Ulqui takes Ichigo down for the count and we get an immediate reaction from Orihime than she gets this horrible beating from aizen's little trashy jailbait duo only to be saved by Grimmjow!? Made me think of an excuse for Ichi/GJ round three: Ichigo gets up (eventually) finds Grimm with a bloodied up Hime and goes ballistic even though right now he technically owes him.
WHAT ON EARTH? I actually did have a feeling that if Orihime were to react to Ichigo's 'fading' reiatsu that she would try to break out and if suceeding, obviously she would run into other Espada as they never seem to end... XD But Grimmjow to rescue... sounds a bit odd, I wonder what his reason would be...? Perhaps he's finally decided to act against Aizen or else he has plotted something else... =___=;; Hopefully the spoiler above isn't too misleading... XD

XD They seem to prefer liking the couple that are being highlighted by Pierrot Studios as is the case for the new opening of Bleach which is misleading and spoilerific. I love the new opening, however it leads fans to believe that both sides of the IchiHime relationship hold the same feelings or something of the sort... well, that's how I viewed it... XD

If you have been reading any of my posts at the IchiHime BF then you'll know I had wished that Grimmjow will be the the one to help Orihime out. That was two weeks ago. So seeing this chapter just made me all shades of happy 'cause my wishful thinking came true! I also had predicted a while back that Ishida was the one I want to see face Zael so yeah 'cause it will be like SS all over gain with Mayuri. I'm 2 for 2 in this chapter woo!

It's not odd, it doesn't make sense at all!!!! Grimmjow saving "Orihime"?? It's obvious that Grimmjow wants to get away from Aizen's clutches to get his hands on Ichigo as freely as he wants! But first he must have wanted to ruin Aizen's plans by saving Orihime. That's what I think since I haven't seen the chapter...

He's got mutiny written all over him. I hope he brings Orihime to Ichigo. I know he's itching to show Ulquiorra how he's utterly failed in keeping Orihime in good condition for Aizen.

And the Orihime bashing is so hysterical, but it's being made by the usual suspects. One poster disguised as an IchiHime fan in the Naruto forums is going on and on about how disappointed she was in Orihime. The funny thing is, that person's post looks awfully similar to some posts made by IchiRukiers at BF chapter thread. Things that make you go hmmmnnn...

Indeed. Perhaps Kubo loves to make fans speculate on what happens next, which leads to an even bigger suprise. Though I already know that Orihime will play a bigger role and get stronger one day. Shoot, I think she'll comes with some new phrase like "I accept!" Meaning if you "reject" an injury, it's saying you won't allow it to linger any further, thus recovering it. If you "accept" an injury, it's saying you WILL allow it to linger any further, thus damaging it.

Yes, Friday American time sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon. Chapter 270 was the longest I remember waiting for the raw and trans. The raw itself came out around 3:15 PM Eastern standard time, the trans came about 4:45 PM. Yes I you know I was counting the minutes on that particular chapter. XD I can't wait for this chapter as well. There are some days where the raw does come out early so I'm hoping that happens today. We've gotten a lot of spoiler pics already so it should be soon. *crosses fingers*

I don't believe Grimmjow has a weak spot for Hime ... He doesn't seem the person that would bother about love and all those feelings ... My guess is that he is turning against Aizen (he didn't seem too loyal to him in the first place ...)

Well Grimm isn't about love or anything. He's more like a good looking version of Kenpachi, just wants to fight the strongest and that's Ichigo. With Orihime, I think he was taken by surprise when she restored his arm and his number. I don't think he's ever had anyone do something nice for him in a long while. He may have gotten a certain amount of respect for her then. I'm curious how he knew she was in trouble. Was he just nearby or on his way to Ichigo and Ulquiorra's fight when he heard the commotion? Will he be like Kenpachi and trust that Orihime will lead him to Ichigo. So curious about his motivation.

Anyway, the way Orihime was drawn so beautifully even as she's covered in bruises was probably Kubo's way of getting Grimm to feel a little something. There's no way he didn't look at her and not be affected. Plus he does owe her so if he has some kind of honor system, this is his payback. I honestly don't mind him playing the spoiler to get Ichigo to wake up. Can you imagine when Ichigo sees Orihime next in her bruised condition he's going to go ballistic and think it was Grimm's fault. 'Course Orihime will probably raise a shield to protect Grimm from Ichigo's assault and simply say to Ichigo, "he protected me." That's going to get Ichigo 'cause he's done a bad job of doing that after promising to protect her. She's been through an emotional hell since. Angst!!!

Somehow I just don't see Grimm developing a softer side any time soon. Last we saw of Grimm Aizen had just humiliated him in front of the rest of the Espada by bringing him to his knees using only his reiatsu. I suspect he's still smarting over this and who knows, maybe he has some plan using Orihime in mind to get even with Aizen. Or maybe he's just fed up with Aizen and wants to gtfo of HM and thinks Orihime would be useful to him.

And now that Ulqy appears to be done with Ichigo he's going to return to find Orihime gone.

Interesting that with the latest turn of events in the last few chapters, Orihime and Ichigo have become the 2 main characters most closely linked to the three primary antagonists--Aizen, Ulqy, and Grimm. Actually, Orihime might even top Ichigo in this regard as he doesn't seem to have a particularly strong link to Aizen at this point in time, although that's certain to change in the future.

XDDD So it's Orihime/Ichigo, Orihime/Aizen, Orihime/Ulquiorra, and Orihime/Grimmjow. Love is in the air, everywhere you look around! Who did we miss. I must make a sig! Ichigo is going to have to fight them all off so he's the last man standing. OMG more angst!!!

Heh, like I said, I can't wait to find out what Grimmjow's motivations are. No love lost between him and Aizen, him and Ulquiorra, him and Tousen, etc. It really is Grimm against the world. I mentioned either here or elsewhere that he's now wearing the anti-hero mantle. He could have the same goal as Ichigo in bringing Aizen down, however his methods of going about it will of-course be the opposite of how Ichigo will do it. So if Orihime will be of use to him in that sense, he's going to go that route.

Chad actually gets the least love from Kubo as well. That's two arcs where he goes down first among the rescuers. Where's the love man. Here Chad was with his new upgrade all happy he easily defeated a privaron and before he even starts his victory dance he gets pwned by Noitora.

Anyway, it will be a while before we find out what happens to Orihime and Grimmjow. I'm betting on Kubo giving us Renji and Ishida tagteam first, then Ichigo and his Dark Side of the Universe bit, and then back to Orihime and Grimmjow. Kubo does love to leave us fans hanging. Anyway, if Renji and Ishida make quick work of Zael's subordinates, I hope that means they get to go and find Rukia next.

I'll admit I've always had a soft spot for GrimmOri. I'm really getting tired of characters having secret crushes and waiting passively for the object of their affections to come round. If Grimm had a thing for Orihime you can be sure he would just step in and take her whether she wanted him or not. And if he knew Ichigo felt anything for her he'd rub his nose into it real good.

blech! Sorry, but I don't think that's in Grimmjow's character. Perhaps he'll might like Orihime, but only in a "She helped me see who I am" sorta way. Like I said, he might have wanted to betray Aizen because he's tired of being "under his feet", ya know? You saw how pissed he was when Aizen suppressed him with spirit pressure like a dog on a leash. If it should happen that there will a certain "triangle" between Ichigo, Grimmjow and Orihime, I don't think the boys will take it seriously. Grimmjow and ichigo are alike in a certain way and they won't even have the time to fight just for Orihime's love. They're not THAT stupid. But that's also odd. If Ichigo and Renji are particularly rivals, does that mean there's a three-way rivalry between Ichigo, Renji and Grimmjow? Kenpachi doesn't count, cuz he seems to be more like "hunting" Ichigo than being his rival.

Ulquiorra arrogant? Highly doubt it.^^ In a way he's like Byakuya, he's NEVER shown a different expression on his face. Though he smiled in an confident kind of way. Byakuya different expression is when he's shocked by anything. Like 1., overwhelmed by Ichigo's speed. 2, overwhelmed by Renji's stubborness. And 3., overwhelmed by Hollow Ichigo's power.

Do I hate Grimmjow?! I CURSED him!! Though with the manga spoilers showing Grimmjow in the scene; if he IS a good guy, maybe I'll have a different impression on him. Grimmjow MIGHT teach Ichigo how to have a grown, sexy bod like his. Shoot, I can imagine Grimmjow as Justin Timberlake in "Sexy Back"!!:lol Plus Grimmjow might show Ichigo how to be stronger, which "I" would want Ichigo to do. He needs to get stronger "without" the use of his mask. If that were to happen, if he used the mask again, he would be 2x as terrifiying!! Damn you, Ichigo! You made Nell cry!!

Yey, thanks for the translation Errechan, even if it's for that page. I was wondering what Loli and Menoly were saying to her. Man, at the beginning of this arc never would I have predicted that Orihime would get beaten up like that. I think we had discussed elsewhere that while she's working on the hougyoku, she gets injured by Aizen or Gin to stop her from fully destroying it. We're all under the impression that she's off limits to harm because Aizen has need of her.

In chapter 249, when Loly and Menoly were introduced, it was easy to pick up the jealousy and animosity. But I would think their fear of Aizen would have prevented them from doing anything to Orihime. Did they seriously think that because of all the distractions caused by the rescuers they would get away scot free? The strange thing is, the fact that they wanted to beat Orihime's face means they didn't want their deed hidden because her injuries are there for all to see.

I'm also curious if Grimmjow will do the honors of punishing them or if Aizen does it. Grimm looks like he wants to just punch anybody, having not had the chance to face Ichigo himself.

Let's say he uses the Hougyoku (spelling?) on her and turns her into a half-hollow! *ducks as a pot is thrown at her* Yes, just my crackpot theory XD Or maybe, he forces her to use her power on the Hougyoku and with such bad luck, Ichigo will run in and find that she is working for Aizen of her own free will... LOL, I think Ichigo already knows that whatever Orihime is doing isn't her will even if she insists that she chose to go to HM, work on the hougyoku for Aizen, etc. He never believed she betrayed them and Ulquiorra confirmed his beliefs. So if Aizen makes Orihime look like she's doing his will, he'll know it to be false. If anything, he has to convince Orihime it's not her fault, that Aizen planned to use her from the start to hurt her friends etc. As for the Orihime turning half-hollow...crack is so much fun isn't it? XD

I think Ulqui confirming Aizen's playbook in making Orihime look like a traitor meant that card won't be played in the future. Or at least it won't be effective against Ichigo because he knows the truth (from his own assessment and from Ulq's confirmation).

Hmmmn, Grimm using Orihime as a bargaining chip to fight Ichigo. A lot of people think that's what Orihime is going to be used for, to heal Ichigo so Grimm can have his rematch. I'm not too sure about that idea 'cause...it just seems so I don't know...not necessary. If he wanted to fight Ichigo, he could have just gone right ahead without stopping for Orihime. Ichigo would have fought him regardless because they're last fight was interrupted.

Maybe he had gone ahead. And then felt Ulqiorra. Grimmjow isn't a retard, he wouldn't challenge Ulqiorra's authority - Ulqiorra is two ranks above him - and he knew that Ulqiorra won't leave much of Ichigo. So he went to Orihime who did the impossible - restored his lost arm - and now he's going to use her to erase Ulqiorra's battle and take on Ichigo himself.

Just viewed the Chinese scanlation. From the pics it appears that Orihime can sense the blackness which is descending upon Ichigo and that her reaction is initially one of alarm but then is followed by one of determination.

It looks like Grimm calls out something before he breaks into Orihime's room and I'm curious what it is he says.

We're talking about the panel on the bottom right hand corner of the page where the brunette gives Orihime a left hook (p 17?). It's not really clear by the picture and it could be that the brunette is just saying something off screen.

Edit: According to the translation by Nes Mikel at NF it was indeed the brunette who was speaking and not Grimm. (She was saying something about ripping off Orihime's fingernails.)

And interesting to note is that while beating up Orihime they ask her, "Did you honestly think that human strength could compare to the Arrancar's?" which might indicate that she did attempt to fight back and/or defend herself but was not strong enough.

I also find particularly intriguing the last line about how the "darkness in Las Noches continues to grow deeper" and if that relates in any way to how the blackness appeared to be descending on Orihime's room in pp 6-7.

And exactly what did Orihime intend to ask of Ulqy when she assumed it was he who entered her room and not the two arrancar b*tches?

As for Kubo giving us another twist in the plot, I wouldn't be surprised. The sidetext about darkness descending makes me think it's either all the fates of the rescuers plus Orihime is bleak or it's Ichigo falling into darkness that's going to affect them all.

Well I remember someone mentioning that she could be acting meek, or also I think that after so many personal blows "seeing" her friends fall one by one, it is hard to stay strong, espcially after being mentally toyed with. So it could be IMO either being meek, or feeling like she's totally giving up/nothing to cry for anymore.

But anyways, as I mentioned before, this is all Kubo's way of preventing Orihime from showing her hand too soon, even if it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Many readers are wondering about how strong she her abilities are now and what, if any, are their limitations. He's given some hints by having her heal her two virtually dead shinigami escorts and restoring Grimm's nonexistent arm, but the effectiveness of her other two abilities is still a big question mark. Kubo, as usual, is just being a big tease.

I think what stood out for me about this chapter was Orihime's reaction to Ichigo. It was different from how she reacted to Chad or Rukia. With Chad she was visibly worried about him and tried to convince herself he's alive. She was shaken enough that she snapped and slapped Ulquiorra when he was going off on how her friends were incompetent and better of dead. With Rukia, she was desperately trying to call anyone to let her out of her room so she can help Rukia. She was also crying as she flashbacked to Rukia being impaled.

With Ichigo, it was different. Her eyes went wide at the moment the darkness almost surrounded her. It wasn't a look of worry or fear of his death, more like she could feel the reiatsu of Ichigo but at the same time it's not Ichigo she's feeling. I know that doesn't make any sense, but it's like as if she noted the change in Ichigo's reiatsu...that's he's gone over to the dark side, so to speak. Seriously, when I first read the script I thought she'd be worried about him the way she was with Chad and Rukia, but she wasn't. Well she was worried, but not about his life fading, but the change in him.

Mano, I agree that Orihime's reaction was unexpected, and I'm sure Kubo intended it to be a surprise. After the way he portrayed her after Chad's and Rukia's defeats one would have naturally expected her to completely break down when Ichigo fell, but that wasn't what happened at all. It really seemed like she had some course of action in mind with her look of determination and with what she was about to say to Ulqy.

The Ichigo scene kind of reminds me of Yu Yu Hakusho when Yusuke dies after fighting Sensui and then transforms into his half-demon self.

I'd like to go back and reread the parts where Orihime senses Ichigo's darker self. Do you know which chapters those were?

You mean when she saw Ichigo's bankai close up? True. As long as Ichigo's Hollow side lingers, even if he could control of it, Orihime will just keep her distance from him. Ichigo may have achieved the power of a Vaizard, but it's not 100% controlable yet. Like Ichigo said, if he kept using his Hollow power, he'll probably self-destruct. If you ask me, the way he'll be able to rescue Orihime and escape alive is with Grimmjow's help(if he doesn't go berserk, that is). If Ichigo used the power at least one more time, there's a guarantee that Shirosaki will take over.

So she's aware of the differences in the reiatsu within Ichigo. Maybe what she felt was the violent reiatsu coming from Ichigo that she remembers from chapter 193. I do like how that reiatsu seemed to have reached out to Orihime, as if the hollow wanted to make itself known to Orihime. I like that Kubo tied both Ichigo and Orihime through that.

I sort of have a question. I don't know if it's dumb or not, but it's something I've been kind of pondering lately. During the vizard chapters, when Ichigo was training to obtain vizard skills, Orihime came to visit them an caught the attention of Hachi. It was noted that Orihime's powers were analogous to Hachi's. So does that mean that Orihime has vizard capabilities? Hachi said that he had never met anyone with powers like his, so that can't be a complete coincidence. Even Rukia took Ichigo to Hachi because she couldn't locate Orihime. It also makes me wonder how Hachi is a vizard. I thought vizard's were had hollows capabilities, but he seems to have no desire to fight which i find odd for someone who supossed to have some hollow powers.

Ungraceful, I don't believe that Orihime has vizard powers per se (no other vizard besides Hachi has the same type of ability), but more that she and Hachi are very unique individuals. He says that it's very hard to believe Orihime is a "mere human" to possess her type of ability. On the other hand, Ichigo seems to be a "mere human" as well and none of the vizards think it's particularly odd. I would like to see some sort of background on Hachi and more about the origins of his abilities because that may shed greater light on Orihime's powers.

Honestly, I do consider her Vizard the way Hachi is (that's why he has a hollow, but isn't a fighter) but a little more unique since she is human. I like how she and Ichigo have that in common too.

As for Grimmjow sensing that violent reiatsu, that's a very interesting idea. For him to think it was Ichigo's reiatsu only to see it surrounding Orihime instead. But I also think he heard Loly being too loud 'cause Menoly did tell her to keep it down. That and the focus on the door started when Loly shouted, "Oh I know I'll rip off her nails" (man did she sound like she said that with glee). Then the second panel following that focused on the door and the 3rd one was it cracking. It's like as if the "nail ripping" was the last straw to make Grimm play hero for once in his life. XD

If Grimmjow does end up saving Orihime from Loly and Menloly, can you imagine how ticked off Ichigo would be? He didn't get to protect her like he promised. Instead, one of his enemies saves her. Talk about a slap in the face.
But then again, I don't think Grimmjow's going to be the one to get her out of Aizen's clutches. He'll probably punish the two arrancar, but that's as far as his hero abilities goes. So, there's still a chance for Ichigo to play knight in shining armor. That's to say that he doesn't become consumed by darkness first. *sigh* Is it Friday yet?

I'm not so sure that Rose was saying that Hiyori feels Orihime is like a long lost relative. The vizards were talking about how meeting people with the same type of power as they have was like finding a long lost relative and then we see a frame of Hachi then one of Hiyori sparring with Ichigo. Hiyori clearly doesn't have the same type of power that Orihime does so I think maybe they meant that Hiyori considered Ichigo her long lost relative. They did mention the fact that both of them took the longest to subdue their hollows so that might indicate some closer type of connection between them.

Also, I think the fact that Hachi would think of Orihime as a relative wouldn't necessarily mean she is vizard-like. There's been no suggestion that he feels that sort of kinship with the others and they are all full blown vizards. To me it's more that they are two very unique individuals with similar abilities; one happens to be human and the other a vizard.

sheetz, I'm just going by Rose's assessment of Hachi But I agree, she is unique. How is she able to slip through a barrier that Hachi developed when he became a Vizard. Her powers are still so mysterious, but I look forward to Kubo revealing more of it.

If Grimmjow does end up saving Orihime from Loly and Menloly, can you imagine how ticked off Ichigo would be? He didn't get to protect her like he promised. Instead, one of his enemies saves her. Talk about a slap in the face. But then again, I don't think Grimmjow's going to be the one to get her out of Aizen's clutches. He'll probably punish the two arrancar, but that's as far as his hero abilities goes. So, there's still a chance for Ichigo to play knight in shining armor. That's to say that he doesn't become consumed by darkness first. *sigh* Is it Friday yet?
Or Wednesday so at least we can find out if the chapter will even feature Orihime, or if it's all Ichigo visiting his inner world, or Renji and Ishida tagteam. I don't mind a little of both so everyone gets something. I think Ichigo will still have his hero's moment to surpass that of Grimm's entrance. He does have to fulfill his promise to protect Orihime and that will still come into play soon. His goal in this arc is still to rescue her so make no mistake he hasn't lost sight of that despite his concerns for his friends who have fallen.

What I found interesting while reading a review at mangahelpers was the idea that Ichigo losing to Ulquiorra makes Ichigo's future fight with Grimmjow a bit anti-climactic. Ulquiorra practically one hit Ichigo. Compare that to Grimm where he was almost defeated by Ichigo's masked form. So the reviewer doesn't foresee a 3rd fight between Grimm and Ichigo and I sort of agree with this. Ichigo may postpone the rematch with Grimm seeing that he protected Orihime from further harm. After all, Kenpanchi is still waiting for a rematch with Ichigo.

What made me think Grimm will help Orihime? It all comes down to the way Kubo gave him the "hero's entrance". He didn't have to interrupt Loly and Menoly, but he did. He could have just calmly opened the door, but he blasted it to smithereens instead. He could have just had a passive look on his face, but the look in his eyes rivals that of Ichigo when he's angry. Loly and Menoly also could have been happy to see him, but both look like death warmed over instead. All these things make me think Grimm will help Orihime. I'm not saying he's switching to the good side yet, but his arrival did already give Orihime a reprieve. Even a short reprieve is help enough.

Grimm's purpose for breaking in is to repay his debt to Orihime. (Huh?) And then he beats up the arrancar b*tches and says he needs her to come with him. (OK, that part sounds reasonable.)

We also see more of the fight with #8, who may be releasing.

Thanks sheetz! Yey I was right from the beginning when I said Grimm will be like, "we're even". He's a straightforward kind of guy, what you see is what you get. He's not going to overanalyze things or say things to psychologically mess with you. He doesn't agree with Ulq's methods, he'll say it. He wants to fight the strongest, he'll test it out to see who that is and then fight that guy. He may be the bad guy and all, but I see him fitting in the 11th division quite nicely. Nice to see a little sense of honor in him even if he does end up using Orihime for his purpose. He's not going to sugarcoat it that's for sure.

I'd give it 40%. Not everyone downloads manga nor even knows that you could see online Bleach manga. I didn't either until a friend of mine told me. But I'm quite suprised though! I really like this couple they have a great dynamic. It's not just the anime though, the manga also has highlighted their potential relationship. The only thing that irks me is when people read into Rukia and Ichigo's relationship too much. Yeah they're close and have great affection for each other but that pretty much sums it up IMO. She knows his worries as a shinigami and knows what buttons to press, and he even states that he owes her so much. It's not love its friendship IMO.


I love OrihimexIchigo, I love how she is so shy about expressing her feelings, well until she had to go to Hueco Mundo, and she tells his she loves him while he's asleep. I love her connection with him it's nicely done and not cheesy IMO

The anime is totally IchiRuki. All the ending songs always have Ichigo and Rukia together somehow (running together, standing on a roof together, staring at something that's supposedly one another), so I'd say the anime is trying to point that in the end Rukia will have Ichigo.

The animation is inconsistent, they slice of scenes in random order, they make random additions, they alter scenes and character's appearances (first episode, Yuzu came to tell Ichigo to run, not Karin. From Karin's behavior a while later I would say that this was intended to show she has a soft heart but covers it to protect Yuzu).

Impressions:

GJ really doesn't take it easy on girls. The way he dispatches Orihime's tormentors is every bit as brutal as the way he dispatched Luppi. Perhaps even moreso in the case of the brunette.
Maybe it's just me but I'm not really feeling the love between GJ and Hime. She seems pretty terrified of him, understandable as she's witnessed his brutal slaying of 3 of his supposed comrades. I don't think Orihime feels she can get away with slapping him the way she did to Ulqy.
And what is it that he wants of her? The most common theory is that he wants her to heal Ichigo so they can resume their previous battle. I dunno, though. Right now GJ is in pretty deep doodoo with Aizen, and it's hard to believe that he's so shortsighted that the only thing he's concerned about is his unfinished business with Ichigo. I'm hoping he has some other plot devised to get even with Aizen.
Next up is Ishida. His interactions with Pessche are pretty cute, and he seems to have surprised Zael with his speed. The way I see it, Renji's really not in Ishida's league, and is reduced to being the tertiary character cheerleader in this fight. In fact, he's not even in this chapter. As far as the outcome of this fight, I tend to think Ishida will squeak out a victory with him showing us one more of the gadgets on his utility belt (It's clear Ishida reveals one new weapon per new enemy faced.) It might also end up in a draw.

I never felt love between Grimmjow and Orihime. She's terrified of him and he is just a brute.

I think Grimmjow is interested in Ichigo because he wants vengeance on Aizen. Sure, sure, crackpot, but hey, Grimmjow HAS been humiliated. With someone as cocky as he is, I'd imagine he has quite the ego, so being humiliated means much. And what's the best way to beat Aizen if not join with the good guys?

Ishida I don't think surprised Zaera with his speed... Zaera had this "WTF?" expression, not the "OMG he's faster?" expresion.

For Loly, he let her feel the pain 'cause he knew who was responsible for beating up Orihime more. Yeah, brutal and in character all the way. Didn't expect less. From the original spoiler pics I really thought that Grimm grabbed Orihime right away with that joker like smile of his. But after seeing the scans I did a doubletake at his expression right after he finished of Loly. He was staring at Orihime for two panels as if the wheels in his brain was turning (that or he likes her XD *is shot*). Then Orihime says something and he was back in character. Anyway, he and Orihime seem to be embarking on a little quid pro quo. Just wonder what his motivation is.

The popular, oft discussed theory is that he's going to take her to Ichigo to heal him so he can fight him. I've mentioned it before, that will be anti-climactic because Ichigo just fought a #4 Espada. Having a rematch with #6 isn't going to compare. I'm sure Grimm is aware of that. If Grimm does take Orihime to Ichigo to heal, his purpose is probably to use him to do his bidding. With Orihime as his hostage of sorts, Ichigo would have no choice in the matter. I don't mind that scenario at all. If Grimm does want to start his own mutiny, what better way then to recruit the guy who's got the same goal as him. Farfetched, but throwing it out there.

As for Orihime's reaction to Grimm, I don't think she's that afraid of him as she's puzzled by him. She know's what he is already based on how he killed Luppi in front of everyone so I don't think she expected less of him in how he killed off the other girls. Compare the scared faces of Loly/Menoly to that of Orihime, there's a difference. Anyway, she knows Grimm has a favor to ask of her, so for now, she's not his target.

Loved Ishida and Pesh interaction! Classic! Pesh is ruined Ishida's diva entrance! XDDD He's pretty confident he can take on Zael. And Zael's face in the end was total shock 'cause he's just going to get owned. Well at least that's what it looks like it. It will probably force him to release and then Ishida will be in trouble. Here's to Renji (who was MIA in this chapter) stepping in to help out. I want Ishida and Renji tagteam to finish off Zael. Tired of these one on one battles.

I'm also more for a scenario where Grimmjow wants to use Ichigo for a mutiny. I've already posted my thought on that in the chapter thread - I believe that Grimmjow wants to use Ichigo to topple Aizen as a revenge for his humiliation.

And what better way than to steal Aizen's price and use her for the good guy (who obviously has something for her and vice versa) to do his bidding? Nothing short of smart from the brutal and cruel Grimmjow.
