I just finished reading this entire thread (it took me a few nights), and was wondering if I could join this FC! Being a huge IchiOri fan, it was very nice to read other people's opinions that were so close to mine! In fact, I decided to sign up for this message board deliberately just for this FC. I'm rather wary of Message Boards as a rule, having had some .... interesting experiences, but this place seems nice. :) So I hope you won't mind.

@Hollow_Man_ct: Thank you for the welcome! And rest assured, I'll be as active as I'm capable of. It will be hard on days when I have to work though, and of course when school starts at the end of August, but I'll be sure to check in whenever I can. :)

On a more Bleach related note: I can't wait to find out what happens next in the manga! While I'm with most in hoping that there isn't another damsel in distress storyline, I'm sure that if for some reason that is the case, Kubo Tite will do something original with it. The next chapter should be good!

Ack! o_o I'm sorry if my liking "Can't Touch This" upset you. ;_; I was a kid when the song was popular, thus liked the lack of meaningful content of the song. It was catchy, okay? *curses the early 90s*

But anyways. I, too, would like for someone to save her, or better yet, for her to save herself. That would be nice to see! I find it hard to think that Kubo Tite would do another damsel in distress storyline, thus I am looking forward to seeing how he handles it. He hasn't disappointed me yet, and he probably won't unless for some reason he has a lapse of reason and decides to let Ichigo and Rukia end up together. I don't think I could handle that.

Yet if, for some reason, Orihime is kidnapped and everyone needs to save her, I would be interested in seeing how everyone would react and how their reactions differ in relation to when Rukia was abducted. Ichigo went to save Rukia, but everyone else went for their own reasons. Orihime has strong bonds with Ichigo, Ishida, and Chad as well as some forming relationships with some of the shinigami (Rukia and Rangiku are two that spring to mind). If she was in trouble, I truly believe that many people would want to go to save her, and not for other reasons like with Rukia. That I would be interested to see, especially how Ichigo's reaction would differ in that situation, if it did differ, that is. Does that make sense?

But again, I find it hard to believe that Kubo Tite would do a same storyline over again, but I have faith he'll do something amazing. ^_^

Oh, okay, good ^_^ I'm glad. I'm quite surprized and shocked that I used to like that song as well.

As for the next chapter: It shouldn't be too long now until we can see what happens, unless there isn't a chapter this week for some reason. That always makes me sad when that happens.

I'm gald to see that IchiOri fandom is growing steadily, it was getting depressing talking to the same people over and over again, and listening to Hollow's rants when he was sure he had me trapped in the basement. And yeah, IchiOri is the only pairing of Ichigo that makes sense to me. Even though my esteemed colleagues (or a good majority of them) are hardcore IchiRuki fans, I don't see how that would happen ever.

I've always thought they would get together since the first episode that had Orihime in it. :)

I don't like Rukia, because she seems to be self-pitying all the time, and that really annoys me. Orihime's my fav character, though I wish KT would show her more. it's great that new chapter should finally cast some light on Orihime ! Woo!!

I support Orihime and Ichigo goes because Orihime truly cares for Ichigo and notices all his reactions to stuff (as shown all the time in the manga). She also understands him more than anyone, better than Rukia or Ishida or Chad. I think Orihime deserves happiness so I vote for IchiOri!!

Crazy, funky, steamy situations will probably happen too. I'm going to have the time period for the main character's Shinigami Academy be during the time Rukia, Renji, Hinamori, and Kira were there. :D

With pictures and evidence, to make a rock solid case for the support of IchiOri... Because I think it needs to be done. I was wondering, if when I get some work on it done, you all would help by pointing out things that I may have missed. :) Brain can't function enough to articulate more, but I will start work on it tonight.... I know there have been some good essays and stuff, but I don't know of a complete page with insane indepthness... Brain... fried... arg.

Also, if you need a solid RAW source of Info and Debate regarding IchiOri pairing and Orihime, go to randomness, and Dig out the sunken treasure ship of our debates and info on Inoue and IchiOri, "Orihime deserves better" thread, it is where me and Unying first joined forces against many a foe, when we created the Karakura Super Heroes and when HitsuOri became a true blue 100% IchiOri fan after convincing him ( No worries, Hitsu, its a compliment ^_^ ), so want info, go there.

The point is we are trying to make people understand that IchiOri has more solid evidence and more chance of happening than IchiRuki, something that 99% of the fans refuse to admit to save their lives. Super Heroes make it their job to make them understand, through oslid evidence and known facts. Also, a website does sound nice, I believe that it will contribute much to our cause (if we can call it that way...) because it will have all IchigoOrihime evidence in one place and will be easier to access (pun unintended). Well... there is tha fact that they spent two days while in Soul Society... and erm.. well, in the anime I think there was this scene where Ishida saved Inoue and kinda hugged her... other than that, it's the same as Eri X Kenji in School Rumble: wishful thinking on the fans' part.

@summer_faerie: I think it's just fans making up pairs...they think that IshiOri would be good since they're so much alike, I.E. soft spoken, well mannered, same interests. What a lot of people don't take into consideration is that opposites attract.

Orihime is Ichigo's soulmate, as the anime showed in the episode in which Orihime is talking about the rain binding together two hearts. Orihime completes Ichigo, they are like two halves of one whole. Whereas Ichigo is always serious and subdued, Orihime is always happy and outgoing.

At least that's the way I see it. xD

Erm people, I have a request from you: please scour the Bleach manga, and nilk out all the things that can serve as a basis for IchiRuki and IchiOri theories. In other words I'm looking for all the moments, sidetexts, sentences, whatever else you may think of, that may be interpreted as support for IchiOri and also those which can be made into support of IchiRuki, from the manga.

I'm doing this because I've been thinking for a while that we all must know all the facts regarding those two pairings. Once all of these facts have been gathered, I wil organize them into a shitload of a long post, and post them in all the threads regarding IchiOri VS Ichiruki, just to make sure that everyone knows everything ragrading those two, without any biased fan interpertation.

I don't really support IchiOri....I still like to see Ichigo and Orihime get separated. But I do agree to some people's views that there is something going on between Ichigo and Orihime.

Reason why I jump into defense is more because of IchiOri and IchiRuki fans....and not IchigoOrihime couplings. I support IchiRuki pairings (because I really, really dislike Ichigo very much and want to see Ichigo suffer with Rukia. Orihime can do better with someone who is not Ichigo, yet more powerful and more responsible and smarter than Ichigo.)

That is why I dislike IchiRUki fans for making a fun at Orihime and IchiOri fans. Which is why I am willingly jump to your side and defend.

However......I see no unity here. You guys do not provide the support I need when others attack me. You do not defend me, or at least show an agreement of what I say is true. Not only you guys do not do anything to back me up....sometimes you guys 'attack' my credibile arguements. And make fun of me.

How do you then expect me to continue on?? Any sane person wouldn't.

The only person that sometimes back me up is sheetz.....and he's not even an IchiOri fan. Which I am grateful.

When IchiRuki fans starts insulting me, accusing me of being things that I am not; ie flamming them. I hope there would be some people who jump at my defence. I hope people will say, 'hey, this person didn't flame.....he did it politely, without direct insults.' Especially you, Undying....when ileenka and jertuyq guy came against me and said that I was defaming/flaming them….I hope that you would jump into my side and defend me.

If we want to attack or defend ....it should be a concerted attacks/defence.

There shouldn't be where one soldier just shoot his teammate then expect the same teammate to fight on.

It doesn't work this way......or at least to me. For I value unity and loyalty in a team.

I can fight. But I don't want you guys to just stand and let me do the fighting alone, and sometimes even ridicule me.

IchiRuki fans would resort to flammings and insults most of the time....when they find that there is nothing to support their pairing. Undying...it's your duty to remind them that they are insulting and flamming.....give them the fair warning and then block their rights when they continue on. It is your moderation power....so use it wisely, and don't play along with their game. Tell them….you flame her/him; say sorry or at least change the contents not to feel the other party is offensive. Show them that IchiHime fans are much more matured and nicer than their counterparts, who wouldn't insult right at their face just to get their points across. Remind them that the IchiHime fans pawned them without resorting to such dirty tactics, as in flaming. Because their points are solid, in comparing to the IchiRuki’s stuffs who are merely just wild imaginations without any valid evidences.

Help me and I will help you. Stand by my side, and I will stand by your side. Even if I don't really like this pairing very much.

I've been going through the manga and gathering that information for the website I will eventually do (soooon), but I'm only on volume... seven or so. I really haven't had time. That isn't an excuse, it's a reason why it's going slowly. :) I want to get to current before I finalize any thoughts, because I've been gathering info and putting it into different ideas and headings. Like the real reason Ichigo went to Soul Society, The symbolism of Rain, the Orihime myth, and so on. I have the weekend off, so I should be able to get a load of work done.

Also, I post as often as I can in threads about IchiOri and IchiRuki, but I am seriously afraid of conflict and only can do so much. ;_; And again, I work and have other obligations as well. I can understand the need for people to stand up and defend IchiOri and Orihime, because there is so much negativity towards those topics, but my personality is that I really don't like to get in people's faces unless they have insulted me personally, or have just gone too far. As I keep saying, I respect other peoples opinions, because I want them to respect mine. And I will express mine, but I have a hard time being forcefull. I do believe you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, though.

In conclusion, I will be of whatever help I can, but there is only so much I can do. :) ... I feel like a broken record. I've said this before... haven't I? Oh, well. Sleepy time.

Hey goddess......there are many times where IchiHime fans say that Ichigo secretly looked at Orihime ....especially in the cover pictures. The picture was actually almost the beginning arc where Ichigo and Orihime and Chad looked happy together. Yes they were very happy before Hirako and arrancar and co came into the picture.

But that's not it.

If you really want to prove that there is something going on......just ask them....was there any time where Ichigo ever obliging to Rukia just to make her happy and smilling??

Yet this chapter.....Ichigo readily agree not to leak out that Orihime knew Ishida had lost his power....just so that Orihime would not get upset and panic.

Might I make a suggestion? I think you guys could also make up a list of the differences between the manga and anime in how they portray the IchiRuki and IchiOri pairings. The anime writers have created a lot of misunderstandings due to their liberal interpretation of the manga, and it would helpful if everyone could have in front of them a list of just how much had been changed for the anime.

Hello people. I am posting because it would be a shame if this FC were to dissolve into nothing. I heard someone say that once you have found yourself to be correct then go out and find someone who disagrees with you.

I don't hate Orihime. I think she is sweet and ditzy. That does not make her an idiot, far from it.

As to IchiOri I say that they might have been a pair if Rukia had never entered Ichigo's life. But I would give it a year or two cause he doesn't even notice her yet.

But if this pairing were so then there would be no Bleach.

It would probably be a cutesy version of "A Heat For All Seasons."

A classic example of this is when everyone freaked out at the last episode of Eva. From what I heard, Gainax even received death threats because the ending was so out there that very few people got it. As such, the movies were made and imo it pretty much ruined the ending of the entire series because it got a 'real' ending.

I wouldn't bother myself with those IchiRuki fanatics. Let them be.....the thing I see it as it is......KT has an internet at home (who wouldn't). The more he see the negative expression/disapproval over IchiHime pairing.....their immatured and selfish views about Orihime being a wuss, whiny, bltch, bla,bla.......the more he's determine to make this pairing official. I would, if I was KT. I spent a lot of time developing a character.....giving her pain and sorrows.....all these people would do is to complain about how little other character had been given.....no romantic scene for that pairing and so forth.

Their actions would only push Bleach in the opposite direction.

Ok... I haven't posted here in a while (shame on me!). But I needed to see what the hell was going on in the manga.

So, I downloaded all the manga chapters from 170 and read them all in one day. First thing, god, FINALLY, something to read! I quit the anime 2 episodes after bounto were introduced and Bleach went on hiatus for me. But then I decided to read the manga. Damn, I've been missing so much!

I loved the latest chapter... Ooooh Orihime nearly kissed Ichigo! But it was terribly sad to see her say goodbye. Is this a confirmation of this couple? Oh, please be a yes.

Yup yup. I like Bleach because it's quite realistic and not sappy. A little shoujo ness is welcomed but too much and it'll ruin it. I'd love for Orihime to go head-to-head with Ichigo and then get defeated and like you said, revived with a kiss, as in waking her up with it, nothing magical. Or even just a kiss on her dead lips (as in she dies) will be better than a miracle happening because of that kiss. Fushigi Yuugi has too much of that, put me right off.
