Just went to see it. It's not all that good. Many bits cut off, but still, they manage to put in the KEY events. P.S: Voldemort looks like a green alien with no nose..

To all you people who say that downloading bleach atm is stealing, it's not. Unless they have it over here in america then it's not illegal because america hasn't licensed it yet. So, download away!

Sun..American's will EVENTUALLY license it. You know it, I know it. Heck my mom knows it. So the US will be watching who's downloading and stuff..they don't catch much people. Because they just pay attention to music and movies and such. But they do catch some people. Chances of it though are like...10,000 to 1. So yeah, it's illegal

I think harry potter was really good, cept for the fact that they cut off lots of parts.
but emma watson is looking just as good. so is cedric diggory. and the twins are still giving me stomach crams so well. its still great isn't it?

I thought harry potter 4 was ok, but I think it should have been at least 3 hours long because there were a few things they should of put in the movie that they didn't.
but anyways on the whole illegal downloading subject: yeah of course its illegal, but technically its not at the same time because technically if you download oh say a bleach episode, but don't distribute it or burn it to a CD your not technically breaking the law. :rolleye09
I agree with you there. The movie was only like 2 hours and a half. I thought the movie was good considering i was laughing a fair bit and I cried at one point but it was too fast paced and they left some really good bits out <__<

Ok... I'm not the biggest HP fan around so you can expect some critisims from me... The movie was too short given the plot... The characters (specially Ron's) role decreased, which kinda sucks given that I don't like Harry himself... And compared to the chamber of secrets it sucked!

Well I decided to stop going to Harry Potty movies after I saw the Prisoner of Azkaban, since I read the books first, the movies seem kinda lame, why? short, does not amuse me as books do, reading books are always better since thats where directors get the plot, if you read the book you can't miss any event and it makes Harry Pothead more than an action movie (whatever genre it is).

prisoner of azkaban movie does suck. in fact it sucks the most. but i've heard people saying goblet of fire is the best out of the 4 movies so far. i'm going to see it this afternoon. more about it later.
edit. the movies will always BE CUT SHORT and stuffs will ALWAYS BE LEFT OUT because the books are just too thick. of course personally i prefer reading, but there's no harm in watching how good they are in bringing out magic to the screen. the part about 'things cut short' can't be helped. really.
reading the book is so much better than watching the film.
Saw it some days ago - The movie is real good but ehh the o.O Woldemorts nose ... he dont have a nose! XD and I really think they could've showed us the Quidditch match in the start of the movie D:

Ehh, it was ok. The movie dragged in some places and the only exciting competition was fetching the egg from the dragon. Voldemort looked more deformed than evil...

well, i think ralph fiennes did a good job as voldemort. and he looked really evil alright.have you watched the passsion of the christ?voldemort looked a lot like the devil in that movie('cept for the snake-like nose).
and there's a reason why he looks less than human.if you read the 6th book you'd know.

I was huge into Harry Potter until recently (I have no clue why my obsession is dying) and was hoping the movie would revitalize my love of all things potter but despite my opinion that this is the best HP movie yet, it left me numb and emotionless. I didn't love it or hate it ... It was exactly what I expected but nothing more.
I think part of the numbness came from the buttered up climax instead of the vivid downright violent nasty version (R-rated and not user-friendly for sure) in my head. The book I find chilling because you start to get a sense of the Occlumency thing and that all is not well outside Hogwarts way before Voldemort appears. In the movie you never feel that foreboding except from Dumbledore's character.
I liked the first half of the movie better than the 2nd half but the opposite is true for the book. Furthermore, in the book the plot order of importance is as follows A. Voldemort's skeaming B. Triwizard C. Rita Skeeter is a beetle. In the movie its A. Triwizard B. Voldemort's skeaming C. Rita Skeeter cameo of unimportance. This made the movie funnier and more light but also more episodal and mundane.
