Agreed. I just watched the first episode for the heck if it, not expecting much, and I thought it had a great start. I see plenty of potential in this, it will definitely be an emotional series. The art and line work are done really well, this is aesthetically one of the best anime I have ever seen.

Baccano! was pretty good as well and both Kure-nai! and Baccano! have similar animation styles.

I'm really enjoying it so far.. it's one of the others that i really like the drawings/animation. Also the latest ep gave more background and info about him growing up learning that fighting style for so many years, etc..

lol! i just watched finished this series. It was nice... the ending wasn't bad.
and murasaki is really kawaiii nya >< not too lolli that it stills appeal to me. haha ^^

murasaki made a brave choice to change from within rather than leaving that place.
it's really a yucky traditional custom the kuhouin practised before

Yeah, she's so smart and incredibly courageous. I'd love to see an OVA of her when she's older and a real full grown woman. Shinkurou is awesome, too. He helped her a LOT in her decision and helped her see what it's like to be normal even if it was for a short while. They both took a little from each other and learned they both had a long way to go to better themselves. Though i feel like the story/plot and characters were a bit underdeveloped in such a small amount of time i still really enjoyed it from start to finish. :3 OVA PLEASE! haha

i guess it can't be helped because in total there's only 12 episodes. but at least they didn't squeeze the climax and ending in one last episode like some other animes.

The novel is still going so it'll be interesting how it plays out in the end. But it was definitely a good ending even if the novel ends up having a different outcome.

The manga is worth taking a look too, it's a different experience to the anime.
