I live on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in northeastern Montana. My boss is Bonnie Red Elk, the editor of the Fort Peck Journal. Her step brother was this guy named Barry Beach.
Barry Beach was accused of murdering Kim Nees, and tonight they're showing a DATELINE special about the whole thing! I don't know the story, but I think it's pretty cool that I get to hear about it on National TV. XD (9EST if anyone's interested, I guess that's in about an hour)
You know anyone that was or later became famous? What's your story?
I know some famous people but it'd be people you wouldn't know, just famous people in Malaysia. Im related to a famous malay singer, although her name kind of escapes me at the moment. The sultana of Malaysia is my second cousin so I'm related to royalty by marriage. My father and grandmother is pretty well known in Malaysia so through them, I know some other famous people, like some comedians, politicians and the former prime minister. Oh wait, I just remembered Im actually related to royalty, just for a different state.

How famous are you looking at here?
Well, my grandfather served in the Korean war from the start and was 1 of 2 survivors from his division and received a few medals for it. Uh, his name has appeared in Korean War documentaries and books, and he spoke in a documentary and his story was told in a documentary for Wisconsin Korean War heroes.
As far as famous royal people and celebrities go, the most I've gotten is Tony Hawk's autograph...

Uhm, my mother used to work in Venezuelan soap operas, and my ex-uncle is a heavy metal star in South America. My mother also worked on a channel, hTV, so she used to meet alot of famous stars and such, almost all were hispanic. If I remember right, she also used to do alot of road work for heavy metal bands when they came to south america, so I got to meet quite a few famous rockers when I was young (too young to actually remember any). Hell, I had dinner with the star Juanes (who is currently nomainated for a Nobel Peace Prize) on a few occassions, cause of my mom's work. Two of my aunts are film directors and one of my aunts wrote a well-known child story in Venezuela.

Nope, don't know any famous people or met any really. I want to though, just so I can have that feeling of meeting somebody famous and brag about it.
My brother met Will Smith once at a bowling alley and managed to get his autograph. Was a fun topic to talk about for a while.

I wouldn't say I KNOW him, but I guess I do to an extent. Richard Franklin. UFC Fighter, heavyweight I think. He was a teacher at my highschool. I think he taught math. I never had him as a teacher, but I always messed with him and told him I'd beat him up and crap. He always told me, "well if you wanna try, come to the gym. But you gotta sign a waver". That was usually where I would just back away after giving a little laugh.. LoL. Cool guy though.

Personally? No. But when I worked with my dad at DFW airport I met a lot of people. I've only talked to a few though, most of them being WWE wrestlers and some sports guys...Undertaker is damn intimidating in person, but a pretty cool guy...for the two minutes I talked to him.
well I'm related to Matthew Henson is my great great great great great great great uncle on my father's side, and W.C handy the blues guy, is my great great great great uncle on my mom's side. I'm proud to be related to them because they both did very important things in the black people's history. And my aunt dated sisco before he became famous.

There's hispanic stars to go to the restaurant I used to work in. One night Juanes came to eat with his girlfriend and one of the waitresses got his autograph. I was too chicken to ask him.
My great-grandfather(mother's side) was supposedly a well-known Taiwanese dissident of the KMT during his time. My mom has a few newsarticle clippings from local newspapers of him... That's about it.
Back before I was born when the Concords still flew daily between England and europe my Grandmother who has since passed away used to use them for her work.
Being a concord there was no first and second class it was all just basically first class.
So anyway she was on this flight and this guy sat next to her for the flight they talked and he gave her his buisiness card before they parted..A few days later she was at my fathers place and they were watching tv when she suddenly told him that the man on the TV was the guy who gave her his buisiness card and offered to let her stay in any of hotels if she was in a place where he had one for free.
Now my dad didn't believe it so my grandmother pottied off to look for this buisiness card..Came back a small time later and gave it to my father..He says he nearly had a heart attack.
The name on the card.
"Donald Trump"
No kidding...He's still got the card even though my mother has passed away..I've held it..My grandmother knew and was a good friend of Donald trump they flew together on the concord several times after that.
I want that card..I will get it then I shall call the man up himself..
But crazy ne?

My pops was a 'little' famous in certain areas. Flew an F5 Tigershark in Vietnam where he got some honors for flying a crippled plane in after a successful mission with low survival rate (though the ejection seat was dynamite under your ass, literally), served in Desert Shield, retired Brig. General. Afterwards got into flying G-5 and G-550's for Gulfstream, heading up the divisions I think from the city it was located.
And through that got to know an oil magnate Mohammed, vacation on a schooner with a bahama businessman named Dorch, and is currently occasionally flying for Rick Hendricks of Hendricks Motorsports and their respective drivers. I've met some of these people, though its not like I hang out with any of them. All of these people have oh so much money than we do =\
Down the road from us was a WWII veteran who took down a Luftwaffe fighter with his rifle, it found his company in a field and was circling around shooting, this guy was the only one to stand up and fire, successfully.
Ah, dated small time fame.

I know at one point in time that my mom scared the daylights out of my now passed grandparents.
She was quiet the adventurous one as a teen. She had been seeing a good looking guy in school and had asked if he could come over for dinner.
They told her they had to meet his parent or parents before anything further happened. (Grandpa was a strict man in his early years)
Well dinner time rolls around with a ring to the front door. Grandpa answers as grandma walks from the kitchen.
They both had to take a second look and make sure they were not dreaming. The man at the door was Leonard Nimoy. The guy she had been seeing was Adam Nimoy.
As for me,
While living in Long Beach, California, I had come across serveral "famous" persons. I think the two that stand out in my mind are Warren G and Carson Daily.
I meet Warren G just around the corner from my moms house and he lived down the street. Very laid back person and very nice as well. I got a chance to talk to him a couple of times when I would be out on my roller blades and he would be out washing down his ride. A couple of times he would hose me and my friends on purpose. It was always cool to have a chance to talk.
Carson Daily was just a sweetheart and very much the same as he was on MTV. I was in downtown Long Beach and he was pulling out of a parking garage and nearly hit me. He hadn't seen me walking since it was going from pitch dark to bright light.
For scaring the crap out of me he took me out to lunch, he blew off his appointments that he had to just sit and talk for a little while.

I know Azhar Usman, a famous Muslim comedian, and helped him with his Facebook profile. I've also met Steve Martin before. My brother beat Malik Rose (former forward for the San Antonio Spurs) in a one on one basketball match, and has met Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace. I've also met Amir Sulaiman before, who's a great underground rapper/poet. A girl on our high school basketball team is bound to go to the WNBA; she's the number 3 center in the nation, and is going to be playing for Stanford next year. Also, we have another top male recruit who's a junior, that's going to play for U of I.

Well, my dad was in a very popular mexican movie. Some war movie iunno, I hate my dad so I never bothered learning about it. My mom wants the movie just to have it cuz he's in it.
I know some underground rappers around where I live, my brother being one of them. Tony Hawk, Bam Margera and Bucky Lasik were all at the skate park in my old town. I guess it was the best skate park in the world or something. There were ALOT of pro skaters there. Bob Burnquist too I think.
That's all I can think of right now...

Personally I have talked a bit with Vincent Pastore(from the Sopranos), and got an autograph from WWE wrestler Shawn Michaels, my cousin became a local celeb when he lost his life saving another during this war in Iraq, and I met and hung out with a band named Madison Greene. My dad met Bob Hope, some other singer he rode around in the police car, and President Nixon. Also my great grandma used to yodel at our closest arena when the country singer Hawkshawl Hawkins came to town. They used to write back and forth and he invited her to tour with him. Good thing she didnt cause he died in the plane crash with Patsy Cline.
Oh and I know some pro football players. They are all from my hometown.Lance Mehl (retired NFL New York Jets) played with my uncle on the high school team. Ben Taylor (NFL Green Bay Packers) lived the next block over from me. Joey Galloway (NFL team Tampa Buccaneers) used to come to our school all the time because I graduated with his nephew.

I've known people who have known famous people and if I was enough of a kissass I could know a shitload of "famous" people. Not just a bit famous, but very famous.
But I honestly do not care. I am just that type of person. The only way I'd become a good friend with a famous person is if we just hooked up and really connected, not some pseudo-BS.
