Ballad of a broken heart

Gone are the days
I used to wallow
in sorrow because of the pain
you caused when you broke
my heart yet again.
Gentle whispers
in between lovers touches
as we lay making love
to the sounds
of falling rain drops.

I still remember the way you taste.

My heart skips a beat
now that I am cold,
alone, remembering
your body's heat.
The taste of of your love,
still lingers on my lips
I supposed its the price
i'll pay to the devil in me.

Now I walk on alone.

As you cry I die,
more and more inside
at the thought, but its lost
your no longer the one i love.
Your memories are the only ones
that now reside in my hollowed heart.
