Seeing as how limited the channels of communication channels are between the staff and the forum's members, we thought it'd be neat to create this thread.

Hopefully you can all see "our true colors" through chatting with us here, if you haven't already ;). Chat, spam (though let's not carry that too far =p), joke around... etc. We'd like to know you all better as well :).

There is only ONE rule to this thread:
No FLAMING/TROLLING :).

And yes, I'm putting this thread here where post count makes a difference instead of randomness because it'll HOPEFULLY be a little less random =p.

How often do we play pranks on each other... Hmm... Well... I'd say twice a month on the average, depending on the person really :). Sarteck and I pulled the name swap thing which was rather interesting, and there's prof's pikachu avatar, which is hilarious. There was a time when DragonBlade and I went on fanboi mode and changed each other's names and avatars. Obviously I lost when he de-admined me >_<.

Xenogears is fscking awesome, yes.

Turmoil: We'll try to negotiate stuff nicely. That aside, BP aren't a bunch of hooligans who will rush in and take control like we portrayed them =p. Our acting was exaggerated.

Dope_Hat: It's a tiring responsibility. It may seem like a cinch to some of you, but it really isn't. Staff members devote a lot of their time to oversee the forum and make sure that things are going smoothly in their section. They discuss complaints sent by users and decide on verdicts that may at times be not what they wanted to do the most. Props to all of them really. Being a moderator is like being a captain, except you're in charge of a 1000+ people instead of 15 or so =p.

I go to school, I hang out with family. I hang out with friends on campus and sometimes outside of campus. I study with friends...

I don't go out THAT much though... It doesn't bother me since my friends and I are all nerds, and it's not like my social skills are dwindling either by being on the computer. As long as I get daily interaction with RL peers I'm satisfied.

But I don't have a very exciting, party sort of lifestyle like I did the past two years. Probably because I now live at home and commute to college, so I'm not meeting the large amounts of people I did when I used to live on campus. But hey, I have my friends and we hang out and that's all I need :)

Usually people end up leaving or there are promotions. Like last time, a lot of people got promoted, so... we needed new section mods. RL issues get in the way and stuff, people go to college, get bored with CB, other things.
