Anybody else heard anything by these guys?
I was impressed with some of their lyrics, and some of the tunes are pretty catchy.
My favie songs by em ATM are:
Who i am hates who i've been
be my escape
First few words of "Who i am hates who i've been":
"I watched the perverbial sunrise
coming up over the pacific end
you might think that i am losing my mind
but i will shy away from the spacifics
because i dont want you to kno
where i am
cause hten you'll see my heart
in the sadest state it's ever been
this is no place
to try and live my life"
You cant tell me those lyrics dont p0wnzor. How often do you hear artists actually use words and speak a story? i hear artists try, but this one really stands out to me. It uses story, metaphors, examples..so kewl, lovable, truly ^_^

relient k is awesome! i've seen them 3 times in concert and i've been listening to them since they put out their first album (self-titled) on gotee records about 5 or 6 years ago. if you like their newest album, mmhmm, i highly recommend giving their second album, the anatomy of the tongue in cheek, a listen. actually, listen to all of their albums because they're pretty darn good. i'm so proud of them, they've come such a long way.

yah. their lyrics (for me at least) have always been memorable. they can do serious lyrics and fun stuff too.
yay for silly songs (from their version of the 12 days of christmas):
whats a partridge?
and whats a pear tree?
I don't know so please don't ask me

i saw rk play about three weeks ago with mxpx, go betty go, and rufio. heaven. that's what it was. all the bands were pretty spiffy. jumping in large crowds with hundreds of people is fun and good for your heart.
