Why I think Ichigo should end up with Orihime? Well I don't know but you can always tell that Orihime has shown some feelings towards Ichigo... I mean let's recall episode 3... Tatsuki talks to Orihime and asks her why didn't Ichigo walk her home after being hit by a car, Orihime then blushes... Later on... When Ichigo's mom death anniversary comes Orihime shows genuine interest in Ichigo's past... She even says that she's beginning to understand him... When they were about to leave to Soul Society, Orihime joins in the group for the sake of Ichigo and not for Rukia... She didn't know Rukia much... All of these are factors that contribute in why Ichigo should end up with Orihime... I've heard people saying that Rukia should end up with Ichigo and Ishida with Orihime, but I think its an impossiblity. Renji seems to care for Rukia and I think that Rukia shares a mutual feeling. Ishida might like Inoue and care about her, but she is indifferent about him... Besides Inoue says to Matsumoto that she is jealous of Rukia and that she'd like to be of as much use to Ichigo as Rukia is... That just may be a hint as to a start of relation between both

And I agree with Z, lots of signs showing her caring for him deeply. I liked the moment in the Episode 59 where she says she was worried about him, and she is happy he's alive annd that she was sorry she couldn't protect him. I always thought that was a nice moment between the two ever since I saw it in the manga. The idea of her wanting to protect him so much is a nice one I think. Even though he's strong and she's weaker then he is, she still wants to protect him.

And the fact she joined the group for him was cool too I think, but then again we could also go Chad x Ichi with that. XD Sorry, I couldn't resist. But yeah, I also feel more towards Rukia being with Renji. I think most fans of Ichigo and Orihime are. Unless they hate Rukia or something and want her to be alone. Which is kinda mean.

But I agree that the moment with Matsumoto and Ichigo seems to be a hint towards Orihime having feelings for Ichigo maybe even more so then before. Or maybe she's feeling more jealous then before. Either way, I thought it was a good way to show that Orihime hadn't suddenly stopped liking Ichigo or something, but that she keeps it hidden for his sake since she believes he wants to be with Rukia.

Either way, I always sorta saw them together. Iunno, I can't picture him with Rukia myself. I think he doesn't need someone who's brooding and angsty to be with him, he is enough for a whole town of people. With Orihime it'd be a boost to him I think, having that person who openly will express caring for him and what have you. It always seemed better to me like that. She could give him a good sense of hope even in dark times, and she would be there for him no matter what I think.

Oooo, I like it. I like the stock of Orihime a lot, and I always loved that lil quote from Orihime. For a supposedly ditzy girl, that was fairly deep. But I like the sig lots. :bigredgri

oh ya hahaha my miyako/orihime & kaien/ichigo theory.... good times... but anyways wut my theory is, is that remember how orihime adopted a new hairstyle in shinigami dress? its similar to the one miyako sported. and obviously the innumerable references to kaien and ichigo is well established. then u have the people being like O_O whoa she's pretty unique, and KT making the "Orihime will be a very important character so I want to get used to drawing her faster." remark in a 04 issue of Jump. so its possible that there could be some reincarnation things going on.

any thoughts?

ya, just like kaien and ichigo have slight differences, miyako looks like a slightly more mature/older version of orihime.

Sure thing, you both are in. Don't worry, liking Rukia isn't a bad thing in here, not in my club anyhow. It isn't an Anti-Rukia club or something. o.o

But yeah, as to the topic, I think it's a cool thing that I hadn't noticed. She does look like Orihime in some ways, even her face looks similar more so then just the hair. Ichigo and Kaien do look alike also, and it would be kinda cool and funny if they hooked up because of some kinda reincarnation. But to be honest, I don't much believe in the whole reincarnation thing. To me, it doesn't seem like it's a big deal in the series even if that's the case. It seems more about the odd powers the humans have and the surpassing of shinigami level stuff. So I don't know if they're reincarnations or not... but a cool find all the same.

^^it'd be so kewl if it was true though. ichigo the former VC of the 13th and Inoue the 3rd seat? it could add a lot to the feel of the series, making it more spiritual and "bleachy" not to mention the ichi x ori benefits ^_^

there's also my "enraku was given by ichigo theory" not sure if it was brought up before. there's not too much evidence about this one, but its a kewl theory nonetheless. wut i was thinking was, orihime had to have developed her crush sometime, so why not after meeting ichigo at the clinic when her brother was hit? ichigo, being the nice guy that he is, would've given orihime his precious teddy bear (he was 12? thats still acceptable, i guess XD) and orihime would've said, "i'll name him enraku!" (ichigo: wah?!) hahahah i can so imagine it. plus over at bf, a ichi x ori member brought up how it couldn't have been given by sora and how tatsuki didnt know about the bear.

another interesting theory to get discussion started.

Hm, the Enraku thing is pretty interesting. It would be like Kubo to make something that seems unimportant mean a lot in the end or something. And it does seem to fit pretty well since they never say much about the bear besides when it get's cut. Tatsuki doesn't sem a beary type but Iunno if she didn't know about it, havent read that in a while. Sora gave her the hair clips, thats one thing good enough, lol. Ichigo giving it would be cool. And I can see him having one, hell he has one now if you consider Kon. Though he isn't your average one of course.

By the way, I'm a bit lacking on my Japanese at the moment, what's Enraku mean? Anything important or that has meaning to it?

^^ doesnt she? i was quite pleased when they showed her. i was initially against it, since wut if the animators didnt make her look like orihime if KT meant her to be? plus the other way around, getting our hopes up ^_^

so wut did everyone think of ep 59? awesome ori x ichi moment there. animators did a good job (despite the almost seemingly planned wipeout of all ichi x ori moments >.>) the white background and cute music made it so "awwwww"

BTW... KT mentioned that Orihime will have a very important role in the future (there was a link to an interview somewhere in the Manga section) and I doubt her roles limits to healing... Hopefully we'll see some good Ichix'Hime momnets in the next Manga chapter (I hope they don't wipe out the IchixInoue moments in the next Anime episode. There should be 2 or 3 really nice ones).

As a gift to SLVR, sorken and Undying I give membership, lol. I'm cheap. No but you're in guys, thanks for joining.

The anime now at least I think is going to seem more Ichi X Ruki until they go back, and then because Rukia isn't there it'll be Orihime. Seems there's going to be afew fillers, I think it's from 64-66 they know for sure the titles of. But with the moments that happened in the manga, if they do them like I imagine they will it will seem more Ichi X Ruki then anything.

As for if there is such a difference between the manga and anime there really isn't. At least notthat I know of. You get the same thing thing pretty much, though if I'm wrong someone please correct me. I don't have my manga on hand to check, so I'm just trying to remember here.

P.S. I hope everyone had/has a Merry Christmas or any holiday you may celebrate.

It's fanfiction, The Mighty Disk Stealer 7-san. I was reffering to the real story by KT. I've seen a lot of fanfics that were regarded as "perfectly right" foir a time, and were put as wrong as possible after a few Manga chapters. Fanfic means little.

Now why did you feel the need to make such a big point of how many people make stories on FF.net about either pair? I don't trust FF.net as anything, or Fanfiction in general. FF.net is a poor choice for fanfics anyway, half of them on there aren't worth reading really. So that pretty much has no point besides saying people on FF.net write more about IchiRuki. I suppose IchiRuki has more fans, but that could just be because they are major characters.

Granted people have many good valid points for it, a lot of people throw away Orhime because she's not a main character or they see her as pointless. She isn't pointless, I could give an example of one but I'd rather not get that whole discussion started. But a lot of people like to think main characters from a story hook up together, it may be plausible, but I don't think that's the only reason you should take into account. Just my opinion.

If you guys want to talk about if Orihime is pointless or whatever then I suppose you could, I just thought we'd talk about something else. How about a topic like...

If Ichigo and Orihime do get together, then how do you imagine it happening? What is a realistic or possible way you see them comingtogether? Even if it's not realistic how do you want it to happen? Etc.

Given the fact that this is A) A manga and B) a shounen manga at that I would not be at all surprised if there is no real pairing, just all kinds of hints with nobody ever getting together. It's fairly common for anime to not actually have the two characters "get together". Ever.

In any event, I much prefer Ichigo to be with Orihime, just as I prefer Rukia to be with Renji. After all, If I recall correctly, Orihime says flat-out when talking to Matsumoto that she loves Ichigo. I like to see such strong devotion rewarded, I think Orihime not only deserves him but that they would make a good couple, their personalities balancing.

Also, there's the fact that Orihime is VERY good at sensing Ichigo's reiatsu. She's quite familiar with him and his "feel", if you will.

In any event, I suppose I'll be joining this one, if there are no objections.

Void you be in. True many don't have pairs, but with how much is put about how much Orihime likes Ichigo it is a possible outcome. So there is hope for those who would like to see it.

I'm in the same boat that I see Rukia with Renji, or I'd like it more rather. And she did say so flat out to Rangiku that she loved him. Well Idon't know if she used love, but she gave off the point.

You're in Usagi. And it's not unheard of that NArutofan or some other sites have IchiOri FCs. They tend to have a lot of fan clubs and end up having FCs for different animes and whatnot. ^^

I wouldn't mind something to lighten up the atmosphere, but I kinda doubt comedy is going to happen next chapter. It really isn't set up for comedy yet...

Ichigo is feeling useless, and they need to do something about that first. My guess is that Ichigo is going to decide he needs to get his butt in gear if he is going to stand a chance against any of the more powerful villians.

If Ichigo goes to the viazards then there could be some humor in the next chapter though. Hirako and Hiyori could make for some entertainment. :D

I still think a really good IchiOri centric chapter would be the best though. ^^

Hey i'll join. The idea of Ichigo being with Inoue is much more pleasing than him being with Rukia. This is becuase Ichigo and Inoue know each other very well and it is like a match made in heaven. Plus Inoue has a crush on Ichigo so it's all good.

Personally I think Ichigo and Inoue are going to be like Shiba Kaein and Miyako.....tragic relationship. Unlike Ichigo and Rukia. Ichigo is going to lose Inoue in the middle of the story and can't get her back. I have a very strong intuition.

Some progress but I have already started a pre-sequel to it. Here's a bit of it ^_^

For Us

"What you have to do," Rukia began eloquently "is make it as big and legendary as you could make anything else."

Ichigo sat cross-legged the frown on his face more evident than ever.

"What the hell does that mean?"

"It means," replied Rukia proudly "It must be remembered. And sweet. You know like in shoujo manga"

A silence echoed for a very teeth-crunching minute. His circle of friends were not helping. Chad who suggested this "meeting" in the first place wasn't even there.Kon was still shouting furiously though his cello-taped mouth in the corner. Ichigo turned to Renji

"What the hell is she saying?"

"No clue. What is shoujo manga?"

"You see!" Rukia sighed folding her arms, and closing her eyes "You aren't taking this very seriously..."

"I am taking it seriously." Ichigo now terrified she wasn't going to help. "You guys didn't take it seriously when I tried to say..."

"We just laughed a little."

"You had tears in your freakin' eyes Rukia!"

The female shrugged in a very prissy manner "How where we to know you were serious?"

Ichigo snapped, "Why the hell would I joke about something like this?"

"Dunno." admitted Renji "You sure are a weird person..."

"Die"

"Shut up."

"It would be much easier if you asked your father for help." interrupted Tatsuki now very bored of the long estranged argument "At least then we can get somewhere...."

"You'd think so won't you?" Ichigo scratched the back of his head "But I don't want him knowing...."

"Why?" The other three asked together

"Because the **** Oyaji would probably end up slipping it to Orihime!" Growled Ichigo "And I'm already nervous as it is."

"You? Nervous?" Renji blinked "You really are serious about this...."

"Of course I am." Ichigo replied his voice lower, and his eyes now looking back at the slim engagement ring resting on his palm, a mixture of excitement and worry running through his fingertips. Rukia caught on to this and smiled. He was growing up.

"Its going to change both our lives." Ichigo mused "And I...want this to be good for her."

Another silence devoured to room but now in cool reflection rather than anything else.

"I never thought of you as a romantic." Said Tatsuki smirking "A rebel, yes a romantic no."

Orihime is perfect

He says "perfect" not because she's good at everything but because other words do not personify her at all. To simply say she was "hot" undermined her smarts. To say she was "intelligent" undermined her goofyness. To say she was a "ditz" undermined her her soft prettiness.

So while others gagged at the sight of her chest, Ichigo resulted in calling her perfect from afar. Her perfect long hair that shoned beautifully in the moonlight as well as the sun, the soft weavable threads of laughter you can hear heavenly scented in the morning, her perfect eyes that where always filled with compassion and hope even if sometimes soft perfect tears would spill when her heart grew concern for him.

Her fingers where perfect to. Soft and long, not like pianist figures which he felt where too lanky and thin but much more similar to an artists. They where much more loving when it came to healing, comforting and all in between.

It wasn't until much later he'd realise her lips where perfect too, in the way she responded to his touch, and the way soft moans escaped them fluently when his fingers drifted to unspoken areas. In the morning when she's laid bare and beautiful, the waking sunlight showed all her perfect qualities at once.

Ichigo is perfect.

It is not obvious at first because Ichigo himself lives up to his name. Lots of seeds on the outside but with the juices and realy beauty inside.

Ichigo is kind. He defends those who feal meak and does things for others that some may find to bothersome. His words strike the air in passion, and his hands embrace everyone with the will to protect.

When he first touches her, she is nervous but not scared. His hands are gentle in stroking because in truth he is a gentle creature. His gaze is not harmful when he listens to her off-shot comments about pirate-ninjas. His mouth which although sometimes spew unflattering words and jestures to others, is sweet and leaves her breathless as she clings to him when they embrace in the moonlight.

His eyes are always determined and full even if sometimes, when they're so overflown with sadness, her own eyes feel like crying for him. Even if no fault falls on him, he always seeks to make things better.

This is above all why she knows he is perfect.

The Pregnancy

Orihime is proud of the pregnancy.
Always beaming, she shines like a quiet morning star. There is not one moment Ichigo sees the full stages most women are meant to go through when pregnancy hits. Orihime as always, defies the stereotype. There were no tears or tantrums or loud pitful moments. She beams as she throws up in the toilet, giggles at her expanding waist line and blushes in delight at the sight of her bigger and baggier clothing.
Sometimes she sings to her bulging tummy. Usually in the bath or in the night, cool sweet fables excaping her soft parted lips. She is very proud of the bulge, she says because it's a hybrid of both of them. He thinks hybrid is an odd word to use for a baby but Orihime's smile always widens when she explains she's proud it'll be a mish-mash between him and her, her faults and his, both their talents in one person, a thought that makes her very happy indeed.
What makes him happiest about this is the way the bulge kicks at the slight wimper of her voice.

honestly...these are the best anythings i've heard about romantic anime characters...and thats sayin alot coming from me...a guy who watches those anime shows for girls and romance stuff which he knows he shouldn't do but does anyway...im thinkin you should make and name their child and he/she/them(possible twins) should have some spiritual powers...and hopefully a sword to go with it...and ichigo could go out and practice while orihime makes a lovely lunch while watching and cheerin their spawn on and warning ichigo not to go to hard on their lovely gift from above...then call them in when its time to eat...and she'll tell them to eat every bite......can i help you write something like that cuz ideas are flowing into my brain...like nothing else ever has...and one day ichigo would take their child out hollow hunting...i wonder wat their child would look like???

There are some words he just cannot say.

"Unbelievable!" you may shriek for Kurosaki Ichigo's mouth is much more legendary that his bite.

But so it is.

One of the words he just cannot say is love. Not the name. The word. For some reason it began to haunt him in silent awkwardness when he was 13. Ever since his sisters started reading shoujo manga (such as the awkwardly cute Furuba), Ichigo has stayed well clear of that word in case of infection.

But what he finds very unusual about words is the way they seemed to disappear when it came to Inoue Orihime.

For one thing, "Thanks Inoue" is all he can offer when she cheers him on. Even when she muses eloquently about her wish to protect him (something he finds very sweet but cannot find words to reflect this notion) he has nothing to say but “Thanks Inoue.”

The words remain lame in his mouth.

When she's brutally injured, his eyes speak for him and even then to say something other than an apology is something even he cannot do. Only after Rukia appears setting him straight can he face her again the vows spewing over from his mouth like an entangled prophesy from a down beaten man.

Even after that, he cannot even look at her (let alone speak) after his disastrous run in with Grimmjaw, another failure added to an even more expanding list. She remains useful, saving Rukia and the others, where he sees himself fade into the background like a forgotten leaf in autumn.

Afterwards, when Orihime kneels over, healing him once again, secretly adoring him once again, he still cannot find those words.

But to see her eyes gazing down at him, with compassion, respect, joy is something much more valid and meaningful than his quest to find them.

Perhaps, Rukia offers The word "love" had something to do with it.

Intimacy is a fascinating experience.

The two of them have their share of fun during moments of intimacy; Ichigo much more than Orihime. She's soft, he knows that but the softness of her lips is something rather different to anything he's ever experienced. Stroking her back with his fingers and caressing her cheeks with his tongue is so enticing and wonderful he sometimes wonders why they hadn't done so before.

When they first tried it had been awkward, Ichigo nearly turning as red as his name pun and Orihime giggling hysterically as his hands stroked near her bra straps.

But now (after how many times he cannot remember) getting caught-up in the moment (like when she's in a middle of a never-ending random comment in his bedroom,) and begin weaving that thread of intimacy is the norm. He likes the gentleness of Orihime that isn't really seen in other people and the way she responds to him. Orihime herself likes the way he seems indifferent yet still somehow passionate about holding, stroking her and teasing her with his flightly fingers.

They even hold hands in these instances.

Isshin gives ratings on his son's "performance" regularly. Whether it was the dismal C+ Isshin gave him, the notes attached to this to improve his "technique", or the fact he had been spying yet again charges Ichigo to blind fury against his father.

Rukia still finds his family charming. Orihime blushes with her new hickeys. The Kurosaki girls remain oblivious to what their brother was doing.

Orihime loves these tiny moments with Ichigo. She regularly notices the way he is happy with her something that makes her very happy in return.

She once rambled on how she was very grateful for this fact during one of their more “intimate” nights; the ones where mewls turn into moans. Ichigo as always listens to her before silencing her by stroking her cheek.

"Enough," he says softly “It’s late.”

His lips soon move gracefully across her shoulders, very light kisses spread equally in each soft spot and soon her nervous giggles turn into supple sighs.

Orihime soon realizes they’ve mastered intimacy fairly well.

Ichigo has a fluent tongue when it came to Shakespeare.

Orihime finds it fascinating, the way he laments every part of the mans work with such detail, that for one moment, the world would be fooled with the idea he had been an English Lecturer at a prestigous University.

"Romeo and Juliet recycles the earlier themes ill-fated lovers," he explains "You'd find the myths of Layla and Majnun, Hero and Leander featured in it."

He scratched his head in quincitive irritation. Orihime still watches intently.

"It's one of his recycled ones you see." He concludes "Shakespeare liked looking back on old stuff and reinventing it."

Orihime beams "Like you."

He shrugs in response "Not really...well I guess so, if you think Shakespeare is boring..."

"OH NO!" Orihime nearly spills the drink on her lap "I think you're really fascinating! I mean Shakespeare- but well you as well- the way you're passionate- and it's really cool- not a lot of people- not a lot..."

"I get the point." Ichigo says frowning not in annoyance but in puzzlement. Orihime sits back down and grins in response. The orange-haired boy looks to the blue sky lost in deep thoughts.

"I think he wrote it using iambic pentameter." He concludes after a moment. "Everything seems to flow together."

"Hmmm..."

"I don't really like that play much to be honest." Ichigo said "I know it's popular but, I prefer Antony and Cleopatra ."

He turns to Orihime with a softened look.

"There's beggary in the love that can be reckon'd."

"Antony said that didn't he?"

"Yeah." He grinned "What a moron."

Hey, what's wrong with an 'old woman' with a young boy??

In my fanfic, the 'heroine' is much more old (very old) than the hero. Compared to her own kind of people, she's very young. But when compared to the humans, she's very old. But she has an air of innocence since she really didn't expose herself to the real world.

Hero hasn't really know the identity of the heroine. If he did, he would probably leave her if he knows how OLD she is and WHAT SHE IS.......I think.

Long trembling hands, soft comforting touches, whispers of forbidden promises all wrapped in her mind, comforting her sadness, gracing her heart which ached in pain. If this had been a dream, it would have been a dream she would wish to forget. To feel so useless about something, so lost, so unsure of the future where all her fears combined.

Kurosaki-kun...

She had admitted she loved him.

Sora had never truly explained what love was to her, but she figured it out by herself, in a way it was better. This kind of love was different than the other types she was used to. It wasn't like loving bean jelly, or looking at the sunrise with Tatsuki or watching TV with friends.

It was much more.

"That is why it hurts," Matsumoto explains in between mouthfuls of bean paste "Because you love so much, you hate to see the other in pain. You crush yourself when you can't make them happy and you always choke up when someone else can."

The older woman looks up at the ceiling in silent serenity.

"However." she whispers "If you know that person, can read the sadness in their eyes, feel the pain that is in hovers within them and accept all the bad qualities that may make them seem invalid… then you can just let go of all those other negative feelings. They bind you down to false pretences that the emotion you feel means nothing."

Matsumoto's eyes narrowed directly to Orihime.

"And you know perfectly well, what you feel means something, don't you?"

It remained an unanswered question.

A sudden attack in the night interrupted their meditation session.

Healing the injured began. A face masked in sorrow and uselessness stayed in her dreams for the next four hours. His voice echoed in a stilled silence while confused faces played beside him.

But she knew.

She woke that morning early. Always this early. The sun damasked at her window. Forgotten songs of the morning chanting in her presence. Yet it was the same.

It had happened again. His eyes had said it all.

There was no more light sparkling in his eyes. The clouds and pain where back again.

Yet deep within her, she felt some sort of silent relief. It was a rather odd thing to feel in a situation like this, but she remained very glad for this feeling. This feeling that meant something.

Well, her personality is like Masaki's (I can't imagine Inoue going angry, ever), but she is different from Masaki in two things: a. She hes powers that will allow her to defend herself VS Hollows, and b. ehr husband will never let himself stop sensing her Reiatsu. As soon as something is wrong (e.g. he senses a Hollow near her), he'll be there in a flash.

So, Inoue will not share Masaki's fate.

"But then if you don't eat wouldn't you get sick?" asked the girl worriedly.

"I didn't say that."

"What? You do like the rain?"

"Hell no. I didn't say I didn't eat spicy food in the rain."

"Ohh." Orihime replied blankly

"Yeah." retorted to boy "Besides, I eat other food other than spicy things...."

"Err?!" The girls eyes possitively beamed "Really?!"

Orihime positively squealed in happiness in reply.

"Orihime." he said more softly. The girl stopped at the mention of her first name.

"Hmm...?"

"This is a serious mood killer."

Orihime laughed nervously, "Oh sorry, What were we doing?"
