Second Night I: The Volcano That Sank A City

Somewhere On the Aegean Sea

Santorini, a crescent shaped island in the Aegean, used to be a full island, with a prosperous people. Then, some 3000-4000 years ago, a volcanic eruption brought it to what it is today.

A group of finders were placed on the island, along with a team of two Exorcists. All vanished. Not a trace remains... the inn has no records, the ship's cargo book stolen. Something is there, but what is it?

Under the sea rests the remains of the volcano. And a secret forbidden to man rests in a book. Even Mt. Olympus shakes at this power.

Komui looked at the people in his room, hanging up the phone. "I need you all to search and find records of what's there. We're sending a team; get whoever we can."

The Earl sat in his room; he had just finished his meal, and wiped his exceedingly large smile with a napkin. He began giving orders. "You all are going on an Exorcist hunt. Good old Alexander has let us know they're sending a group to Santorini."

- You'll first have to get information from the people; they'll lead you along the way. The GM team will edit in information and/or post to help you discover the meaning behind this.
- The Earl side can either defeat the exorcists -or- can investigate themselves. If you defeat all the Exorcists, they retreat; then you will investigate yourselves.
- First mission where Jobs are important. Secrets will be held, and found.
- Careful, or you may slip off the edge and into the lava.
- If you lose a fight (Retreating does not count), then you're relieved from fighting for the remainder of the arc.

Mizaki jumped off the boat that finally made its way on to the shores of Santorini.

"This could be trouble."

Him along with two other finders went to the nearest room to book an inn for them to rest for that night. After renting their rooms they went walking around the village just to check if there was anything weird going on. Everything seemed normal to Mizaki that whole day, but people were looking at him with the way he dressed. They strolled in circles in that village near the harbor until that night came. They took a night of rest in that area and Mizaki took off in the morning leaving the two finders in their bedrooms. Mizaki then went back to the harbor, expecting the next few members of the Dark Order to show up anytime.

Dimitri sat looking over the mission specs yet again as the ship rocked in the waves. He had booked passage on on this small cruise liner a little while before and it was scheduled to stop at the inland of Santorini in a few hours. With a sigh Dimitri set down the mission specs, he had read them enough but it gave him something to do.

"Little master, you have been far to down lately, are you sure you are ok. Maybe a vacation would do you some good" said the finder as he set down the lunch he had went to pick up for Dimitri/

"I am fine, dont worry yourself about things like that" Dimitri said as he put a smile on his face. It lacked the glow that and brightness though, a forced one he had been putting on recently.

"If you say so" the finder said as he walked and sat down on the other side of the cabin.

Dimitri picked at his food but did not really have an apatite right now, which for a Parasite user like him was quite odd. Telling the finder he just need some fresh air, he stepped out of the cabin and walked out on deak. The sea breeze through his hair felt good and the ocean looked calm and tranquil. Santorini would be coming into vein soon as they where getting quite close.

Dimitri would of enjoyed the peace all the way to the island but then just then something caught his senses. The chatter of the boat just seemed to die away and an eerie silence hung in the air. Dimitri was about to activate his Innocence thinking it was the Earl or one of his crones when i voice that whispered beside him nearly gave him a heart attack

"You must not go, secrets are not always meant to be found"

Looking over an old man stood beside him, a withered cane that appeared to be a walking stick in his right hand

"excuse me" Dimitri asked questionably

"what lies within, what has been sealed away from man, the island holds many secretes" the old man said raising his cane to point

Looking Dimitri saw that Santorini had just come into view.

"I dont understand" said Dimitri turning back to old man but no one was there. Dimitri looked to see if he had walked away but he was no wear to be seen. Confused as ever Dimitri turned to go back to the cabin to make sure his things where ready. They would be landing at Santorini soon and he had no time to ponder over useless riddles. Dimitri just pushed it aside as figment of his imagination as he disappeared below deak

Mizaki who was standing still for 2 hours has been very patient with the arriving visitors. It seems he should've stayed in to sleep in for another hour. Nevermind that, hes already outside. He slowly made his way sitting at a table in a resturant facing the Harbor. Everything Mizaki saw to eat was just seafood.

Once i get back....meat..

He ordered a tableful of dishes and finished them all. The waiter who had desperately rushing plates for him never even get to see him finish his food. Everytime he turned around to grab another plate for him, the stranger was already done with his food. The table to Mizaki's right, a woman with her daughter left quietly after watching Mizaki finish his food. They seemed to have lost their appetite as the man in front of him gluttoned over everything he saw on the plate.

After eating everything, Mizaki sat there turning his head towards the direction where the Boat finally arrived. The announcement told everyone on the ship to get off the ship as quickly as they can so they won't delay the next group of travelers. One by one, the people from the boat stepped off. After watching for a few minutes, Mizaki noticed the Exorcist uniform and the hooded Finders following him.

He detached the golem from his scarf and looked at it.

"Chim, Alert them to come here, they're probably hungry from the long sail."

He let go of the Golem and it's 4 white bat wings flew up and down quickly as it went towards Dimitri. It flew around Dimitri's face 3 times and turned to face the direction where Mizaki was. Mizaki tried his best to give a warm smile and sat there waiting for them to walk towards the table where they can have a nice seafood lunch together.

Gabriel stepped out from behind a crate that was resting on the Dock...Ahead of him was the bustling little town that made up most of the islands inhabitants..Behind him was the dock that held a single ship, Next to the town and dock was the long stretch of sandy beach that made up the beginning of the island..

Narrowing his eyes Gabriel sensed the presence of several ants...One in the town ahead..One on the beach and another far out beyond the dock..

Quickly he wove the power around himself that would push him into his Second manifestation so as to Hide his power signature from the exorcists..Now that they couldn't feel or find him he would begin the hunt..Before he began though he broad casted a thought that only a like Noah clan member could hear.

Brothers Sister, I require your assitance..Come help me exterminate the pests

Inside the town:

Behind a dark alley, a tall slender woman lifted her hat as she revealed her sinister smile.

My my Gabriel, I never knew you to take the first step...

Not far behind from her brother, Ruth stepped out from the shadows as she approached a busy vendor.

"Excuse me madam, but could you give me your best scream?"

"W-what is thi-..?! "

Before the pale-faced woman could finish her sentence Ruth slashed the vendor across her chest, sending blood flying out of her lungs. The horrified passersby screamed in unison, a chorus of panic spread throughout the land as the thundering sounds of crowds running away sent chaos.

Wiping the blood off her blade Ravenous, Ruth sighed.

I only wanted her to scream...but this would reach those exorcists faster I suppose..

[Ai]

Gabriel walked through the screaming crowd that was pushing against the way he was walking with deadly grace and with deliberate poise..Eyes focused intently around him looking for what he wanted...Finally seeing it he smilled deadly as he prepared what he needed to do.

Coming through the last of the crowd Gabriel spied his sister standing where he had felt her presence with a bloodied sword in one hand and eyes looking lethal..
"Don't mind me sister..I thought I'd come and help make it easier for us both.."
Pulling out from behind him two sobbing children, a hand holding them at the back of the neck with small electrical charges playing amongst their hair Gabriel started laughing then yelled out so that the exorcists who were bound to be nearby after hearing the screams that Ruth had created..

EXORCISTS, IF YOU DON'T SHOW YOURSELVES RIGHT NOW AND SUBMIT TO US THESE TWO WONDERFULLY INNOCENT CHILDREN WILL DIE

Then turning his head back towards Ruth he smiled that deadly smile again...
"This is why only fools choose the good side.."

((Since Ruth and Gabriel are in the middle of a square a sneak attack to free the children is impossible Submit and surrender or the kids die then Gabriel finds more innocents and kill them as well...You could of course retreat and leave...Then only the children die..Also keep in mind that the moment any attack is launched at Gabriel the electrical charge he already has in his hands will expand into the kids spinal cords killing them instantly. ))

((A little bit before the attacks))

Dimitri walked off the boat as the busyness of the dock spanned in front of him. Santorini could be seen just behind it in all it's hussel and bussel.

"Little master, look at that" said the finder pointing to the air in front of them.

Looking up Dimitri spotted a Golem making its way toward them, it had the most particular color to it though. As it reached them it flew around Dimitri's head obviously wanting to them to follow it.

"Now if my memory severs me right, a particular Exorcist favors that color" Dimitri thought to himself as he weaved through

As he neared a little cafe there in front of him stood Mizaki, just as Dimitri had guessed

"Hello Mizaki, are you doing good today" Dimitri asked

"Yes" came his Replay

"That is good to hear" he said but something from behind them caught his attention

((present time))

As the two turned around the the citizen's came screaming from town square, from the look on there faces it was easy to guess why.

"EXORCISTS, IF YOU DON'T SHOW YOURSELVES RIGHT NOW AND SUBMIT TO US THESE TWO WONDERFULLY INNOCENT CHILDREN WILL DIE"

"Figures" Dimitri thought

As two walked over to the square, they saw what looked to be two noah holding what looked to be two kids.

"what should we do" asked Mizaki

"i really do wish we could save those kids but i know one of those noah, a torture specialist, there where lost the minute they got taken"

"Why"

"they will die no matter what we do, those noah are evil"

"I see" said Mizaki in a grim voice

Truth be told Dimitri wanted to save those kids with all his heart but his many run ins with the earl had taught him there ways

"We still have a chance to save others though, i can sense that other is a electrical user like me and i doubt he has better control over it then me"

"Are you sure" Mizaki asked

"It is the best we can do" Dimitri said as they stepped out into view. Something hei had told him ran in his head

"What is more important, we as commanders must look at the greater good"

"Dosn't mean i have to like it" Dimitri grumbled to himself as the noah spotted him. Whatever they where going to say Dimitri did not even hear it as he blurred into action and closed the distance between them in an instant with is god like speed.

He had hoped that he could get to them in time but even he could not move that fast as he felt the flow electrically flow through the poor kids. Another memory that would serve to haunt him for his days. He would make them pay though.

The noah seemed to standing still to him and he was sure Mizaki was right behind him.

The chains from his left hand warped around the first and slammed him into the floor as the ones form his left whipped out to knock ruth across the square, Mizaki hot on her tail. The anger burned in Dimitri's eyes. They would pay for what they had done. His innocence flared within him as it too burned to his resolve. The electrical current in the area pulsed with his power at his hatred toward the Noah

The Far Side of the Square

"Tch."

Ruth stood up from the rubble as she snarled, her hair falling down from the surprise attack.

"I forgot he had those chains.." she admitted, as she picked up Ravenous. Sent off flying from an exorcist she had met in battle with a few times, her eyes narrowed for letting a small detail escape from her mind.

A footstep.

Ruth turned and grinned as she saw the other exorcist glaring behind her.

"Anything I could do for you boy?"

[Ai]

((meh it doesn't make any difference to me, But remember you brought this upon yourself by having such a lame speed distribution..I won't bother giving clones Stats cause it ain't mattering..))

watching the Exorcist rapidly advance towards him Gabriel felt as though he was moving through honey as he felt the blows hit home on him...

A sloth I may be but even a sloth has it's advantages

As he felt the presence of the Exorcist flee away from him in preparation for another blindly fast attack on him Gabriel focused his powers inwards...Suddenly with a blinding light that radiated outwards from him blinding his nearby opponent momentarily..

When the light cleared there were three cloaked figures standing where Gabriel had once stood...In the midst of unleashing his power he himself had descended down a few levels to his first manifestation..
Only a truly weak person fights someone so far below them at full power

With his mind linked to the clones Gabriel knew exactly what he had to do..As the exorcist went running in at the clone where Gabriel had been standing before unleashing his powers the other clone ran to the right whilst he himself ran backwards..

At their appointed spots roughly 10 meters or so from the Clone that was taking the brute force attack of the exorcist as it ran around him in circles hitting it repeatably with the attack that had hit he himself first Gabriel mentally signaled the other clone which was on the other side..Simultaneously they threw back the hoods on their cloaks to reveal the same face with the same black glasses and yelled "OI TRY AGAIN"...

Stunned the Exorcist turned towards Gabriel..Mentally Gabriel applauded the exorcist for choosing the right one out of the three of them but it didn't matter much for as they had yelled He and his clone had removed their glasses to reveal their pure white eyes...As he looked at the Exorcist who was looking him in the face watching as the glasses came down struggling to make a decision as to which Gabriel to attack the real Gabriel let his power flow into his eyes across the ground separating he and the exorcist who had just started to move his legs to sprint towards him and unleashed his Son of Medusa power..

As the exorcists legs caught up with his reaction reasoning power Gabriel's power hit home into his brain through the connection his eyes had made with Gabriel's with a crumple the Exorcists legs gave way out from underneath him as he hit the ground unconcious...

Ants..only worthy of the dirt we walk on..

Gabriel thought schooling his features as his clones committed suicide by burning out their own brains and fading away in a rush of power....On the other side of the square where Ruth had been thrown by the other exorcists attack Gabriel could see her getting up and talking to him tiredly he telepathically sent her the message that his was down for now and soon to be permanently as he walked over to where the exorcist lay on the ground and placed his hands on his head bending over him...

((Damage down to Dimitri: None..It's a non invasive attack..all it does is knock you unconcious....))

Forcing himself to undergo the transformation to his Second Manifestation again Gabriel looked down deep into the mind of the Unconscious exorcist lying beneath him...Inside he saw a deep down lying hatred for his parents for not paying enough attention to him when he was younger and more importantly a fear of Akuma which although latent had been fostered as a child when he first became aware of his powers..Dimitris entire life and mind was sprayed open for gabriel to read and know..And knowing is only part of what he had in mind..

Taking his deep down initial fear of Akuma gabriel induced extreme paranoia with that one state in mind..When the exorcist awake even a single glance at a Akuma would send him into a hysterical uncontrollable state of mind..Desperate to get away Dimitri would flee and hide until he found a safe spot and closed his eyes and wished it was just a bad dream..

Planting this paranoia deep within Dimitri's subconscious Gabriel withdrew himself with his power and let his second manifestation flee from him..Withdrawing his Gaseous akuma from his sleeve he placed it on the ground next to the exorcist and instructed it to make the man flee from the island never to return..All this took merely a moment for Gabriel to complete..Standing up he waited for the man to wake up and to see his handy work and to watch how his sibling fared..

((All is logical..Even with your godlike movement speed yes i'd be screwed at close quarters..However at a longer distance I have the advantage of my attack and Reaction speed..By the time you've realized what I'm doing i've already unleashed my son of Medusa attack which can make it to you faster then you can dodge it with your reaction speed being what it is...You do have a nice movement stat but you've crippled yourself..Build up your other speed stats to at least 10-20 each and then you'll be practically invulnerably to attacks..Dimitri now has a extreme phobia and paranoia about Akuma..I'm kind..This can be removed by one of your leaders when you get back to the Black order HQ...))

Mizaki leaped forward and hit Ruth in the stomach 2 times, as he slid behind her. Activating his Innocence level two in an instant he wrapped his innocence around the Noah's neck and whispered in her ear.

"Surely you remember the one who you knocked out in battle while he was concentrating on his allies."

As he was talking he slowly slipped his other blade with the tip facing her left leg. In an instant the blade ejected from his hand and stabbed right through her leg. A tiny bit of blood leaked out but not completely, Instead her wound absorbed some of the crystal that was starting to surround her legs, and a bit of the crystal wrapped around her neck started to cover her shoulders and arm. Mizaki then pushed Ruth towards the ground and jumped up. He pointed both of his blades towards Ruth as she lay on the ground motionless and shot a massive amount of crystals towards her, where the ground started to build up and formed a great crystal pillar.

Mizaki landed on the huge pilliar and stabbed onto the top of the pillar, in an instant the pillar shattered into tiny pieces of pebbles and started swirling around Mizaki. "Angel's Defense" the pebbles spinning and swirling around Mizaki soon turned into a sandstorm covering every direction that is visible to Mizaki. Even the storm started to surround the Noah that was still on the ground, disabled from walking or using the right hand.

"You're in my Battlefield and its my advantage."

Mizaki slowly glided up in the air as the pebbles blew him up. He raised both of his blade to hear the pebbles clanging against the crystals, making a sharp noise.

To Ruth, by absorbing the poison from the Crystal earlier. Time seems to be dragging behind her. Everything was slowing down and she seems to be losing focus.

Time seemed to slow down as crystalline substances revolved around her and the exorcist. Dazzling by nature and reflecting the bright Santorini sunshine, Ruth only closed her eyes as she sighed.

"A superb light show I must say.." she spoke without opening her eyelids. Using her left hand she grabbed the handle of her sword Sacrilege and placed the sword's edge by her heart.

With a small incision blood began to flow down from her chest. Flowing, soon turning into a shape of a butterfly. Not long after, a swarm of Ravenous flew out of the incision and surrounded Ruth in the same manner the crystal substances surrounded the exorcist.

The boy could not see clearly through the cloud of blood-red butterflies, using his innocence he destroyed as many of the damned insects as he could, but suddenly stopped as he felt a hand violently grabbing him from behind.

Another set of hands grasped the exorcist's limbs as the victim struggled to free himself from the surprise attacker's hold. A swift blow to the gut caused the boy to spit out blood, as another hand grabbed his neck, attempting to choke him. The exorcist squirmed violently, trying to get a sight of his attackers.

His eyes widened as he saw the faces of the villagers, as they pummeled him to the ground. Their faces and limbs covered with multiple layers of butterfly shaped tattoos, more of the townspeople- men, women, young and old, gathered to join the attack.

"It's nice to have some little Mayhem sometimes," Ruth calmly smirked, as a pair of men helped her up. Brushing off her dress Ruth then began to walk away, followed by numerous Ravenous butterflies, converging behind her back and forming a living cape. Soon enough, the butterflies began to disappear from sight- as did Ruth, leaving the exorcist alone to deal with the mindless mob of the villagers.

Ruth's voice echoed throughout the square. "Let's see you handle this boy..."

Gabriel say atop a nearby building as he watched his sibling create havoc beneath him in the square by taking over the minds of all the villagers..
Large or small, We all do things our own way in the end it seems

Jumping down he landed on the ground with a soft thump and walked over towards Ruth as she left the square after calling something back to the exorcist trapped under the growing pile of Villagers..

"Well dear sister, Looks like the ants haven't learnt much since they last met us..Now that all the funs gone what am I supposed to do now you suppose?"

[Yamamoto]

"Hmm.....you now what? I seemed to have forgotten to ask dear Uncle Earl why we were sent here the first place.." Ruth smiled sheepishly, yet talked in a controlled and manipulative tone- as if she intended to disregard the mission in the first place. Whatever the case, Gabriel only stared blankly.

"Might as well enjoy this sunny weather I suppose? It's not everyday we end up somewhere where we don't get frostbite."

Gracefully stepping down from the roof Ruth and Gabriel wandered around the island, passing by rows of pearl white houses with sky blue rooftops. The smell of the sea wafted upon the two as slowly they left the town square.

Their trek led them outside a small hotel, where a short old man with a large moustache smiled at the two.

"Would you like a room? Discount prices and we offer free tours and trips to the volcanic spas."

Ruth turned her head to the side. "I suppose we could go on a retreat. We don't want to go back to the Earl too soon..."

[Nightvision]

Whatever Mizaki was thinking, wasn't happening outside his head.

Kill them, defend yourself.

But at the same time his body refuses to move in a situation where he has to kill innocent people.

Move!...Move!!

When he body tried to struggle away free and think properly. As his vision started to blur from lack of oxygen, he lost his grip from the townspeople grasping him.

What is there to help me?

Just then he remembered something at last minute. While closing his eyes he concentrated on all his tiny small crystals, as it twirled swiftly the small pieces of the crystals started coming together and wrapping around Mizaki, only this time covering him whole. As his final thoughts came close to him, his concentration became clear and more focused. A few seconds later, the glowing crystals covering Mizaki blew out like an explosion in a bomb. The fierce wind blew everyone that was strangeling Mizaki backwads and towards the wall. Without damage done to them, Mizaki fell on the floor coughing. But his battle wasn't over yet. There was still the mindless villagers that hungers for Mizaki's death.

Preparing his battle stance, he activated his level 2 innocence again. Looks like that last level 2 and a half transformation didn't consume too much energy out of him. But knowing he was outnumbered, he knew he had to find a way to take care of the towns people first.

First thing to look for, something in common.

Ruth leaned over the counter as the owner left the room to find the keys. A guest book with a missing page, the dates from last week torn off.

Strange.

As soon as the manager showed them to their rooms, Ruth couldn't help but notice Gabriel looking out the view. At first glance she thought he was daydreaming but realised that there was a small cloud of steam rising from the sea.

"What is that?"

The waves grew stronger as each wave pounded against the cliffs, crashing boats onto the rocky headlands. A deep rumble could be heard, it felt as if the earth itself was shaking. It was as if something has woken up, rising from beneath the sea.

[Ai]

entering the room Gabriel felt something stirring on the edges of his mind...
Weird...I thought we dealt with those ants..

Going to the window and looking out at the marvelous scenic view in front of him which he quickly dismissed Gabriel looking in the direction of the disturbance...Slowly a small cloud of steam started rising up out of the sea...Not your normal volcano...This rose extremely quickly and suddenly..

"What is that" Questioned his sibling looking over his shoulder...Turning around he shrugged..."I have trouble telling the ants apart from one another...I have no idea sorry"

Continuing to watch the disturbance out at sea the tip of a land mass appeared suddenly out of the ocean rumbling the earth for miles around...steady and surely the new land mass started rising up in the crescent shape the island they were on created with the water around..as this new land mass started rising up Gabriel noticed the rocky shore on the island they were on battered from these new waves had started to slide into the water..

"Sister of mine, It might be prudent for us to obtain transport to that new land mass...Ours currently seems to be sinking"

Turning around he waited to see how his sister would react to this new development.

[Fect]

There sat another presence in the sea. It watched as the crescent shaped island began to regain its former glory, a whole, circular land with a third dark blue volcano. Strange blue markings would glow bright, then retreat back into the land. "It is complete. I stand to guard this land --- this sacred place --- from those who would scar it."

A blue, shimmering power expanded and a ship rose. Its name matched the dock roster. The world seemed silent, and the crew of the ship was gray, including some in tattered finder and exorcist uniforms. Those who were bald had thick lines surrounding their face and scalp, while others had it going up their neck to their eyes. But all had something similar: blue eyes, more pure than even the glimmering water.

"Go forth, my allies, and protect our Victory!"

They wandered onto the shore and attacked a few bystanders, killing them and throwing them into the water. Within minutes, the dead returned, the same as the other people.

He rose to the top of the volcano. "No one will touch my Victory. It will be a day to remember... this is the beginning of the end of this world..."

Even on the brink of exaustion, Mizaki kept his form and fighting stratagy the same pattern the whole time. In his head the repeated steps was said over and over again.

Dodge, dodge, push, kick, dodge ,dodge ,push ,kick.

Everything was calm and easy for him. But there was one thing he noticed out of all of the converts. On their neck and back, there was a small print. After examining it from a nearby attacking villager. Mizaki knew what it was. He immediately deactivated his innocence and pulled out the knife from his back. With a quick swipe, he skinned a tiny part of the neck, where part of the tatto was missing. One by one with many minutes and hours of work. Everyone was finally taken care of. The floor was filled with blood and the air drenched with the smell of blood. Everyone was on the ground motionless. The sky grew dark then, but Mizaki knew that this wasn't something he expected. Cutting innocent people's skin is something he will never want to do.

He cleaned his knife from a villager's shirt and put it back in his pocket. He was tired already from the concentration and movement he had to make. Approaching Dimitri who also let his opponent get away. The finders later showed up with Dimitri.

"The island is sinking."

Mizaki didn't say much but followed Dimitri, where they quickly ran towards their transportation to another island. Everyone was heading towards the port where they have gotten off the boat. There were a bunch of boats where it can only fit 6 people on each one. But the Finders managed to find one that was empty and Mizaki and Dimitri stepped in. Their boat slowly head towards the island that was not shaking. As Mizaki looked back towards the people desperately trying to get off the island. Now as they were far away, Mizaki and Dimitri noticed something.

The other side of the island... Its rising..

Mizaki, Dimitri and the other finders again made a turn towards the rising volcano. Where they finally got off at the island of the rising volcano. Once they stepped on the ground of the wet ground, they saw the dark blue volcano. But what they had not noticed was the other ship nearby.

"We're taking this boat."

Before the sailors could resist a swarm of Ravenous butterflies latched themselves on the sailor's faces as Ruth and Gabriel stepped onto the small watercraft. Ruth meant business, there's no use beating around the bush when you're on a sinking landmass.

The boat sped through the violent waves, under the darkening skies. Smoke billowed out of the rising volcano's crater, yet this was the nearest mass of land for miles.

Gabriel watched on the port side of the boat, eyes fixed onto a rising watercraft with an eerie blue aura. Without hesitation he pushed one of the useless sailors into the water, struggling to keep afloat as he continually gasped for air. Suddenly the same blue aura surrounded his sinking body and he rose back up to the surface- standing on the rocking waves with deep-blue eyes, turning to walk towards the strange ship.

Ruth raised her eyebrow at the strange phenomenon. "Something strange is indeed amiss," she muttered, and gestured the sailor back to the boat. While the Ravenous mark was still on his face, Ruth found it hard to control her minion.

"Figure it out later my dear sister," Gabriel calmly stated. "Let us reach the volcano first."

[Nightvision]

Continuing their pathway up the blue volcano, Mizaki felt a weird presence nearby but couldn't put his finger on it. It was a feeling he never had before. Before preceeding too close to the mouth of the blue lava glowing erupting from the volcano. Mizaki covered his face with his scarf and tightened his glove. Once they have reached the top, there were people dressed in Finder and Exorcist uniform surrounding them. One of them stepped up and looked into the Exorcist's eyes with theirs.

"Nobody shall stand in my way of Victory! Witness my Glory! The world's end!"

Gabriel yawned as he and Ruth made their way up the slope towards the peak of the volcano that had just risen out of the sea where once nothing was. Up ahead of them on the path Gabriel and Ruth stopped at the sight of a group of finders and the exorcist Ruth had dealt with earlier.

"Dear sister, theres seems to be your annoying ant ahead of us again..What is that you think we should do?"

((I did enough long rping in that massive post of mine..:p..Anyway gabriels lazy he'll let others work for him..Also Nightvision Dimitri has still got that paranoia about Akuma and Noah..If he see's either of us he's gonna bolt.))

"What are you a lost puppy?" Ruth raised her eyebrow as she drew her blade Sacrilege.

The exorcist from the battle before readied himself as Ruth grinned. Suddenly, a strong tremor shook the whole landmass as everyone was forced to hang on for their lives.

Gigantic waves formed from the epicentre of the frequent quakes as the sinking island's countdown of doom started. A mass chorus of undecipherable chanting filled the air, as the blue-eyed minions of the deep started to march up the volcano.

"Somehow, I don't think us fighting is the right time!" Mizaki shouted, as he narrowly dodged a small rockslide. Ruth narrowed her eyes as she sighed.

"I guess-.."

Lava burst out of the crater. Caught in between the sapphire army of watery minions and the slowly flowing lava, both the exorcist's side and the two Noah were stuck in a troublesome situation.

"What do you think, my dear brother?"

[Yamamoto]

The sapphire army climbed closer and closer, as Gabriel still did not reply back. What is he, lost in his space again?

Ruth sighed, as volcanic ash floated down. She eyed the other side as she began to shout, at the same time avoiding from inhaling too much toxic fumes.

"Consider yourself lucky boys, but I don't think any of us has the time to engage in battle, shall we make a truce to get these filthy blue creatures out of the way?"

Turning her head without waiting for a reply, she unleashed a swarm of the Ravenous to keep the army at bay. A diversion, you could say, as Ruth fired off a red and black wave- Obsidian Tears- clearing a path downhill.

The minions did nothing too resist, as the butterflies began to seep into their skins, as Ruth attempted to control them with Mayhem.

Let's see if we can turn the tide against them.

Although it may not appear it, the whole task was proving too hard for Ruth. The grip of the sea was proving quite troublesome, as a thunderous voice shook the whole land.

"Nothing shall stand before victory!!"

Another blast erupted as the sky darkened. It was a scene of apocalypse, as the waves pounded against the earth, lightning broke through the sky and lava lit up the peak of the volcano. An ominous, enigmatic glow filled the coast, as the water began to form into a gigantic, humanoid shape. Arms began to form, then the head until lastly, the eyes began to open with a cold, icy stare.

[Ai]

Gabriel snapped out of his day dream to find Ruth struggling against the oncoming army of Blue minions..Vaguely he remembered her shouting something at him...Struggling to remember what it was she said he gave up and surveyed the situation.

yawning loudly he wandered down and stood next to Ruth who was visibly holding the creatures back with her minds powers over them barely..

"You know you look so horrible with such concentration on your face..I thought you were all about slaughter and mayhem not just standing back and watching..?..Cause if you did then where would I be dear sister"

Then without a smile Gabriel concentrated and formed his two clones by his side..Looking at either of them then look at the blue minions ahead of him he grinned..

"A dance oh fellow brothers of mine?"
"Certainly"
"Of course"

Then pulling their swords from their waists the Trio of Gabriel's rushed the lines and started slicing through minions left right and center..Heads flying all the way..

Laughing at the blood that was spurting around an awful blue color Gabriel yelled back over his shoulder at his sister who was still standing there

"ITS LIKE MOWING THE WHEAT DOWN...SO MUCH FUN"

A few minutes later the majority of the front lines of the small advancing army was suitably decimated enough that the rest of the creatures started to turn around and flee back into the water they had risen out of..All the while the Large monster that had risen out of the sea had finally formed it's figure completely..Stepped out of the water it brutally crushed several of the minions as they flew the two Noah siblings and started up the hill towards them.

((Too good for taking over kenzai thankz..:p..I totally forgot..Over to you again..You can have gabriel exhausted now he needs to lie down for a small while to get over such over exertion.)) :p

Mizaki fended off the people who came out of the water with the two Noahs. The finders seems to have ran away to a safe place.

Smart thinking

Mizaki wasn't exausted at all from his battle with the others, in fact he didn't use much of his efforts to fight them off cuz he was too concentrated into being alert with the Noahs. But as something risen high up from the water, his attention went on to that huge figure that stood in front of him now. As he looked up, it's face was hidden in shadows but the eyes was clearly visible glowing icy blue. Activating his level two in a higher energy manner, he ignored the blood stains that was on him and looked up. He made his first move of attacking the giant figure by isolating his feet and disabling him from using it's legs, but it was worthless. The little thin crystal covering can only do as much to let him use it as a protection. Knowing his actions were worthless, Mizaki quickly climbed his way up it's leg, where he stopped around where the kneecap was and went all out on it's knee. The crystal covering was too heavy for the giant figure to handle that it fell on it's knee and hands. It's right hand slammed down on the ground right between Gaberiel and Ruth. Dimitri who has already thought ahead made a static bust around his body and struck the fallen figure to stun him. Mizaki and Dimitri both looked at the two Noahs to tell them that the final blow was to be struck by them.

In fury, the waves began to rise as the creature's eyes glowed a darker shade of blue. It's form began to resemble liquid, as it sinked down to the sea, only to rise on the other side and summon a tidal wave to the unsuspecting lowlifes.

Both the exorcists and the Noah couldn't hold on and were washed away from the volcano, as they were swept by the waters. Now stuck floating in the creature's domain, it roared as a whirlpool began to form where the humans and Noah were.

"Sink to the watery depths...for you will become my servants soon enough..."

[Nightvision]

As Mizaki slowly sunk down, he kept his level 2 innocence active and aimed it beneath him. He was able to stay alive by creating isolating the ice below him, creating another piece of land. The crystal glowed brightly blue as it slowly drifted on the water.

sh*t theres no way to stop this guy.

Mizaki quickly approached Dimitri and saved the other Finders, he never got close to the Noahs but made one platform for Ruth to grab on. Soon enough the whole ground they were stepping on was shining with blue crystal.

Now you're on my land

Mizaki stabbed his sharp blade into the ground as giant crystal pillars appeared on the massive platform they stood on. One by one the the pillars came up and shot up on the ground.

With any kind of water touching my crystal, it would be my advantage to isolate it.

Carefully Mizaki broke two pillars in front of him that became smaller then the tiny piece of pebbles he made earlier. It swirled around him like a hurricane and lifted Mizaki on top of a pillar. The air around him was filled with cold air and the smell of the ocean. Everything was a fog execpt for the eyes of the giant beast. It's eyes glowed more brighter then the pillars. Mizaki only concentrated on the pillars and couldn't move. The rest was up to Dimitri and the Noahs. Once he loses concentration, the whole platform he created would collapse and cause everyone to fall deep into the water. The pillars are prepared to create traps to whenever the giant stumbles across the higher landscapes,

"Tch."

Ruth frowned at the pounding waves as the little exorcist's powers formed a little platform for her to hang on. The monster howled as it sent another shockwave of tsunamis, as Ruth clung on tightly to avoid drowning in the whirlpool.

Even Nicholas wasn't this reckless...

Suddenly she felt a hand grip her wrist. And another. And another.

The blue zombies from before were dragging everyone down to the depths of the sea. Well...trying to anyway, as Ruth let loose another crescent wave of energy, slicing off their putrid blue hands.

The Noah turned around to the crystal exorcist, "What is this one of your damned Innocence's gone wrong?"

Before the exorcist could answer another wave of the blue army grabbed her limbs for a second attempt of drowning her. The deep blue sea began to glow a menacing blue as a finder was dragged down into the centre of the whirlpool- only to emerge as another member of the blue army.

We are damned to be in it's domain...

[Nightvision]

Mizaki glared at her with anger.

"You think this is easy? I'm trying my best to keep us away from the water. What you should be doing right now is to find a way to lead him into my traps so i can absorb the water he releases from his body."

Mizaki concentrated hard and looked at the beast. He still has enough energy to call off a level 3 innocence but it would show his enemy what hes capable of. Giving himself away to the Noahs was something he would never do.

He pulled the cryatal platforms together into one and formed a created a waist level wall to keep out any interference. The crystal platform now holds Ruth, two exorcist and the giant beast that had stood in front of him. But it wasn't enough. Everything Mizaki could do was useless.

What can destroy water? Think....

Their platform slowly drifted towards back towards the volcano. And the pillars surrounding the beast emmited multiple sharp needles that pierced the monstrous figure in every direction.

"Can't you control that thing like you did back in town? I'm sure for a Noah you have powerful techniques up your sleeves."

With a sigh giving up his urge to hold in his innocence level three. With the thought of survival and hope in his head a few of the pillars bursted into tiny dusts and surrounded Mizaki, where his level 3 formed right in front of the Noah. The Light of his innocence shimmered with a burst lbrightness that blinded almost everything for a split second. Holding the white blade, Mizaki thinks about his level one innocence, and his blade changes a bright red color. The blade whirred in vibration as the innocene shards created in the sword moves faster and faster every quick second. Mizaki lunged at the beast and stabbed with all his might towards the head. As the blade and it's head met, the sound of something burning was to be heard.

The creatured roared as he smashed it's giant arm into the ocean once again, creating an ever bigger whirlpool. The army from below howled louder as their attempts to reach and drag those still afloat were faster and more effective.

"How dare you? You think I wasn't thinking of a plan all this time?" Ruth frowned, as she glared at the exorcist.

Ruth then began to stand up as she released a new swarm of the Ravenous.

"I'll tell you one thing...it is possible for me to take control. The problem is, there is just not enough of my minions."

"And...?" Mizaki lifted his eyebrow, at the same time trying to avoid being dragged to the depths of the sea.

"Consider this a fair trade-off...you revealed a new ability, I will bring to light one of mine," Ruth pointed her sword adjacent to the exorcist's neck. "My blade hungers for more blood to create more of the Ravenous I need to take control. All I need now, is just a few drops of you and your partner's blood."

"A-are you crazy!?!" the exorcist shouted. "How can I trust you and be sure you won't kill me on the spot?!"

"Make your choice boy," Ruth sustained a stern face. The vortex of water started to swallow another finder and add to the creature's army. "After all...this is your call."

Quickly there's not much time, make a decision fast

Mizaki then gave a look at Dimitri who was fending off the hands that was pulling him down. He heard their conversation but ignored it pretending that he didn't hear the part about using his blood as well. Mizaki then turned his head back to Ruth.

"Fine.....Use my blood."

He raised his arm at Ruth where she could see the blood dripping.

"I won't let Dimitri involved, he will be watching over both of us."

Mizaki's red blade shimmered in light as he was almost reaching his limits. The whip on his left hand seems to be still and motionless. The wavey lines behind him wanted to protect him, but didn't sense any hostile thoughts in his head as Ruth approached him. With his lifted arm, Mizaki stared into Ruth's forehead where the symbol of the Noah are located.

I'd rather die then to become a slave of some beast...

Gabriel floated in the water on his back watching as Ruth drew blood out of the exorcists neck onto her sword.

So you show a new talent sister..You shouldn't do such a thing it encourages them to think themselves important to us

He thought as he looked around and spied a piece of wood..grabbing onto it he paddled towards the small piece of land and hoisted himself up onto it and looked down in disgust at his sopping wet clothes..

"Someones going to pay for this" He muttered darkly at his ruined attire.

Looking up at the beast which was obviously about to launch a massive attack at his sister and the exorcist as she was still preparing her new talent Gabriel noticed that she probably wouldn't have time.

"I can't believe I'm about to save one of them..Again.."

Swearing under his breath that he would need to balance out his ethical dilemma fairly soon he drew out his sword and changed it full of a large electrical pulse until it literally gleamed with energy.

taking a step back he raised his arm above his head and flung the sword full power at the beast head area. Impacting into the creature the sword released all the pent up energy and the creature stopped its attack it was about to perform and with a mighty roar reached up to where the sword had gone in as if trying to deaden the pain of the charge..

Looking across at Ruth Gabriel could see he had brought her the time that she required.

Finish it please..I'm having ethical difficulties as to why I saved the ant next to you at the moment and want to Correct them without the hassle of this creature.

He sent to Ruth as he found a stone to sit and watch the events.

Another drop.

Another set of scarlet wings.

Ruth's 'patient' maintained a strong will, refusing to let the loss of blood let him faint. At least, not in the eyes of a Noah in the middle of the ocean. He felt no pain, but was fully aware of how much blood he was losing.

Ruth smiled slightly, "You see, this is what happens when you try to be a hero and let only your blood be taken." The exorcist glared back, but found no malicious intent nor an evil smile.

Then again, if Ruth was so easy to read- there wouldn't be as much fun.

As the last drop of blood needed in the procedure transformed into a glowing red butterfly, Ruth closed the incision in his arm as a blood red flower bloomed.

"Not very manly, but it should stop you from bleeding dry so soon," Ruth muttered, as she turned to face the blue beast and his watery minions. As the ocean breeze lifted her hair, she raised her hands like an ascending angel, as her new swarm of Ravenous butterflies rose and flew towards the ocean's army.

"Go have your fun my children."

The red cloud of the Ravenous furiously attacked the watery soldiers, as they lost grip of the platforms, trying to fight the brood out of their faces. The insect's sharp teeth continuously grazed and chewed through their sapphire skin, as other butterflies quickly latched onto their bodies, forming countless layers of butterfly tattoos.

Clearly the army were being outnumbered, as they wailed and cried from the constant pain which accompanied their dreaded afterlife. They may seem immortal, but they will continually suffer.

Ruth grinned as she silently blurted out a word. Without hesitation the members of the ocean's army stopped and turned around to the watery creature. She had full control now, thanks to the countless layers of tattoos from her new brood born from the exorcist's blood.

Turning to a nearby rock where her brother sat and watched Ruth narrowed her eyes, as she turned her focus back to the monster.

"Attack."

From the loss of blood Mizaki has lost half of his concentration. The platform they now stood on is starting to collapse and weaken. As he saw the swarm of butterflies control the mindless zombies and they started attacking the giant beast that stood there. Once the mass got close to the monster, it slashed a few of them off the platform. But more got closer and started climbing on him. Water from the sea started to come up and wash them off but it was useless.

Once Mizaki, and Ruth made their way onto land. Mizaki made the final move where he placed his hand on the platform. The collapsing crystal platform and the pillars he made earlier became red. The heat of the crystal was so hot that the water below started boiling. The beast who once stood on the platform slowly melted away and condensed into air as it tried to melt into water and run away. A few minutes later where the platform use to be now was nothing but steam going towards the sky.

Mizaki sat down and lie down on his back. With his innocence deactivated, he pointed his burnt index finger at Ruth.

"If i wasn't here you would've taken care of the situation another way."

Dimitri had already jumped off before the two did and went off to investigate the volcano .

Breathing heavily Mizaki struggled to keep himself stand up. He sat on a rock nearby and put the white gloves on his left hand.

"I'm weak and lost most of my concentration on my innocence. You're a Noah and since that thing is gone are you going to take your chance and take my life now?"

Mizaki laughed to himself.

"One little ant out of the way."

[Ai]

Gabriel stood up and walked over to the Half dead Exorcist sitting on the rock from all the blood loss that Ruth had taken from him as he heard the final sentence.

"Now that isn't entirely accurate ant boy, My sister dear here could have killed you extremely easily when she was gathering that attack. Why she didn't is beyond me, Personally I would have taken everything you offered. But then again lucky for you I don't attack based on such..Icky things.."

He said shuddering as he thought of Ruths method of attacks. Composing himself he studied the exorcist who finding himself being stood over by two noah in his weakened state obviously thought his ending was coming to an end.

How nice that would be

Gabriel thought as he could almost imagine that rush that an exorcists death would deal upon him. However he had long ago schooled himself with disicpline to avoid slaughtering everyone he met and tasting their deaths. After all something so good only stayed good as long as it was taken sparingly.

Turning his attentions back to the shivering and exhausted Exorcist below him on the rock Gabriel stretched his arms and popped his joints as he himself fully recovered from his little soujorn that he was forced to have in the water..Really he had found himself taking too much effort lately Killing someone when your not feeling up to it really didn't make itself an appealing idea to Gabriel.

"Sister dear, We've already dealt with the other exorcist and he won't be coming near us for the rest of our time here..And this one here already looks half dead. What do you say we find out what the earl sent us here for and get out of here before I have to work anymore..I think i'm getting some wrinkles"

Then to the exorcist.

"Ant, My disliek for your kind is something you probably already know. That I like causing chaos is also one of my pleasures..But just because we find our opinions clashing doesn't mean we're not both looking for the same thing."

Then without another word to either his sibling or the exorcist Gabriel stuck his hands in his coat and started walking up the volcano side to a lava vent cave he could see up the side. Whatever they wanted was bound to be inside the volcano itself and having just erupted he doubted that it would do so again at the present time.

((Ruth should totally come with me so I can be slack..:p...@Mizaki/Nightvision you can make your character do what you want..But if you come to Gabriel again he'll have to hurt you..;)))

Ruth stared at the exorcist for a slight moment, as she turned away.

Gabriel eyed her as she passed him by. "Is that all? You're not going to do anything?" he grinned.

"What I do is my own business, Gabriel dear," she smiled back, as her blade disintegrated, turning back into a small swarm of the Ravenous. Standing at the edge of a cliff, Ruth noticed a small spot with the same eerie glow as before.

"Whatever is happening my dear brother, I can bet that something down there is what's causing it. Care for a dive?"

Gabriel sat on a nearby rock as he politely declined.

"Whatever suits you," Ruth rolled her eyes, as she stretched her arms wide, taking the leap of faith down the cliff towards the glowing blue lagoon. Hopefully she won't dive straight into the sharp rocks below.

Under the deep abyss that was the sea, Ruth could feel the spirits of the deep trying to drag her down. Like vengeful hands waiting to crushher neck, the pressure underwater proved uncomfortable even for a being of the Noah clan.

Yet strangely...she could breathe. What was this strange occurence?

The skeletons of sunken soldiers and gigantic, wooden ships rested among the cold rocks of the deep. With tattered clothes, the victims of the ocean stayed suspended in the dark void that was the abyss. Mere skeletons, yet she could feel dead eyes staring down at her in the sunken graveyard.

The presence was strong- a glowing blue beacon in the dark abyss. Bluer than the sea itself, its light illuminated what was supposed to be a dark, forsaken deep.

What power...perhaps the Earl should take a look at this...

A perpetual azure glow resonated within the strange artifact. Just touching it, Ruth could feel unimaginable power flowing through her veins- rushing throughout her body, yet cold as ice.

For a moment, Ruth stayed in the suspended state of the sudden surge of power. Her hair drifting by the current as she marvelled even at the small fact she could breath in a place so deep. She stayed in this meditative state until she realised her brother was still up above land. Staring upwards to the surface she swam, until her head popped out of the waves.

Dripping wet, Ruth walked towards the shore, to find her brother sitting by the rocks giving a dry smile.

"Looks like someone had fun. What's that?"

"A little treasure I'm sure Uncle Earl would like to investigate."

As soon as she stepped out of the water the mysterious blue glow surrounding the lagoon disappeared, mirroring the clear blue sky. Ruth looked back at the ocean, as the sound of crashing waves echoed throughout the cliffs.

Opening the portal out of the area Gabriel turned to Ruth. "Shall we go?"
