I am so glad for Orihime. She is now a well-developed character, even if she doesn't appear too often compared to Ichigo/Rukia/Ishida/Renji. She can stand alone without always being connected to Ichigo romantically everytime. Although I dislike chapter 223, but Orihime is doing very well in chapter 223 with Yamamoto and Hitsugaya and Matsumoto.

Usually if not with Ichigo, Orihime is always with Tatsuki. And with Ishida, and Chad. Now she appears together with Matsumoto and Hitsugaya. There is no more complaints about Orihime being clingy to Ichigo.

I really am looking forward how Orihime would interact with the Vaizards. There are so much of aspects on Orihime to look forward to.

I doubt that Yoruichi would train her well. Yoruichi would be a good mentor/trainer to Tatsuki, but not Orihime.

Anyway, I was wishing Orihime to return as an independent; offensive and defensive fighter. She should learn tai-chi, the soft gentle fighting fist that doesn't really kill but it hurts like hell (okay it kills also, but I don't think Orihime has heart to kill, just immobilize). And taiji is just what she needs. Imagine if she is like Hinata, performing the ultimate defensive and offensive barrier against her enemies.....a barrier that simply absorbed the enemy's attack and throw it back against the enemy. A taste of medicine....they say.

If it's true that the 11th Division shinigamis are afraid of Unohana Retsu, then it's likely that Unohana has a special fighting style that doesn't really kill but hurts worse than hell. Orihime needs to learn from Unohana.

Yeah, that would put Rukia hateable mode if KT decides to have Rukia kicking Ichigo's butt for making her and others so worried about Ichigo.

If not... what are we doing here?

It's tough love. He was actually pretty nice to her before that scene (offering her a chair and holding her back from going to Chad) but needed to be tough with her on the battle front. He's right. She'd been flattened if she went out for a fight.

I don't think Urahara intended Inoue to want to get stronger. She is not Ichigo. She has much lower inferiority complex compared to Ichigo. Try insult and mock Ichigo and call him weak and useless....Ichigo would just get fired up and would give all his best to train and prove Urahara wrong.

Inoue.....she has already made up her mind to want to train so that she can be stronger too and had requested that Urahara would train her too like how he trained Chad.

Instead..........

......I really think Urahara had no other hidden motives when he requested Inoue not to train to help them against Aizen.....other than the fact that he doesn't want Inoue's power to develop further. Like what other said, Inoue's power if developed fully may be possibile utilized against Ichigo-ikkou. That is why KT showed Aizen being fascinated over Orihime's photo. (hehehehe)


Inoue needs someone to inspire her back to not to give up easily. I really want to see that in the next chapter. I don't see Tatsuki doing it, cause I don't think Inoue would want to reveal shinigamis, Aizen's plan, etc to her at all.

I prefer if Hitsugaya or Matsumoto would spurred Inoue to get back into her feet. If not.....if Inoue really is depressed and decided to follow Urahara's advice (not to join in the battle), pouting or maybe perhaps end her life; Matsumoto and Hitsugaya might end up with no place to stay:LOL: I am wishing for Hitsugaya to do it, cause Matsumoto would just sugar-coat Orihime with kind words.....Hitsugaya, I see him being a snappy and grumpy (with Momo's incident) may scream some sense to Inoue.

yay, let's get back on traffic (although this wasn't technically spam - we've been discussing Orihime related things). My take on things gives me three theories:

1-1. Inoue is kidnapped by Ulquiarra theory. Here, I persume that Inoue's passage through the Dangai will be intercepted bu Ulqy, and she will be brought to Aizen, to >insert purpose here<.

1-2. Inoue gets kidnapped by Ulqy theory #2: a slight variation, maybe Inoue will be kidnapped, but this time, Ichigo will be there right in time to snatch her away into his bed... arms.

1-3. Inoue will be kidnapped bu Ulqy, but this time, she will be able to fight him and hold on long enough for rescue to come (Rukia/Captains/Ichigo).

2. Inoue saves Ichigo's ass theory: well, I'm kinda convinced that Ichi will not own Grimm in 11 seconds flat, especialy if the latter releases. So maybe, after Ichigo gets owned a little, she will arrive and save him with her shields. Then she heals him and they proceed to show Grimm where to crabs winter.

Or maybe not. I think she'll be able to tell where Urahara is, and in such a place she is rather useless - Urahara, after all, is not someone to be trifled with. Also, if Ichigo is in trouble, you think she will be able to resist the urge to save him?

And about Ulqy's number, nobody knows this. Most likely he is of a high rank, though. Orihime doesn't have to stand up to him... if she goes to save Ichigo, she will only have to block Grimm, who may or may not be stronger.

I believe that the general defintion of "flame" is any rude or offensive post. For example when you tell someone outright that they are a b.i.t.c.h, and asshole, fu*ked-up shithead, or something similiar, that is flame.

When you, however, point to someone that they have nothing behind them beside their own imagination, in an indirect way, by proving them wrong, actually, it is not flaming... it is called debating :).

Orihime is my fav fav fav character. I started reading Bleach with the intention of liking Rukia... oh how wrong I was. By the end of the first volume, I was already in love with Orihime. And as time went by, the dislike for Rukia turned into hate. Oh why couldn't Orihime be the main female character?!

I certainly hope so, though I'll be pleased to see the more solemn side of her too. More character depth. We already know she's capable of feeling lonely and sad when she confessed to Rangiku about her sorrow when she's at home (such a sad scene...) and I'm glad she was jealous because that just showed she's a human and really did care for Ichigo. Lol, remember how she said the girls team would beat Ichigo if Rukia liked him also?

Her dramatic personality has shown more through the last few chapters of Bleach and continued, this is taking a new look on Inoue's character and I think we'll learn more and more as time goes on.

I wouldn't equate Orihime with fear for Aizen. She does have real courage; ie determination to face her enemies(ie Yammy and Ulquiorra) with the little arms she got. Had she no guts.....she would wait and wish for Ichigo to rescue her against Yammy. But no.....

And with the manner she bade goodbye to Ichigo.....I think she has resolved herself to take on Aizen so that she would save her friends. I would think she is prepared to lay down her life by killing Aizen with her own hands.....though I doubt she would think of hiding her dagger in her sleeve and stab him.

And.....with this chapter like that.......I am more inclined to believe KT wouldn't allow Orihime to be mistreated like that. Who knows.....the only thing that Aizen would want from her for now.....is to be by his side.....maybe not yet as his queen. But to stay by his side, as his handmaiden.....to serve him.....and talk to him like a friend, with him guiding her.

I have a feeling KT would never tell what is Aizen really after from Orihime. Her powers are too versatile, and too mysterious.

If he never reveals her powers, then the plot will be left hanging. A good author should finish the series completely so that no major questions are left unanswered. Unless of course, the story is meant to leave with a question mark.

Orihime is brave and kind. Ishida said that she's not fit for fighting and no, frankly, she's not. Kind-hearted people hurt themselves when hurting the enemy. But I do hope Orihime will become strong so that she can at least be of use to Ichigo and co. later on.

That's not really true. Aizen already has limited use of it and after 4 months he will have full use of it. What he really needs is access to the Spirit King's realm so that he can kill the Spirit King. However, since the only way to create the key is by destroying Karakura, it's clear that he will have to find an alternative. Most likely that alternative will involve Orihime's powers.

Disagree. While I am a fan of Aizen (ironic, isn't it??).....I would not believe if Aizen has any unselfish mercy streak in him....unless it works towards his advantage. Though I do feel he has some weird sense of justice.

Another crazy theory/thought that come to my mind....now while everybody says that Kaien is Ichigo and Miyako is Inoue.....I really am not fond of the idea......I have a theory that Aizen may be more than interested of her power. He may be interested in her soul personally.

What is to say that.....reincarnation theory of Shiba Kaien and his wife really is true....and Aizen is the man jilted by Miyako herself?? And her death was purposely coined out of greed and veangence?? So.....when he saw Orihime....he was actually staring at her face??? Could that be the reason why Aizen Sousuke's name be given.....with slight hints of IchigoInoue.....'before love' and 'indigo' and 'dye'??

As much as to say, being an Orihime and Aizen fan.....I would really hate it if after capturing Orihime....Aizen send her to be tested and experimented to check her powers, and give a power boost, artificially. He may be evil.....but he's not that stupid cruel evil like Mayuri.

I still am undecided whether there would be a rescue Orihime arc or not. Oh, my head hurts!!!!

Edit: As far as comparing him to Mayuri, I keep wondering if Aizen will recruit Mayuri over to his side, perhaps tempting him with the prospect of being able to conduct experiments on Orihime. Even though Mayuri is with the Gotei 13, he can't really be considered a "good guy," and his defection would be the perfect way to allow Ishida to gain his revenge without crossing swords with the rest of SS.

I can see it happening, but that Aizen would only be interested in having her full cooperation rather than killing her.

Well to be perfectly honest, I dislike how the story with Inoue is going currently because I'm seeing some simliarities with Yu Yu Hakusho and Inoue acting as the resident "Kuwabara." The seemabely powerless, weakest of the bunch (she's not a weak character, this would just be through the general public's eye) get's kidnapped and forced to help open a barrier etc, because of their special hidden power.

I seriously doubt KT attempts to mimic YYH in any form but that's how it's coming off to me as.

Well, I could be wrong, but right now it looks like Aizen does have to find some other means to get to the Spirit King and I can't think of any other way besides using Orihime's powers.

One thing I am hoping for is that in the end she can somehow manage to effect an escape for herself instead of having to rely on Ichigo & Co. to come to her rescue. It is a good thing, I reckon. Partly because she'll finally become important in Bleach and partly because, of course, she can truly develop her skills and won't be constantly thwarted by the powers of Ishida, Ichigo or the Gotei13.

I hope and reckon that she'll rise to become much more powerful than the current 2nd main character, and the only other main female, Rukia. Rukia's actually really really ridiculously weak despite all the fuss about how important she is.

Ichigo's powers were mostly his own and not Rukia's. After he was beaten by Byakuya he had no shinigami powers at all and had to regain them by having his hollow drawn out in Urahara's pit. From then on it was entirely his own power.

I actually think Inoue is probably "stronger" than Rukia right now. By that I don't mean that she would necessarily defeat Rukia in a fight since her powers are more defensive in nature, but that her abilities as they are now are at a higher level than Rukia's. For example, Inoue has most likely already surpassed Unohana as the #1 healer in Bleach, and I would suspect that her barriers would be able to withstand stronger attacks than Rukia is able to inflict.

Inoue and Chad have both stated they wish to fight alongside Ichigo on the battlefield, hence it's reasonable to assume that their powers will grow to the point such that they won't be completely overshadowed by his. Rukia's role, on the other hand, has really been more of a coach/advisor so I don't see her becoming quite as strong as the others. She's always been linked to Renji, so my guess is that her abilities will eventually be comparable to his.

I don't know if it's a "superpower," but it's a very extraodinary ability that no other human being possesses, as is chad's strength. Aside from the Quincies, every other human in Bleach is fairly normal, even those who are able to see hollows and shinigamis. I guess there's Don Kanonji, but his abilities don't seem anything special.

Unfortunately, I do think KT has made Orihime have this special link to Ichigo as a "spiritual connection" with him. He may as well have tatooed the words "Property of Ichigo" on her forehead.

I've wondered many times if Orihime is somehow connected to the Spirit King and that she's like a spirit princess. Hachi does have powers very similar to hers so maybe if we can learn about his past it might shed some light on Orihime. How could he know that she would have such special abilties unless he also knows about her origins? I'd just recently heard about the Kaien/Miyako theory: I kinda disregard it because I think that was just there to show Rukia's fondness of Ichigo and why she took to him so easily because he reminded her of Kaien. As for Miyako, I don't know because she was eaten by the hollow if I'm not mistaken, I doubt you can be re-incarnated once a soul has been eaten by a hollow. (Then again, they did kill the hollow, not sure what happens to eaten souls after that).

Who knows, maybe something like the above said will happen and Orihime will find someone who can return her feelings for them. So unpredictable though, at this point it's VERY hard to tell where the pairings are going to end up. When and if something happens, it'll happen and with good reason. I think for now i'll just concentrate on the story that KT is trying to present.

The only thing that I think that comes out in good from Orihime's kidnapping is I no need to be 'forced to like Ichigo' because of Orihime anymore......seriously....as she narrates the story.....sticking to him....she only tells the good thing about Ichigo only. But without her.....I have always thought that Ichigo was a selfish insensitive and uncaring brat when he went training with the vaizards. Selfish, insensitive in when it comes to his family.....and cocky and rude when he deal with the other vaizards and shinigamis.

Man....I seriously don't know what to feel....being an Orihime fan. I really like to know what the arrancars and Aizen's plans for her.....will she be safe or will she be in trouble. I doubt she would be in serious trouble.....or else there would be a dramatic rescue arc.

I'm just hoping against hope that she gets through without her soul tainted.....badass Orihime is nice with the fightings/killing instincst. But nothing is more interesting is to see how Orihime is going to survive and come out as a better. If she comes out half-dead, waiting for people to save her.....especially her Ichigo.....I stop reading.

It would be nice if Aizen shows some personal and romantic interest towards her.....then she might be in the dilemma as to choose who.

Well what Orihime see's in Ichigo, is past some of his looks and stuff, she recognizes that they are the same in the fact they both lost someone dear to them when they were young and she is able to sympathize with that. Add that with her liking of Ichigo's look (and apparently his smell, Inoue you perv! >_<), then you get Inoue's current obsession with him.

There is a possiblity that she could get over him and move on to someone else, but then again, KT might disappoint the fans of the OriXIchi, which I don't think he is going to do, if he doesn't put them together as a couple, he'll probably end up pushing their relationship severely. It seems like Kubo is basing Ichigo off himself and possibly his current GF or someone he used to know as Inoue? O-o;; (I mean he does look quite a bit like Ichigo... with glasses DX).

On a side note:
It's kinda funny though how KT made Inoue's character. He said in his interview that he doesn't like overly happy people XD.

Well I don't know him except through the interviews that I've read (which have actually I can sympathize with him a bit on some things that he's mentioned). If only it were as easy as contacting him through a fanletter DX, he's had most of the characters planned from the very beginning. (If you'll notice the colored character splash in the first volume, you'll notice one character that stands out and that would be Shinji, meaning he had Shinji's character planned from the very beginning).

I don't know what Kubo's got planned but I do know that he's had it planned for a while and I don't know if he'd change it DX. Sorry to discourage you, but then again, it may ag you on more to at least try just to show me up XD.

Here's a thought, Shinji Hirako X Orihime o_o:;... Creepy yes, but also possible!

Some of it from the interviews, quite a bit though from assumptions made from those views. I can relate to quite a bit of what he's revealed about himself, he's kinda been a personal hero of mine ever since I saw his first manga Zombie Powder (of which he wrote in Highschool o_o).

I really don't know, but telltale signs from the manga have led me to believe that most likely he had some of this stuff planned before he actually started. I'm pretty sure that it's safe to assume, that he was human enough to just make some of the stuff up as he went along (changing details here and there), but I think for the most part, he had in mind what he was going to do, before he did it.

Lol, I loved the part in the manga where Shinji puts his arm around Inoue's shoulder and was being really friendly, XD, it was so funny to see the expression on her face when he did. I'm pretty sure that Shinji likes Inoue quite a bit and despite his ugly ass hair, I don't know, maybe, just maybe they might get together XD.
