Mt. Olympus

The Earth shakes. The sky splits. The farmers around the countryside fear the return of the Titans. People in the Scandinavian peninsula fear Ragnarok. Whispers of Pandora’s Box have shadowed the land. A great serpent has supposedly been seen, illusions of a time passed? Or of a time yet to come?

Finders were sent to the peak, but few have returned. Some returned charred, others infatuated with the mountain, wanting to return. Others lusting for power, and some others wanting the Chaos and Void to leave them.

Two other Exorcists were dispatched. But where they have gone? They have fallen out of contact with the Order. Find them, bring them back. Or at least find out what’s happening in the skies above the world.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reever is handed a file by a subordinate. He takes a quick glance, then his eyes widen. They become larger and larger. He then puts the papers down, walking back to his desk. He writes in his journal. As an exorcist walks by, they are slipped the book into their packs.

He makes a call to Komui, starting with: “The Second Arrival is near.”

Jindori stepped out the order doors, not looking back he went foward. It would never feel like home for Jindori. The ocean is what he loved and what he lived for, when the war was over he was going to buy a boat and sail the seven seas by himself. Jindori knew that the Mountain was going to be dangerous and was probally going to be something about noah. Well that was his conclusion anyway. Jindori got on the bridge and waited. He hated being too early or too late.

The train took about 30 minutes to arrive. He took a deep breath and jumped landing perfectly on top of the train. He slowly moved across the train until he was on the back carridge. He grabbed the edge of the train and swung himself in. There was a nice five star carridge waiting for him. Jindori jumped on the bed and fell asleep. He was dreaming about what his level two innocence would look like. Maybe it would be a double ended pike, maybe it could have a million blades comming out of it or it could turn into a giant golem and it would do the fighting for him. He had so many wacky ideas it would take a life time to name them all.

The train hit a major bump, knocking Jindori off and onto the ground. Jindori woke up with a headache. He was nearly at the port., He decided to go through to the same port but was going to take a different route. So he could get there faster. Jindori checked the boat scheldues there was one leaving at one thirty pm. Jindori checked his watch there was three hours left. He looked at the bar and grinned. I wonder if they still serve ginger beer He thought to himself as he slowly walked towards it.

Komui stated he sent off one of the new recruits in this same mission a while before- perhaps we should meet him?

Jean stared at the window of the carriage, as the spirit in his Innocence- Joan, tried for some light-hearted conversation within his mind.

I wonder how cute he is...

"Oh please, even if he was that cute it's not like you could go out with him," Jean finally broke out with a smile- his first for quite a long time.

"You seem to be awfully quiet nowadays.."

"Do I need a reason?"

"Usually there is.."

"I thought you would know. You're my innocence."

"Yet alas I'm not a mind reader. Lucky too- being stuck with a guy, who knows what thoughts would be circling in his head."

Jean's eyes narrowed as he turned his head towards the window again.

"I'm not like other guys."

Anderson lumbered towards the encampment. It was hard NOT to notice the tall priest, as he smiled and waved at the passing people in the streets.

"Ye should put yer magic closer to where ye need me," Anderson thought.

Seeing a carriage go by, it stopped for him. "Need a ride?" Asked a young noble couple.

"Ay, but ye is too gracious, I will walk to be where I be," he replied.

The carriage moved along, and the town kept walking. Akuma seemed to be watching him as he went by... with suspicion and adoration.

At the Base of Mt. Olympus

Serenade, after stretching, leaned back on the mid-sized boulder and quietly yawned.
It had been two days since they were last in Paris, one day since Komui contacted them with another assignment.

“Just put it off until this mission is over~” the Supervisor responded when his partner reminded him over the phone that they were already booked with a different mission on top of a recent job request from a new client. Being a mercenary wasn't all fun and games, after all. “It’s on the way there. Why not drop off whatever you’re supposed to drop off and then go to the mission?” Komui insisted.

And now here they were at Mt. Olympus.

Serenade glanced over at Shinju whom was talking with the birds again – this time it was an eagle that lived nearby.

He didn’t know if she knew it herself, but during the time that he had been with her Shinju’s taste in animals had changed. Two years ago she would be talking with the bunnies, the deer, and the defenseless fish, whereas now she would rather hang out with the leopards, the hawks, and the wolves.
When he prompted a minor question the year before, she replied that the predatory animals were “a bit more interesting to talk to.”
Having never talked to the wildlife before, even his original form, Serenade wondered if this was true.

Shinju reached into her backpack and took out a medium-sized slab of meat, which was then promptly snatched by the eagle and devoured in seconds. “Take good care of your chicks,” she whispered. The eagle ruffled its feathers as though saying “Of course I will. You don’t need to remind me about that.” The girl chuckled as it took off.

Returning to his side, Shinju leaned back on the boulder with him. “So,” he began, “how’d it go?”

“Pretty good, I guess,” she replied. “Unfortunately, it seems that Komui and Reever were right in their presumptions – all of the animals within this area are agitated by it enough to start moving to a different location.”

“What about that eagle that you were talking to?”

She shook her head. “She has a few chicks to tend to, so she’ll be staying in the area at least until they can fly.”

Serenade mulled over this for a bit before pushing himself off the ground. Turning around, he faced her with his hand extended.

“Well I’m gonna go ahead and take a look around this here mountain. Will my dragonswan be accompanying me, or will she stay behind and wait for the ever-so-slow humans?”

Putting on an accent, he declared it with so much gusto that Shinju found herself giggling.
Only with her he would play around, only with her that he would act this way, and she loved it.

Taking his extended hand, the pair began their ascent.

The Path to Mt. Olympus

Jean had flashed his emblem to the guard- signaling he was part of the Order. A young nervous finder- barely in his teens welcomed him and showed him to the horses as they began their journey on foot towards the legendary Mt. Olympus.

So young...are they running out of Finders?

Jean was scattered in his thoughts for most of the journey, until the Finder finally remembered to introduce himself.

"Oh I'm sorry Mr. Exorcist, the name's Aleister. Pleasure to meet one of you in my first mission," he smiled, as the shining Mediterranean sun showered them with golden sunlight.

"Call me Jean," Jean smiled back. "Your first? How new are you?"

"I've been with the Order for a few months now, working in the Greek Branch. This is only my first real assignment outside the place."

The scent of olives wafted along their path, as a young local boy ran towards the house to the left, his mouth tingling with the aroma of his Nana's famous homemade Souvlaki. Jean couldn't help but notice Aleister's eyes, with a hint of regret and a dash of envy at the sight of a child about the same age living a life so simple and basic.

Jean looked up to the clear azure skies with the occasional cloud. "Well, better make the most of this trip then Aleister, from the sounds of it, you've been stuck in an office job for way too long."

Aleister's head turned away from the house and down to the ground.

"Yes, sir."

Jindori had been drinking ginger beer for the past two hours. The waitress walked up too Jindori and handed him the tab. the ginger beer spurted through his nose. "Two hundread pounds for like ten ginger beers thats a rip off." Jindori argued. "Well try times that by ten and you got your amount of ginger beer." The waitress replied. Jindori put a five hundread pound note on the table. "Can i have the change, oh what time is it anyway." Jindori asked "Well it's two thirty sir." The waiter sighed. "S*** i'm late keep the change I'm out of here." Jindori replied as he bolted out the pub. Jindori ran to a luxary ship it was the only ship going to his destination.

Jindori laughed as he wrote out a check, I don't think Komui well mind if i borrow his name and his bank acount details for a mission. Jindori gave the check to the ticket man and walked into the five star boat. The food they offered looked delicious unfourtnly all he had was check book. So with the check book and Komui full name he ordered the most expensive meals on the ship for breakfeast lunch and dinner including dessert.
He walked to the cabin his grand total was two thousand, three hundread and twenty six pounds were spent in total.

Jindori went to his cabin and hung up his coat hiding it in the back of closet. For the remainder of the trip he was not an exorcist he was a sailor on a boat in the open sea. He locked the cabin door and walked to the deck.

Leaving BO HQ

Leaving Komui's office Joshua headed toward the exit Joshua sees Martosu just opening the door to leave. "Hey!, hey wait up" Joshua says as he half runs half trots over to Martosu. Scratching the back of his head and looking at his shoes "hey sorry about the what happened back in the training room I kinda lost it. So where you headed, I gotta get out of here before these guys decide to convert me" Joshua said look back up

"Oh? So you just think an apology will just wash it away? But.... if you must know I'm just going down south, since there is no real reason for me to go else ware. But then there is no reason for me to even there." Martosu said frowning.

Not letting this phase him he held up the envelope that he received in Komui's office "well I heard that there was akuma activity in Athens you happen to be headed in that direction?"

Martosu eyed the paper disdanfully, "What would I care about some Akuma? And even you are able enough to take care of them."

Joshua trying to be polite but failing horrably "look man I was givin you some info if you don't want it don't take it but don't give shit ok. I was going to pass this along to make up for flippin out back there, and I am pretty sure what ever is going on over there is more then just Akuma, I heard the announcement when I left the training room, so I when and saw for my self. But if you don't want the info it's no sweat off my ass"

Martosu sighed before walking foward and ripped the papers out of Joshua's hand. Ignoring Joshua, he leafed through the papers before tossing them at Joshua's chest, "Fine, I'll go along to take care of whatever crap is going on down there." He turned around and stalked away, leaving Joshua to say or follow.

"look man you seriously have an attitude problem, look lets just get there ok, then you can do what ever the hell you want, cause I don't want to inconvenience you" Joshua says as he puts the evelope in his bag.

Martosu stopped walking and turned to look at Joshua, "Oh no, your words really do wound me. As if I could forget about how you would be affected by my attitude, " he called out in a sarcastic tone. Martosu then looked at Joshua impassively, "At least you acknowledged yourself as an inconvenience. So.... are we going to continue this little discussion or move on down south?"

"what ever look I am not going to waist my time arguing with you so lets just get to the shore so we can get the hell out of here..." Joshua says as he puts his bag back on and head toward the ship.

Suddenly a femail voice from behind him says "hey your getting on the wrong ship Komui gave you the wrong orders" Lorraine says panting "he sent me to give you these" handing him another evelope.

Joshua shakes his head "lets just get on the boat" getting on the right boat

Reaching the base of the mountain, there sat all the pretty exorcist helpers lined up in a row. It was a shame he couldn't do anything about them.

Picking up a pebble, he began tossing it up into the air, and catching it when it fell.

Who is looking for a fight I wonder?

Dropping the rock, he picked up a small dove-like feather.

Seems... we will need to go. And hurry. The old Gods have reawakened, maybe.

Mizaki later arrived at the port where the ship was about to leave soon. Just as he approached the ship, he heard 2 familar voices. As he turned around he saw Joshua, Martosu and Lorraine.

Hmm...who knew Komui would send all of them to this mission.

He made his way towards Joshua and greeted himself with just a wave. There isn't much to talk about but at least he can enter the ship not being alone.

"lets just get on the boat"

After that Mizaki tagged along with Joshua the whole way.

((Due to the Abbey arc being a bit more active, I think I'll join this one ^^. I'll do my best to stay covert and discreet :3))

A couple of weeks ago, Russian/Ukrainian border

Rave chewed absentmindedly on an apple, ignoring the crowd about him. Things weren't going very well. For the entire time since Jade vanished, Rave was keeping to himself and being very lax. He's not had a proper fight in a while, and even his training were very uninteresting. He felt he lost a part of what kept him a fighter. There was no meaning, no wish to fight.

Zenryu kept quiet as well, seemingly deep in thought. Rave himself had no intention of talking to her just yet, not before he sorted himself out. He realized just how much Jade was what kept him moving, gave him meaning. Now that she's suddenly disappeared inexplicably, he could not find it in him to drive him forward. Rivalries and hostilities seemed so pointless now...

He wondered to himself for a moment whether this was what the people who were fooled by Earl thought. Was this despair? This pointlessness, this feeling that he needed a person just to feel alive again, was it what made the Earl so powerful? The more he thought about it the more he felt helpless and useless. It was just pointless delays, like a hallway full of balloons. But the more he thought about it and remembered Jade's beautiful eyes and figure, the more he thought that he was doing just the thing that would piss her off. If she saw him not doing a thing, just ignoring everything, she'd try to kill him.

Was he just trying to make her mad, to make her return and smack him on the head for being useless? The thought slightly irritated him, but he was so depressed by then anger seemed to be utterly useless. He let out a slow breath of air and looked at the eaten apple. His arm tensed and it broke between his fingers, wetting his fingers with apple juice. It was so useless!

He turned and leaned heavily on his "cane", which was in fact his sword wrapped in a cloth. He now pretended he was a cripple, using it to make people either avoid him or be more open to suggestions. Truly, it was easier to fool everyone when you appeared to need a support while walking. He made his way towards the train. After China, he needed some European environment... and perhaps something to at least temporarily push the memory of Jade away.

A couple of days later, a train leading to a harbor...

The train passed through a mountain, cutting through the morning mist and bathing in the morning sunlight. Inside it, the residents were just waking up, and on it... if a bird were flying above and had the necessary mental capacity to comprehend this was strange, it would be very shocked indeed; for on the train's roof appeared to be a white blanket. A closer look showed it was nailed to the roof, and there was someone under it, lying flat on his back.

Rave's hair rippled slightly in the wind as his eyes fluttered open from the rays of sunshine. He looked backwards, and making sure there was nothing behind him, sat up. As the train continued to speed froward, oblivious to the person using it without permission, Rave brushed his teeth and put on his newly acquired overcoat. Some foam escaped from his mouth and flew far away in the wind, and Rave grinned slightly. Maybe life was some fun after all... he heard Italy was beautiful this time of the year. He planned to go to Venice, and enjoy some time there - he heard they had the best prostitutes in Italy.

That will have to be put on hold. He was surprised to hear Zenryu suddenly speak after so long.

"Why not?" His voice was almost silenced by the wind, but Zenryu didn't need to hear him.

Because there are trouble in Greece. Get on the first ship there.

"Why-?" Silence. Zenryu kept silent and Rave had no saying in the matter - it was that or have her nag endlessly. Beside, he decided to himself, he would perhaps find meaning in saving others.

The train continued speeding and passed the empty station, not noticing something that dropped off it. A loud THUD alerted the attendants, who quickly came to check what's happened. To their shock, the platform was bend and scarred by something that looked like clawed feet which grabbed the metal and stone structure, twisted it, and then continued walking. A few steps later they looked like normal feet and then vanished.

The attendants - three bland faced men - shrugged and called the cleaner. They really didn't care at this hour.

Present time, one day before everyone arrived at the mountain

Rave lounged in a chair, his coat hanging on a stand nearby and with his shirt off. He had three scars on his left chest. It was as though some great animal clawed him there. He took a sip of the fine wine in the glass he held in his right hand. He was a sight to see; muscles finely toned, but not very large, they gave the impression of an athlete.

"Where did you get those, honey?" A woman lounged in the four-poster bed beside him. Shapely and beautiful, with long curly dark hair, she provided a nice distraction for the night. Rave smiled at her.

"A bear... I was out in the bamboo woods in China when a large bear attacked me. I escaped by the skin of my teeth - it, however, was not so lucky."

"Ooh, a bear? Tell me all about it..." by the end of the sentence her eyelids dropped slightly and her voice became husky and inviting. Rave's smile twisted and he moved to the bed, his bare feet barely making a noise on the carpeted floor.

When he woke up later, he felt something was distinctly wrong. She was asleep, and he ignored her, and then he looked out of the window. To his eyes, something was moving across reality itself. He had no idea what, but Zenryu was clearly troubled. She was sitting on the window frame, her eyes fixated on mount Olympus.

Go there, Rave.

He shrugged and dressed quickly. He could come and go as he pleased, after all, he paid for this room - and the women - for another three weeks, and as the owner said, grinning slyly at the coins clinking on the table before him, "what you paid for you own... good sir". He walked out, waved to the attractive receptionist, and quickly made his way towards the mountain, hopping easily around. He entered a clothes shop, deciding he needed a disguise, and bought himself a large-brimmed black hat, and a black riding cloak. The store owner kept mumbling about strange occurrences but could not explain what really was the problem.

He did manage to get the location of a stable from him, and made his way there. The stable was a large stone building, stinking of horses, but only had one horse in it, a large black steed with obviously a fiery temper. Rave looked at it then turned to the aged seller.

"How much for the horse?"

"Three hundred gold. Pay it or leave it."

The coins clanked on the rickety wooden table and Rave made his way to the horse, putting a hand on its nuzzle. The horse, feeling a sure hand and Rave's confidence, relaxed, letting its ears drop. Suddenly, a sharp noise from behind made it snarl, and Rave turned slightly to regard the origin of that sound. Four burly men, led by an even burlier man, stood in the entrance, giggling like only drunkards could. The stench from them made Rave almost dizzy.

"What do you lot want?" The old seller looked at them with a disdainful eye, his voice creaky and sharp.

"We wan' that horsie, ol' man," replied one of them.

"I told you, three hundred gold, or bugger off! You don't have a tenth of that. And it's sold already anyway!"

"Huuuuh? To this darky? Lis'n 'ere, you take your hands off ma horsie and I let ya keep 'em... unbroken."

Rave ignored them and put a hand on the bridle, pulling the horse after him. The five seemed to fume, if their red faces were any indication. The leader stepped forward, presumably to start a brawl, but a menacing clicking sound to the side warned them that the old man wasn't to be taken lightly. He pulled out a rifle from under the table and pointed it at the fat man, while his eyebrows knotted together. Rave recognized the model; these were an old design that was still used by the Prussian military for their cavalry. For this guy to have it...

"Listen here, you young punks! No one harasses my costumers! Especially the kind to whom I owe my life!"

Rave's eyes widened slightly. He had no idea what this old man was babbling about, but he remained stationary, not willing to start anything without knowing what was going on here. The five thugs were apparently less tactful and one of them who hung to the back until now, with long knotty and greasy hair and a stubble on his face that indicates that the only time he cut it was when someone else tried to behead him stepped forward, brandishing a knife. He grinned with yellow teeth and lifted it up, ready to stab.

"I do not know what is going on here," interjected Rave, not yet willing to let any of them lose their life, "but I should very much like to mention that you gentlemen smell so awful the horse is nauseating, so I would like to request that you bathe."

The knotty-haired man turned on him with such a growl that Rave wondered if he hit a nerve. He was surprised to see that the man knew how to handle a knife, holding it to his side and stabbing low. Unfortunately for him, Rave had a longer knife and Zenryu's sheathe smacked into the man's wrist, making him drop the knife. At that moment the old man smacked the wooden shaft of the rifle into another man's crotch, then slammed him in the face. Rave stepped forward and kicked his man in the face, breaking his nose, then slapped him on the back of the head.

The man stumbled forward and met the steed's hoof in his forehead, just when the old man fired a bullet into the biggest man's knee. The three who could stand ran away as fast at they could, the man with the shot knee limping behind them as quickly as he could.

"Sir, I should like to know..."

"Don'cha remember, Rave? You were in Germany a while ago... you destroyed those monsters there, remember?" Rave did not remember seeing an old man, but it hardly mattered.

"I see... if you feel you owe me your life, it is fine. I should get on my way."

As he left the old man behind, he wondered how many more people he affected like that, without even knowing. Was it not possible that this was his legacy? He hated to think that he would start doing something just for the sake of this knowledge. He wanted a reward of some sort. Something substantial so he would know he did good. With a sigh, he got on the horse and prodded it to gallop.

It occurred to him that he learned to ride a horse with Holmes, in the old man's honey-farm in Wessex. If the old man wasn't so adamant about Rave knowing every possibly aristocratic skill...

As he neared the mountain, he noted that things were very strange about it indeed. He felt... heavy. Dark.

Present day

Rave put out the small fire he set up for his nightly camp. His horse was casually eating some hard-grown grass near him. He filled his lungs with the morning air and exhaled. At least here, it was quiet and peaceful.

((Rave is right now near Shinju and Serenade))

Anderson walked through the camp, then headed eastward. A few slivers of smoke came from over a hill. He saw a young man putting out the flames. Walking down there, he smiled and waved, somewhat unnoticed by the man with the cloth-covered rod.

"What are ye doing down here, my son?" The priestly figure asked.

His coat jangled a little from all the blades he brought with him from the camp as he descended the hill. Rave seemed to note this, but Anderson did not care what the man was worried about or whispering about.

"Climbing a Mountain," Rave let out calmly.

"But yonder are many men wandering upon this rock of God. Why do ye choose to go?" Anderson calmly questioned.

"Merely a feeling and a calling," Rave shrugged.

"Careful, as ye who climb the tallest mountains laugh at all yer tragic plays and things," Anderson warned. "Although, I be in a mood for some company to the top. Would ye mind giving me a hand?"

Lorraine managed to get Joshua in time. He was not alone since an annoyed Martosu and Mizaki were with him. Apparently Joshua got a hold of his Innocence and now was back to normal. After giving the envelope to Joshua she followed the trio inside the boat. She kept to herself but from time to time she took a look a Joshua he seemed a bit frustrated but playing the nice girl might not be the best at the moment. Still she didn’t wanted to let him close he need to deal with his past or he wont be able to acknowledge his Innocence properly. Since she needed to talk to Joshua about the new mission she tapped his shoulder and said.

“Come with me to the dinning room we need to talk about the mission.”

Joshua eyed her and saw that she wasn’t waiting for him. He followed her and soon they were sitting next to the window. On the bar they spotted Jindori who tried to look like a normal person but failed since his manners got him on trouble. Feeling a bit tired Lorraine took another envelope and opens it not giving too much attention to Jindori. She will talk to him later. After reading the mission she shared the information with Joshua who still stared at her.

“Any questions?” said Lorraine after finishing the debrief.
“Yes, why are you doing this?” asked Joshua almost spitting the words out.
“Doing what?” asked Lorraine frowing.
“Helping me being nice. You don’t have to be like that and yet you…”
“Let’s see one you are not as tough as you seemed. You suffered and you are lost you don’t know what’s going on. So now that you have part of the information you still throw yourself to the lions without a care. I believed in all the people that carries a part of God. The innocence whether the people like it or not makes us brothers and sisters of the Lord and I’m not going to commit the same mistake I made in the past. So either you stop and think or I will follow you till you learn how to use it.”

Joshua took a look at Lorraine her face not the same softness as he saw before. Steel fire and angry? Her stance all her body spell a chaotic war. But it only lasted for a few seconds before her peaceful aura returned. A silence fell and Lorraine put the hood on and left the table but before she went out of the place she said.

“The trip will take a few hours since you want so much to waste your life I recommend you to rest and eat well. You will need your strength when we arrive to the mountain. Until then I will be around if you need anything let me know.” And she left.
Going outside to breathe some air was her priority. She went to the lonely part of the boat and took a deep breath. The water the salt on the air the slow movement took a hold on her and slowly eases her tension away. She recognized loosing her temper back then. Something that didn’t happened since a long time ago. Not even Rashar on her worst had managed to get her anger out. Perhaps she is getting old for this missions, maybe is time to fulfill the mission that brought her back into the Order to then retreat on her isolation. Near her she noticed Martosu and Mizaki the apparently didn’t acknowledge her presence but she decided to manage one kid at the time. Right now Joshua needed all the help he could get but she wasn’t going to give it on the palm of his hand. She first needed to win his trust and that was going to prove to be a mission aside from the main one. Since last time she failed to do that death was the only thing left on the ground.

Lounging in a less crowed area of the boat with Mizaki, Martosu narrowed his eyes when he noticed Lorainne enter the room. "Of course, she just had to come along to complete this lovely reunion," Martosu said snidely before standing up and walked over to her.

Leaning against the wall next to her he spoke, "What is with you? Really, what is it to you if someone you have no relation to decides to go on a self-destructive path? It's not as if they are dragging you along." Lorraine closed her eyes before facing him, "Since we are all brothers and sisters of the Lord-" she began before Martosu cut her off. "So that's it? Your just going to say the same crap over and over? How about you.." he started before pushing himself off of the wall, "Just stay out of my business."

As he took a step away from Lorraine, she spoke, "Unless you initiate the conversation, Martosu, I will leave you be. Well, except to save you from your own stupidity." Ignoring how she insinuated that he was being stupid, Martosu stalked off with a sigh.

Please, what the hell would she know about my situation? Sitting around in some stuffed monastery for the majority of her life, then she comes out into the real world spouting off like she knows a damn thing.... so irritating.

Reaching the railing lining the boat, Martosu leaned on it on his elbow while watching the island appear to grow as the boat neared it. "Really, what is the point in any of this if we are all just going to die sometime?," he muttered to himself.

The Foot of Mt. Olympus

"Here we are sir," Aleister looked up to the famed Mt. Olympus- said to be where the gods of Greece reside.

Who could blame the people for having these thoughts? Jean stared at the towering mountain where the roaring thunder echoed across its peak. Sparks materialised from Jean's hand as like a mountaineer determined to reach the top, Jean was ready to go.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay here where it's safe?" Jean turned to the young Finder.

"No sir. It is my job to accompany you. Please don't treat me like a child."

"But you are a child," Jean raised his eyebrow, sighing at his defeat. He soon learned that young finders can be so stubborn.

The roaring winds raged across the cliffs as the two made their way uphill. It was if the zephyrs themselves were stopping Jean from entering the gods' domain, warning them of consequences if they continued. This didn't stop Jean, a light breeze would not stop him from his job.

The wind is chilling...and a bit dark... Joan's voice resounded in Jean's head, strangely with a hint of fear.

It's not like you to be afraid. You were the tomboy.

Even tomboys act like girls..

AAAAGGGHHH!!!

Jean turned around to see Aleister's hand grasping desperately at the edge of the cliff. The winds were getting stronger, as it caused the young Finder to lose his balance. This was no normal wind.

Jean reached out for his hand, at the same time holding on to a nearby rock to prevent the same ordeal happening to him. The raging winds seem to work against his favor, opting to push him off the edge.

"Oh no you don't!" Jean's eyes scanned for a large, sturdy rock. As soon as he spotted one in reach, he lifted his right hand as he made sure he still had Aleister in the other.

"INNOCENCE ACTIVATE!"

A quick burst of lightning shot across from his right hand to the boulder. As soon as the light cleared, Aleister's eyes widened as he saw the trail of lightning materialising into a silver metal.

"H-how is that possible?..I-is that the extent of the Innocence?!"

"Hold on tight," Jean smiled with a determined look on his face. Using the new metal he created as a harness he pulled with all his might to bring the Finder to safety, but lost balance as a strong gust of wind knocked him off the edge.

He managed to bring the kid to safety, but now Jean himself was dangling at the end of his metal harness. The winds punded him from all sides as he clung on, his eyes widened as he saw the view below.

It was not the height- no he did not fear heights at all. It was what was under the deep crevace, small beady eyes and the faint roar of a beast- no, a group of beasts. The winds came out from this direction. On closer inspection, they were not beasts at all.

"Akuma..."

(Some time has passed since my last post.)

Jindori had finally depleted Komui's bank acount. He had spent the last one hundread dollars he had left on ginger beer. Land was getting alot closer now and he could see it pretty clearly now. Thier was another boat next to his. Jindori gulped he saw exorcists on board. If any of them spotted him he would be toast. Komui would kill him if he found out, first thing he was out of uniform. Secound thing he had spent all Komui's money from the bank account. It only had five thousand pounds on it any way.

Jindori ran back to the cabin and put on his exorcist gear and all of his stuff and threw it onto the boat next to his. He then secretly lowered his self into the water and quickly swam across. Barely making it to the back of the boat unoticed Jindori climbed aboard. He then quickly got changed into his exorcist gear in the bathroom and changed his clothes. He then slowly made his way to the front of the boat.

Rave's eyed narrowed as he considered the tall priest, who spoke so strangely. Normally, one would not obviously suspect a messenger of the Church, even less one who seemed so serious about his beliefs. But Rave was not the trusting type. He shifted his hand so that it grasped his sword, and he was ready to attack in an instant. But instead of doing what he would have usually done and making a cold taunt, he stopped to consider his options.

He had no idea what was going on here and was walking blindfolded, in a manner. He was also unaware of any potential enemies. This priest would easily be a potential enemy, but he clearly had some sort of a connection to what was happening. So the solution was simple, to Rave's reckoning. He did not want to battle just yet, and he figured he could use the priest to cover if he needed to flee or fight.

"Very well, Father," replied Rave calmly, "I shall accompany you to the mountain top... I could use some company as well." He stood up and finished putting a rock on the top of the flames, effectively closing them in a small rocky mound. If he needed to return here later, he would have hot ambers ready to be used. In a way, he mused silently, it seemed almost like a representation of a human.

Leaning heavily on his "staff", he limped slowly in the direction of the mountain top, not wishing to lead nor be led.

Joshua headed up to the deck for a bit of fresh air, looking forward he saw a man scrambling around trying to be unnoticed a second glance to Joshua that it was that ass clown that stabbed him a few days back. Looking around to make sure he was alone Joshua silently walk behind the guy and pushed him over the railing Jindori let out a yelp as he crashed into the ocean. Joshua made sure to check that the other boat was a good distance away from Jindori before tossing him, and the initial shock of the cold water and the force of him breaking the surface tension was enough to disorientate Jindori long enough that Joshua's boat was also well out of reach leaving him to swim to shore.

Feeling a bit relaxed now that he had at least one vendetta taken care of he took out his pack of cigarettes and pulled one out. Lighting it with his zippo Joshua hears Lorraine walking up towards the deck, "what was that yelping noise I just heard"

"I suppose that it's dolphins" Joshua replies sarcastically with a smirk on his face.

Taking it the wrong way Lorraine replies "No I don't see any dolphins, and you should really put that cigarette out there bad for your health"

"Lady the day I start worrying about a smoke being bad for my health is the day you can put me in my grave, I've been through a hell of a lot worse that a little bit of carbon monoxide, and from the looks of it I am about to go through a hell of alot more. Or haven't you see what waiting ahead for us" Joshua says leaning of the bow of the ship. Ahead of them there was an enormous mountain whose top was covered in a blanket of rain clouds. Lightening jumped from cloud to cloud causing loud thunder claps in its wake. The ground not to far from the shore was is cracked and faulted, any surrounding building that was in that area has since been reduced to rubble. Joshua says astonished "look that hell just broke loose".

Heading back down stares to the cabins he popped his head into each room and said "hey get your thing together cause we're about to reach shore."

Mizaki stood on the high right side of the roof top of the boat. He peered down at another new Exorcist, packing his stuff and ready to leave the boat.

What is he stupid? We would get to shore faster then that little boat.

He seems like he wants to be unoticed so he left Jindori alone. As he continiued to watch him Joshua came into the scene and pushed him down the water. Jindori came up with a yelp and was splattering water everywhere and trying to make his way towards the slow small boat he dropped earlier. Mizaki sighed as he Lorraine came over to ask about what happened.

This mission is going to be so complicated then i had before. Martosu does not seem to want to talk to anybody lately. He has too much anger and revenge.

As time went on and Joshua went to the lower deck to inform everyone that we were reaching shore. Mizaki tightened his gloves again and stood behind Martosu.

"Get ready."

After Martosu’s welcome “speech”, Lorraine went to her cabin and took time to pray. Things were not working really well. Kneeling down she took her rosary and started praying when she felt the presence of Fatima near her.

“ I see this mission is a new challenge for you my child are you prepared?”
“In all honestly my dear mother I don’t think I can’t hold enough. These “men” are so troubled and in pain. I wish only to ease their pain and heal their wounds, but if they don’t let me help them I wont be able to do take all the weight under my shoulders.” Said Lorraine a bit sad.

“Then you must bear with patience the time for you to help them will come…”
“But…what about the kid he is so lost…”

“He reminds you of him right? I thought you had overcome that memory my child.”

“I know mother and I apologize but I cant forget him he was a special person on my life. I thank the father for the time we spent together but sometimes…sometimes I miss…him…” she whispered while some tears trailed down her face.

Fatima touched her head and said “Do not let your faith fail neither crumble against the attack of our enemy. For our Lord shall grant us rest, and strength and all of his love so his children shall never fail in despair and pain. Let us pray my dear since the prayer is our weapon against the forces of evil.”

Lorraine prayed until she fell asleep on the bed. She didn’t remember how much time she slept until she heard a knock on the door.

“If you are there woman its time to go we are already going to disembark, I’m waiting.”

Feeling a bit sore for the position she felt asleep Lorraine stood up and took a wash on her face. Straighten herself up Lorraine took her bags and put the hood over her face. Opening the door of her cabin she passed Joshua and didn’t waited from him.

"Get ready."

Martosu turned to Mizaki, looking a bit miffed, "What are you saying? Of course I am ready. One should be ready at all times, not when you just spot the situation." Not waiting for Mizaki to respond, he straightened himself out and turned away from him.

He's like a fly. Harmless but still ever so annoying.

As the boat reached the island and made port, Martosu headed down to the plank with Mizaki following behind. Slightly fed up with being followed, he turned to Mizaki, "Now what? What is with some people that feel the need to trail so far behind? Is it that you feel so important and above everyone else that time will wait just for you?"

"I believe you are mistaking my intentions, Martosu," Mizaki calmly answered back. Martosu just glared at him when Lorraine and Joshua appeared from around the corner. "To hell with this..." Martosu muttered before stalking down the plank.

Mizaki gave out another sigh as Martosu walked off himself again. He shook his head as Lorraine and Joshua approached behind him.

"He is obviously pushing us away."

As they walked off the plank Mizaki, Lorraine, and Joshua followed behind Martosu as he was the only one in the front. The trail they followed seemed to be there just for them to walk. They came across a few trees that held the greenest leaves with little red berries that held the sweatest juice Mizaki had ever tasted.

The silence between the Exorcist was broken by the screech of a hawk. As they looked up at the bird, the foaming mountain lashed out in anger, sending it crashing down behind them. There was no loud thud, but was covered up by the sound of footsteps.

Moments later Jindori caught up with the others still drenched wet with feather, and seaweed on his hair. Panting for breath Jindori took one last step forward, but was unaware of the huge rock in front of him. He tried leaping forward to keep his balance but was proved a failure, falling flat on his face. As he tried standing up the ants crawled up his boots and hands and inside his clothes. He quickly jumped up and tagged along with the group until they reached the base of the mountain.

Jindori washed ashore next to the group. He sighed and got out the water. Jindori didn't want to mention anything about that super annoying Joshua pushing him off the boat just in case he got sprung spending Komui's money. Jindori wasn't feeling himself as his eyes blured. He was tripping over things he stayed behind the group just because he didn't want any one to notice. He concluded that he had got a virus form the cold sea water.

Jindori looked at Mt. Olympus it was giant. It was going to take alot to get up that mountain Jindori tripped over a big rock and hit his head on the ground. Blood was comming out slowly. There was a big gash across his eye it was defenly going to scar.

Just above the Foot of Mt. Olympus

"Chain Lightning!!"

A quick blue bolt of lightning bounced between two or three of the level three Akuma, as they jumped up the cliffs on their pursuit of Jean and the little finder. Jean braced himself behind the cover of another boulder, as the trio let out another assault of attacks.

"Damn it", Jean cursed under his breath, as he turned behind to catch the trio preparing for another attack. Charging another wave of electricity in his right hand Jean leaped and rolled to the next boulder for cover as soon as the Akuma fired their volley of attacks.

"They're firing powerful blasts of wind in succession," Jean muttered under his breath. The Akuma took in another deep sets of breaths as they prepared to launch another huge gust of wind as Jean clenched his fists full of electricity.

Aleister crouched under a small crevice far from the battle. Even there he could feel the fluctuating movements of the air around the battlefield. The wind would be sucked in by the Akuma, then released with tenfold the power, it was a miracle Jean alone could withstand and avoid the attacks so easily he thought.

"Blue Bolt!!"

An instant bolt of lightning shout straight out from Jean's right hand towards the Akuma, causing them to disperse. Jean had noticed the Akuma had to at least have one partner to launch the powerful gusts of wind, yet keeping them away from each other was easier said than done.

Wait....there's only three of them..Shouldn't there be-

A powerful explosion could be heard just around where Aleister was hiding. Distracted by the small possibility he could be seriously hurt, Jean failed to notice the Akuma launching a head-on assault, causing him to take the damage head-on and slam into a rocky wall.

"Damn it.."

Joshua watched as Jindori tripped over the rock smirking a bit Joshua looked away to keep himself from blown laughter. Stopping for a second to stretch "Well looks like were here, so" Joshua looks up at the mountain "lets get started. I have rope and climbing gear in case we can't find a path, but since I am not quite in the mood for the extra workout lets try and find a path" Joshua said as he walked over too the mountain.

As Joshua got to the foot of the Mountain he heard a loud explosion just above him, scrambling up the mountain to check out what was happening Joshua saw three strange looking Akuma slamming a man into a rocky wall. "Innocence Activate" Joshua said as the tattoos on him body began to spread, looking at the back of his hands as blood formed his guns Genesis and Revelation. Without hesitation Joshua fired at the level three Akuma, the bullets distracted the Akuma but didn't have much effect. The Akuma now heading for Joshua, "uh guys, a little help here...."

I can't believe that kuso-jiji just pushed me through the portal like that!!

Suddenly Leiko was out of the portal only to found out that she was in the middle of the air and eventually, she fell and landed on something, rather on someone, making him fall on his face to the ground. After some seconds, the person under her muffled some words.

"Get - off - me"

She looked down expressionless.

"Gabriel, huh?"

Slowly she got up from Gabriel and he got up himself, glaring at her. Leiko just glared back at him.

"...Like hell I'm going to apologize to you, baaaka~"

Gabriel's eyebrown twiched, but eventually he regained his usual composure while Leiko started to walk away.

“Where you think you’re going Leiko?”

“We are supposed to investigate, right? I’m not interested on that kind of things so I’m going around, maybe I’m lucky enough to find someone to kill”

With this, Leiko went on her own way to the top of the mountain. She was on her dark form, not really caring about show herself as a Noah and since there were no one around.

That Gabriel... trying to boss me around. Is like he forgot about the fact that I’m his sempai here.

She kept walking for hours, thinking on how bored she was

It looks like I’m out of luck but... like I’ll find someone to kill in this dead mountain and plus...

“hmmm... ” Leiko looked around to see nothing but trees around and no one but herself, but then she noticed something and a sweatdrop appeared on her forehad.

... I have no idea where I am

Then something suddenly called her attention. In the trees near her, she heard some voices far away so she focused on that direction and she could feel it, that onld feeling than made a smile curve her lips slightly.

“Exorcist”

Leiko rushed into the woods and then saw two exorcist, one male and one female, but they noticed how she was running towards them and instad of staying, they started running.

Stupid exorcists... running away from me

While running she raised her right hand and thousands of needles were shoot at the exorcist, who dodged them.

“You two are quite fast for being simple humans... that makes the hunting more interesting”

Eventually, Leiko followed her preys to an clear area without trees and she spotted someone she knew walking there, followed by a person wearing a cloak.

“Anderson! you!!... you better stay out of my way or I will kill you for sure this time”. Leiko yelled at him while still passing him by and Andeson just stood there, looking as she ran away and obviously, not understanding the situation at all.

((@Undy: ... I got Leiko into this weird and random situation... now I need to know how to get out of this XDD

Martosu watched as the Akuma started to approach Joshua, causing him to call out for help. "Idiot, what the hell were you thinking, to take on a level three Akuma while you a still a fledging?!" Martosu shouted at Joshua while the Akuma gathered together to prepare for another air burst. "Would you just shut up and help me?!" Joshua answered as an air burst hit him, hurling him back.

Do I really want to watch him die?....no, well at least not today.

The Akuma sucked the air back and fired it once more at Joshua, who was still prone on the mountain side. "Fine, I'll save your idiotic ass," Martosu spoke while drawing his swords before activating his level three Innocence. Swinging his syth at the Akuma pod, he shot reddish-brown feathers at them, making them split apart in opposite directions.

Two of the Akuma quickly bunched themselves together and boomed another air shot at Martosu. He dodged the attack and launched more reddish-brown feathers at the lone Akuma just before it rejoined the other two. The feathers impacted the Akuma's back just before Martosu lept at the Akuma and kicked it where the feathers landed. As the Akuma's spine shattered, the ruined body impacted the remaining two Akuma, sending them back.

Martosu turned to Joshua, who was wiping blood away from his eyes from a gash in his head received from slamming into the mountain, "I'm leaving, would you like me to take you with me?" Martosu snidely called out. "Wait, what about the others?" Joshua responded as he stumbled forward. "What do you mean? They are Exorcists, they should be able to handle two Akuma," Martosu spoke as the one of the Akuma tore the ruined Akuma of it and threw it at Joshua and Martosu, making them both dodge it.

He wanted me to save him and yet hes being so stubborn now...

Glaring at Joshua, Martosu reached out to snatch his arm and started to run up the mountain away from the Akuma, dragging Joshua along. "You didn't ask me to kill the Akuma, you asked me to help you," Martosu sent back when Joshua begain to curse and protest.

((hmmm...12:00....still teeny bit of inspiration left.))

As Mizaki waited for Martosu to clear Joshua away from his death, he activated his level two innocence and aimed it on the level three Akuma that had his eyes set on him.

"That boy looks much of a bigger threat! Kill him!"

Mizaki didn't give the two Akumas time to use their abiltiy and shot two crystal shards towards them. Luckly, one of the crystals pierced into it's chest where it started spreading over his body and disable his movements. The Akuma that was covered in the crystal innocence screamed in agony as dark steam started to disperse into the air. It seems the crystal is burning the Akuma from the wound it created.

"What is this?....impossible.."

In a matter of minutes the once living Akuma fell to the ground and shattered into dust that flew up in the air.

The other Akuma which barely had a wound from the crystal only had his feet covered. But that didn't stop him from his kill intent. It lunged forward towards the three exorcist that was in front of him. Instead of going after Mizaki, it had it's eyes and claws set on Lorraine. But as Mizaki and Jindori try to run forward to protect Lorraine their foot was held on by some kind of sticky pollen.

"Shit....it was from that other Akuma...."

Gabriel dusted the last bits of dirt that clung to his coat after the rude interuption of his day dream by Leiko..

She runs around way too much

He thought shaking his head slowly to clear his vision, Pulling out his sword he began using it as a walking stick and began heading up the side of the mountain. Although walking at what one might consider a slow pace Gabriel made good time as he warped the reality around his feet to carry him slightly further then might normally be usual.

Wandering through the small woodland that was on the side of the mountain Gabriel happened upon an an usual scene, an Exorcist was busy exchanging battle blows with an akuma or two.

Taking his cue Gabriel picked up his sword and threw it with a dexterity of speed towards one of the Akuma, Just before the moment when his sword would hit he Unleashed his dark form causing the Akuma to turn to him in surprise at the edge of the small clearing they were in.

The sword still travelling at a hectic speed pierced the head of the akuma and sped all the way through leaving a hole in it's path. With a smile whine the Akuma shattered into small crystals as it's power left it's mortal body.

With a rare Smile Gabriel flicked his hand and the small wire which he had connected to the hilt of his sword tensed and pulled the sword back across the clearing from where it had embedded into a tree and into his hands.

Looking at the Exorcists he sat down on the ground and quietly said.

"A single Akuma should be enough for you to finish off, once your done I would have a discussion with one of you."

((At the three exorcists, Mizaki, Joshua, Martosai....Finish off your last exorcist then one of you come and talk to Gabriel...I got stuff I want to discuss))

The sword turned the akuma into a crystallized version of it self and shattered. Lorraine took a look at the direction the sword went and saw it was a Noah. Staying calmed she helped Jindori and Mizaki out of their predicament then thought about facing the Noah. By the looks of it he seemed to have something else in mind. Usually Noah’s didn’t help them out of charity. Unless this one had something in mind thought Lorraine.

“Mizaki stay here with Jindori and see what the Noah wants. If after this you want to go with Martosu and Joshua you are free to go. Jindori stay and rest I will go and make sure our other brother is ok.” Said Lorraine while running up to look up for the other exorcist.

She was aware that leaving the others was a bit of a risk but for some reason her instincts told her to check on this brother since the Noah was not on killing mode. At least not toward them for the moment.
It took her at least some minutes to reach the part of the mountain where the exorcist was. When she arrived she found a young man resting for a while. Taking out her gun she aimed to him but before she could shoot he jump from the ground and try to make a sweep kick to her legs to put her on the ground. Lorraine managed to dodge the attack by jumping then she tried to once again shoot but he was already charging at her.

“I am not the enemy my brother.” She blocks the sword attack with her guns.
“Then why you are aiming those guns at me?” asked the exorcist preparing his next attack.
“Because someone at the Order thought it would be funny to make my Innocence weapon a gun when in fact is a healing type Innocence that’s why. Now could you hold up a minute?” said Lorraine a bit annoyed since she had to remember the irony of her situation.
“Oh so you are Sister Lolo? I mean Lorraine Magdalena Giusti? I heard stories about you.” Said the young man taking some steps back but never giving his back to her.
“Yes. Are you alright I thought you were badly hurt” was Lorraine’s response.
“I’m alright just resting a bit when the akumas went down. Where are they? By the way my name is Jean.” Said with a courteous bow.

Lorraine responded the courtesy back and responds

“Some of the people that are with me on the mission took care of them as well as a Noah. We need to hurry back and see what he wants.

Nodding in agreement both went back on record time. By the time the arrived Martosu was nowhere to be found as well as Joshua. Jindori and Mizaki were on defensive mode waiting for the Noah to make his move. Meanwhile the Noah was just apparently waiting for them to arrive.

“Good it seems that the whole group arrived. Perphaps now we can have a little chat before going up the mountain shall we?”

Mizaki would never expected to see the Noah he just met from his last mission. His instincts told him to attack the Noah, but his expression showed no intention to kill any of them. Realizing that he was holding his breath, he took a deep sigh and relaxed his body.

Like this mission could get any better.

Mizaki deactivated his innocence and walked towards Gabriel. His whole body shook as he was coming in closer. This is the fear Mizaki hated, his thoughts gave him visions that the Noah in front of him would kill him as he took the next step.

Moments later when Mizaki calmed dowm, he stopped just a few feet away from Gabriel. He put his gloves back on without looking at his hands, until then he stood there waiting for an answer from Gabriel.

A Confrontation with Gabriel

Jean's eyes narrowed as he remembered a familiar face.

"Gabriel was it? I remember you quite some time ago."

The Noah only smiled back. Jean couldn't remember much of the previous incident however, although he was curious what he would want with the Exorcists again.

Before the Noah could say anything though, Jean suddenly remembered the explosion where the young finder Aleister was. It would be quite rude to run out in the middle of what would seem to be an important and could be potentially a tense confrontation with a Noah, but he couldn't let Aleister alone when he could be in serious danger.

"Let me deal with it Jean..." A voice resonated within his mind.

Joan..

Sparks of electricity silently slipped out of Jean's body, as an exact clone of Jean materialised.

"I'm sorry, I just need to take care of a young companion I had, I'll be right back. In the meantime, the other me will make sure you don't try anything funny, Mr. Gabriel"

With that the clone ran off the source of explosion, hoping to find Aleister still safe and sound.

Gabriel looked in the faces of the two exorcists who had gone over to him, Once the clone of the slightly taller one had departed from where they were Gabriel raised his right hand as his Gaseous Akuma raced out of his sleeve and looking around with two large eyes the akuma drew in a deep breath and puffed itself outward instantly drenching the area they were in with fog.

"To conceal myself from otherwise prying eyes" Gabriel said as the two exorcists went for their weapons.
"What do you want" Asked the one who Gabriel had discussed politics with on that sinking island a while ago.
"Indeed" Queried the clone creator "Why would you want to talk to us?"
"It's quite simple really" Began Gabriel leaning against the tree behind him "I'm tired and annoyed, I never had to do this much work when my siblings had some skill, however it seems that since your side has increased it's power we Noah have failed to take that into account very much. Whilst we still hold a firm upper hand it has become necessary for us all to work to keep you peasants at bay...Now this is something that I really can't tolerate any longer..the old man never said anything about work..." Gabriel finished and looked expectantly at the two exorcists, unblinking they both stared back at him...
Stupid ants, they need things spelled out for them

Gabriel thought with disgust.."Clearly I'm taking steps to avoid this and this is it, I want to switch sides as it may be, Change flags, Bat for a different team, Show underlying colors..That sort of thing. I'm asking you for sanctuary. And in return I can offer your organization something it clearly lacks..Information"

Standing up Gabriel sensed the powers of his siblings close by. "Anyhow I hate to chat and run but things like this dictate it, If you agree to my request then find me when you have the time"

And thus Gabriel clicked his fingers which caused his Akuma to rapidly shrink and rush into his sleeve then with a slight bow of his head to the two bewildered Exorcists he drew back into the forest and disappeared.

((Thats about it really...Gabriel's gonna go watch things, If you agree to his request then find him next arc and tell him so..))

Joshua still not very far from the area that the Noah appeared over heard Gabriel's proposal.

A Noah working for the order, hmmm I from what I've heard, I gathered that they're working for the Earl. Personally I have nothing against them, but I dunno. I wasn't intending to go back to the Order but maybe I might, just until I can find out more about these Noah, and what better way to do it then first hand.

Acting as if nothing had happened Joshua looked at Martosu "Well lets get going, can you tell me if you see a clear path ahead or should I bring out the climbing equipment. No wait I can see a trail". Although it was near a steep end of the mountain there was a small path about 4ft wide. Joshua and Martosu began to walk along the path each carefully choosing his steps making sure that he didn't slip and fall down the mountain. About half way up a boulder was blocking there path."So what do you suppose is up there" Joshua said as he inched his way around the side of a boulder. Martosu began to make his way around the boulder "I don-" before he could finish the boulder began loosen and roll down the side of the mountain knocking Martosu down with it Martosu managed to grab a hold of a rock but the angle was too steep for him to regain his footing and climb back up the mountain. Joshua riped open his bag a fast as he could and grabbed the rope attached to the grappling hook tossing it he lodged it in to a crack in the wall of the mountain griping it with one hand he grabbed Martosu with his other. "Here grab the rope I'll pull you up" Martosu grabbed on to the rope but as he tried to climb up it the rock the grappling hook was in gave way, sending Joshua and Martosu off the side of the mountain luckily it caught in another rock at the edge of the path. "HELP, CAN ANYBODY HEAR ME?" Joshua yelled he and Martosu dangled there.

Moments after this conversation with Gabriel, Mizaki made his way up the mountain along the side. Thoughts plagued his mind as he walked along the pathway leading to the top of the mountain.

Noah?.......Work the Black Order?.....I'd better ask Komui about this once i get back to HQ....But..he does not seem like a threat from my eyes...

As he was approaching half way up the mountain, he could hear a familiar voice. Running in the distance he saw a rope hanging down towards the base of the mountain. On the other hand he saw two familar faces. He grabbed the rope and pulled as hard as he can.

Sh*t and i thought i was the one that ate the most here.

After pulling the Joshua and Martosu up Mizaki sat down on the ground and had already started sweating.

"Some water would be nice."

Lorraine noticed she was left out. Still she heard the proposal. She didn’t trust the Noah. But then again if trading was fair enough. Still it wasn’t her choice to make. She stays quiet and didn’t say anything. Jean stepped next to her and said.

“So what you think? Shall we accept?”
“It’s not our choice to take that decision. Right now we need to concentrate on the mission. Your clone will need us soon. Let ‘s move.” She said without changing her blank expression.

Jean didn’t reply to her statement. So far the rumors were true. She was as calm and collected as people claimed.

“Mizaki left.” Said Jean while starting to climb up again the mountain.
“It’s ok he is going with Martosu and Joshua they will come back later. Let them have their way for the moment being.” Said Lorraine.
Nodding in agreement Jean kept walking near Lorraine. She seemed pensive and concentrated on something. What could it be?
The path began to loose some vegetation as they climb up still they were on the forest. Soon they reached a clear part where two men were having a small conversation. The first one she didn’t had a clue of who he was but the second one was familiar to her. Taking a safe distance she looked at the two men and said.

“Sooner or later God had brought you back to my path Father. Perhaps this time I shall avenge by killing you the innocent lives you took on Greece?” You got less than one minute to speak Father before I start shooting. Hence the fact that God is on my side now.” Said Lorraine while aiming her guns at Father Anderson without hesitation.

((Made this short post to get Rave and Anderson. Mizaki,: you, Reco and Josh go apart. We are going to get these two and go up the mountain will meet you there))

((Finally, a chance to post :o. Loose translations from the Hebrew version of the Bible ftmfw))

Prior to Leiko's appearance

Rave and the priest walked slowly on a path that seemed to lead up without need to scale cliffs or take too difficult terrain. Rave welcomed this strange situation as it allowed him to continue the facade of a cripple without need to play dangerously close to slipping and dieing a quick death below them in jagged rock junction. As they walked, the priest seemed to be quite interested in Rave's belief in God. More specifically, he seemed to consider only catholics true "Christians" and all others nothing more but heathens.

"And so our Lord said to Jeremiah, thou shalt not warn the people of Jerusalem henceforth, for they shalt fall to the hands of the Babylonian empire." This speech went for over an hour, by Rave's estimation, but he found something calming in the constant jabbering about Biblical characters and their endeavors. Not much of a religious person, Rave still felt the need to listen to the priest's lengthy talk.

At least, it was polite, and he did not want to dismiss religion from his list of possible ways to overcome his sense of being lost on the great road of life. As Anderson slipped into the tale of the prophet Elijah, who apparently called down heavenly fire which burned both lamb and water, a passing by woman chasing two figures turned to the priest and shouted, “Anderson! you!!... you better stay out of my way or I will kill you for sure this time.”

Rave raised an eyebrow. "So, your name is Anderson, Father? And you seem to have some link to a woman... is that not forbidden?"

"That is my sister, as Dina was to the sons of Jacob."

"I see..." Rave smiled lightly. "Nice sibling love there, by the way." Although he tone suggested nothing more than polite amusement, he was now on his guard. This Priest was no normal person, and that meant either Akuma, Noah, or Exorcist. Rave suspected it was option two, considering the rather human manner in which he acted, but decided against acting. At the moment, he could care less whether this was a Noah, or an Akuma, or an Exorcist. They were not fighting and his curiosity at whatever happened on the mountain was more pressing than some matters which really only bothered the Order and their lapdogs.

To Rave right now, feeding his curiosity was what mattered. Not war.

Shortly before Lorraine arrived

The path altered, becoming more rocky and jagged, and more dangerous to traverse. Rave had a few close calls with his faked limp, but managed to stay on the path and still limping. Their conversation dulled to minimal verbal sparring as Anderson explained why all non-Christian and non-Catholics were all heathens and Rave asked why they were not allowed to make merry , until at some curve of the road a voice above them said, “Sooner or later God would have brought you back across me path, Father. Perhaps this time I shall avenge by killing you the innocent lives you took in Greece? You got less than one minute to speak Father before I start shooting. Hence the fact that God is on my side now.”

Rave smirked under the cover of his hat and slowly drifted back, moving ever so subtly that he was slightly to the side of Anderson. He leaned on his sword, or so it appeared. In truth he was ready to spring it forward, using the sheathe as a distraction before his attack. He suspected that this new arrival was an Exorcist of some sort and that things would degenerate into a battle - a battle he had no intention of interfering in without very good reason.

"Ye be calling me a murderer? Liars are within the 8th circle, if you do not recall, Sister," Anderson replied.

She raised her gun, and he pulled out a large thick book. She fired a shot, and he blocked with it, tearing out pages which began to sail down to the base of the mountain.

"Violence breeds in the 7th circle; ye be wading in dangerous waters now," Anderson replied to the shot.

Lorraine did not back down.

"I won't miss another shot," she said.

"Was it I?" Anderson noted. "Was it? The Lord provides and giveth, but only yer company of Satan will take and destroy."

Another shot pierced the hard cover of the book, stopped mid-way. Shot after shot hit the book.

"The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."

He tossed the book aside, taking a bullet to the forehead, left shoulder, and right leg. Blood seeped out of the wounds. He fell down, and Rave seemed to take interest in what happened next. Lorraine began to walk away. Rave slowly turned, but Anderson's body began to tense. He sat up, putting one fist on the ground to give him leverage. Lorraine turned around. "What is this?" She exclaimed.

Anderson picked up his glasses which sat on the ground. " 'Tis be holy countenance by the Lord, he hath protected me all these years and taught me to turn the other cheek."

Slowly, the skin around the bullet wounds rippled and pushed the bullets out. They clunked against the rocks of the mountain, then spilled over into the nothingness.

"Shall I turn my cheek again? Or will we continue, Sister Lorraine?" Anderson spoke with a somewhat ominous tone in his voice.

((Anderson was in his white form this whole entire time.))

Lorraine turned around silently, the tension was great between the strange Father and her. Gripping her hand tightly, nothing came out from her than a long hard stare.

"Who are you really, Father?" Jean stared at the man before Lorraine.

No answer. Only a peaceful smile.

Jean began charging electricity in his fingertips. The Father had a companion with him, seeming limp, but given the strange events occuring before him one can't judge books by their covers.

"Are you really the peaceful Father that you say you are?"

"Young man, nothing will come out good with fury. Wrath will bring no good, only scorn and despair. 'Tis a great sin."

The currents around Jean sizzled gradually as blue sparks flew out of his fingertips.

The Father's companion only stared at the electricity, the Father retaining his peaceful expression as he closed his eyes. "One must count his blessings, before it is too late."

The Site of the Explosion

Jean's clone ran up the cliffs, avoiding the unpredictable rocks falling down from recent explosion. Aleister was hiding in the site before, he could only hope he is still alive.

Joan's spirit roamed within the clone as she searched pile of rocks for the young Finder. As the clone digged out stone by stone, Joan couldn't help but replay the explosion in her mind.

The Akuma attacked in pairs, yet there were only three who Jean battled. Then the explosion happened here.

Suddenly the clone felt a bloody, wounded hand. Rushing to dig out the rest of the body, Joan feared the worst, but was relieved to find Aleister's eyes open.

He's alright...thank goodness he's...!!

Suddenly the bloody hand grabbed the clones throat as Joan saw red beady eyes from behind. At closer inspection a scaly arm pierced the boy's spine, surely it was a fatal injury. The boy should be dead.

The clone let loose an electric current to try and break free from the boy's grasp. A slight hiss came from behind him, as the level three Akuma began to use the boy as a weapon, slamming the clone in the face. Before the clone could react, another wind blast, the same as from the Akuma before, was forming between the boy and the Akuma, as it fired the clone off the cliff.

It can take on a host and use them to attack!?

The Akuma flew down in pursuit, grabbing the clones head as they were falling to the ground.

I have to warn Jean and the others..

Joan's soul disappeared from the clone just before the Akuma plummeted the clone's head to the ground below. The resulting attack caused the clone to explode in a mass of lightning, which barely scratched the Akuma, as it was feeding on the boy's energy to grow stronger.

Stronger. The Akuma roared as it flew higher to the mountains. Ready to take on what's on the summit.

Shinju paused as she felt another presence while they were walking, but it wasn’t just anybody – this person had the scent and the aura of a Noah.

She quietly tugged on the sleeve of Serenade’s black cashmere coat, and at that moment the Noah made a beeline towards them.

There were two choices in this situation: fight or flee. Both of them were leaning towards the first option, but after thinking back on the message that one of the other Guardians had passed onto them beforehand, they thought better of it.

Serenade jumped off to the side while Shinju turned around and dashed off in the opposite direction.
The female Noah raised her right hand to shoot a rain of needles towards them, but the attack was intercepted by a wall of trees through which the two easily weaved through up until they arrived at a wide clearing.

It was only for a split second, but the mingled scents and auras hit her harder than the smell of blood.

A second Noah? And… Rave? But why would—

“Anderson! You!!... You better stay out of my way or I will kill you for sure this time!” The woman behind them suddenly yelled out loud while they were passing by the pair, though the tall man simply just stood there looking and, obviously, not understanding the situation at all.

To her side, Serenade narrowed his eyes and was visibly irritated.

He looked to Shinju for a sign, and after some pondering she gave it in the form of three extended fingers and the rotation of her wrist.

The duo split up again once they passed across the field’s border and through the trees, crisscrossing under and over branch after branch.
The Noah fired off two more sets of needles, but again they were all intercepted.

After he was sure that they had passed around three miles worth of ground, Serenade met up with Shinju again and took her hand into his.

Shinju turned around in mid-jump and waved to their pursuer.

“Sorry, Miss Noah, but it looks like our little game of Tag will have to continue another time~” she shouted, moments before Serenade led her straight through the shadow that rested on the one of the trees’ trunks.

Like they had planned, the two reappeared under the shadow of a different tree – just meters away from the three Exorcists and the tall Noah, but out of the whole entire group they were only noticed by one particular person.

Shinju quietly waved to Rave with a mischievous grin on her face before turning to Serenade and motioning with her thumb towards the summit of the mountain.

Rave was busily searching for an escape route when Shinju and Serenade appeared out of nowhere. Rave's eyebrows climbed almost all the way into his hairline at their appearance, and at its implications when Shinju slipped on some loose gravel and had to run forward before she caught her balance.

What she caught was, actually, Rave's sword. Thanks to his pretend limp, he was leaning on it heavily, and as such lost his balance momentarily and stumbled backwards. Then it occurred to him that this could be an excellent way to escape this loaded scene without exposing himself to the Noah - the Priest was obviously a Noah, and Rave knew he was smart at maintaining the "hapless cripple" facade - and the two Exorcists, who would immediately attempt to apprehend him, as he was indeed a rogue and a traitor to the Order.

His left hand shot out, grabbed Shinju by the shoulder and dragged her after him while Serenade was running full speed towards them. Using Shinju's body as cover, Rave ran backwards and jumped over the edge of the road, apparently plunging himself and the unlucky woman to their deaths.

The second his entire body was hidden by the cliff edge he placed his sword into his belt and grabbed his cloak and ripped it off his shoulders. He punched the rock wall so that it slid across it. With hardly an effort he moved Shinju to his back and pulled the cloak so it held her in a sort of a cradle. Now almost free, Rave grabbed the cape's edges and began running down the cliff wall, holding the "cradle" and Shinju in one hand and his sword with the other.

Above him he heard Serenade, who apparently jumped after them. Smiling at this display of companionship, Rave cast a quick glance around. It was a gradual cliff, with jagged rocks dotting each terrace. He looked directly down and saw that there were about sixty more feet until the first jagged rock junction. Not intending to meet jagged rocks any time soon - at least not face first - Rave let go of the cloak. Shinju seemed to have recovered from the surprise of being dragged down a fall that would be surely fatal and grabbed the edges of the cloak, spearing it into a parachute. It slowed her fall by a fair margin, but nowhere near enough to stop her from being killed. Rave, however, had other plans. Zenryu flashed out and he grabbed the handle with two hands.

"Weapon mode: Onigari!" The blade glowed momentarily and expanded into a massive sword (http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c39/SankonGanSou/rough_draft.png), which Rave pointed down. He grabbed the massive handle with his legs and braced for impact, simultaneously lifting his hands up. He caught Shinju - who got the hint and let go of one edge of the cloak - a mere moment before the sword slammed into the rocks. The sheer weight of the weapon and its sharpness caused it to bury deep into the ground.

Rave bent forward slightly, gritting his teeth at the force of the impact and the strain on his shoulders from holding Shinju, but let go of her almost at once, placing her on the ground as gently as possible and grabbing the rocky wall, more running up than actually climbing. He caught the sliding Serenade by the hand and managed to hold on to the wall while feeling as if he was ripped in two from the added weight. He dropped Serenade down and fell in behind him, grabbing Zenryu which meanwhile restored itself back to katana form.

Sheathing it, he looked around. They were about a hundred feet below their original location, on a rough terrain. Normally, scaling the mountain would take days, at least to regular humans. Rave was no normal human. Months of training and fighting Akuma with a weapon of magical nature made him far more than just "human". He pointed to the summit and quietly said, to his two uncanny companions.

"I'm going up there and I'll be there by tonight. Follow me or not, as you wish." With that, he ran and jumped easily across the terrain, skimping from one rock to the other, quickly kicking himself off rocks and finding footholds on loose rocks that would've crumbled under his weight if his foot was there for longer than a split second. As he ran, he heard both the Exorcists follow. A slight smile showed on his face, and he maintained his pace.

A few hundred feet away where the road dipped into a bowl Rave made a sudden turn and ran straight up the gently curving ground towards the road. He jumped easily and rolled shoulder-first into the rocky road. Massaging the sore shoulder he turned to see Shinju and Serenade climbing up. Whistling in admiration, he turned to continue his journey up the road and to the summit, when a sound from behind warned him of something approaching. He turned to hear a whistling and something flying towards him.

He moved away in time to avoid losing an eye, but a scratch appeared on his temple. What the hell was that? A knight of some sort? Rave looked about to see a familiar woman standing there, practically boiling with rage. Rage aimed mainly at the two Exorcists behind him, but also slightly at him.

"It's true what they say... hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn." Whatever her grudge was against him and the two Exorcists, Rave had no desire to fight. It would only delay him on his way to the summit and whatever it was there. He was not a person to be obsessed over trivial matters, so he rationalized that the compelling urge to reach there meant there was something important.

Or he was just curious. Either way, the fight was pointless. Shinju and Serenade seemed to agree with him, as the trio turned as one and escaped towards the summit, Shinju and Serenade shooting taunts at the fuming Noah - why was she so familiar!? - while running and zigzagging through the scarce trees dotting the mountain-side.

The woman - he was sure he saw her before, and he knew she was a Noah - chased them, occasionally shooting needles at them. But as they were escaping and not fighting, hitting them was more difficult. Rave kept a relatively slow pace, aware that if he exhausted himself he would be useless. As they ran, he suddenly experienced a sensation of strange fear. It was as though every fiber in his being warned him not to go somewhere he just passed. He looked around and spotted the place at once; a nearly invisibly turned straight up the mountain leading to an interesting peak.

A peak with something on it. He turned and dived below a tree, skidded to the wall and grabbed it with his bare hands, running up. Every instinct screamed at him to run away, but he could not deny the calling of that place. He reached the tip of the summit, and jumped over the edge...

((Rave is now nearly at the very top of the mountain. I am giving other posters a chance to catch up while dealing with their problems and quarrels.))

Gabriel slowly yawned as he walked up the sheer rock wall, He could feel the presence of a High level Akuma nearby...It was really one of the only interesting powers on the mountain that he had so far felt.

Taking the step onto the ledge he peered around, the air being so very thin provided an excellent view of the surrounding area on this cloudless day.

Once again enjoying the fact that as a Noah he required little to no air at all Gabriel felt a moment of complete serenity before the power once again tickled his mind. Turning around to face the cliff leading to the top of the mountain he once again starting his walk to the top.

Panting Joshua walks over to were he left his bag and pulls out 3 canteens of water he tosses one over to Mizaki and one to over to Martosu he opens one for him self takes a few large gulps and then pores the rest over his head. "Jesus that was close. For a second there I though we were toast." Joshua said as he sits on a near by rock.

Looking around he notices a swarm of Akuma heading their way.

Uh oh there has to be at least 50 of them and they and out of that there has to be at least 10 of the kind that kick my ass back at the foot of the mountain, this is not good.

"Uh guys we have a problem here, look over there" as Joshua gets up and point over at the on coming swarm. "look like we're going to have to cut our break a little short, I think that now is a good time to start running." Joshua said as he swings his bag over his shoulders.

The three of them activate there Innocence and begin running up the path leading to the top of the mountain, taking out some of the Akuma that got too close. Joshua shot at least 10 of the lvl 2 akuma and Mizaki and Martosu took out 10 lvl2s and 3 lvl3s apeice. While running Martosu managed to stuble over a rock, but before he manged to fall Joshua grabs the scruff of his shirt "thank me later right now we have to get the hell out of here" Joshua said as he began fireing while his pace changed from a mild run to a full sprint.

Being chased by the remaining Akuma Joshua and the others reached the top of the Mountain, there was at least 10 more lvl2 and 4 lvl3. Facing the Akuma Joshua and the others heard a felt a powerfull presence behind then Joshua being the first one to turn around said "Holy sh** this is realy not good!"

Anger was all Lorraine could think then her thoughts went on the verge of start planning for revenge. That thing was not a saint it was a wolf disguised as a lamb. Gripping her gun she put it back into the holster and turned around. Passing the others she began to walk to the top of the mountain without waiting for the others.

“My child why? This violence was not necessary. Why you had done such a terrible act?” asked Fatima with hurt in her voice.
“He is a murder are you also blind as them?” was Lorraine’s answer.

It took her a few seconds to process her actions and to kneel down embarrassed.

“Forgive mother I had sinned against you with my terrible actions. I shall abide at your others please punish me for my insolence.” Said Lorraine almost tearful.

She waited until she felt the hands of Fatima on her shoulders then she raise her head to her.

“How could I deny the pain that has torn you apart? I acknowledge the Crossroads you are in my child and I can not stand seeing you carrying this burden that you had gotten in the past. I shall not punish you anymore than you already had done to yourself since that fateful day. You shall not submit to the enemy’s taunt neither responds in hatred. Please stand my child you just need to be at peace with yourself and with God. Forget this matter and go on. I have the feeling that something terrible wrong going on the top of the mountain the mission is first.” At the same she was hugging and praying for Lorraine.

Lorraine gave a long deep sigh. Fatima was the only one so far to be able to control her anger and hatred. Something that was not always visible. Opening her eyes Lorraine took a deep breath and went to the group.

“Its time to go, we can’t loose anymore time than we already had lost. Make a prayer and ask forgiveness for your sins the enemy is everywhere and is waiting for us to make his move.” Saying this she turned around and started walking.

“Amen sister Lorraine.” Said Father Anderson with an innocent yet hidden meaning on the tone of his voice.

She halts a bit and for a few seconds but then she continued her way to the top of the mountain. She knew the others will follow her. Not showing any emotions she needed her cool to deal with the mission. She began to pray for peace with every step she knew the danger was coming to her path.

This situation was seriously making her mad. Not only those two young excorcist had ran away from her, but now, this man was not only dodging her attacks but also ignoring her completely while focusing at an specific spot.

“Don’t ignore me, you idiot!”

Leiko shoot more needles at him, but this new opponent was fast enough to dodge them, so only few of them were able to rip slightly his clothes.
While the man was evanding the needles, Leiko shoot at him spider-webs, trying to catch him with them. Again, the mandoged this and kep running.

Forget those two who ran away just now... this one is way more insteresting. I’m sure I’ve seen movement like these before.
For a moment, she stopped and looked at this man who was with Alexander a moment ago, he certainly seemed familiar but she wasn’t sure who he was.

I will find out with this way then.
She extended her arms and the murmured some words and two kodachi materialized in her hands and, without further notice, she rushed towards this man attacking him.
She kept hitting, or more like trying, since at each blow she didn’t hit nothing but air since her enemy kep dodging her attacks and with every movement, her rage clouded her mind more and more.

“You coward, quit dodging!! Is that you don’t take me seriously!?... you’re nothing but trash compared to me, you lowly exorcist!!!”

Not only the man kept evading every blow, but also Leiko forgot about the fact that she wanted to find out who this man was.

Leiko just kep trying ti cut him with her swords, and the man kept steping back, dodging her attacks. The top of the mountain was at sight already, but Leiko didn’t mind at all.

We’ll see how much you can keep up with me.

((OOC: Ok I am not trying to be X-rated here but yeah I have to basically describe the Goddess Aphrodite who is suppose to be the embodiment of every mans desires, which I personally don't know, there for I will go with the modern day cliche...))

"Holy sh** this is really not good!" Joshua said as he turned around to see two glowing figures behind him.

One of them looked male, he sat upon a golden throne, clad in iron armor, a huge sword to his right, fiery red hair flowed from his helm. The other, female, a beautiful women who looked no older then 20 with golden blond hair whose hair flowed well past her large breasts. She stood next to the warrior among the center of the ruin pillars and crumbled edifice. Joshua assessing his surroundings gazed past them to an opening to what looked like the remains of an old Greek temple, the Goliath man holding a globe on his shoulders was a dead give away. Listening to the other two fighting the Akuma behind him Joshua returned his attention to the strange figures before him. The female didn't seem to be much of a problem, however the man looked as if he could chop the entire mountain in half with his huge sword if he could actually weild it seeing as it was about twice his hight. Joshua continued to study this new enemy as he happen to gaze into the man eyes, and suddenly he realized he was paralized, not by fear but darkness eminated from the man a darkness so deep that it froze Joshua very soul.

Unable to move his body Joshua strugled to regain control of him self, but in a blink of an eye the woman who had been standing several yards away from him was suddenly infront of him. Pressing her lips against his she gave him a long and seemingly passionate kiss, instantly was under her spell. His mind in a state of total bliss was unaware that he had become the pupet of the being who claimed to be the Greek Goddess Aphrodite. Joshua's body was totally under this being's control. Joshua's lvl2 innocence already activated drew upon a power he was unable before as the sword which he slew his beloved Mary with formed in his hands and the curse he received from trying to bring her dead body back to life by making a contract with the earl began to spread through his blood system. Suddenly the black stars signifying akuma poisoning began to appear on his skinn begining from his head and heading downwards, however once it had completely covered his body it quickly reversed its track through out his body. Joshua let out a scream of pain as tears of black blood filled with the poison spilled from his eyes to form a helmet that look like the skull of a lvl2 akuma. Turning around to face his companions he stabed the clossest one to him....

((@Mida: I'll be moving Leiko about a lot in this post, so if I do anything wrong please tell me :p. Also, Pika, I didn't move Shinju and Serenade because I assume they are separate and Rave can't see them, so please move them as you see fit ^^))

Rave swirled away from the Noah, placing on foot firmly on a steady rock. The mountain side was not an easy to navigate, and he kept sliding down slightly, making dodging irritating. Still not wanting to engage in real combat, Rave rotated away from Leiko's slashing kodachi and slid down the mountainside, sticking his sword into the hard ground to slow down. Leiko charged after him, back slightly bent forward. Rave jumped and somersaulted over her, landing higher up the mountain, but Leiko figured him out and turned around, Kodachi crossing in a deadly arc.

Rave threw himself backwards but the kodachi caught his cloak and ripped it off his shoulders, revealing his face. Leiko's eyes widened.

"Rave!" There was no mistaking the gleeful murder in her voice. Rave's expression turned sour and he turned away, seeking to run as fast as he could. Leiko wasn't going to let him escape, though, and stabbed with her crossed kodachi, scratching his sides. Rave realized that he could not escape without fending her off or getting damaged more. He twirled his sword around and stabbed with it - still sheathed - into Leiko's forehead.

She was slower than he, and he hit - a glancing blow to the temple. A vein popped on her forehead and she grit her teeth in rage. "You bastard!" She charged right after her words, her kodachi flicking in quick, snakelike motions, stabbing and cutting and subtly twisting. Rave kept up with her, his sword pushing away stabs from one kodachi then slapping aside the other. Leiko pressed forward while Rave kept stepping back.

The narrow path they had for free movement - without jagged rocks to stumble on - made it so they could only take one route, straight up. Rave's hands seemed a blur, the sheathed sword flashing back and forth between the kodachis to keep them away from his body. Very soon he began to breath heavily - the air was thin this high. Leiko saw this as an advantage and pressed forward.

Rave placed Zenryu before him horizontally, deflecting a double cross cut from Leiko, and just when she moved the blades backwards for another slash he slid one leg backwards, bent the forward one, placed his sword at his side in a Iaido stance, and unsheathed. Leiko was unprepared for such a move - there was no space for a full swing - and was caught off guard as the handle of the blade hit her in the stomach. Gasping and gurgling, she stumbled backwards, and Rave used the opening to turn and run up, sheathing his sword as he turned.

Leiko growled behind him and after she managed to regain her balance she ran up after him brandishing her kodachi and steaming with anger. In a straight race she had no chance, though, and he kept the distance between them. He was nearing the very summit of the mountain and a pair of rock jutted out of the mountain side like an ominous gateway, warning all comers.

Rave smirked and sped up, placing a hand on the handle of his sword. Just as he reached the rocks, he drew out the sword and turned with unbelievable speed. A blurry line of light rasped across the rocks, and when Rave continued running up the rocks broke off and fell down, blocking the road. Rave ran up and reached the summit - a small cliff obscured his view of the summit and so he grabbed it and jumped right up, clearing the rise in one go.

He raised his eyes and stared at what he saw.

((Note: I assume that under the pretext of gods, they can take different forms for different people, so that they can look whatever they think will make the person believe them most))

A broad-shouldered, bald and scarred man with a goatee stared down at him from a tall gilded chair. Rave stepped back, terrified. Who was this guy? Why did seeing him felt so horrifying and at the same time calming? Rave felt a drop of sweat slide down his cheek.

"Greetings, Raven." The man's voice was deep, cold, hard as steel.

"Who are you? How do you know my name?"

"I am Ares, god of war! You have heard my call, have you not? You may yet step on the path of the demigod of destruction and war, he who is known as Asura. Will you not bow before me and take my power?"

Rave tried to turn away, but Ares caught him in his glare. For a second, he looked into the eyes of a being of unfathomable power and unending depths. A god, no less. He breathed through his teeth with a loud sucking noise.

Damn! Damn damn damn! His legs shook, weakened. A part of him wanted to kneel - to give himself to the power before him, to dance with it and bathe in it. Another part of him desperately screeched that he could not just give in to such offers. His knees buckled but he caught himself by sheer force of will. He grunted and blinked...

And to his shock the scene seemed to reset itself, and Ares was gone, instead a young man with flaming red hair sat on the same gilded chair. Rave breathed hard, feeling as though he had just ran a marathon. He gripped his sword - when did he unsheathe it? - tighter and looked around.

"Do not be so alarmed... I am here to talk."

"Talk? Who the **** are you?"

"I am Ares, god of war. Will you not bow to me?" This time Rave's resistance was barely there. He was breaking apart, his will destroyed by the power of the god.

Like hell you will, you useless man! His eyes widened at the silent voice emanating from his sword. It began to glow subtly, and then a crackling noise made both Ares and Rave look down at the sword. To Rave's shock a pair of crackling and ephemeral handcuffs formed on his wrists with a third chain attached to the base of the handle. He stared down at it, and felt Zenryu invading his body and mind; slowly taking over. He could not resist - not after Ares' invasion - so he stared, terrified, as Zenryu completely invaded his body, lining his skin with reddish lines.

Curving red lines ran across his hands and over his chest, all the way up to his eyes and into his hairline. He stopped breathing heavily, and his body moved. The sword pressed to Ares' neck. Ares frowned and vanished in a puff of smoke. Rave/Zenryu looked around, eye burning red, and detected the same power it felt before. Without hesitation it stepped forward, quickly and silently rushing towards a group of people, one of them possessed.

The lines glowed brightly on Rave's body, slightly widening with each step and covering Rave with a new form of armor. For now, Zenryu controlled the body while Rave remained in the back of his head. He released control, deciding to regain his composure and his wall of solid arrogance to stop anyone ever taking over him again.

((Boo, come on folks, let's kick the gods' asses!))

Mizaki jumped back as Joshua gave him a minor cut on his waist.

"What the hell are you thinking?"

He activated his level one innocence on one of his hands and steadied himself in a ready position. In a small tone whipser Mizaki told Martosu to go into the ruins while Mizaki takes care of Joshua.

Looking at Joshua made Mizaki wonder if this guy is dead or alive. He has the Akuma marks all over his skin but he is wielding the Innocence like it was nothing. After moments of waiting each other for the first move. Joshua came at Mizaki first with an underhand slash, then an upper body stab. Luckily Mizaki had faced oppoents with faster movements. Just as Mizaki saw an opening he pushed his firey red rod towards his stomach. It rebounded and pushed Mizaki on his back. When he opened his eyes Joshua had already lifted his sword in a ready position to stab Mizaki from high up.

Sh*t...Need think faster

He quickly shifted to level two and stabbed his blade into the ground where a crystal pillar came up and lifted Joshua off from the ground.

"Snap out of it Joshua! If you're able to use the innocence than take control over the Akuma!"

Trudging through the thinning air near the summit, Jean lagged behind the group as he suspiciously eyed the Father leading the trek. Something about him irked him, and he was enough to stir Lorraine up.

Suddenly Jean could feel a small spark as a familiar spirit returned to his body.

"Joan?"

"Jean, there is big trouble..the young finder, Aleister is..."

Joan's words were cut short as a blood-curdling scream echoed across the mountains. The same strong winds from the earlier Akuma attacks sliced through the open crevices as the group braced and took cover.

The same Akuma from before- only larger in size and stronger in stature tore the skies as it unleashed it's ear-piercing screeches as it dived down to unleash another powerful gust. The Akuma must have somehow evolved thought Jean, which means it laid eyes on a victim.

There he was. Aleister at the end of one of the Akuma's limbs. With frozen expression of fear, the sight of the Akuma's hand lodged into the lifeless Finder's spine like a puppet angered Jean as he began discharging wild sparks of electricity around him.

"I'm sorry Jean..."

"Are those who wear that uniform always this rash?" the Father spoke calmly as he stepped to the left to avoid a wild electric bolt.

The Akuma let out another loud cry as it broke through the clouds, charging towards the group. Jean only took his stance as he held out his right arm, enveloped in a blue blade of lightning.

"For a Father, you're quite quick to judge," Jean let out a smirk as the wild and violent sparks suddenly disappeared, his hand cleanly cutting the air in a swift motion, directly facing the Akuma's path. Soon the Akuma screamed as it's body was being overcome by the controlled violence of the same sparks scorching its body, causing the beast to crash to the ground, limbs jerking suddenly in involuntary movements.

Jean then closed his eyes as the blue sparks of lightning holding the Akuma down quickly transformed into a silver metal, forming an earthbound cage where the Akuma's scorched body lay. A swift motion in Jean's right hand forced the metal to tightened as the Akuma let out a tired scream.

"Jean, stop it!" Lorraine shouted from the back. From where she was, it looked like torture- the disfigured soul in the Akuma was in pain as it's body was being crushed. Not only that but Aleister's body was being pounded between the rocky terrain and the Akuma in the process.

"You should stop it dear..." Joan's voice echoed in his mind. Jean was aware of what he was doing, yet some part of him did not want to stop. "Please.."

Jean's eyes lay on the young finder's body- the same Finder who was finally on his first field mission. His corpse doesn't deserve this.

"Not quite the traditional burial there my boy," the Father's voice sounded from behind as he chuckled with a hint of mockery.

"Oh don't worry," Jean turned around as he waved his hand. The metal surrounding the Akuma and the boy's corpse suddenly came loose as it reformed with accompanying sparks to a more suitable shape- a large silver coffin around the body.

"Will that do, Father?"

"Yer countenance appears most unsightly. Continue, ye shall, and all shall repent for their acts against the Savior," Anderson spoke. "Love yer brothers and sisters in Christ, and only use violence against Heretics and Monsters..."

With that, Anderson walked up the mountain, his coat heavy and sounding like a chain going from side to side; he came to a ledge and kicked a rock over - only to hear no sound.

"Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits," he continued.

"You are one to talk," Jean mimicked.

"Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath," Anderson chimed back.

There was sparse communication. The father recited verses, and few wanted to hear them.

Then, they entered the clouds. The gust was stronger than elsewhere below, and was not well understood. As they came through the clouds, there stood one of the young Exorcists, next to some woman who seemed to have some power; And in front of both of them stood a man filled with rage and solitude. He wished to have his power to destroy; and she wanted her power to entice. They stood there and called together: "Who are thou to come before us? Do you wish to anger the Gods?"

"Hold no god before the Lord... Ye be no God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience," Anderson seemed to have his blood boil as the man released an oppressive aura, limiting their movement. Anderson still drew some bayonets from his cloak... but was only beginning to prepare.

Joshua, under the power of Aphrodite was entranced in a state of total ecstasy his mean while his body was under the complete control of the false gods. There power influencing his actions he was unaware of his very surrounding. Using the shifting ability of his sword he created a war hammer to shatter the crystal. With a stroke he fractured the crystal and his second blow shattered it freeing Joshua. Falling from the height from which the crystal had lifted him fragments of the crystal rained down. Joshua shifted the hammer into a spear ready to impale his opponent below.

Rave/Zenryu slithered through the shadows, his heat vision guiding his steps to the presence of several figures. He sensed that the entire area was filled with hostility, for this was the realm of the gods, where mortals were not welcome. A glance at the figures showed one's heat increasing, and turning on the others. Clearly he was an enemy, attacking others. Without thought, the berserk sword grabbed on a crystalline stalagmite and launched itself up, positioned directly above the attacker. Seeing him raise his weapon, ready to crush him target, Rave/Zenryu launched itself forward unto him. The sword slapped against the handle of the spear and a hard foot pushed Joshua to the side with a quick kick to the ribs.

Hitting the ground hard Joshua three of Joshua's ribs fractured, however do to the fact that his mind was in another place he was unable to feel the pain. Joshua had become little more then a mindless drone. Staggering to his feet Joshua shifted his weapon into a sword, charging forward he made long arced swing towards Rave and letting go of one of his hand he materialized his gun Omega and fired two shots which if hit their target would burst into flame.

Rave's eyes glowed red, in a split second he moved away from the bullets and slammed his sword against Joshua's, blocking it. As the blades rang from the impact Rave stepped backwards, sliding his blade along the other one. Sparks flew from the swords, and suddenly Rave turned, catching both bullets with Zenryu. The blade burst into flames and Rave continued to turn, hitting Joshua with the now-burning katana. However he miscalculated in his berserk status and stumbled slightly, leaving his left open to an attack. Seeing Raves opening Joshua Shifted his sword back into the war hammer and with full force in the ribs sending him reeling.

Rave rolled through the air, smashing painfully against a hard wall of a cliff, dangerously leaning above a chasm. He was surprised, that was not there before. Then he remembered where he was. The area could change within seconds, so he had to finish this quickly. With his opponent not feeling pain, he took a different course. Ignoring the searing pain from his ribs - not hard, given he was in a distant corner of his mind - he dashed forward, straight into the arc of the swinging hammer. He grabbed Joshua's forearm and dragged him around, twisting his arm, then altering his grip on the sword and cutting the back of Joshua's knee.

Blood began to spill from Joshua's leg which then slither it's way around the damaged leg, allowing Joshua to continue to use it while the tendons were cut. Banishing the hammer Joshua with his other arm reach around and fired two shots point blank range at Raves chest.

Rave's mouth locked painfully, his teeth gritting against each other in a painful manner. The searing pain from his chest threatened to send what litt
