Up to the North of Kyou is a lake with water crystalline and pure, rumored to heal wounds and rejuvenate the ill. People of the district have always considered the lake as a sign of good fortune from their guardian, Genbu. His kind and caring persona were often described just as the lake's water was... Transparent and clear. During the time the Earl was in control of the beast, the water turned murky and toxic, almost killing all those who drank from it. The lucky ones were injected with chronic virii that slowly ate at their life's span as time flew by.

A few hundred years later, and after losing the gems to an imperial platoon, the water's clarity was restored, but its healing powers were not indicating the dissatisfaction of the area's guardian.

Rules:
1- Only Yase and Leiko are allowed to RP.
2- This is a side arc, don't expect more than 2-3 XP a person.
3- Beating your side bosses/current gem handlers is a must. Beating Genbu is not. Based on your posts and interaction with the beast (once both gems are obtained), I'll evaluate whether Genbu will fight you or not.
4- Yase's gem, the heavens gem, is in current possession of a timid merchant who goes by the name Eisen. Personality-wise, Eisen is a calm, collected young man whose beauty is often envied by the ladies in the district. He loves music with a passion and is often seen playing the flute when not busy. In battle, Eisen summons waves and floods to attack his enemy (water magic)

5- Leiko's gem, the earth gem, is in the possession of a spiritual exorcist called Akram. He is one of the few people that Abe no Semei accepted as his pupils and passed his techniques and knowledge on to. Aside from his combat capabilities, Akram is a cold person with little to no words to express his feelings towards anything. He seems disinterested in the world's leisures despite being quite attractive for his age. It is rumored that Akram hides his face behind a mask because of a scar he sustained at a young age.

In a tavern somewhere out there

Yase woke with a gasp. A dream, yet so real that the vivid images still throbed inside his head. And Yase was left with that same longing that he had in the dream, no it was defiently a vision, he concluded, no dream could give him this feeling.

Sitting up in bed he brought his hand forth and clenched his fist. It was there, that shining stone that he had held and had felt so much power flow from it, he had held it in his hand, and he could still feel the rough edges, as if it had really been nesting there.

A man with a flute and a turtle spiraled in his head, two corresponding images that left him with hate and understanding. He must find these people, one would give wisdom, the other would be the one carrying HIS gem.

Yase's mind flashed once again and one last crystal clear image was left floating there, an image of a map guiding him to his destination. Yase's eyes turned towards the window in his dark room and he could no longer hold the excitment in, something with power was waiting out there, and it had Yase's name on it, so much so that Yase jumped out of bed and began collecting his things.

He set out at first light, heading towards the sunrise, where his dreams met reality.

Where the mountains meet the sea.

Yase had followed the path that faced the sun tirelessly for 3 days now. In the first day he had moved from the taverns path into the mountains, they had been omniously potrayed, with storm clouds leering behind them, yet Yase had pushed on. Through the winds and snow he had travelled resting only to regain his strength or when the winds became too strong. It had taken him 2 days to progress through the trecherous mountains and he had been welcomed at the end by the site of cliffs overlooking the sea.

It was then and only then did Yase sit down for a proper rest and think about how he would cross the ocean that now had risen up to block his route. Resting with his legs dangling over the cliffs Yase found himself again clenching his fist in rememberance of the dream where he had held the gem. Yase had no qualms with flying directly over the sea using his akuma form, but something in his brain told him that should he do that, something bad would happen. Instead Yase set to making himself a raft out of the many tree's that surrounded the cliff face.

Soon. Soon he would enter the land known as Kyou.

Just the cut of a kodachi, and the black blood of the akuma sparayed everywhere, while the other akuma was there, watching the scene expresionless. That level 1 carried a message from the Earl, telling her that she should go back "home".

Like as if I'll go back now, ou-san

After unnecessarily killing one of the akuma, Leiko walked towards the other akuma this one didn't reacted, just stayed there with its usual blank expression. She glared at it.

"I'm keeping you alive for one reason. You hear me, you worthless machine? Send this message to that old man, if your brain can retain so much information. Tell him that I'm not going back until I finish what I came to do"

The akuma stayed still, and she was starting to get annoyed about this. "Now go and tell him!" she ordered and the akuma slowly turned around and flew away.

Yeah, no way I'm coming back now, I don't care about your complicated plots ou-san

She couldn't come back. not after those visions she had been having lately. The Noah hardly sleep but each time she tried to do it those dreams were hunting her. Tha feeling, that cold feeling, so cold that it seemed it would freeze her to the bones and mostly, that feeling of power, and overall that feeling of taking back that control she was looking for so long. No, there's no way she will go back now.

Leiko din't know how, but she knew exactly where she was going and, she was near the North of Kyou she could feel it. It felt like innocence, but different, she just couldn't describe it, but of one thing she was sure, it was the same feeling she had before on her visions: Control.

This was one of the few time Leiko was acting without thinking, just following her instincts and that excited her in a way.

I have no idea of what this feeling could possibly be, but if there's one thing I'm sure of... I don't care who gets in my way, I'll just get rid of any nuissance that dare cross my path...

In the middle of the Ocean

Yase wiped the sweat off his brow and stared out to the horizon.

Nothing but more sea, something so long it could swallow you and spit you out and you would still be going, forever on. Yase was confused, according to the map he retained in his head, he should be very close to finding the island of Kyou, and yet all he could see was a horizon stretching forever. It made no sense, not to mention that the sun was so hot it was causing him to sweat proficiously, if he changed he would not feel the suns rays so strongly, but as he was in his human form, his blood still ran hot.

Then it happened. Something in the distance... A faint line approaching. Yase quickly withdrew the looking glass that he had brought to accompany him on the journey. His eyes trained the horizon and then he saw it. A deep fog, slowly creeping across the sea. He checked his map to reveal that he was only 3 km from the island and yet he could see nothing.

The deep fog that fast enclosed him was as thick as any that Yase had seen. He could barely see a metre infront of him, yet alone see where the raft was taking him. All that he could do was trust the map that guided him in his mind.

Half an hour past and suddenly a cracking noise followed by a massive lurch sent Yase flying through the air and into... Not the water! Sand!

Yase got up and found that he was on a beach and ahead of him stood a massive island, populated by villagers and small towns. He was suddenly very aware that he was now on the island of Kyou. Some how Yase got the feeling that it wasnt you that found the island, rather the island found you.

Smiling at the irony, that he didnt have to search himself, Yase began to climb the stairs that lead up the cliff face, towards his first town.

The gates of a village, name is yet to be found out.

Yase approached the gate of the first village after climbing the cliff face. He scanned the entrance and saw that there were only two guards that sat at an outpost, of which the village was surrounded by wooden spiked walls.

Strange, that such a insignificant village would have need for defences. This is something to keep in mind.

Yase pulled his hood over his head to cover his blindfold and scar. These kind of things usually attract unwanted attention. He slowly walked towards the gate.

As he approached, the guards at the post looked at Yase supsiciously. Yet Yase decided to take the intiative of talking to them. Perhaps he could gain some information here.

"Good day valiant defenders of this village. May I know the name of the village I am about to enter?" said Yase, his voice taking on a sickly sweet tone.

"An outsider I asume, we are inclined to search you since we dont know what kind of intentions you may be hiding. Please remove that cloak you are wearing and allow us to search your bags" the guard said gruffly, blatently ignoring Yase's question.

Yase was annoyed that these humans questioned him, but he decided not to start any trouble. Yet. So he allowed the guards to search his bags.

"Please remove the cloak outsider" said the guard in a more threatening tone this time.

"Yes, why of course" said Yase.

He removed his coat revealing the scars along his body and the particular red cross shaped scar that came down the side of his face. The reaction was visible when they saw his body.

"Those scars... Where did you get them? And that blindfold... Are you blind?" said the guard his voice raising yet again and his hand slowly dropping to the hilt of his sword.

"These scars, why Im an.. Exorcist. I got these scars in the battle against the akuma to destroy the evil Earl" said Yase smiling inwardly.

"Where is your uniform, Exorcist?" said the guard

"I am on an undercover mission for The Order. I am looking for a certain someone... Would you perhaps be able to help me on my mission?" said Yase suggestively.

"No. We dont help your kind, regardless of how good your cause is, move along Exorcist, before I have reason to put my sword through you." said the guard, ushering Yase into the town.

It is strange, the Exorcists dont seem to be looked upon favourably here. It seems it would make no difference if I was to act as one or not. Interesting.

Yase kept walking until he unintentionally found a market. This would be the perfect place to start looking for information. The guards only seemed to patrol the outside. The inside would now become his play ground.

Leiko were already tired, in fact, rather bored of walking. Even if it had been just some days ago since she had that feeling she was looking for, the fact that she were the one had to go after this feeling was something that she didn't like, really.

I'm sure that is one person the one who posses this power, I've seen him on my dreams but.... where is he??

Indeed, she was annoyed as usual.

Suddenly she knew it, that feeling was getting stronger as she approached a village surrounded by walls.

Too much security for such a place, huh?

And then she noticed guards on the entrance. Leiko first though about just killing these guard and go trought the gate but giving it a second thought she realized that maybe, at least this time, hold back would be the best option so, instead of walking towards the gate she walked away around the wall and looking for a blind spot on it. Afte some time looking for it, she eventually found one and thanks to her Noah powers, she was able to quickly jump over it even if it was a high wall and once she landed she looked around.

Yosh.... no one is around te.... why am I thinking so much??

After taking those thoughts away she stood up and started to move, finally walking inside the village. As always, she just couldn't blend with the rest of the people around even while being on her light form, she just stand out too much thanks to her stylish cloths.

While all the people around were murmuring around her Leiko saw a familiar face and automatically she concealled he presence and turned around, trying to avoid him.

Why? What is that idiot of Yase here?? did the ou-san sent him?... no, I'm sure he won't follow the old man order and plus, it would be too stupid of him to send a weakling as Yase to get me

She kept walking and eventually seen a bar and walked in, hoping that Wase won't walk inside as well. The she sat at a table giving her back to the entrance, waiting to feel how Yase's presence went away. The she sighed

Good, it seems he didn't noticed that I'm here... I don't need him to get in my way

Suddenly a waitress interrupted her thought asking Leiko if she was going to have something.

"Baijiu" Leiko said simply and the waitress bowed and went away.

While she was waiting for her beverage to come, her attention was daught by some men talking. Lekko couldn't see how they looked since they were behind her but hearing the word "exsorcist" was enough to her to pay attention to these men talking.

"That exorcist Akram, acting all mighty, I just can't stand him"

"So true, the last time I went to his house on the outskirts of the village to bring some provisions because I was ordered to and he almost stomped on my while riding his horse"

Finally the waitress had brought a bottle a baijiu and she served some of the liquor on a cup and then she drank it whit a grin on her lips

hmm... who would say that thanks to avoiding that ahou, I'd get such good information. I don't know if this one is the person I'm looking for but at least I'll have some fun until I find him

Inside the Market

Yase suddenly stopped and glaced in a certain direction out of the corner of his eye he saw something familiar. He had not failed to see the Noah, her clothing betrayed her well, though she was gone and out of sight before Yase had time to question her on her appearance in this very town. It didnt matter, aslong as she kept out of his way, he'd keep out of her way, thats how Yase wanted it. Only if she approached him directly would he bother talking to her. Yase continued walking through the market and finally came to a store that looked like it would be able to give him some information.

"Would you like some apples? Or perhaps a pumpkin? Or even... " he paused while looking at Yase. "Some weapons?" said the shopkeeper looking around as he said it.

"No, none of that. I am simply looking for the name of a man. He has long blue hair and carries a flute with him" said Yase

The shopkeeper paused for a moment and his eyes glaced around suspiciously.

"I do not know why you are looking for a man of THAT description, but whoever he is, I do not know him" said the shopkeeper in an almost panicky voice.

Yase had had enough of this man jerking him around. He lurched forward and grabbed the man by the collar and looked him directly in the eyes with a glare. He created the effect of only his eyes turning to the akuma form, so that the glare looked incredibly menacing.

"You know something, and your going to tell me, one way or another" said Yase quietly yet so fierce that it was as if his voice caused sparks to crackle in the air.

The shopkeepers eyes widened in fear and he looked around quickly, before suprising Yase by suddenly yelling...

"Guards! Guards! Help me! This man is evil, he is trying to rob me!"

Out of no-where five people that looked just like normal market dwellers withdrew swords from all sorts of places like baskets and pockets stowed away in jackets. It was deviously set up so that any wrong doers would be suprised and overwhelmed by the sudden appearance. Yet Yase, although suprised was not overwhelmed by the five guards that now approached him with swords drawn.

"Fool!" said Yase shoving the shopkeeper to the ground. "I will deal with you after this, if you move i'll kill you instantly." and walked towards the guards with a sinister smile plastered on his face.

As he closed in on them he grabbed one of the nearby stores bamboo sticks that held up the store and renched it from its place and span it around to wield it like a bo-staff. The guards needed no reason now to hold back from their defensive position and ran at him all at once. The first guard to reach him was incredibly slow and lunged at Yase with his sword. Yase quickly lashed out with his staff and knocked the blow away, he then again span the staff around to catch the guard on the top of his chin sending him flat on his back.

The second guard to attack him was split seconds behind the first guard and Yase just had time to dodge a blade that grazed along the side of his body. Yase reversed the staff and sent it spinning back around to hit the second guard in the face with sending him sprawling to the ground.

The other three guards now seeing what Yase had done to their comrades slowed their approach and decided to wait till Yase came to them. This would, in a usual situation, with usual humans, give the guards a definite advatage. But because Yase was not human he did not apply to those rules. Yase half transformed his feet, giving him the power of his thrusters, this allowed him to propel himself forward at an incredible rate suprising the guards that were now on guard for a normal attack.

As Yase flew by he span the staff into the legs of one of the three guards sending him flipping off his legs and smashing his face into the ground. Yase turned his body and his feet slid along with the momentum backwards along the ground creating a trail of dust and dirt. The second guard came at him expecting that Yase would now be caught off guard but instead Yase kicked out with a thruster causing the guard to be pushed back smashing into a nearby store and causing the store to fold in on itself and land ontop of the guard.

The last guard now seeing what had happened to his last two comrades decided to drop his weapon and flee towards the exit of the market. Yase would not allow him to bring help.

Yase threw the staff into the air and it began to flip, and as it reached its maximum height it began to drop, still flipping. As Yase watched the staff he jumped into the air and flipped, scorpian kicking the staff at the exact right time using the thrusters to send it flying like an arrow through the air and piercing the guard through the stomach. The guard clutched his stomach and fell to the ground face first, blood spilling from his wound.

All was quiet and everyone in the market had stopped what they were doing to observe the fight. As it finished the market again entered its busy state, some of the market goers steering clear of Yase, but otherwise an unusual reaction. It didnt matter.

Yase slowly walked up to the store that he had been at before and reaching down underneath the counter he pulled the storekeeper up by his throat and calmly said.

"Where were we... ? Oh thats right. You were just about to tell me where I could find the man with the blue hair and the flute."

"Ah yes" the store keeper stammered and smiled weakly "That... that... thats right".

Leiko finished her bottle of baijiu and leaving some money on the table she stood up and left with a smile on her face after finally finding out the whereabouts of that exorcist.
When she walked out of th bar, she could hear the sound of a commotion away from that bar.

Why do I have a bad feeling about all that ruckus

She walked away from all the noise.

I bet is that ahou of Yase

Ignoring this she kept walking towards that blind spot of the wall she had jumped on some time ago thinking about the information she heard from that conversation.

An arrogant exorcist who lives in the outskirt of this village. East side... everything I need to know to have some fun

Then Leiko reached the wall when somthing stopped her.

"Hey! stop there! Who are you!?"

Sho looked over her shoulder to see how a guard was pointing his sword at her.

"Pointing your sword to a lady? Not an act of chivalry, really" She said with a frightening smile which made the guard step back.

"D-Don't move, you... I'll call reinforcements if you move"

"Oh I fear that I won't let you do that, my dear" and quickly she raised her arm pointing the palm of her hand to the guard and using only one of her spiders she shoot this one, which turned into a needle and pierced the man throat.

"Eventually you'll die, but you won't bother me with calling those reinforcements"

Not caring about the agonizing man behind her she jumped over the wall again, getting out of the village and started to head to the east running. Leiko wanted to do this as fast a possible so she could keep looking for what she have felt in her visions.

The sky was starting to get darker and the cloud started to group. The weather was bad the whole day, but it seemed as if it was going to get worse.

Running at a fast speed, she look around the east side of the area and evntually she found a humble house in the middle of nowehere and she felt it again and froze. Rain started to fall.

What?.... this should be the house of that exorcist then... why am I sensing this here? It can't be! This is the person who have this power right now

Leiko smiled, pleased

Then it seems that besides having fun, I'll accomplish my goal

Suddenly, much to her surprise, the front door of the house opened and she saw how a man walked outside and under the rain

"Who are you, intruder?".

The man askend. Leiko glared at him. He was a really attactive man and he was wearing a typical ceremonial costume, not an exorcist uniform and on his face, he was waring a colorful mask.

"I assume you're Akram"

"I have asked you who are you?"

"Me? I'm only a humble lady that wanted to meet the famous exorcist" She said in a sarcastic tone. It was starting to rain heavier and under this rain, she started to change, her skin turned darker and the cross-shaped scars ripped open on her forehead. Akram lookd at her "What, you don't belive me, exorcist?"

"Ah Noah I see. What does someone of your kind want with me"

Leiko started to walk slowly towards him.

"Well, we're natural enemies but besides that I can feel it in you... you're not as any other exorcist, aren't you?. I'm here to take from you that what makes you special, excorcist" The expression on Leiko's face was that of a true blood-thirsty demon, but instead of blood, she was craving for that power, for that feeling of control.

She was excited about this, when suddenly she saw how Akram moved one of his fingers and Leiko jumped off the looking back and seeing how a black shadow came up from the ground right behind from where she was standing. It seems that this shadows wanted to hold her leg.

"If you intend to catch me with those you're done for exorcist" she said while laying back to the ground "Dukkha-dukkha" she said, and her two steel-fans materialized on her hands and she took her stance, ready to attack.

"You should not underestimate you opponent, Noah"

Moving his hands up, like moving puppets, he made more black shadows to came up from the ground, they looked almost like demons or those which some people called "bad spirits" and then, Akram moved his hands towards Leiko. The shadows moved at an incredibly fast speed, almost as Leiko's faster movements. She tried to cut one of the shadows with her war-fan but the weapon just went throught it and she had to move fast to escape this attack. Some of those shadows almost reached her and even wounded her flesh, but neither of these wound were deep enough to restrain her movements.
It was turning quiet hard for her to keep dodging those shadows but suddenly, after some seconds, the shadows went back to the ground.

It was reining really hard, and Leiko was completely soaked, but she didn't mind, she focuse on these shadows.

hmmm... I see how this works

After some seconds, the shadows reappeared and went after her again. Suddenly Akram, who had his eyes focused on Leiko's movements noticed that one of her steel-fans was gone and, while she was on the air still avoiding the shadows, she pointed the palm of her free hand at him.
"Seishi Bosatsu!". Countless spiders where shooted towards him and they turned into needles. Akram tried to dodged this attack but it was not fast enough and the several long needles pierced both his legs and his right arm.

Leiko laughed at the exorcist who was struggling to stand even with these injuries.

"Don't overdo it excorsit... or you'll die" She said in a mocking tone.

"I just told you not to underestimate me". He open his left hand and two shadows appeared, this time they didn't came up from the ground, they just matrialized right behind him. Akram then moved his hand forward and these shadows rushed at Leiko again. She had to dodged them again but in a second, she accidentally brushed against one of those shadows and sensed something different. They weren't shadows this time, they were solid black masses with the shape of demons. One of them taking advantage of the brief moment of distraction, grabbed one of Leiko's arms and pulled of it, send her flying towards a nearby tree, blowing her against it and breaking it in two. The Leiko fell to the muddy ground.

Leiko eventually stood slowly while she released one of her spiders to bite her and heal the pain of that previous blow.

"Now you did it exorcist" She was angry now.

With most of her energy restorted thanks to the poison of her own spider, she released two more spiders.
"Niou!". These spiders grew as tall as Leiko and instantly charged against the shadows, engaging in battle with them and easily taking over them

Akram was shaking. The blood loss due to the injuries beause of the needles and the cold rain wasn't helping to the fact that he was getting nervous.

"Impossible... even if you're a Noah... is impossible that you can do that to my shadows!"

"Oh? are you sure you want to say that in your current condition?..." she stayed silent for a while, standing several feet away of him "... I don't think so". Leiko glared at the exorcist and she whisper in a cold tone while rainsing her hands at him: "Naraka"

With this single word, a thick spider-web was shoot in Akram direction. He tried to run away from it but he wasn't able to do it because of his injuried legs, ending trapped in this sticky and unbreakable web. The Leiko's left eyse changed from red to a deep blue color while she was coming closer to him, until she was face to face with him.

"Like this, I'll kill you slowly exorcist but since is troublesome I'll just have fun with you just a little" Leiko's grin almost glowed under the heavy rain. Then Akram looked at her left eye and sense a even colder feeling running through his body. Eventually his vision blurred and then everything was darknes.

"Wha-what have you've done to me!?" Akram desperately screamed

"Now my dear..." Leiko carresed his face "... you're blind and that will increase all your other senses but I don't care, I'm curious about something" Slowly, Leiko unleashed the the strings holding his mask.

"No! not my mask!!"

"hmm... now I see why you were wearing this mask, that's a really ugly scar but, even with that scar..." She carresed that crossed his forehead and part of his nose. "... you're quiet attractive, too bad you're an exorcist and oh!, the fact that you're about to die".

After finishin this statment, Leiko movent her right arm and made it as rigid as she could and moved it forward piercing and going through Akram's chest. The exorcist's eyes were wide open and the spark of life there was vanishing gradually.

Moving her hands Leiko freed the exorcist's limp body which fell to the ground, covered in blood, but this blood was eventually washed away by the rain.

She looked at the exorcist's dead body and felt again that power and then she could see something glowing through his clothes from his collarbone. Leiko sliped her hand into his clothers and teared off the chain holding a gem.

This... this is what I saw on my dreams. Is unbelievable how holding something so small make me feel this way She smiled at the white gem on her hand. The rain was gradually stopping when she finally put this gem on he pocket.

She sighed.

I definitely need some rest after all this

Leiko turned around and, while the last drops of rain were falling she walked away, leaving behind Akram's empty house.-

On the way to Eisens store

"He's a merchant, his name is Eisen, you can find him near the church" said the storekeeper

Throwing the storekeeper aside Yase made his way toward the church. This part of the town seemed to be much more high class than the rest. Only reserved for the most rich of merchants and tradesman, Eisen it seemed was a popular and rich individual. Though it didnt matter who he was, all Yase knew was that this Eisen person had HIS gem. Now he would be the one to take it from the cold dead hands of his corpse.

Approaching the church he looked around the area to make sure that there were no guards hanging around suspiciously. Though once the fight started it would matter little if anyone came, since Yase would completely transform to kill Eisen. It happened that the store that Eisen operated was much bigger than any of the market stores that Yase had passed earlier, his store was more like a building than a little hut.

Yase decided that it was now or never, and he was going to retrieve the gem that he so rightfully deserved. Walking over to the store Yase saw that it was Eisen who was standing there serving the market goers. This would be easier than he thought. Yase approached him directly.

"Hello, Eisen" said Yase, a demonic smile appearing on his face.

"Hello, how do you know my name if you dont mind me asking? I dont believe we've ever met" said Eisen in a calm manner.

"Oh, you see, you've never met me, but I have met you and I know you very well. And ive come to retrieve something thats mine" said Yase again flashing his grin of pure malice.

"I see" said Eisen with a frown. "It seems that it is calling for you. You shouldnt let the gem manipulate you like that, it will try and use you." said Eisen in concern.

"Hah, manipulate me you say? I have come here on my own steed and I only seek the gem to gain the power that comes with it." said Yase with a sneer.

"Well, some have come before you, they thought the same. Though they didnt beat me, and neither will you!" said Eisen

Suddenly Eisen raised a flute to his mouth and began playing a tune. Up from the ground infront of Yase a wave of water lept up and rushed at Yase, with no time to react Yase was pulled back and smashed against the wall by the wave of water, pinning him to the wall.

"HAHAHA" Yase cackled "This is exactly how I like it, give me a struggle merchant!" Yelled Yase and as he said this his akuma form burst forth from his body. The thrusters took over and pushed Yase up and away from the wall of water so that it dropped down to become a large puddle on the ground. Yase landed next to the puddle with a boom as his feet hit the ground dust kicked up. Just as he landed Eisen rushed at him flute to mouth and began playing a different tune and giant flood began to form infront of Eisen as he approached.

"Amazing what that gem is capable of! Im going to enjoy prying it from your body!" said Yase

As the flood approached Yase stuck out one of his cannons and fired a Ball of Infinity into the wall of water, as the Ball of Infinity hit the wall it sucked in the water making the Ball become both Air and Water properties. Piercing through the wall of water it slammed into the ground near where Eisen was, imploding and causing Eisen to be thrown through the air his back hitting the second level of the building, sending his body falling down to crumple on the ground. The wall of water that had been infront of Yase now disipated into another big puddle on the ground coming up to Yase's ankles.

Yase whiped the blood away from his mouth that had appeared after he was intially slammed into the wall, putting his finger in his mouth he sucked off the blood that had been whiped there. The flute that Eisen had had to his mouth now lay on the ground, but Eisens hand suddenly shot out and grabbed it and he struggled to his feet, a large cut on his forehead.

It seemed now that the merchant was serious as a glare had appeared on his face.

"Foolish, akuma. You will never take this gem, I am someone that uses this gem as it was supposed to be used. I will not let you take it to use it for evil, I help the people of this island when they are in need, they require my help in the floods season to keep the crops from getting wrecked! Will you take that from them!?" yelled Eisen with anger and emotion clearly shown on his face.

"How noble. But I intend to use that gem for much greater things than your helping those petty farmers, the gem wants greater power too. Though you may have the gem, you are still but a mortal and you will go no-where." said Yase with finality.

"So be it, I will try and crush you enough so that the guards will be able to stop you from using this gem... EVEN IF IT COSTS ME MY LIFE!" yelled Eisen

As he yelled the last line, he raised the flute to his mouth and played an intricate tune filled with lots of highs and lows, and as he did this the large puddle of water began to rise and surround Yase.

"WHAT!?" said Yase suprised at the sudden turn of events.

The water began to make a square and filled in to trap Yase in a prison of pressure filled water.

Shit I cant breathe!

"At this point im sure you thinking 'I cant breathe'? Well thats the point of this attack. It will trap you in the pressure of the water and cause you to die due to lack of air, either that or the pressure will crush you, its quite a move really, I made it myself" said Eisen.

Hmph, I guess its time to use my full power.

Yase tensed himself and began to cause air to burst forth from his thrusters and arm cannons, pushing back the water pressure that surrounded him.

"No, you wont escape!" yelled Eisen

The water pressure began to increase pushing back the air that was now thrusting out from Yase's body.

Damn it, I HAVE TO PUSH IT BACK!

With this rush of thought Yase suddenly expelled a massive amount of air exploding out from the prison and causing the water to splash out everywhere, as Yase did this the air pressure from the blast of air that was expelled not only pushed back the water but also came through and slammed into Eisen. Smashing into him it sent him flying and caused massive gashes to suddenly rip into his body. The merchant hit the ground and his body rolled and flailed like a rag doll, his flute flew from his hand and landed a couple metres behind Yase.

Yase went over and bending down he slowly picked up the flute.

"You see, that is your limitation mortal. You only rely on the power of this gem to help, and on the power of this gem alone. You see I on the other hand, have my own power that I can combine with this gem, to make me more powerful. The gem and I will work hand in hand, and it wont matter what this was originally created for, because I shall make my own path, towards my own date with destiny." said Yase and snapped the flute in half.

The shape that the gem originally took for Eisen was that of the mouth piece of the flute, but as Yase snapped the flute the gem turned back into its most raw form, a circular gem, of blue colour and fell from the flute landing in Yase's hand.

Yase made his way over to the ragged looking merchant his face flat on the ground and kicked him over on to his back. The merchant looked up at Yase, his face covered in blood, with fear in his eyes.

"I will spare you merchant, since it does not require me to take it from you physically. You will live with the knowledge that you were defeated by someone who will use this gem for their own purpose and not for others. You will live with the knowledge that I am out there, creating havoc and killing people and you will live with the knowledge that you couldnt stop me." said Yase and walked off in the general direction of the exit to the town.

As he walked he held the gem in his hand and could feel the power that pulsed from it, he knew that it accepted him as its master, and would take on what shape he wanted.

He smiled, for once actually happy, now he had power to go his own way.

This time she wasn't running. Leiko wasn't in a hurry anymore not when she had finilly reach her goal. And not now when she was this tired.

While walking towards the village, all alone in the fields of the outskirts of the town, she took out of her pocket the gem she just had got and look at it whil it was on the palm of her hand. The white color of it was stained with some of Akram's blood and that make her thought that she'll need to clean it properly later.

Leiko fisted her right hand while holding the gem and looked up at the sky to see the colors of the sunset, while a gentle breeze made her long black hair fly around her, making her at ease for the first time in many years.

Now... what to do with this?

She kept walking until she was near the village again. This time she was going to get into it in the "normal" way, letting those guards stop her at the entrance and trying to give them a good reason to be let in.

I'm not in the mood to get into a fight... I just hope those guard doesn't give me a reason to change my current mood.

Right then a strong wind blew, startling her a little and what surprised her the most was the fact that the ground under her feet was starting to shake quiet violently until craks were showed up on it.
Leiko stepped back at this.

An earthquake?... Here??

The clear sunset sky turned dark again and a heavy rain started to pour down again all of a sudden. and the water filled the cracks on the ground. The wind was blowing stronger, making the air around her colder.

Right in front of her eyes the water in the crack started to solidify and grow taking into a strange shape.

Leiko had to step back again, shocked about seeing how the shape was starting to change until it looked like something similar to a giant tortoise.

What the...

Surprising her even more, this tortoise-like mount of ice started to shine, so bright that Leiko was blinded by it and suddenly she felt something piercing her wrist.
The pain was like something she never felt before, so indescribable... "excruciating" was that word that fitted that feeling the most but it was not enough. She felt like the muscles or her arm were ripping slowly.
She fell on her knees, screaming, even tears were flowing from on her eyes and she shut the tightly and while she was feeling ase her hand was ripped off bit by bit she had visions again.
They were to the define but she was sure of one thing, it has something to do with that feeling that made her come this far. Power and control and for some reason, she was enjoying this.

As sudden as it had come, the pain was gone, and Leiko opened her eyes in shock, almost like a little girl weaking up from a nightmare with tears on her eyes. In a thirll, she grabbed her wrist and looked at it. A black mark, something like a tattoo was now on the her right wrist and it had the shape of an spider.

"So, now you're the new owner of one of my gems?"

Leiko looked up quickly only to see in front of her a giant old tortoise. It took her several seconds for her to react until she finally said something and she had forced herself to not let her voice shake.

"Who... no, what are you?"

"I'm Genbu of the earth, the original owner of that gem you're carrying now on your wrist, young lady".

I have a bad feeling about this

((Ice: now maybe with all the fuss you can come, meet Genbu and join the party XD))

(Sorry I took so long, I broke up with my gf recently and well as you can imagine I havnt really felt like RPing. But im back now)

Near the Gate

Yase saw the monster rise and hurried over to its location, the ground shaking like an earthquake. He reached the monster and suddenly as soon as he got there a bright light flashed and he was blinded, pain shooting through his entire body, he was brought to his knee's in agony.

What is this?

As the light cleared he could see again and he could also feel that he was now different, there was something in his body, as he thought this he touched his chest and felt pain shoot up his body. Looking at his chest he saw that he now had blue tattoo's etched throughout his body.

Looking up Yase saw the Noah Leiko staring up at the beast, it seems that it had just said something to Leiko. Yase stepped forward and said with a growl..

"I should have known you'd be here"

((Well, since this thread isn't closed yet, I thought about posting something so we can finish this :p))

"I should have known you'd be here"

Leiko was looking at the one who claimed to be Genbu when those words distracted her attantion and looked away, only to see Yase standing near the creature.

She stood on her feet and glared at the akuma.

"Then you're slow... I knew you where here all the time. Did the ou-san send you after me?"

"I know you're arrogant but you're not the center of the universe, Leiko. The business I have here has nothing to do with you."

"Mah, ikka" Then Leiko looked back at Genbu, who was still standing there, silent.

"So?... you're here to fight us and recover the gems that belonged to you?

"Oh no lady, not at all, you two got the gems because you were meant to get them so there's nothing I can do about it"

"Then, why are you here in front of us?" asked Yase

"You over there..." Leiko glared with frightening eyes at Yase "...I know now why you're here, but you stay out of this, akuma"

It was obvious that Yase frowned at this, even if he was blinfolded and when he was about to speak Genbu interrupted him.

"I'm here just to give you two an advice."

Yeah, that's what I need right now... a giant old tortoise giving advices to me

"The advice I wanted to gave to you..." Genbu kept talking, even if Leiko's was wearing a expression of disinterest on her face about what the deity was saying "... you might now have those gems, and they're craved on your bodies. It might give you a great power and you will like it, enjoy it but, if you are not wise enough to control and use that power, that strenght might turn aginst you and then it will be too late to step back"

"So? that's all you have to say?" replied Leiko to the advice the wise deity gave to them.

Genbu looked at her in the eyes, not in a defiant way, but rather like he was feeling sorry for her. "I have to agree with what the young man over there said just moments ago, you're arrogant, lady. I just hope that besides arrogant, you are also wise... for your own good" There were no venom on his words, they were sincere. Leiko just looked at him silently.

Then Genbu looked at Yase.

"I hope my words are useful for you too, young man"

Yase also remained silent.

"Well, with that being said I will take my leave, just remember, be wise, or the power of the gems will consume you."

With those words, Genbu's body started to shine as it did minutes ago, blinding both Yase and Leiko. They were barely able to see how its body turned again into that giant piece of ice and once the light was gone, the ice instantly melte into water, bathing the gound and being absorbed by it eventually, while the clouds on the sky started to disperse so the last rays of the sunset would go through.

Leiko looked at her wrist, at the gem which had carved into her skin.

Be wise or the power will consume me, huh?

Leiko looked up at Yase and then frowned while walking towards him but instead of stopping in front oh him, she kept walking past him.

"And you better don't show up in front of me again akuma... the next time I see you, I'll kill you".

Yase turned back to retort at this but when he did, Leiko was already gone and nowhere to be found.

"tch... kuso-onna"
