Jade wears a normal Exorcist uniform, one which is similar to Lenalee’s, along with a simple belt adorned with round metal clips. A black velvet pouch with a crest ( two blue Chinese dragons hovering over a lotus lake) embroidered onto it is attached to the right side of the belt. However, what is inside the pouch has never been revealed to anyone. When off mission, Jade (who isn’t exactly very fussy about what she wears) is seen wearing anything that ranges from casual khakis and jeans to traditional garments and kimonos. However, all her clothes are blue, although different in shades, and long-sleeved to cover the pair of lavishly glamorous bracelets she wears at her wrists (logically, she wouldn’t want anyone trying to rob her off her Innocence, would she?).
Personality: Jade isn’t one who finds herself comfortable at large gatherings, parties, or balls but she isn’t exactly a loner either. She enjoys the company of a few close friends and doesn’t mind getting to know a few strangers. She is warm and friendly and is practically helpless against good jokes. However, Jade can be rather serious at times. She always keeps her thoughts to herself and being a cautious individual, she rarely trusts anyone. She takes her duties seriously and when participating in missions, finds herself incapable of tolerating idiots.

Innocence weapon: A pair of silver bracelets heavily studded with sapphires of all sizes and has mystifying symbols and ancient Chinese characters skilfully carved on them. Each bracelet does not possess the same kind of symbols and Chinese characters.
When her innocence level 1 is activated, her bracelets will illuminate a soft, cool blue glow. The symbols and Chinese characters on the bracelets will shine bright white depending on what kind of attack or defence she uses. Different combinations of symbols and/or Chinese characters will produce different kinds of attacks or defences.
Innocence Lvl 1:
Jade’s level 1 innocence is more to defence than to attacks.
Shield of Soul: There are two levels in this particular ability. She can use this defence partially, meaning that less energy is required to cast it. When used partially, the shield formed by her innocence is smaller and less able to withstand strong attacks. However, the advantage of casting it partially is that she can move around with the shield. If Jade chooses to cast the shield completely, a large glowing Chinese character (defend, 守 ) will appear on the ground where she stands. Over this character, a huge transparent dome-shaped barrier appears, protecting whatever is inside of it. Jade can usually hold off normal attacks from Akumas with this barrier for about 15 minutes. She can repel anyone using this barrier as long as she has enough strength to cast it. The stronger the enemy (such as Noah etc.), the more energy is required, the quicker the barrier collapses. Another disadvantage is that when the barrier is cast completely, Jade will not be able to move around.
Healing Wave: This enables Jade to heal wounds at the cost of her own health. With this ability, Jade will be able to heal and increase others’ health. With every 3 points of health she restored to a particular person, her own health will decrease by 1 point. To heal and restore one’s health, Jade places her hands over a wound or something. Her hands will glow dimly blue and waves of energy are seen flowing into the person's body from her palms. The person’s health is slowly restored.
Soul Bind: This ability enables Jade to temporarily paralyze her opponent. For approximately 1 to 10 minutes (depending on how strong the opponent is), the opponent looses all control over his body. This ability enables Jade to attack her enemies without them counter-attacking or run away if the opponent is too strong.
Celestial Waterblade: According to the myths, the waterblade is said to be a legendary sword with a life of its own, capable of showing everything from the past, present and future. It chooses its wielder, guides its wielder, protects its wielder, and trains its wielder. Legend has it that when the time comes, the waterblade and its wielder shall emerge to cleanse the world off its demonic inhabitants. What Jade fails to realise is that her innocence is the legendary Celestial Waterblade.
In Jade’s level one innocence, the waterblade appears to be a translucent, glowing blue blade without a hilt, barely solid enough to be held by human hands (that includes Jade). To use it, Jade waves her hands in any direction she wants, and the blade(s)* will materialise and cut through her enemies. The beauty of this technique is that the blade(s) can cut through almost everything, and does not leave behind any mark or wound at where it cuts. It basically materialises out of the thin air, cut through an enemy, and then disappears without a trace. Severe internal damage is caused. No blood is spilled and at a glance, it would be impossible to tell that the enemy had been slashed/cut by the waterblade. However, a single cut by a waterblade is only lethal enough to kill a level one akuma. To kill higher level enemies, more waterblades (sometimes, a rain of it) will be required.
*Jade can choose to cast any number of waterblades as she wishes to, as long as her health allows it. This particular technique cannot be used should her health falls below 5 points.

When her innocence level 2 is activated, her bracelets disappear from her wrists and appeared in front of her hands in their new form; a long silver metal staff with a sparkling dragon form made out of pure diamond and crystals at one end. The dragon’s jaw, which is widely opened, held a floating sapphire stone as large as child’s fist in it. At a glance, the dragon appears to be safeguarding the sapphire with its mouth. When she uses an attack or defence, the sapphire stone will shine brightly from within as though a white flame is burning from the inside.

· Jade owns a pair of blue mystical butterflies which constantly follow her wherever she goes. They starting appearing after Jade first wore the bracelets, which turned out to be Innocence (and she was the compatible user). She can use them to convey messages (the receiver will either see a vision or experience a sudden flow of emotion) or to spy/stalk people (the butterflies can only be seen by Exorcists). Jade refers to them as Jyuni-koushii and Jyusan-hime.
· Jade wears below her clothes a single ruby pendant shaped like a rose which is hung on a silver chain. It doesn’t belong to her, but to a close friend who disappeared while on a mission. She’s suppose to search for a certain person by the name Shushui using only the pendant as a clue.
