Quite simple we can find out who's our most favorite characters in Code Geass by going to the other thread but on a more unrelated note lately i've been hearing arguments for and against certain actions lelouch's taken and Suzaku has taken so this can also be used to determine their favoritismn at the same time as well.

I would definitely have to say Nina. She is creepy, annoying, insane, and unstable. You should probably add her to the poll, since it seems like nobody likes her. Rollo would come in second. I don't like how he replaced Nunally, and is always so depressed. He's too trusting with LeLouch, but still potentially dangerous with his ability to stop time. I mainly don't like him because of the fact that he decides to kill just about anybody in his way. V.V. is in third, mainly because I keep thinking it's a girl, when it's a guy, and because he associates himself with the emperor. Mao was pretty annoying as well, with his infatuation with C.C., and how he basically forced LeLouch to make Shirley forget all her memories of him.

She's getting less screen time this season than she got last season. I'm fine with her being a bit part character as long as she's not ruining good scenes with emotional outbursts like she did during the chess game.

Suzaku by far. First of all his character design is lazy as hell, he's just a Lelouch with brown, slightly curlier hair. EXXXTREME LAZINESS TO THE MAXXX!!! Not that I like any of Clamp's character designs in the first place, as everyones pretty much simplified to a polygonal stick figure prettyboy/girl or looks outright retarded such as Todo.

And then theres his annoying sense of justice, and him going up against Lelouch/Kallen, over and over and over again as well as his completely unexplained inhuman speed.

PS We've all heard ZOMG WHITE KNIGHTMARE FRAME far too many times. Need new enemies plox.

Lelouch. The point between the comparison between he and Suzaku is supposed to be what happens when 2 different people choose 2 different means to get to the same end (peace). Suzaku takes the high road where as Lelouch takes the low road.

The problem with that? Suzaku recieves twice the hell that he should. Lelouch gets away with way too much bull straight out of luck. He killed CHILDREN. But ofcourse, luckily for him, Todo and Kallin don't find out. And no one confronts him about the innocents killed by him (Shirly falls in love with him TWICE knowing what he did/does).

They don't need near identical designs to portray the contrast, it is a crutch IMO to make up for the rather lacking background story between them. They were just buddies for a long time, then theres the disparity over the means to achieve peace.

There are tons of examples of relationships between good friends or parallels that trump this central one easily. Griffith/Guts, as different as they get->best friends->mortal enemies. BrandonHeat/HarryMacDowell, best friends->gangster best friends>mortal enemies>friends again. Naruto/Gaara->Parallel origin->opposite reaction->good friends. Sasuke/Naruto rivals->friends->sworn enemy/friend.

Or maybe I'm just upset about the story reset at the beginning of season 2 which seems like a way to milk the series =/

@Greggle: I agree about the character design thing. What I meant was the reason both characters are considered the main character is because they wanted to show us the whole highroad/lowroad thing. The similarity in character design is simply inability to think up different "main character-esque" designs. They must've had one idea as to how someone should look and just chose different hair styles out of necessity. I mean lazyness.
