The forum, the domain, the bandwidth charges too I imagine are all brought to us by BP. There's nothing to say that this couldn't actually happen. That's part of what made it so facinating besides being so sad. The reaction it caused was large enough I wondered if it was some grad student's psychology experiment at one point.
