Again, this is open to discussion. I want to know your ideas for rules :)
Poetry Battle Rules:
- Battles should only happen between two users, unless there is a collaboration involved. This should obviously be stated.
- There should be an agreement between the contestants....before the thread is made :lol (<3 you still, you know who you are)
- You must state the following:
Theme
Participants
Votes (Preferred if the limit is first to five)
Style
- Try not to have the battles last longer than a week. Five days, even.
- The poems SHOULD be posted within twenty four hours of the thread's creation. No more than 48 hours.
WHEN VOTING:
- Not only state who you are voting for, BUT WHY. As a writer, you should like critiques. And try not to give wimpy critiques, say what you want to say, nicely of course.
- Anyone can vote in a poetry Battle
- Any battles which have not had both pieces posted in or had a vote within 3 days are subject to closure.
- By the end of the week if there is no participant with five votes, whoever has the most is declared the winner.
- So yeah, play nice d:
- HAVE FUN, HAR HAR.
