Peace in War
Twilight Separates my two faces
Black and White are not so simple
Ever changing moods and places
Serve to delegate my thrills
As a stone tossed in a river
I cling to what I can
Adding facets, scars and sores
While made smoother by the sand
But I see two stones, I look beyond
The gloom in my own face
Once again Ive lost the war
I vanish without a trace
True silence is never know
By those that walk unchained
But I have always learned and grown
By crying in the dark
Twilight Separates my two faces
Black and White are not so simple
Ever changing moods and places
Serve to delegate my thrills
As a stone tossed in a river
I cling to what I can
Adding facets, scars and sores
While made smoother by the sand
But I see two stones, I look beyond
The gloom in my own face
Once again Ive lost the war
I vanish without a trace
True silence is never know
By those that walk unchained
But I have always learned and grown
By crying in the dark
