. Jean took a passing glance, then went back to watching the outside scenery.
The sun was coming to rest, and Jacques decided it was best for him to do the same as Angie. He leaned his head against the side of the car and fell asleep. Raphael seemed preoccupied in his mind. Then, it went black.

Rave
Rave slipped through the streets quickly, dodging the few people he saw outside. The windows and houses were mostly closed, the habitants still worried about the recent castle disappearance. Rave didn't hear the battle sounds behind him anymore; one of the two was clearly either dead or incapable of fighting. Or maybe they finished each other. Either way, for the moment, he needed to focus on what will happen next. He knew that the diadem will be somewhere within the Asia HQ. Something to allow him to push over the limit of synchronization with his Innocence.
No joke, you couldn't possibly be more arrogant than you are now.
"No one is asking you," Rave said angrily.
Yes, you're definitely on the very peak of arrogance.
Rave simply sighed and let it go. He was itching to use the new moves he learned; the faster Innocence was only one part of it. He also could do more advanced swordsmanship techniques. Blink was his favorite by far, three consecutive uses for exceptional maneuvering through combat.
And not a word of thanks, you're...
Rave banged the sword against the ground. "No talking!" This was the second time he shut his sword up; the first was during their training. When he learned the advanced forms of Blink.
Rave flipped away from the Akuma, landing on his feet, then used Blink to appear behind the spherical creature, and slashed it. The resulting explosion ruffled his hair, but nothing more. Twirling Zenryu, he sheathed it.
I'm a her, you know.
The more they talked to each other, the more she seemed to act like a healous girlfriend.
That was disgusting to hear.
Rave banged the sword against a nearby rock.
"No talking!"
He woke up from his memories and looked around. Definitely an underground passage into the HQ. And the best part was, Rave realized that it wasn't even built underground. The actual HQ was on top of a hill. A mansion of sorts stood there, thick brown walls protecting the actual house.
Rave shrugged. If he guessed correctly, then there would be more Exorcists here soon enough. And bad luck that was, but he needed that diadem.
----------------------------
Inside the mafia HQ
Jarlxle
Jarlaxle sat quietly before a level 2 Akuma. The Akuma was thin and stretched, like a screen of sorts. Pictures were moving across it, some showing Rave, others Enishi, one showed several Exorcists in a train riding across a city.
Jarlaxle smiled to himself. Things were moving, and the time for the final act was upon them. He already picked his targets; several unlucky Exorcists who will not leave this place alive.

Dinnin
Dinnin slid through the shadows, waiting. He wanted to fight someone, now. But he knew that he had to wait, for now. The spider that waited patiently always got the fattest fly around.

((I hate having three characters, but it's an all out brawl so I might as well... =p))
Raphael:
Raphael sat down on his couch seat with Jean next to him watching the scenery outside, Jacques slept soundly with Angelique's head resting on his shoulder. The mere sight of them reminded of the number of times their relationship almost brought about the loss of their lives while remembering the method he had to resort to, to end the life of the the assassin they met. Power flowed in from Angelique's and Jacques's innocences into his own, but that was not what was unsual in the whole case. Raphael was well aware of his innocence's powers, he wasn't however, familiar with the magnitude of Jacques's surge of power. Surely, the man's powers were not to be toyed or underestimated. A fleeting thought passed by Raphael's mind as the moon from his coach's window disappeared behind a cloud.
His synchronization... No, it's impossible. How can an exorcist as aloof as this guy here... But...
The case of Allen Walker, an exorcist much like Jacques whose innocence was destroyed and reformed came into play. Raphael started putting the pieces together, but he was by far sure of his conclusion.
Also... If Jacques's powers warrant the awakening of a new unknown level of innocence, then there's bound to be one more person who's going to fathom such power.
The image of a silver haired exorcist, surrounded by a multitude of medium range weapons appeared in the back of Raphael's mind. He whispered the name of the exorcist in a voice so mellow, that even he did not hear himself over the train's continuous collision with the rails.
"Hei Ashur."
---------------------
Jin:
"I'm sorry, Earl-sama! I sincerely apologize for my mistake against those exorcists. They were terribly powerful, and I underestimated them! I'm sorry! Earl-sama!"
A fat man holding an umbrella appeared from the shadows, he drew closer to the kneeling akuma, whose katana rested under his open palms, against the cold floor. With a stroke of his hand, against Jin's hair, the Earl portrayed his usual smile and nodded.
"You're a good man, Jin~. Serve me well, please~."
After meeting with the Noah and the other akuma accompanying Jin. The fat man disappeared into the shadows. He telepathically communicated with Jin though, sending him is next mission order.
"Oh that's right~. Head to China, and protect my little puppet from the hands of those filthy, filthy exorcists~. Remember to bow properly to the Noah clan members you meet, they are my brothers and sisters after all~."
Glad to be the Earl's object of trust, Jin nodded to the open air and slowly raised himself up on his feet. After investigating on the location of Hong Kong from his current spot, Jin laid his katana on the frozen snowflakes and watched it grow to form a board-like object on which he could ride on. Quickly the board levitated off the ground and flew with Jin to his new destination. The akuma watched the objects and buildings zip underneath him as he drew closer to Hong Kong, where his next mission awaited.
Dies skipped lightly across the tarnished soil. It was blackened and burnt, the result of the scorching heat overhead, but some remnants of its original fine golden-brown gleam still drifted around it.
“Thump, Thump.”
Dies’ boots made huge impressions in the soil, displacing the fine grain and squishing several little creatures. His dimensional door had landed them in the middle of agricultural farmland, a few miles out of Hong Kong.
“Oh, jeez. These boots are clean!”
Dies snarled as water from the ground seeped in through the sides of his shoes. He waved his hands, displacing real space beneath his feet, essentially allowing him to float slightly. Kujaku, in his akuma form, was hovering effortlessly nearby.
“Alright, so you can fly too. No need to freakin’ rub it in!”
Kujaku chuckled, rolling over in midair to float along upside down.
“So, Hong Kong suburbs. Boy do I envy the people who live here…”
They walked ahead silently for a bit, Dies whistling a tuneless melody.
“Besides, are we the only ones here?”

((*sighs* This is the best I could come up with. I need some interactions with some chars. So far I will try to make Jacques justice but Z if you want to interact with Angie feel free so we could start moving this LOL))
__________________________________________________ _________________
Angie managed to sleep most of the journey. The recent events apparently took a heavy toll on her emotions and body. In less than a few months she managed to upgrade her abilities and also regain some of her past experiences. Up till now she didn’t told Jacques about how was Rashar but the circumstances took care of it. She was suspicious about her personality but since making a truce Rashar seemed to be less aggressive. For how long she didn’t know. A lot of things worry Angie but just when she felt like frowning or being sad Jacques always managed to cheer her up. His company provided to be a soothing balm for her fears. Sometimes he will just hold her hand on others he will create magic tricks to distract her and make her smile. Jean will watch them from time to time and but he seemed in another wavelength. And Raphael was just a complex mystery. The man would scold them at any opportunity of watching them together but also he will spend countless times on silence with a sad face.
Being the compassionate person Angie is she will try to cheer him up but he never seemed to be happy with anything she will do to please him. Jacques on the other hand didn’t got any repairs to tell Raphael a thing or too about his rudeness the man still will just shrug it off and leave them alone with Angie feeling concerned about the truth about her past. Although they were updated and annoyed by Komui on their way to Hong Kong they still were too far from their destiny. On one of the stops the group decided to eat on the town before heading to continue their journey. Angie felt a bit out of place when she went with her black dress but she didn’t packed casual clothes on her suitcase. To easy the sober look she made a high bun on her hair with some loose streaks to give her a more feminine and adult look. A soft hint of rose lipstick and some press powder made the trick along with a few unbuttoned parts on the neck of her dress. She looked a bit better and managed to make a good impression of Jacques who received her with a kiss on her hand and a reverence.
“Mademoiselle you look splendid tonight may I have the honor of being your date for dinner tonight?” he said after the reverence.
Angie’s cheeks felt like burning and with a nervous giggle she couldn’t stop she returned the reverence and accepted the hand.
“The honor is mine sir.” She felt almost glowing with happiness.
Jean and Raphael were already on the table and the four had a peaceful dinner. Although they were having fun sometimes people couldn’t help but to stare at Angie’s amount of food on her plate. She was quite happy devouring dish after dish while her companions just stare also. Jacques smiled while Jean tried to hold and amused expression. And last but not least Raphael impassive as always was looking from a neutral point of view.
After dinner the group went back to the hotel for the night since the next train was partying early in the morning. Angie and Jacques were holding their hands while Raphael and Jean decided to go ahead. The moon was shining and the soft breeze made Angie walk closer to Jacques. Angie couldn’t help but to smile a long time had been passed since she felt this happy. Not even the fact that Rashar was mocking a romantic tone on her head or just telling her to stop dreaming could hide the fact that she was there with someone who will care for her and be happy with her although the circumstances.
Bidding good night Angie went to her room and prepared for the night. Soon she felt asleep. The sound of a thunder on the distance let her know that although she was living a dream reality was only a few steps away from them.

En-route, Hei and the Kenken triplets
Aboard the train headed for their latest destination, the group sat in the dining car, enjoying a leisurely meal. Kenshin and Anita seemed to be getting along rather well, which was earning him distasteful glares from Kimiko. Amidst this, Hei tried to slide into his chair and cease existing, though with limited success.
I don't think this is my kind of scenario.
Of course not, you are too cynical for happiness.
Thanks, sunshine.
*Plop* some unidentified piece of custard had found its way to Hei's lap. Giving the glare of imminent demise, Hei spots Kenshin looking guilty. It was apparently aimed for his sister, though she had moved.
"Ack, sorry Hei!" laughing it off, Kenshin hands him a napkin. In response, Hei leeches the heat from his hot tea causing Kenshin to spew it towards Anita upon taking a sip of what was now quite frigid.
The antics ensue for awhile as the four make their way along the tracks. Hei begins to get lost in thought.

Yase - Mafia HQ- Lower Dungeon
Yase sat silently in a room deeper down in the depths of the mafia HQ. He too had a level 2 akuma sitting infront of him but his screen was only trained on one image and that was the image of the sitting akuma known as Jarlaxle.
"This one is the same as me, he cant be completely trusted. I'll keep an eye on him" he said to himself, letting the silence in the deep dungeon absorb his voice and exstiguish the existence of it.
It was like the darkness breathed in this room. Yase felt quite at home, as he pulled a string on the wall that alerted the other level 2 akuma that was currently hanging around the dungeon, in wait for this moment. The akuma rushed into the room and bowed.
"This is the letter, you know already who it is for, correct?" said Yase.
"Yes, I will take it to him now."
And the akuma scurried off down a passage and up the stairs.
"Time will only tell" said Yase, smiling to the darkness that yet again absorbed it like a sponge.
All that could be seen were the twinkling eyes of the demon that rested inside, plotting his plans, illuminated by the screen of observation.

Hong Kong - Kenshin, Hei, Kimiko and Anita
After changing trains at least 4 times, and a boat from a port in the south of China; Kenshin, Hei and the girls finally arrived to the town of Hong Kong, south-east of China.
"So this is Hong Kong," Kenshin stated, bored and tired. The trip has been long, and they didn't had many chances to actually sleep in a bed without something coming up.
"Yup, this is the Crown Colony of Britain, Hong Kong. British forces first occupied Hong Kong in 1841 during the First Opium War, and was ceded from China under the Treaty of Nanking. In 1842 Britain established a Crown Colony with the founding of Victoria City." Hei explained to the others, who looked at him very amazed (and confused, as Hei just said a lot of terms they did not know what they meant.)
The group continued along, until they met with some finders. The finders took them to an Inn (whose owners supported the Black Church). Here they were able to have a bath, and be able to sleep in a soft bed.
"And we got new uniforms too!" Kimiko explained, pointing at the suitcases on the table in the living room. After each took a suitcase with their respective uniform, they went to their rooms for a well-deserved rest.

Nicholas and Alexander
Nicholas was slightly concerned about his assigned partner. Alexander's glasses and eccentric expressions worried Nicholas as he attempted to hide his anxiousness. He did however, through his needless suspicions, keep his manners. Alexander, along with Nash, is one of two newly discovered Noah. Though they are brothers, Nicholas did not know either of them at all. When they first met, Nicholas politely introduced himself.
-----
"Good Evening. I am Nicholas, who represents the Malevolence of Noah."
Nicholas bowed respectfully. Surprisingly enough, Alexander was also quite polite.
"It's a pleasure. I am Alexander, of the Betrayal."
Like Nicholas, Alexander bows.
-----
Thinking about that moment in his head, Nicholas put his worries to rest. He peered outside their train's window. They were half way through Russia when Nicholas last checked. They were on a mission to China, deal with some exorcists that are interfering with Mafia-Akuma relations. Something felt off about this one particular mission though.

Nash and Mikhail:
"Hey new-buddy-whose-name-I-can't-remember! What was our mission again? I snoozed off during the Earl's boring lecture to direct us to our destinations. I mean come on, who would actually bother listening to a fat blob with an umbrella and a dorky hat like that? Doesn't that guy know that this stuff is out of fashion already?"
Nash's defining traits aside from his outer looks included him being very talkative, often about irrelevant topics. This was one of the few serious conversations he had with someone, and was partly because the Noah wanted to draw a good impression on his new brother, not that he's any older himself.
"Buddy, there's this thing that you have to keep in mind when fighting one of those bloody exorcists. Always, and I mean ALWAYS, retreat when you think it's too much for you to handle. A stubborn mind will lead you nowhere but your grave. A tactical retreat can bring you closer to winning the war than leading a losing battle."
The Noah kicked back in his chair opposite to Mikhail's, whose face was turned around towards the fleeting scenery while keeping his eyes on Nash's face. After an awkward pause between the two Noah, Nash broke the silence by the sound of his elbow joint cracking as he stretched his limbs in his seat.
"Don't worry though! You've got me! We'll be A-OK!"
Nash's energy levels then hit the zero level, as he rested his head and shoulder against the cold window and closed his eyes to rest for the remainder of the trip. Given the time now, Nash estimated that they'll be there by sunrise the next day.

Raphael
The clock in the hallway struck two times, it was 2 in the morning. Raphael's mind was filled with concerns about his travelling troupe, specially the lover's combo. He has already analyzed and organized his thoughts about Jacques, but what about the woman?
Referring back to the words of the torn tomes and books found in the aftermath of the Asian HQ, Raphael's mind zones in on the two pages he read about "the animorph". A woman was brought to the Asian HQ, who developed MPD as a result of the cruel and inhumane experiments that were carried out on her and her compatible innocence. The second personality was codenamed "Rashar", and was implied as being quite hostile to her original persona whose name was unfortunately torn out of the book's pages.
The battle that Raphael witnessed replayed back in his mind, as he noticed Angelique's unstable nature and her transmogrifying abilities. Her tone switched from being compassionate to vulgar.
Rashar... Huh?
He slowly walked into Angelique's room as she lie there resting peacefully and stroked the air a couple of inches away from Angelique's body. Quietly, he whispered the words as if talking to himself in this pitch black room.
"And where are you resting now? Rashar..."
Noticing that she was about to turn over towards him, Raphael quickly snuck out of the room and back into the hallway, where Jacques stood there in wait.
"I did-"
"I know." Replied Jacques. "You're probably interested in her MPD more than "her", as in the actual person."
"I am. Have you ever met this, Rashar before?"
Jacques leaned his back against the corridor's walls. He looked at the oaken floor as if trying hard to remember any meetings that he might have had with the woman. A stern "no" followed thereafter, to which Raphael nodded, and walked away.
"I haven't met the "person", but I've had a glimpse of her "persona"."
Raphael turned his head a bit towards Jacques and showed signs of a feint smile.
"I've met the "person", but not the "persona"."
Jacques stood there thinking to himself about Raphael's words. Meeting the "person" within a MPD meant seeing the actual physical body, which would be Angelique's; knowing Raphael though, he probably meant something deeper and unfathomable to his humble information compared to the "Bookman".

"Are we the only ones here?"
The Noah's words were soon answered by a rather carefree "No." A man in a black suit and red tie stepped out of a door shaped portal, that vanished behind him.
Killinger looked forward at a man with a coat and scruffy jeans , who was clearly Noah, and the Akuma that floated near him in the air. As he stepped in to the ground, he found it squishy, and was glad he was not in Akuma form and had shoes on. With a look of mild disdain at the surrondings, Killinger stepped forward towards the Noah, introducing himself, bowing slightly at the waist to show respect. "My name is Killinger, Im a level 2 the Earl has sent to aid you in your mission."

China- Jean:
The stench an unkempt and crowded station filled the air. Stepping outside the doors of their carriage, Jean watched as a group of filthy-looking children with torn clothes ran passed, chasing a runaway chicken. Mice crept up onto Angelique's shoulder, startling her as her slight squeal echoed through the small station.
"Shall we look for accommodation?" said Raphael in an unimpressed voice. "Surely anything is better than staying here for too long. Thieves thrive in places such as these."
"Crowds are also bad for exorcists like as," Jean muttered. "Let's move, and hope we can find a place to stay before the night."
So many poor people. The conditions are terrible. Lord knows how they survive as human beings here.
_____________
Ruth:
Stepping outside a shadowy portal, a red butterfly emerged to scout for the surroundings. As soon as the coast was clear, Ruth herself stepped out of the dark corridor to find herself above a high mountain cliff overlooking a crowded fishing town.
Such a rural, yet peaceful place. Yet...considering how poor this shanties look, this would be perfect conditions for poverty and crime..
The wind whistled as the trees swayed and rustled by the soft sea breeze. The smell of salt wafted through the air as Ruth made her way down the stone cliff.
"Perhaps I'm going to need a change of attire for this place. I would stand out too much and be a popular target for annoying and petty thieves..."

Short post cause I’m at work.
The path was dessert and rural. Still she could guess where she was. Again the faint scent of blood filled her nostrils and made her began to move. Hunger she needed something to satiate the hunger inside her body. The cravingfor the flesh, blood and death. This last statement made her stop. Taking a look around, Angie noticed that somehow she deviated from the path and ended up in front of a river. Soon she noticed the water of the stream turning red like blood. Thirst deep and asphyxiating was creeping thru her throat. Leaning she began to drink from the bloody water. But the more she drank the thirstier she would become. Stopping suddenly she saw in awe a pair of claws coming out from the river and pulling her inside.
No matter how much she struggled the she was being pulled down deeper into the river. Her lungs were burning and the physical demand was increasing. Air she needed air to survive, but then she felt tired too tired to keep fighting. Soon her arms and legs stopped moving and then her eyes began to loose focus. Her last memory was seeing her family looking at her while she was getting drown on the bloody river.
Coughing Angelique awoke with a jumps and gasping for air. Needing to step on the balcony she tried to get out of the bed but ended up falling on the floor. A loud thud and a sharp pain on the shoulder made her task of breathing for air more difficult. A soft knock on the door caught her attention. With clumsy movements she barely made it to the door. Jacques was there looking concerned and his expression change to one of alarm when he saw her. Opening more the door he took Angie on his arms and put her back on the bed. But Angie tried to get out and reach for the balcony.
“Angie what’s wrong? What happened?” he said getting panic by her unstable gasping.
Angie signed the balcony door and tried once more to go there. But she was tired and without air. Jacques understood her pleading and took her there. Once Angie was there Jacques began to soothe her and calm her. Angie on the other hand when she felt the soft breeze on her face she began to regulate her breathing little by little. A couple of minutes later she was calmed and breathing regularly. Jacques let his relived be shown and hold her.
“You had a nightmare?”
“Yes, I…its been a while since I had them. I…just…I mean…” she tried to explain.
“Shh, its ok you can tell me later. Now just lean on me and as soon as you fell asleep I will leave you on your bed ok?” was Jacques only reply.
Angie couldn’t talk so she nodded and smile sadly for the words Jacques said. She was lucky to have him.
“Yes you are lucky Angie, but for how long?” it was Rashar’s voice “What will happen when he discovers how much alike we are? Do you think he will still love you…”
“Stop it please leave me alone. I just can’t deal with this now.” Said Angie with a soft sob.
“You can’t run forever Angelique; sooner or later you will be confronted with your past. And You will have to decide which side are you on. Of course that is if he really loves you. So far he hasn’t declare to you yet.” Said Rashar with a sarcastic tone.
Angie blocked Rashar’s cynical laugh by concentrating on Jacques soothing back rub. Soon she felt relaxed and fell asleep in his arms. Jacques put her on bed and tuck her in. With a soft kiss on her forehead he left her on her room till the next morning.

The Noah Mikhail had been assigned with was quite extravagant, in almost every way possible. He spoke loudly when he was in whispering distance, and had a sense of comical injustice that was simply finny, but not funny enough to make another laugh. But nonetheless, this was the first Noah that had actually spoken to Mikhail in a way that he was treated like an equal, so some sense of politeness had to be returned.
"It's Mikhail, not buddy."
A deadly direct sentence quietened the mood, clearly out of place in this upbeat atmosphere. But all that added to the hilarity of the joke. As Mikhail saw Nash think strangely of what he had just said, he began giggling, until it became into a full grown laugh.
"Ahahahaha. That look was priceless. Ah, sorry about that mate, but it looks like we were partnered for more than just one reason."
Mikhail smiled at the relief in Nash, but had to press on to answer his questions. Nash was actually asleep during the Earl's lecture, and even though it was disrespectful, he saw it as his duty to let his partner into the know.
"The Earl told us we're heading for Hong Kong, some whackadoo about the Chinese Mafia and the Exorcists. All I know is that we're going to have to fight, and we'll get more orders once we're there."
"By the way, I'm the Noah of Regret."

Jean:
A knock on the door.
"Come in!" was a faint female voice.
Letting himself in, Jean opened the door to find a rather tired Angelique. "Sorry to bother you but we must go now to the dock and catch our ship to Hong Kong- assuming you are ready."
"Oh, I'll be fully ready real soon, don't worry," she smiled.
Jean replied back with a chuckle as he closed the door. He decided to walk down to the streets and find some supplies they would need for their next stage of travel.
"Maybe some sea-sick medicine just in case..."
_________
Ruth:
With change of a more rural attire, and a large straw hat covering her face Ruth wandered the streets of the coastal town, making frequent fake coughs as she walked with a cane.
I look so much older than what I really am...
Stares from villagers were numerous. Even with her disguise- her skin color and facial characteristics were clear enough she is not from the village. It couldn't be helped.
She stopped her trek as soon as she found a large ship resting at the dock. A bald man was shouting "Hong Kong! Hong Kong in 30 minutes!!" as he happily collected gold coins from travelling foreigners.
Smiling Ruth approached the man, who stopped her with his hand.
"Money or no go."
"Not even for a poor sick woman?"
The same gesture for money.
"Oh might as well....I guess..this would be my last set of coins" said Ruth in a frail voice, as she shakily handed him three gold coins.
"Enjoy your trip woman," the man smiled yet still retained an angry look in his eyes.
Wretched man...you'll get what you deserve.
A small red and black butterfly slipped into his bag of coins.

The knock on the door let Angie knows that she had to be ready. Jean entered after she said a faint come in. They speak for a few seconds before he left her to finish her preparations. She was tired and a bit scared. The nightmare was something that really took care of her. Rashar was unusually silent which made the situation worse for Angie. She could handle her rants but not her silence. With a bit of work she managed to finish her bags and go and meet the rest of the group. She felt tired but she tried to hide it with a big smile. Her face hurt from the effort and she felt like it was going to tear up. Still she managed to be the same Angie from always except for Jacques. He snatched her bags as soon as he saw her and kept his pace next to her.
Raphael gave some glimpse from time to time but he didn’t say a thing. Something which stirred Rashar out a bit and gave Angie a lightly headache. The trip to the ship was hell and Angie just wanted to reach her room to just sleep a bit more. Her mind was full of too many thoughts that she almost got knocked out three times by other people. Thankfully Jacques managed to help her out. Once she arrived to her room she just went to the bed and almost fell asleep instantly. Jacques was worried since it was the first time she was like this. He took her shoes off and covered her with a blanket. After checking she was alright he went out to get his own room which he shared with Raphael and Jean.
“How is she?” asked Jean.
“She is asleep. She had a nightmare last night…”Jacques was interrupted by Raphael.
“What did she dreamt off?”
“We didn’t have time to talk. She apparently got a panic attack. I went to look at her after we talked because I heard a loud thud on her room apparently she fell from the bed and hurt the shoulder. She must be healed by now. But the nightmare is something else. She didn’t tell me about it except that it was an omen. That something might going to happen.” Said Jacques.
“Let her rest she can be ask later. For now we need to rest also the journey might be long and we don’t know what might we encounter on our way to China.” Said Jean.
The three men agreed but Jacques decided to watch Angie a bit more.
“We can have turns just in case. I cant afford to have two people on the team weakened. I will relieve you in 3 hours until Angelique gets better.” Said Raphael.
Jacques didn’t argue and went back with his book to Angie’s room. She was in the same way he left her. Even risk Raphael’s raw Jacques took his boots off and sit on bed next to Angie. By instinct she reached for his hand and he let it have it. He brushes softly his thumb over her hand and started reading his book.

After resting, the four reconvened in the lobby over breakfast as they waited on other exorcists to arrive.
"This is taking too long, isn't it nii-san?" Kimiko says looking over to Kenshin. Kenshin nods in agreement, as does Anita, and Hei snaps one of his chopsticks in irritation.
"We'll fix that, after breakfast we'll walk the streets looking for usual signs of akuma or false innocence. That should make everyone happy. Then with luck others will arrive and contact us." Hei mutters as he retrieves a new chopstick.
Finishing up, the four leave the comfort of the traditional Inn and begin to step along the streets.
"Hei? Where is your uniform?" Kenshin asks as Hei is wandering around in a hakama he'd picked up from somewhere, which it actually had been sent in place of his uniform, courtesy of Cloud.
"Some woman swapped my uniform for it." Hei grumbles as they continue onwards.
"Aren't you a commander now? Shouldn't you have your uniform?" Anita's questioning glance now.
"I'm sure thats what she was thinking. She enjoys giving me hell." Still muttering, Hei increases the pace. At least he liked wearing things like this other than the uniform, though it was highly unprofessional for a first time out commander, where he'd be giving orders officially.
As they continued their way, Kimiko would keep getting left behind as she's be staring at market stalls and the wide variety of goods to be had in Hong Kong. One seldom occasion or another, Hei or Kenshin would buy a small item for her, just to keep things moving.

(Dimitri, Martosu, Jade and hiro)
A few scraps of old news paper blew throughout the back ally and a stray chicken ran about that had no drought escaped from the bazaar not that was not to far from there. A brilliant flash of light filled the ally as space distorted from the portal. And just like that four Exorcists where thrown out of it in a heap as it vanished. Anyone that could take a look at the odd group would definitely be a little surprised. There Exorcists robes in taters and sporting many fresh wounds from there recant battle.
"Martosu let me look at your wounds" Jade called out not a second after they had touched down.
Martosu held out what was left of his arm for jade to inspect as Dimitri took out his golem to try and reach HQ. They had no idea where the portal had taken them and they would need to get some info on the current situation
"HQ this is Dimitri Richardson, do you copy"
"AH Dimitri, did you have fun on your little trip" the ultra cherry voice from none other then Komui rang out from on the other side of the line
"It was not as good as first class accommodations but we will live" Dimitri answered back
"SO i assume you have made it Hong Kong alright then"
"Ya but what are we supposed to be doing here, we are kinda in the dark right now"
"Dont worry about that, I will send over the mission specs via your golem, I have some news for you though Dimitri. The word came down from the higher ups not that long ago and it seems they have given the the rank of Commander" Komui chirped from the other side
"Really, what an odd choice but if that is what they want" Dimitri said
"Yes yes i knew we would see good thing from you, well I am sending the specs over now Komui out" and the other side of the line went dead
Turning back to others he gave each of them the papers that Komui had sent. Each of them looked it over as jade continued to poor her power into Martosu
"So what should we do now" hiro piped in after everyone had went over the specs
"Well it would be nice if we could get some rest, we are not exactly in the best shape" Dimitri said indicating to the whole in his shoulder
"after that we should see if we can find any other or any clues on the mafia. We should be careful though as you read there is surly some noah around here and it would not be such a good idea for us to get in a fight right now"
With a nod of agreement the four stepped out of the back ally and walked into the bustling bazaar
"Oh?"
The Earl has sent an akuma to babysit me? No, why would he send such a weakling.
Dies considered telling the akuma to self-destruct to see if he was like the ones he'd met in Hu He's cavern that wouldn't respond to the instructions, but thought better of it. It may well be just a new akuma - it certainly looked like it.
Kujaku was busy poking the akuma in the rear and scouting him out.
"Alright!"
Dies waved his hand flamboyantly.
"I'm fed up of walking through this sludge!"
He grabbed the akuma by the shoulders and opened a dimensional door, sstriding through it. They reappeared a few kilometers further along, on dry grass. They could see a thriving mass of civilization in front of them. A worn-out sign on the side read
"Welcome to Hong Kong" in Chinese letters.
Kujaku, who had been flying overhead, descended, landing on the floor like a cat.
Dies turned to the new akuma and whispered in his ear.
"Now, you're not very strong, so don't go running off by yourself."

Killinger put up with the annoyance of the larger akuma poking around at him, simply twitching away as it tried to get to him. When the portal was opened, Killinger instinctively stepped through behind Dies. This sort of thing was becoming common place to him.
Upon arrival in Hong Kong, Dies whispered to Killinger. "Now, you're not very strong, so don't go running off by yourself."
Killinger nodded and replied in a low tone, "I know, sir. I learned that the hard way in my first mission in Russia." After saying this, Killinger fiddled a bit with his right palm and continued following the Noah.
The portal opened on the side of the ships deck and out of it stepped Gabriel looking clean and neat apart from his obvious out of place appearence on the vessel..After looking back at the portal for a moment or two he then turned around and walked a few metres down the deck to a junction of corridors leading into the centre of the ship..Approaching the junction a man suddenly stepped out onto the outer deck and upon seeing him shouted something un-intelligible and demanded that Gabriel stop where he was...
What a fool..
Smilling Gabriel walked smoothly over to the man who started to make blustered accusations and then with a grin picked him up and hurled him bodily over the rail with a scream and a splash.
What filthly clothes...
Wipping his hands together he then turned around around and headed down the corridor towards the sleeping quarters where he could feel the power eminations that represented the targets he was interested in...Turning another corridor he wandered a way down it till he came to a cabin door on his left...Flicking his hand out to his right his Gaseous akuma came sliding out...and drifted up towards his ear to hear it's instructions..
"Ensure that i'm not interupted untill I call...If need be multiple yourself to ensure none enter this door.."
Then with a smoothing of his decorum and his facial and body features he reached for the door and stepped inside the room to find an exorcist standing up dropping both a book and the hand of the lady who was sleeping on the bed he was sitting beside her on.
"Please don't get up on my account" Gabriel said with a flourish of his hand while with the other he slammed the door closed.."I understand this must be distressing for you and unexpected however rest assured you should hear me out before you do anything rash."
Then straightening up he placed his other hand on the hilt of his sword and waited to hear what the Exorcist would say.
((Angelina should be awake for this as well, Also the other exorcists that are with you will be able to be let through by the Akuma next to the door to hear the offer as well..))

Nero
Waiting on a boat where some sea louse had required a gold coin for passage, Nero's billowing white robes flutter with the wind. Certainly the man had not seem a coin like that before, imprinted with Nero's own face after all.
However Nero soon felt a familiar presence, one of those 'sibling's' of his was boarding. Walking across the ship to see who it was he was at least delighted to see it was one he could mildly get along with. Ruth. Dressed as a hag.
"What in the nether hells are you wearing woman?" Nero questions as he approaches the homeless looking woman.
"Why are you attempting to blow my cover, jackass?" Ruth shoots back.
"Oh, sorry I didn't know if this wasn't something you did on your own time as well."
"Why would it be? Clearly. Now, please get away from me if you insist on dressing in what will draw all the attention of Hong Kong." She did have a point. A little illusory play and Nero was looking almost as bedraggled as she was.
"This better?" Intones Nero
"A bit." Answered in short.
"I feel disgusting. So whats the point of looking like this?"

Jacques stood up as soon as he saw the man entering the room. Immediately he recognized the Noah and soon assumed a defensive position. He took a look at Angie who was still sleeping although her face showed signs of starting to get awake.
"Please don't get up on my account" Gabriel said with a flourish of his hand while with the other he slammed the door closed.."I understand this must be distressing for you and unexpected however rest assured you should hear me out before you do anything rash."
“What do you want with us?” demanded Jacques in a serious tone.
In the moment Angie awoke to found Jacques with his fist closed. Looking and feeling a bit disoriented she soon focus on the man standing on the door. His face seemed familiar somewhere. A few seconds later she recognized him and was going to greet him when Jacques said.
“Angie he is a Noah stay next to me.” While grabbing her hand.
Angie looked once again at the man then she felt the akuma outside the room. The pinch on her heart confirmed his suspicions and then she grab Jacques hand.
“Well what you are waiting for?” tell us what you want to tell us and leave before we decide to take care of you.” Said Jacques while Gabriel made a smile and start talking.

((This slightly detours the minute plans I had of meeting with Hei and the Kenkens, but I suppose it works :).))
Raphael:
Right after the events late that night, Raphael rested his head against his soft pillow and went to bed. The last thing on his mind was preparing a schedule for tomorrow's events. Commander Hei Ashur and his party were going to arrive in China to track down the infamous Hu He. Leader of the Chinese mafia and exporter of this fake innocence that seems to be in rave lately. Reports from China and Russia also noted the appearance of supernatural beings with powers that were neither innocence nor dark matter. Local residents of Russia and Germany noted the presence of suspicious people with crests similar to the Kirin used for the Chinese mafia's family insignia.
Night passed quickly, bring about the sloth side of Raphael, who couldn't help but wake up at midday. After washing up, he walked out of his room and into Jean's next door to make sure he was awake and ready.
"Good morning. Let's go meet up with Jacques and Rashar."
"Rashar?" Questioned Jean as he walked out of his room and into the hallway next to Raphael.
"Sorry, I meant Angelique. Information jumble."
"Right." Nodded Jean as he led the way towards Jacques's room only to be surprised by the presence of a gaseous entity in front of Angelique's door that was just opposite to Jacques's.
"What is an akuma doing here?" Asked Raphael as he walked towards the door fearlessly. His knowledge of the structure of akuma made him realize that this one was no more than a mere pawn to a stronger master with a level not surpassing the 1st. He kicked the door open as the akuma cleared the way for him inside.
A man, dressed in a neat suit from top to bottom, and hair tied up in a ponytail sat opposite to Jacques and Angelique. Their hands clutched on each other indicating that this guy was no ordinary person.
"A Noah... To what honor do we owe this visit?"
Came the sarcastic question of the low blood pressure beast, who despised waking up in the morning (Raphael).

Nash, Mikhail:
After having listened to Mikhail's synopsis of the mission and sleeping for the rest of the trip, Nash arrived on the lands of China, where the poor, wealthy, strong and weak were hard to determine in this massive crowd. Knowing that it'd be useless to try and communicate with the rest of the Earl's minions through traditional methods, Nash resorted to using his telepathy to catch up with his siblings.
Mikhail and I are in China. So, where do we meet? Should we just head up to the warehouse area and stand guard until those exorcists show up, or should we launch a pre-emptive strike on them? Come on buddies! My blood is boiling in excitement!
Nash and Mikhail wandered the streets of China after Nicholas passed on the order for them to rendevous with Dies and his pet akuma. Their mission was to launch a strike on the exorcists wandering the Chinese markets. One of them was none other than Hei Ashur, a shining commander in the forces of the Black Order known for his control over the fire elemental spirits.

Rave
Rave stepped quickly through the city, intending to reach the mafia HQ as soon as he could. The diadem he heard so much about could prove to be useful, especially if it went with his earring.
It may only be a myth.
"The ring is true. It allowed me to heighten my synchronization with you to the point I can speed your attack beyond my original power. If ha;f the legend is true, why won't the other half be?"
Because you're taking the word of a giant dog, a succubus, and a half-living zombie?
"Yeah, you kind of got a point there. Still, circumstances presented, I'd rather check this half of the story and come out empty handed than wonder whether I missed an opportunity to gain more power."
A worthy sacrifice, I'm sure.
"Oh, screw you."
He continued walking brusquely through the streets, until he reached a building that looked like a place others might stay in. He wondered whether he should go in, or move out to the harbor. Deciding was a difficult situation, he may run into Exorcists in either location and that carried a risk - he had no interest in fighting them right now. While his power was undoubtedly great enough to at least fight equally with any Exorcist - if not beat most of them - doing so would only weaken the resistance to the Earl.
He crossed his hands on his chest. Decisions, decisions.
((If anyone inside China wants to interact with Rave right now, feel free to do so. If not, I'll toss a coin between meeting the new arrivals (Kenken triplets, Hei and co and lovey-dovey couple) in a few posts. Note that I won't bother fighting unless you show aggression first))

Jarlaxle
"Interesting." Jarlaxle leaned back and looked at the screen before him with a small, smug smile. Apparently the Noah intercepted a group of Exorcists on the road to China and were now preparing to battle. A fun situation to observe - if the Exorcists survived, he will know which one to target next. He wanted the most powerful ones right now, to show and test his new powers and their limits.
He ignored Yase's intrusive watch, for now. The level 2 Akuma could be useful, but... truly, perhaps he was not as useful as he had thought. Still, circumstances wrote out the play, and he needed an ally.

"mendokuse" Leiko said to herself in a sigh while looking at the water.
She was on a ship, looking absently to the water and she was annoyed as usual.
*flashback*
Leiko was walking towards the dinner room, when she suddenly saw the fat shadow of the Earl. She looked around trying to find a door ro any room so she can avoid him but it was too late.
"Leiko~, darling~ I have a new mission for you <3" said the Earl
She sighed. "What is is now old-man?".
Again, a lot of details that she didn't payed attention to: fake innocence, chinese mafia. She just didn't cared and pretended to listen to him and failed at that. She couldn't help it, she was tired of the Earl and his complicated plots, she just focus on the exorcists, her preys.
But then, one of the lines the Earl said caught her attention: "... for all this now you have to go to china to meet with you brothers and your sister"
She glared at the Earl. kuso-jii-yi, you know well that I don't like to share my missions with those persons.
Now she couldn't hide anymore that she was in a bad mood.
Eventually The Earl walked behind her and putting his hands on her shoulders while a portal was opening in front of her and he was pushing her forward gently.
"Now dear, go or you'll miss your brothers".
"hai hai" Leiko said and walked inside the portal, then the Earl remind her:
"Remember, hide yourself and be discreet until the right time is necesary to show yourself as a Noah ~<3"
"hai hai" She repeated and then the portal closed behind her.
Eventually she reached her destination and following the Earl's command, much to her annoyence, she discretely walked around the town in her light form but dressed on her elengant black costume, which called the attention of some people and she even dealt with that annoying man at the dock who was offering a trip to Hong Kong. She had to hold her urges to kill the man when he was asking her for money.
*end of flashback*
She got bored of looking at the water and started to walk around the ship and then she saw a familiar face and frowned. The man looked up at her.
"So you're also here, woman?"
"I've told you clearly the last time, ahou... is not 'woman', the name's Leiko"
"Oh you recongnized me?... And my name is not 'ahou', is Nero"
"Whatever..." then Leiko looked at Nero's side. And old woman was sitting right next to him. "... and who is this old-hag"
The woman raised her head.
"How rude of you sister".
Leiko give her a second look, even with that disguise she could notice it was Ruth.
tch, perfect... now I'm on the same ship as these two..
“What do you want with us?” demanded the Exorcist who was standing over the bed in a serious tone....Taking a moment to allow the exorcist to get used to the presence of a noah so close Gabriel took a look at the Lady on the bed as she slowly opened her eyes and after looking at the man over her sat up and looked at Gabriel..
“Angie he is a Noah stay next to me.” said the man whilst leaning with his arm down and grabbing her hand...Reaching up she took the hand and then focused her attentions on Gabriel again.
“Well what you are waiting for?” tell us what you want to tell us and leave before we decide to take care of you.” said the man again with a hint of fustration in his voice.
"It's rather simple in fact" began Gabriel taking his hand of the hilt of his sword and leaning up agains the Cabin door.
"I havn't been finding much fun in the excursions with your kind over the past few months..It's like swatting flys that refuse to go away..So in my quieter moments I surveyed all that bespoke around me and came to the conclusion that it's better if I try a different tact....It's with this in mind that I would like to call a Truce of sorts between your kind and myself for the time being and allow me to come with you...But please don't feel that I'm asking you this because regardless of the answer I'll be near you and this is a way of deciding your own fate of sorts."
Ending his explanation Gabriel reached up his hand and covered a small yawn which escaped from his mouth..
So much talking is bad for my throat I feel
((Gabriel will protect the exorcists inside this cabin no matter what happens during the rest of the trip. Better to stay away in my opinion.))

Jean:
As Jean kept a watchful eye at the Noah Jean refused to stay too far from the door.
"I suppose when you put it that way.." he began to speak, "We can't get rid of you so easily either way."
Staring directly at the yawning Noah's eyes he continued, "But try anything funny and we will have to be forced to act accordingly."
This is going to be one long trip...

Ruth:
"What? Don't any of you find it interesting to be in a little role play with this humans?" Ruth smiled, as she turned her head to stare at the clear blue sea. "I suppose someone like you Nero wouldn't know what it's like too well to be a commoner."
Nero only gave an inaudible grunt.
"Siblings-sama~!!!!!!"
A voice echoed as a petite little girl's voice came from above. None of the sailors nearby seemed to hear the high-pitched voice, but the Noah know all too well who she was.
"Aho, what do you want Road?" Leiko snapped back.
"Mail for Ruth-sama~!!!"
Seconds later a white fancy envelope dropped from the sky and onto Ruth's hands. Opening the letter her face broke into a smile as her target was revealed in the disclosed card.
"Hmm...interesting," Leiko snuck a peak. "I'd rather have that person than my wretched target."
Readjusting her hat Ruth then began to walk towards the rooms below. "I'm going to see what else lies in this ship. Feel free to join me when you feel like it."

Angie just stayed silent while Gabriel talked and made his proposition.
"I see so he wants to have fun at the cost of our own. Funny how their mind works sometimes"was Rashar statement.
“What you mean?” asked Angie intrigued.
“I don’t know but I don’t like Noah’s if he is acting all bored he can backstab us in any moment. The fact that Jean is accepting his help means that he is either stupid or he thinks that by having someone of their kind at our side can help us at all. I wonder what cupid thinks about it.” Wonder Rashar while taking a look at Raphael.
“And you think I will accept this so easily?” asked Jacques a bit anger.
Angie felt the tension on his arms and felt a chill over her body.
(“Something is going to happen. I know it will and I can’t do anything to stop it.”) Thought Angie a bit agitated.
I think I will go for some air. I’ll be right back.” Said Angie leaving everyone including the Noah confused at her reaction.
Stepping on the deck she approaches the beginning of the ship and take a deep breath several times. A million of questions came into Angie’s head and tried to search for answer to all of them. But how could she? When she didn’t even know about her past. Giving a deep sigh she lean her head on the rail and tried to rest.
”Why don’t you take a rest? I can manage the situation better I think.” was Rashar suggestion.
“I cant I need to prove myself and the others I can do this…” but Rashar interrupted her.
”Excuse me for not crying but this is not a Greek Tragedy Angelique. This is the real world and you either swim or sink. If you float you will get pull down, or get eating or biting by others. So my best advice you need to start training in your mind. You cant keep exposing yourself to the world and hope to have mage boy and company around you like bodyguards for the rest of your life. Right now this is a battlefield not…”but then it was Angie’s turn to interrupt her.
“Who you think you are? You only had giving me trouble. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t had lost my memory. You are the same or worse than they. Just leave me alone. GO AWAY!” shouted Angie while holding her head.
A pair of hands came from behind and startled her. She was about to shout and struggle when she felt Jacques soothing voice.
“Angie? What’s wrong? Are you ok?”
Angie just turned around and embraces Jacques. She didn’t say a word. She just basks on his warmth and protection and tried to forget about everything. Jacques didn’t push the matter any longer and stayed with her until she calmed down. On the distance Raphael was concerned. Angelique was giving indications of instability beyond the normal. Could it be that she was not sure about her role in this mission? He wanted to have a private chat with her. But now it was not the moment she was looking too fragile. Something was not right. Taking another look he saw both of them coming back in his direction. He retreat to his room and then starts planning for the worse.

(In central Hong Kong)
members-Dimitri. Martosu, Jade, hiro and Keisuke
The bazaar was packed with people, all hurrying about from here and there in a little frenzy. The yell of sellers trying to attract the next customers filled the air. The four Exorcists stepped out of a clothing shop sporting a new wardrobe, there old Exorcist uniforms in hand. They very well could not go walking around in the sad conditions that there uniforms where in so they had ordered a temporary change tell they got them mended.
Martosu, Jade, hiro and Keisuke had all got just simple travel clocks but Dimitri had found a set Chinese martial arts clothes and just thought they where so cool and got them instead.
"So where should we start looking first" asked hiro
"Well if anything i think the first place we will catch any news is right here in the bazaar so i think our best bet is to stick around here for a bit"
As they where making there way through the crowd they past a food stand that was giving off the most heavenly sent and a growl came from Dimitri's stomach reminding him about how hungry he was.
"Come on guys, lets get something to eat, i know you have to be hungry too" Dimitri said to the others as he ran up to the food stand. The others chuckled a bit at there young Commanders antics but fiqured it would not hurt to grab a bit to eat as well
After they had all got there meal they went and sat down in a nearby area to eat there lunch.
"So i was thinking about the best way to find sum info on these Chinese Mafia guys and i came up with a great way to find them. There has to be some underground gambling rings going on and they are no doubt run by the nob bosses. If we infiltrate them we should get a good idea on the going ons here in Hong Kong" Dimitri told the others as they munched down on there lunch
"You dont think they would be a little wary of new comers though" Martosu added
"I dont think that will be problem,In those place money talks and i have enough to keep them happy" Dimitri said as he slurped up his last noddle
Something caught Dimitri's attrition out of the corner of his eye though, a certain flame Exorcist that he would of missed had he not taken a second look. He had stopped at one of the stalls in front of him and he had thought he was just another person since he was currently not in uniform, Well nether was he being in the martial arts uniform and the others in there clocks so that was probably why he had missed them.
"Hei, HEI" Dimitri called out as he went bouncing over to him with the other four in toe

Rave
Rave walked through the winding streets and looked around, wondering why there were no Exorcists around. Considering the amount of "Fake Innocence" running around - it was outdoing drug-dealing, and Opium prices actually went down - he half expected a hundred Exorcists to come down on the place with their Innocence lighting up the skies in bright blue.
Why blue?
"Because I like the color, that's why."
You strike me more as an indigo or purple person...
"Oh?"
Yes. Arrogant and an absolute prick. Just like any aristocrat.
"Why you little..."
He shook his head and rounded a corner. Down the street he spotted two Exorcist groups that just noticed each other. Jumping backwards, he looked for a way to get out of sight, and spotted an entrance to the building. Getting to the roof would be easy, and he can overlook them from there. He climbed up quickly, agile as a cat, and crouched on the roof just as one of the Exorcists called "Hei".
Oh, great... Hei...
Be wary. I sense that something has changed about him.
Don't tell me he's got Critical powers.
Hong Kong Border
Dies, Kujaku, and Killinger.
"I told you already! I don't SPEAK YOUR LANGAUGE!"
The gaurd in front of the gate muttered yet more incomprehensible words. His hand was resting on his sword, down by his side. It was a fine looking weapon, and the gaurd seemed well training though he would clearly be no match for a Noah.
The three of them did look quite odd, mind you. Dies, with his pure white hair and a long coat covering a missing arm, Kujaku, a small, blonde child, and Killinger, whose attire quite frankly stank of a lawsuit.
Dies pulled his hair in fustration before sending out a telepathic message
"Where are you guys! And who can speak chinese! I'm stuck at the border with two akuma..."
He looked over to Killinger. Hopefully the akuma would have some kind of nifty, convenient power that would let them get through. Like an english-chinese dictionary.

"Seriously....we have an idiot for a commander?" Martosu grumbled as he followed the young exorcist. Dimitri was bouncing up and down cheerfully towards another exorcist whom Jade did not recognize. However, the warm tone of his voice as he greeted the man suggested that the two were friends.
"Keep your thoughts to yourself unless you have something nice to say," Jade shot Martosu a steely glance. What's wrong with him?
"I was just being kind in informing him of what he lacks," he said scornfully.
"Why don't you stop poking your nose into other people's weaknesses and focus more on your own?"
"My weaknesses only affect me, while his will affect all of the exorcists under him. So partly his weaknesses are mine as well."
Jade rolled her eyes at his last remark. "Excuses..," she muttered under her breath. Nevertheless, standing only a few feet away from each other, Martosu heard her clearly. He shot a glare her way but she quickly dismissed it by saying, "Or....were you just jealous because a 16-year-old got promoted and you weren't?"
If there was any hint of mischief in her voice, Martosu didn't catch it.
"I don't need a rank to validate myself," he said through clenched teeth.
"Someone's ego has grown rather large lately, hmm? Overcompensating for something else being small?"
"You've got alot of room to talk about ego, considering the size yours has inflated to."
"Ha? Let's stay focused here, shall we?" Jade tried to wave him off. Then, with a more serious tone, she added, "After all, he helped us, didn't he? And he's considered our superior now."
"With that kind of attitude, how did you ever survive?! You keep hiding behind your superior's asses because that's the best solution to any crisis!" Martosu raised his voice, cutting across the chatter and shouts around them unexpectedly, drawing in some unwanted and unintended attention. Passers-by turned to look at them. Hiro and Keisuke both stopped in their tracks, obviously stunned. Even Dimitri and his friend had turned around in curiosity.
Jade felt herself going red, her blood boiling beneath her skin. Agitated, she yelled back at him. "What's wrong with you? If you can't stick with your teammates, you can always leave. Anytime!"
"Fine with me." With that, Martosu turned and walked off, leaving his comrades behind.
And he really walked off....damn.
"Erm...Jade? Mind explaining what happened?" Dimitri asked. He looked concerned. So did the rest.
"Argh!" she smacked her forehead with her right hand. "Nothing serious. Just a little squabble. He'll come back."
When the others appeared unconvinced, she quickly added, "Fine, i'll go get him."
Turning around, she ran in the direction that Martosu had headed. His actions reminded her of another exorcist who too seem to possess the same level of ego. He was boastful, arrogant, despise being bossed around and seem to bear an intolerance towards weaklings.
Seriously, what's up with them?
Then, as though answering herself, she uttered a single word that said it all.
"Men."

Rave stifled a laugh at the fight. "Married couple brawl?" He said quietly, grinning to himself. He remembered meeting the girl when they were at the Asia HQ. She was quite beautiful, with long black hair and beautiful eyes and face, long legs and a very well endowed chest. The guy was unfamiliar; short and wiry, but then against so was Allen. And Kanda was never the epitome of thickness either.
He moved from his position on the roof and followed them quickly, interested in the brawl. He wondered whether the woman - he didn't know her name - would resort to punching the guy for insulting her. From his experience, girls in the Order tended to be violent. Lenalee, for example... she could kick anyone as far away as possible if they annoyed her. He sighed in longing. Lenalee was a person he loved most in his life. Someone he could care about that wasn't himself.
And that's why you lost your synchronization with me, genius.
"Oh, shut the hell up..." Rave muttered in response to Zenryu's intrusions. He looked over from a slightly lower roof just in time to see the woman slam her fist into the guy's head, hard. He whimpered and fell to the floor, clutching his head, which sprouted a rather comedic large lump. Rave snickered. Yup, women with the Order.
A sound behind him made him lift his head and turn just in time to see something blink across his field of vision. A heavy metal hand smashed into his chest - he lifted Zenryu just in time to block the three deadly spikes that protruded from the back of the hand - and he was tossed into the street below, hard. He landed on his feet and slid a few steps back, his tattered cloak rippling around him. Both the woman and man looked at him, surprised.
"Crap, busted..." he said before lifting his eyes. On the same roof he was just standing, a monster appeared. It looked like a bipedal rhino, with a more slender waist and chest. The hands were long, four fingers on each and three spikes from the back of the hand. The legs were lizard-like, ending with six sharp nails. It also sprouted a tail, long and covered in sharpened yellow carapace. The monster's fac were shaped like a grotesque cross between human and lizard, with a nearly human head stretched to fit a pair of lizard-like jaws filled with sharp, greenish teeth. The eyes of the creature were covered with a dirty white cloth and seemed to constantly bleed a green substance.
Rave straightened himself and looked at the monster, who suddenly sprouted a strange yellowish armor from its shoulders and knees, then a chimney from the back and began to rattle and puff like a machine. Rave lifted an eyebrow, and the monsters exploded into lightning which blasted around quickly, then moved around and aside towards him. He began the draw his sword, the lightning bolt drew closer, and just as the blade slashed where the lightning blot had been, it vanished. Rave's eyebrows lifted and he turned to regard the rattling blind monster, which stood behind him and rattled.
"Whew, that's not bad! You're really fast, aren't ya?"
The monster rattled in response, then pointed towards Rave; "I am a Blitz! A warrior of unparalleled speed and supreme power!"
"Unparalleled speed, huh? I bet the ladies don't dig that in bed," Rave replied, moving one feet behind him and grinning his trademark "I am so much better than you" grin.
"What? How dare you! Insult me one more time and I will hurt you more than you could possibly imagine!" The monster - "Blitz" - exploded into another bolt of lightning, rushing towards Rave, who stood motionless and grinning. The Blitz materialized right before him and impaled Rave on his shoulder, then lifted the corpse up and roared in triumph.
"Man, I was hoping for something a little more than this, loser. I'm not even motivated!" Rave stood behind the monster, holding his sword in his left hand. Rave hung from the Blitz's horn, dead. The girl, the guy, and the monster all stared at the living Rave, who seemed to embody arrogance. "What's wrong? Ya scared? 'Cause I'm standin' right here!" Another Rave walked out from the escaping crown, holding his sword on the shoulders. "Or right here."
Now there were three "Rave". Another one walked from behind the Exorcist couple and stood with his arms crossed on his chest, calmly saying "and here!". More and more "Raves" appeared from every direction, until the monster was surrounded by around twenty, not counting the one on its horn.
"What the hell are you!?" The monster shook the Rave impaled on its horn and tossed it away. It hit a wall, sprouted blood on it and fell to the ground behind the group of Rave standing before the monster.
"You said you're a warrior of unparalleled speed and supreme power. Well, warrior, prepare to meet the god of speed and the unbeatable warrior!" All the Rave stepped back and into a battle position, hands on their swords.
Rave's eyes changed slightly, a visible mysterious character appearing in their irises.
"I'm... not going to be much good at this level, you know? My speed isn't enough!"
Agreed. Your speed is high for a human, but to surpass the peak of your powers without relying on your Innocence - me - would require a far greater boost of speed.
"And you're suggesting what? There's no way I can surpass human speed in years, and I don't have them!"
You don't have to. There is a technique that will send you speeding far more than you can possibly imagine. A speed so great, you could be in more than one place at once.
"You mean... leaving afterimages?"
Faster. Think of being in ten places at once.
"That's humanly impossible!"
True. Your inner systems won't withstand such a pressure for long. You will damage yourself every time you use it, and you may die using it due to your blood erupting in your system. Are you up for the risk?
"It's either that, or spend my time relying on you... and I have to have my own powers!"
Then I shall impart the way to use it into your brain. Here...
Rave felt the images flowing into his mind; with each passing second he understood how to channel his inner systems into optimal use, and what's more - how to surpass his human limits. Within seconds, he knew how to do it. Now the problem resided elsewhere. Knowing how to use a technique and using it were two different things, especially this kind. He focused and pumped in the energy into his legs, then hands, then upper body, then head... each separately could move faster, think faster, react faster. He focused on a small hole in the ground where he knew there was a hollowed out cave beneath the hard ground, and suddenly he was there. Turning, he still himself. So he lifted his hand and waved at himself... that was in the cave. He saw the wave and felt it at the same time.
Grinning, he turned and fell unconscious.
The Blitz roared, and charged at the crowd of Rave, but he hit nothing. They dissipated before its charge. A sword met it's horn and slashed it off, and Rave rotated on his finger tips, bringing Zenryu before him and pointing at the monster while slightly bowing forward on the balls of his feet.
"Care to dance?" Rave's smug voice and expression clearly enraged the beast further, and it rattled and pumped smoke, and charged again, transforming into a lightning blot again. Rave doubled into three copies again, one of which stabbed the Blitz in the foot, the other in the mouth and the third in the chimney on the back. The beast roared multiple times, then tossed its head powerfully, trying to hit the pesky human that was slicing it apart. Rave twirled his sword again and charged, slashing twice across the chest of the monster, leaving a silvery glow ont he spot and more green stuff shooting out.
But he decided the time for games was over, and he couldn't hold Sekireigan on for much longer anyway - he was feeling the bile rise in his throat already, soon he will be coughing blood - so he attacked. He ran forward, and in the last second dodged the Blitz's horn. His sword sunk into the carapace and cut through. Rave bent low and dodged under the strike of the hand, then turned and kicked the road hard to stop his momentum. He brought his sword up and from his stance pushed forward to stab into the monster's exposed back.
The Blitz exploded into lightning again, and blasted around on two buildings, leaving scorch marks before descending to materialize again right before Rave. The time though, Rave was more than ready. As soon as the monster materialized Zenryu climbed up and dove down, biting deep into the creature's carapace. The blades went through, and the Blitz turned glowing red in color, apparently signaling it had low energy left. Desperate, it charged and tried to cut impale Rave, who dissipated as though he was never there and appeared behind the monster Zenryu leaving three gashes on its back. The Blitz roared, straightened, and exploded violently. Rave's hair and cloak rippled and he sheathed his sword.
His hair having falling into his eyes, Rave pushed it back up, combing it with a hand, then turned to Martosu and Jade.
"Yo."
((No Z-man, this isn't a sting at you. The "Blitz" is based on this: Assault (http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c39/SankonGanSou/Thunder_Assault_by_Nurkhular.jpg) and I only named it "Blitz" because it fit with the speed thing.))

Nash, Mikhail:
Nash and Mikhail were already slowly walking towards the international borders of Hong Kong set forth by the British military. Heading south from the Guandong district, Nash and Mikhail came in contact with a border control gateway with several guards checking the validity of visitors' papers. They were about to walk towards the guard's checkpoint station when they suddenly heard the familiar shouts of a certain someone... A Noah like themselves as the telepathic communication proved.
"Hey, buddy is that...?"
Mikhail replied slowly, with a tone of shame in his voice.
"Yes... Dies."
Obliged to take care of their sibling, Nash and Mikhail skip their turns and rush over to Dies and his companions who were already on the verge of causing a ruckus in the area with Dies's temper and loud voice. Calmly, Mikhail dragged Dies out of the crowd, while Nash pulled the other two akuma with him. The five of them took off to a remote place away from the eyes of scrutinizers and the border patrol.
"Finally! Some help. Now, how do we get around those border patrol guys, huh? Can anyone of you guys speak Chinese?"
A pause followed Dies's question. Nash, although never the bright one looked at contemplating Dies, whose only hand was stroking his chin.
"Uhh... Sorry buddy, but are you dumb or something?"
The Noah was about to get defensive and launch a lengthy string of curses and belittling remarks at Nash when he was interrupted by Mikhail speaking.
"Can't you just zip a dimensional door and transport us across the border? It's not like you can't see the buildings and facilities beyond the gate."
Again, another moment of silence. Dies looked around at Kujaku and Killinger, both seemingly aware of that plan, but never spoke of it before to Dies. He launched a quick punch to akuma's heads for embarrassing him in front of two of his siblings.
With that done and over with, Dies took a good look of the surroundings past the border and opened a pocket plane in the empty air through which Kujaku first stepped in. When his crossing was confirmed, Killinger, Nash, and Mikhail passed through, which Dies being the last of the group to close the dimensional portal behind him.
Looking for the exorcists in the market place was not as hard as it seemed to newly deployed Noahs, Nash and Mikhail, as they walked through the crowded narrow streets of Hong Kong. Their exorcist uniforms were easily recognizable by the minority of the public who spoke English, leading Dies and his circus troupe towards the required spot. A young man, not over 18 years of age was hopping around on his toes towards the silver-haired exorcist, easily recognizable by Nash as "the" Hei Ashur.
"Hey... I thought I was goofy." Remarked Nash as he saw the peppy exorcist.
"Regardless... I'll go empty the area in preparation for the battle." Replied Mikhail as he tidied his outfit and departed from the group. Despite their dark orientation, none of the Noah felt obliged to shed unnecessary blood. Specially of those who are mere bystanders in the awful massacre that the streets of Hong Kong were about to witness.
Summoning his massive cleaver to his hand, and quickly turning it into the sniper rifle he so proficiently handles, Nash prepared himself for the first shot on the battle ground. All that was required was Mikhail's signal to start.

Nash and Dies were waiting for that all important sign from Mikhail. The sign that would start a massacre of many, and if he didn't get it right, the massacre of the innocent. Mikhail had to think of a way to put his companions in the best position for battle, but at the same time, weaken his enemies.
He slowly walked away from his crew, the bursting heat of a Hong Kong noon Sun beating down on his shoulders. His black shirt absorbed most of the radiation, but made well for emitting at the same time. He approached a market stall with a small man as its owner, selling quite clearly fake jewellery. The pearls didn't have that shine, the silver seemed more grey, and the gold looked as if it was hardened sand. The shopkeeper eyed Mikhail in an uneasy way, then began speaking;
"Cheep watch! Cheep watch!"
Mikhail laughed inside at his typical Chinese approach to an English way of speaking, but he guessed that it was the norm here, for all those that could speak some English at least. Mikhail picked a pearl necklace as it dropped from the roof, balancing on an old piece of string. He then hurled it at the floor, the fake pieces of pearl were revealed as nothing less than misted glass, smashing into millions of shards. The reaction was just as he had planned, and most of the villagers had run away in fear and terror, including what once was a stubborn shopkeeper.
As they all moved from his position, Mikhail saw it fit to begin the battle. Lifting his right arm perpendicularly to his body, he opened his hand, summoning one of his blades. The screeching sound of dimensional warp engaged, and the handle of Schneider peered through the black hole it had created. Mikhail gripped it firmly and tugged it towards him, revealing a Zanbatou unlike anyone had seen before. The locals were now truly running for their lives, and Mikhail began his assault.
He jumped high in the air, Schneider held at the ready above his head. He turned it in mid-air, the blade now facing downwards, only for its special attack's needs to be met. As he dropped down he brought the Zanbatou down with catastrophic force, shouting only inches before he hit the ground.
"Rheinpanzer!"
The ground began to shake. A clear deep crack began to draw its way around the Exorcists and split them from their team mates, making them oh so much easier to pick off in battle. Mikhail drew Schneider out of the ground, slinging it over his shoulder and smiling.
The board had been set. The pieces were about to move.
"Let's go."
Dies grinned as Mikhail created the signal, and leapt down from his rooftop perch, Kujaku following him. The Noah had already picked out the targets he wanted, agreeing with his comrades over who got who.
As Mikhail's attack split the ground, Dies leapt towards two exorcists - a girl and the thunder-using exorcist called Dimitri. Kujaku meanwhile, spreading his wings, flung himself at Kenshin as he drew his shadow-infused claymore from midair.
Dies fired Zeeker into the air, instructing it to fling itself down upon the girl (Kimiko). The missile leapt from his gun and locked onto it's target, drilling through the air. Dies span around, firing several shots at Dimitri. The shots were intended to miss, and they did so, the massive shells cleaving through a nearby building, and seperating the battle arena even further.

After having asked Dies for a dimensional door to surprise his opponent, Nash walked into the portal at Mikhail's launch of the assault. He appeared right behind the acting commander of the group, the silver haired exorcist who escaped the wrath of Nicholas back in Venice. Leaning on his left knee and aiming his rifle towards the lower side of Hei's back, Nash shot out the first of his ethereal bullets, meaning to draw the attention of the commander with a small scratch.
Well... "small" was relatively big for Nash, whose standards were high for this battle. He yelled out the exorcist's name a second before pulling the trigger on his rifle, which was aimed straight to his abdomen.

A swift blow was delivered to him from an electrically charged and almost super speeding Exorcist, catching Mikhail off guard and sending him flying backwards. He felt the electricity surging through him, reaching every nerve and blood vessel.
But this was war. He had to retaliate, and he had to do it well. He regained his balance as quick as he could, even though the attack had left quite a scar. Schneider was still gripped firmly in his hand, and that was his tool for revenge. Using it as somewhat of a balance, he stepped forward in striking range, and then slashed at the Exorcist.

Kimiko
"We're under attack!" Someone said, and chaos soon reigned over the battlefield.
Kimiko was next to Dmitri when she saw an akuma jump from a roof and fly towards Kenshin. But as she intended to warn him, the noah named Dies leapt from the same rooftop, and advance towards her and Dmitri.
The noah fired at her, and a bulllet flied at her at inmense speed, but Kimiko was able to dodge it before it reached her, and the bullet instead hit the ground.
As Kimiko started moving towards Kenshin, she heard a noise behind her. Turning around, she saw the bullet divide into two, and fly at her once again.
Kimiko dodged one, but the second bullet caught her in the arm. Kimiko fall to the ground and turned towards the noah, who shot at Dmitri, missing. Or so it seemed.
The building started to fall, and Kimiko hurried to the other side before it fall, separating the battle arena. Kimiko lifted Brisign and said: "Aura!" Kimiko summoned a number flames, which surroundered her and healed part of her wound.
Kenshin
"We're under attack!" Someone said, and Kenshin fought the urge of shouting back.
But soon enough he had no time of shouting, even if he wanted to. Sensing that someone was above him, Kenshin looked up only to find a level 3 swinging a claymore at him.
Kenshin drew Tenchu, and managed to catch the claymore with his sword in time. But the akuma's strength was starting to overpower him. If I don't do anything I'll be in trouble...
Kenshin activated his Innocence, and as he swung Tenchu, he shot an energy blast, parrying the claymore and sending the akuma into the air. While doing this, though, Kenshin was sent backwards ((due to Kujaku's attack)) nad crashed with a wall.
Kenshin quickly recovered, and activated Glaedr's Heavenly Armor and Slifer's Wings of Destiny. Then he flew towards the akuma, who has also recovered.
Kenshin once again swung Tenchu, and show another blast at the akuma. "Farnir's Dragon Breath!"
Anita
The surprised attack surely took them by surprise, and Anita was no exception. The noah and akuma's attack has divided them, and now no one knew where everone was.
Anita caught a glimpse of Kenshin, and she hurried towards there. Anita saw Kenshin parrying a level 3's attack away, before being thrown into a building. He quickly got up, and followed the akuma into the sky.
Seeing that it would be better to leave Kenshin take care of it, Anita went back the way she came from, where she saw Dmitri and a noah fighting. Activating her innocence, Anita formed silver spheres in her hands, and threw them at the noah.

Dies
Dies felt Zeeker hit it's target, but the girl had dissapeared. The Noah had half a mind to pursue, but didn't want to leave the battle on some wild goose chase. Still, it wouldn't be a good idea to leave an opponent to power up or heal. Mikhail was struggling against an exorcist, though Dies felt confident in his abilities.
Dies floated over the collapsed building by forming pocket planes under his feet, lifting him into the air. The exorcist was easy enough to spot - surrounded by a glowing aura.
"Found ya!"
Swinging his hand, he launched a negation eraser, causing an explosion right next to Kimiko.

Kujaku leapt away from the energy blast, holding his claymore in front of him. The blast weaved over his armour, and Kujaku tried to catch it with the edge of his blade, sidestepping and turning away the blast. It seemed that the new Noah was being targeted by all. Another Exorcist had readied themselves to attack, and sent spheres of an extremely dense silver metal in Mikhail's direction. But this was where Schneider's size came in handy. Not only was it an attacking brute, but could also play defensively, as Mikhail now had planned.
He batted away the spheres, with some force, but he had made it possible through his own speed and strength. But after all had reached a certain distance, the unexpected happened. They exploded, causing Mikhail to slip back from the explosions.
Mikhail HP: 34-6 = 28
But now the Exorcist had given him a chance to counter attack. Before the smoke cleared, Mikhail had already dropped Schneider, sending it back into its own dimension, but calling forth another sword. Jaeger. With this he was able to become much more nimble on his feet, and thus much quicker with his attack.

Surfing the midday air on his katana-for-a-board object he held, Jin heard the calls of the Noah in the area. He descended slowly, following his basic instincts into the middle of a crowded street. Hordes of people ran towards him, fleeing from the sound and impact of ethereal blasts in the vicinity. The akuma could tell, innocence and dark matter were involved. He was going to finally fulfill the mission, the Earl has sent him to do. Dashing on to the battlefield, Jin draws his katana and readies his posture next to a man, whose ash gray skin and cross embedded forehead indicated his leniage as a Noah.

((Evasion impossible, but counter-attack is no :p))
The akuma leapt towards Kenshin at a surprising speed, attacking with all its might. I won't be able to dodge! Kenshin thought.
Then he got an idea. Kenshin lifted Tenchu, holding it in a reversed grip. Then he stabbed the ground with it just as the akuma was on him.
"Seiryu's 1000 Dragon Force, Eye of the Storm!"
A thousand dragon flew out of the portal in the ground, some of them exploding against the akuma at contact, while the rest formed a cloud of spiritual energy above them. While the ar mor absorbed part of the attack's power, Kenshin still got seriously hit, but he was able to command the dragons.
The dragons then started descending from the cloud, like lightning from a storm...

Kujaku leapt backwards as he saw the exorcist's attack, trying to cut the dragons with his sword. This had no effect, and even his shadow could not slice the creatures. Kujaku shrugged, landing on the ground as the dragon's chased him, standing still.
"When faced with an attack you cannot overpower or evade, it is best to conserve stamina, and not try. That is a rule of combat."
The dragons smashed into Kujaku, exploding against his black-plated armour. The akuma waved away the smoke and stepped forwards. His armoued boots made huge dents in the concrete as he walked towards Kenshin.
"Why then, do you still try to resist?"
He leapt into close range, the sun directly behind him. His shadow was a meter long extension of his body, and it swung into Kenshin as Kujaku went into a twirl, smashing his blade down hard.

Rave's Theme Song - Mezame (http://www.supload.com/listen?s=7FWPE93K6B46#)
Rave was just done saying "yo" when an explosion and several shouts from behind - where the other Exorcists were - alerted all three of them that something was wrong. Turning, he noticed the Exorcists in trouble. The options were to fight, or... not to fight. He could just sit back and enjoy the show. Surely, nearly dozen Exorcists would be able to defeat a few Noah and several Akuma...
I think you're severely overestimating them.
Rave closed his eyes. Yeah, he was, probably. They were weak, and inferior to him. He wasn't going to help - he was simply proving how superior he was. Satisfied that his reasoning fell with his Innocence's - he felt her approval, that damned woman, like every other, controlled his life - and ran towards the fighting field.
((Note: Jade and Martosu should *probably* be following Rave, but I don't want to RP any other characters at the moment so they haven't moved yet))
Running close to the fight he stopped to observe the situation. Hei was occupied with some Noah guy, Rave wasn't interested, if Hei couldn't take care of himself, then he was worthless. Dmitri was nowhere in sight, apparently separated from the group, or behind one of the rundown buildings.
He spotted another Exorcist with a sword being attacked by an Akuma that looked like someone decided to combine a duck and a mechanical human, with a sword. The Akuma was quite fast, but Rave could tell he was nowhere near his speed. Or Zenryu's, for that matter.
As he was covered by the shadows, he stayed unnoticed until now, so the attack would come as a complete surprise, lessening the chance he will be spotted and dodged - even at higher speeds, a smart fighter could begin to react before time, compensating for their lack of speed. Although this Akuma was probably stupid, taking chance was a stupid idea.
Unsheathing Zenryu slowly, he turned it point down and closed his eyes in concentration. The blade glowed slightly, affirming his desires. Time to rock. He slowly let it go, letting it fall down to the ground, where it sunk into it as though falling into a sea of water. The blade vanished, and instead a thousand separate swords rose around Kenshin and Kujaku. The blades stayed there for an instant, majestically looking down at their victim, before shattering into a countless number of small mini-blades.
Such was the beauty of his attack, the true magnificence of Zenryu's powers. The other Exorcists boasted abilities which were unrivaled - healing, unbelievable attack power, some summoned creatures of other planes, some could use fire or ice to their heart's content.
But none of them could boast this. The inescapable attack that could rend flesh and tear muscle, beauteous and menacing at the same time. Somewhat like a woman, it was magnificent to behold and painful to be near.
The shards of Innocence - for in truth, these were less petals and more shards, despite their perfect shape - moved at Kujaku, who attacked Kenshin via an unknown technique. The thick wave of petals hit Kujaku frontally, and pushed him back, smashing him backwards.

Raphael:
Shrugging at the Noah's proposal, Raphael showed signs of blatant apathy. He walked out of the room they were in after Jean proposed to go look for Hei and his party. Information got in earlier this morning regarding the arrival of Commander Dmitri Richardson and his platoon, but there was more and Raphael knew it.
Noahs come in pairs.
His theory was. So far it hasn't been proven wrong, except on rare occassions. If this Gabriel Noah is here, then there's bound to be at least one more Noah, if not 3 or 5 more depending on the number of pairs sent for this mission. Realizing how much of a crushing defeat it must have been for the Earl in the recent occurings at China, Russia and Germany, Raphael prepared himself for the worst.
The party, now consisting of 5 members headed towards the geographic boundaries of Hong Kong. Upon seeing their Black Order insignias, the guards cleared the way for them without even doubting Gabriel's identity as freeloader.
"If he's travelling with those exorcists then he's got to be of use to them." Is what Jacques heard from a patrolling guard in the area.
It wasn't long before all 5 members felt the uneasiness in the atmosphere. It came from the western side from where they stood. The sound of buildings falling, wood cracking and metal breaking echoed across the entire western district of Hong Kong and seemed to originate from the market area. An old man, trying hard to walk away from the area noted the presence of the 4 exorcists and said that their "comrades" were fighting in the market place.
Impatient as ever, Angelique morphed into a black panther and ran ahead of the other exorcists to fend off the assault from the Noah. He roar resounded in the market's hallway indicating the arrival of backup. Meanwhile, Jacques positioned himself a few steps away from the scene with enough distance and time to cast a spell on his nearest target, the aristocratic akuma, Killinger. Jean rushed off to the front lines and prepared for battle. His halberd at the ready, the exorcist was going to take it all in.
Being the last to the scene, Raphael assumed a back-line position as his bow took an eerie black shade with an elastic and translucent string that shone brightly even amidst the sunniest time of the day. He aimed at the new akuma whose name he did not know, but seemed to be trouble nonetheless.
"Sorry... Fallen Penance..."

Nicholas:
"Stalking" was not what Nicholas wanted to do here, but he previously had no interest in joining the battle after thinking that his allies were strong enough to take on a small beating. His opinion however changed upon the arrival of backup to the scene. An exorcist with white streaks in his hair and an ethereal cloud surrounding him jumped into the scene. His face registered in Nicholas's memory, reminding him of someone quite familiar. He could not care less at the moment though. Shrugging off whatever thoughts he had related to the guy, Nicholas walked up towards him intercepting his every move to try and avoid him from drawing close to the battlefield.
"Come..."
He said in a calm tone, while reaching for the first of his bombs. It was finally time for the rest of his brethren to witness the pinnacle of his powers.
((Nicholas is going to be RPed in battle by prof, I was only asked to move him to place. Rave is his target. Nicholas enters in first manifestation mode.))

Rave crossed his arms on his chest as the Noah came into view. Calm and relaxed, the Noah blocked his way.
"Come..."
Rave rolled his eyes. "Look, pal. I'm not in the mood to fight you. I'm only helpin' some friends, so how 'bout steppin' back?" The Noah didn't respond at all, merely looked at him. "Uh, the silent type, huh... well, so much for friendly banter." A flick of his wrist sent the Innocence around them, and then it swirled once, to slam on top of the Noah, hitting him solidly in from all directions. Rave focused a bit deeper this time, leveling up the attack of his weapon.

((Seeing as Nicholas is supposedly wearing armor, it *should* crack if enough damage is applied over time, but... let's not get into that argument, so I'll just keep hittin' ya until you decide to go second manif on me or something))
The petals retreated, and there was the Noah - unharmed. "Armor of some kind?" Rave lifted an eyebrow. Armor could be cracked if enough force was applied over time, and the solid strikes with the Innocence should at least rack the Noah's internals enough to damage him, but that didn't matter. Waving his hand again, the Innocence returned for another attack.

As a sniper round tore through Hei's side he was knocked back a couple of dozen meters. Immediately he bathes the nearby area in flames, to hide his presence. Being immune to the heat himself, and not too close to anyone else at the time he was to all practical purposes lost in a blaze.
He can't shoot what he can't see.
As the damage was reforming, Hei forms his bow, and knocks two arrows. Also creating an Enrei thread, he concentrates on making it thinner, thinner, and thinner. Affixing the strand to the two arrows, he looks to the heat signature of his opponent through the flames. The benefit of controlling the heat was he could see past it.
You intend to garrote him with that wire, while he thinks you blindly fired two arrows. You are a disturbed individual are you not?
I'd beat you if it wouldn't be hurting myself. Appearing right behind me, these Noah have gotten a bit egotistical. They need to be knocked down a few pegs.
Then let us see if you are able. He has achieved the first blow after all.
Thats how Noah's work, for there blustered self confidence they are awful picky on making sure they get the first strike.
A tactic useful, when unsure of your own victory. He does seem to know you however, perhaps you are on one of those cards?
Which gives me reason to think he might be have hooked himself into that rut they get in, things going his way, and he can't see the wire either. I don't care if he knows me or not, he shot me in the back, you expect me to converse with him?
Able to draw the bow now, Hei looses the two arrows on either side of the opponent. As they appear to be randomly fired arrows with the false guess that the opponent would have repositioned himself to either side, it was unlikely the trick would be guessed. He'd never even used it before.
With the garrote wire approaching the Noah, too small to see in rapid flight, the battle continues.
[Damage to Hei 25-6 = 58]
[Damage to Nash = 33]

Angie runs without giving any one time to stop her. She almost could hear Raphael’s scold after the battle. She felt different energies around: Akuma’, Noah’s and Exorcists. She arrived to the scene to see a large group of exorcist fighting agasint akumas and apparently some Noah’s. The stench of many odors mixed with blood, akuma;s blood and death took a toll on Angie. Trying to fight her lust for blood she tried to help someone but she felt paralyzed. Part of her mind was blank without will her obscure side began to cover her until she only smell and hear akumas. Soon she was devouring akumas like a child on starvation. The hunger was too much to bear. Starting with the weak ones she forgot the exorcist giving her attention and focus on akumas. Still she managed to keep herself out of the way of other comrades and even to do not attack them. Spotting two akumas level 2 escaping caught her attention. She didn’t cared about the battle anymore her hunger was too great and she needed something to ease it. Growling in anticipation for her good meal she went to catch them.
Since everyone was busy around no one saw when Angie started leaving the place. Soon s
