ORDER OF THE CBSG
Club Bleach Shot Glass

Members, welcome to the Order. This Order exists around one object, a tiny glass that holds poison to our livers and liberation to our lives--alcohol. This Shot Glass (ALWAYS to be Captialized from here on) will be sent from member to member around the globe! When a member takes their shot(s), they can also take their picture and post it in this thread. The member will then send the Shot Glass to the next member on the List. So on and so forth, never-ending.

The Shot Glass can NEVER come to the same person twice in the same year! Maybe not ever, if we get enough members in the Order. Also, it must be LEGAL for you to drink at your age in your country. The type of liquor will not be set, you may drink what you wish. But I suggest Rum. HIGHLY suggest Rum. But you can drink what you wish.

I've contacted and Admin and requested a usergroup for The Order Of The CBSG. For being in the Order (which you can ONLY attain once you've confirmed reception of the Shot Glass), you will gain a very nifty userbar.

So... You want to try something new? I had an idea... For a Club Bleach thing, I could cut off my beard and send it to someone. That person will be Keeper of the Club Bleach Beard for a few weeks or a month, and then they must send it to the next person on the list, so on and so forth.

I'll only start if at least thirteen people including myself are willing to do it, heh. People wanting to be a part of it can post here. :3

You MUST be able to pay (possibly out-of-country) shipping charges for a bundle of hair. XD

Or we could go with a Club Bleach Shot Glass... I have a friend who blows glass, I might be able to get him to make one special for the Order... (he usually only does pipes, nowadays, though.)

Above is the original post by Sarteck with minor edits where needed. Since I have taken over, the shot glass and note book are on the move. It's no longer a MUST that you take a photo, you can if you wish. I for personal reasons have not but I request that you do, unless you to wish not to. I have contacted an admin about the Usergroup so that we may have the userbar that was part of Sarteck's original idea.

Each member is to PM another to obtain the address of the person they are sending it to. Both members are required to remain silent as to who was chosen next in line. When you get it, simply post in this thread that you have received it and post when you've sent it. This keeps the secrecy of who's next in line and brings more fun to this ^^

In order to participate, as stated above, you must be of legal drinking age in your Country/State/Province and able to pay shipping costs which may include international. It weighs nearly nothing so costs aren't that high.

Once you've received the shot glass, taken your shot(s) and written in the notebook, please make sure to WASH the glass before sending it out. Also... DO NOT BREAK MY SHOT GLASS :p

All members wishing to participate please post in this thread or PM me and I will update the list. Members are only to chose from the list of who to send it to next. Members living close together are more than welcome to gather and take shots together, there's no problem there. Just let me know who all takes part.

Well.. seeing as how, in Oregon at least, it's legal to drink Alcohol within your parent's home if under the age of 21, and my mom buys me alcohol because it is so, I'm in.. ^^'

We should also make sure that whoever has the glass, chooses the next person and PM's them, then its kinda mysterious, the person who is chosen PM's their address to the person who has the glass, and therfore the person is sent the glass. The person who has the glass must prove he has the glass before asking for the address. Of course when they send it, the person who receives it then confirms to them, so they can be crossed off the list. It also saves publicly listing all our addresses.

I'll add the list to the first post, and people should also make sure they confirm they are legally able to drink, then next to their name it will have legible or illegible and then the date they are legible in brackets.

So people please confirm that you are legible, and if you are not, tell us when you WILL be legible so I can add it in the list. Ive added those that I KNOW are legible.

Mine can be set to Legal. Cuz it's legal here to drink within your parents home. And that's where I live. And I know it's legal cuz a cop came to our house to complain about the loud music and I had a Smirnoff in my hand. Cop asked my age and I told him. He was about to do something about it, then my mom came and told him she gave it to me and she knew I had it. He said it was legal as long as I dont leave the premisis. So I know it's legal.

Plus, I just got out of court in Feb and I asked the lawyer then too. Just to confirm for myself since I and my friends drink here often. So I should be set to legal ^^

This one apparently has a long history to it... There was a set of these, a long time ago, that used to belong to my mum's Grandma. She used them at "parties" she hosted, when she made all the kids go into their rooms really early. XD She served something called "Canadian Club" or whatever in it, according to mum--she said it is some kind of whiskey.

Well, I told mum about this little shin-dig a few days ago, and she digs this thing out of storage for us. Heh. Gotta love mums.

That was it's harder to break.

Cause I've dropped a shot glass from the top shelf, to the tile floor and it didnt break o_O.

I agree with Kray. When it has to go on such a long journey and gets passed around and thouched that much it should really be hard to break...or else we'll have to use a new one when it breaks....and that would kinda the whole "ONE shot glass passed around by everybody" thing...

I would just like to throw out there the option of going to a print shop and printing a transparent sticker to put on a clear shot glass. Instead of etching it on. It would work and be alot cheaper and easier to come by.

I think the best idea is a plain clear shot glass, which aren't expensive, and just get a simplish design on it... although *checks* Riggers design i reckon would look pretty good...

Then once you have the country's list inside the separate country's make a list of each individual thats participating and create a itinerary of who's getting it first and then so on and so on. This list should also include peoples postage addresses.

For each person on the end of each country's list should be aware of which country they have to send it to next and whom in that country.

The list should be posted in the first post here with only very active individuals on the forum allowed to participate because if it goes to an inactive member then we might never see it again.

Yup, there's durability testing. Just because you fill it once and it doesn't leak doesn't mean it wont happen again. This isn't a blown glass chalice so we have to make sure those seams are tight. It's necessary to fill it multiple times and drain to make sure it will not leak after its been sent off.
