I Laugh At Social Protocol

Imagine allusions of candy metaphor
Honeyed like tangible illusions
Me, reaching out into solidifying space
Where platonic cynic of society reigns
Only the numb survive the quicksand
Shun your heart and open your mind
What you don't know won't hurt you
And honey'll taste like salt-water dreams

Passing moments fuelled by burning regimes
Promises, tongue-tied, fingers crossed
I don't need truth from physical spaces
The universe is indifferent to morality
Infinite tragedies and clutches at change
Taking mantras, adopting separate worlds
The relative and subjective become trivial
Don't count the stains that wreck the floor

Reassurance is outdated, lies become truth
Exodus means absolutely nothing to me
Tantrums breaking; venom grinning
It's the unspoken that murders words
Beauty is pain and parting is sinful bliss
Perfectionists suffer most; clowns know joy
Only fools seek patience in smiling strangers
Kill me or take me as I am; I'll not change
