How is your shool on snow days?

Does your school let you out on days when the snow's bad? Or do you have to decide between life and death to get to school?

If it's bad enough they'll cancel classes, but they're pretty horrible at it (meaning that they don't want to cancel classes unless if they absolutely have too).

We don't have snow in C.R, but i guess they would cancel classes if it were bad enough.

Its weird where i live cause it snows like most everywhere except last time, there was so much snow just not in arlington =(

But the my school always delays the school day but we never get the whole snow day. Its good though because we don't have to have a make up snow day

Yeah, I've gotten about 12 snow days this year.

Well mostly because of transportation reasons (snow/ice on the road, visibility). Plus we don't live in a Nordic country :rolleye09

our skool is pretty stupid we hav hurricanes where i live and if u remeber Katrina it didnt even touch us..but i guess they just took a shot that it was gonna hit us or not...

One time our school sent everyone home as it was raining so hard as the schools based in the country side and alot of Farmer kids go there.

My school real bad. there is certain requirments to get out. having a blizzard outside won't even get us out. and if every school arond us is closed we're open for sure.

I'd love if we could go home because of snow :3
then I'd be home half the winter XD!

But we have a rule saying that if the temperature inside the classrooms are belove 14 degrees Celcius we're allowed to go home :3

But snow storms doesn't stop us from going to school xD I've been to school with 30- outside plus a storm which made the tempereature about 50/60- :3
The phonethings with electrisity or what they're named flew from the poles and they would make blue sparkles in the air, the snow wa so heavy and wild you couldn't see anything. the curtains in the classroom were blowing into the room even though the windows were closed. There were no cars outside and roofs flew off O_o
that was a couple a years ago, though xD

but some weeks ago a part of the school roof flew off due to a snowstorm :3
