Before you say that I'm already being unfaithful with my e-wife, I'll explain that I got tremendous inspiration from a certain user's name to make this long before. The challenge was conforming to my own improvised poetic structure of syllables and constant rhyme.

and although, your name only appears once, this is for you Rei.

Rei of Sunshine

Dark clouds loom
Shadowing gloom
Please save me from my doom
To see her wonderful bloom
Of petals

In the rain
All that I gain
The cost of being sane
To feel the horrible pain
Of nothing

Under the moon
I start to swoon
Wishing she would come soon
Singing songs out of tune
Of sadness

Away from light
Lost in the night
Wandering as a wight
Longing for the wondrous sight
Of beauty

I start to run
To find the one
Source of my light and fun
To rise with the heartwarming Sun
Of glory

You are away
I'm here to stay
I shall wait for the day
To feel that one glorious Rei
Of sunshine

A nice piece which used the theme of a person who sees one they love and falls head over heels, The only problem I can find with it really isn't a problem even in my opinion but rather the title with which you've used the play of words

Rei of Sunshine so you can better personalize it for her as a gift somehow detracts from the rest of the piece as it's funny whilst the rest is serious in a way..

^^ But anyhow I liked it and I'm sure rei will to.
