I'd have to say, instant noodles :lol
Just because it's so convenient, I don't know how i'd live without it.
Note to posters:The man from Semprini, he say:
Well give an opinion as to why it's the "Best EVAR!" Or I'll close this thread :lol

As for what I think is the best invention... is the internal combustion engine. Without it there would be no modern world. No airplanes, cars, ships, etc.

it's a tough one
I'm tempted to say the internet, but I would have to say agriculture since... well, if we didn't have it way back when we'd still be wandering around the earth as hunters and gatherers :)

The computer
I think so because we use them for everything now a days. They just make life that much easier for everyone. Where would we be without them xd

Math.
Because without Math, we wouldn't have boolean logic, or the abacus (the first ever computer), and thus we'd be nothing more than a disorganized bunch of hunter-gatherers still.
That, or maybe language, for the same reason.

Hum.. I was gonna say the wheel or something like that but to me it'd have to be antibiotics.
Since their creation they've saved so many lives from infectious diseases and such that may have otherwise caused serious problems.

Hmmmm.... The lightbulb! Gives off light and is sooooo much more efficient than a lantern and a candle. Thank you thomas edison!

There was a survey on this.
Guess what won?
The toothbrush.
That's right. Because it actually helps in extending our lifeline by decades.
And I don't think things like music and math register, because they weren't really "invented", rather "discovered" and harnessed for our use.
I'd have to say either clothes, or computers.

Yeh i guess the toothbrush does make sense, I also think the best invention is the flushing toilet, it makes chucking one a lot more hygenic for everyone and is also not as smelly as an outhouse.
Antiseptics, saves millionns of lives ERRDAY! XD Infections galore and whatnot, otherwise. We'd all live very short lives.

I've deleted three posts that don't state why an invention is the best ever. Please give a reason as to why it's the best ever... make it short and sweet to get your point across D=

Hmmm. I'd have to say the telephone.
Why? Because it made contacting people so much easier. And it led to the cellphone, which I think everyone can see why it's so great. Or bad. Depending on your opinion on that.
Lol at the toothbrush. Agreed, another great invention. Minty freshness....
I agree with sub. shinagami, that the internet is the best invetion

Computers. We wouldnt be here without them.
Well I have 5 of them...^^
#5 is of course
This (http://golfsgoofiestgadgets.com/featuredgadget.htm) Because lets face it next time I'm shooting a golf ball at my best buddy's nuts I want to make sure he feels the hit.
#4 Comes in very close to 5th as
This (http://totallyabsurd.com/jetpropulsiongolfclub.htm) Simply because when I step up to the driving range I want to see the golf collecting dudes face as I smack a very hundred balls into the next state and give him the finger..:)..
#3 is something that really is quite smart though won't be possible until people get over the squeamishness of it and installation comes free along with battery changes..
This (http://totallyabsurd.com/subdermalwatch.htm) I just want the ability to write out secret messages to #2.
#2 is my second favorite here as it's something thats very close to home..I think i'd buy several of these and have a party..
Check it (http://totallyabsurd.com/imaginaryfriend.htm)
& Finally my #1 invention which I think is the best comes from the USA of course where else would they be worried about this..:)...I personally want ot buy one and erect it up in the local park..

I'd have to say electricity because of how reliant the populations are on it. Majority of the products we now run on electricity. Power outages tend to cause hysteria as well, such as during the black out in the Northeast of North America where New York City had no power which led to people sleeping on the steps of buildings. Two other major cities (One in Canada) had no power as well. It was just plain hectic :P
The toilet flusher! Without, we would still be doing it in yards and buckets. Getting rid of waste is such a hassle, too >.<

Um im not sure this counts as an invention well atcually i think it is, because idk if it was god or energy from some unknown source but the best invenetion ever is humans. So far the only being that has the largest brain capacity, intelligence.etc. They are the best because they are the ones who create great things, internet, electricity.
