View Full Version : C.C Who is she?
C.C

Such an enigmatic and weird lady, She's lived for as long as she remembers..So long that she can't remember when she hasn't been alone..When she can't differentiate between who loves her and who hates her.
We see in a flash back in episode 25 when Lelouch sees parts of her memories he sees her being killed over and over again in the past starting from about the witch hunt era's...Obviously she is not of this world..She's immortal..She can transfer the power of the Geass to humans though how it manifests itself in them is different with each person..
Who is she really and what does she want?...She seems particularly attached to Lelouch simply because of his statement that helps her..
"You're not alone. We are partners. If you are a witch, then I'll become a warlock."
Is she the origin of witches and their powers?..Is the Geass a power that can only be given out by females?...

..Is the Geass a power that can only be given out by females?...
Well, V.V.'s a boy...and in the PSP/PS2 video game Code Geass: Lost Colors, he gives the main character a Geass similar to Lelouch's, except activated by voice instead of eye contact.
If you question why I think V.V.'s a boy, it's because of his use of "僕" ("boku") as "I", which is masculine, and his speech/tone of voice has a masculine undertone(...so yeah, it's not because wiki said so. :P)
about C.C....seeing that flashback about a bunch of girls with her forehead sigil suggests a whole race of them, so I can't say more than that they're probably a race that evolved from humanity (like Newtypes).

But if they were a race evolved from Humanity then why would they come from another planet..?....
But still an interesting postulation as for the Geass to work as it does with Lelouch it would need to have prior knowledge of the Neural pathways in it's targets synapses.

from another planet? hmm...i've always thought of those planetary images to be representations of their otherworldly power. i don't think anyone can live on Jupiter anyway[one of the planets shown], since it's a gaseous planet :P

Animes do not have to be logical.

indeed, if anime's were logical then a lot of them would be quite boring.
C.C. is the stereotype "last of her race" type character. Only she ISNT the last of her race.
also. V.V. is androgynous. :x lol

Now now, Gentlemen.
You'll notice the planet Jupiter was shown in the sky in that scene. So the viewer would be standing on one of Jupiter's moons, not the gaseous planet itself.

lol then Europa? the ice moon?
lol then Europa? the ice moon?
That might actually make sense. I'm not sure how close you would have to be to the planet to have it appear at the scale shown in the show, that might give a clue as to which of the 63 moons of Jupiter it could be.
Edit: Interesting Factoid: The next moon further out from Jupiter after Europa is named Ganymede.

lol, Ganymede happens to be the largest moon as well. not that it's very significant. :P
It's also the third Galilean moon for Jupiter.
In CG the Ganymede was the third Knightmare achetype. :D

Ganymede was a third-generation Knightmare, the first of its type. the first and second generations only did the legs, landspinners, etc., not a Knightmare itself. but still, Ganymede's still a third-generation Knightmare Frame.
Spoiler From Episode Two Below which might account For CC
The emperor takes Suzaku up to a old style temple floating place which he mentions is a place thats there to Take on the Gods...Could be that the "Gods of old" Are aliens from this other place and that humankind created CC in an effort to combat their powers...Long time ago though..The temple looked Roman and the Britanian empire is currently trying to take on the EU. It might be that the Geass was created from the EU and is being sent to the Empire to destabilize it.

Well, remember in season one, that General whatshisname that ended up serving Schneizel mentioned that a list of points were being acquired and likely spreading the empire was based on this. That would mean that the EU only had some points, not that they necessarily originated from there.
I sort of like the moons of Jupiter idea, at least in the way it sounds XD

Anyone figured out what her real name was? The water droplet thing didn't really give up hint, but I guess it's water in japanese.

It was just a sound effect so people wouldn't think the audio on their TV had gone out right at that moment when they removed it.

And her name was more than two syllables, right?
Uh, I dunno. I'm think a two syllable name is possible in that space, he was saying it slowly "like a lover would" :lol after all. But I think 3 is more likely.

it looks like 3 syllables to me. I'll have to watch it again
In episode 6 CC talks about the other geass giver VV whos with the emperor and who has made a pact with the emperor to "destroy the gods" which suggests that both VV and CC are related somehow to mythical dietys and/or the "Gods" who created earth..Maybe wayward children of these gods or sworn enemies..Or aliens who are against another alien species who are responsible for the creation of life on earth.

my guess for CC's name is Marianne
it would be lot meaningful and create a deeper connection between Lelouch and her more quickly. i think it works lot better than other random names for now that is.
No, because Lelouch would have been more surprised when he found out. Plus, he would have been less likely to want to call C.C. by his mother's name "like a lover would". :awe:
