Both men and women should be equal in society to but they arn't.

I think women have a harder time getting high paying jobs (like a lawyer, nuro surgent etc.) because some people(I think both men and women are equal tho) think men can do a better job(not everyone and in reality both men and women can do the exact equal if they both work hard at it).

Just look at the news where that harvard principle made a statement that women don't have as large of a mental capacity as men.
He later took that statement back obviously because of all the women who go to harvard are mad at him and now its getting into the media everyone is starting to hate him.

Its people like him who make it harder for women then men.

i'll have to agree with you...and when you look back on it, women do just a good a job as men do. there are many women out there that contribute, or have contributed, greatly to society :)

I think guys got it easier, course I'm not a guy so I wouldn't really be able to know for sure. But here's my thing though... girls are always being pressured by society to look and sometimes to even act a certain way. Look back in history. Only males had the right to vote until the female race begin to fight for their right. Females are still continually looked as the weaker sex, though not as much as before, thank God.

well in general i think girls have it harder, tough there are some things i REALY don't like about it. Girls(i always mean SOME, not ALL) complain about men thinking they are weaker, tough they EXPECT us to cary stuff, they are graded higher for the same prestation at PE (gym, well in belgium they are) and when you say, "lets get graded the same" they SAY that they are weaker themselves. so who's fault is it then.?

well if you're talking about PE in schools, alot of girls take advantage of the lower physical standards. In my case, i've seen alot of girls that could give guys a run for their money, but coast in PE, because they only need to run a 9 minute mile to pass rather than a 7 minute mile.

the female body make-up is naturally weaker than the males so they shouldn't have to do what males do. Imo, girls get away from many things that we males do. They have a harder time in society because they are overshadowed by the males fierce competitiveness but then we males provide for those same women and they get to live more luxurious lives because they do not have to work as hard as males. But if for some reason those females want to do a job that is very strenuous then they are shown no respect and thus have it harder, but this thing takes a next turn where women have hard times just for simple things because it is a mind set among men that women are inferior in strength and thus shud not do anything which is completely unjust.

So much work and effort could be put into something more useful, don't you think? Dude, it's not just pms...pms isn't the thing we worry about. It's the pain. Some girls have it made...they don't hardly feel anything at that time of the month, but on the other hand, people like me are on the floor screaming, crying, and punching holes in the wall. No wonder some of us try to bite peoples heads off.

That's the part that sucks, if a girl like me doesn't want to be a slut but wants to work, society still expects us to be great housewifes too. Studies show that men score higher(in general) in test during college/university. There are also more men in higher ranking jobs then women.
This can be due to the women being undermined or whatever, but this is how it is in real life.

Who has it easier in real life? Depends on what you mean by easier.

If you mean can live with ease. Women.

If you mean being free, and being able to do whatever you want. Men(from what I've heard), to me it seems that both of them can achieve equally.

If you mean not being judged because of your sex. Both have it hard.

when i was high school, it was the same. in graduation the only people worrying if they will graduate were the bulk of the guy pop. since they were such slackers . it never fail, every year the top 5 (sometimes even 10-15) gpas were always girls.
