Hmmm... Well if it is writing its got to be Yanni's A love for life... Great instrumental piece... I love it! If its about energizing and stuff, then its Mai Hime's - Duran Shoukan... So in short
1- Sports - Rock and Techno
2- Photoshop work - Rock
3- Writing - Classical or instrumental music

Well... I like all types of music, so I'll just put songs (from what I've listened to recently), if that's okay:

"Get Into the Groove" -- Madonna - makes me groove.
"Beautifully Depressed" -- Down - makes me get all happy whilst singing along. Oddly enough.
"Hyper-Ballad" -- Bjork - makes me feel calm.
"Blurry" -- Puddle of Mudd - makes me feel emotionally powerful for the song, lol.
"Sabre Dance" -- Vanessa Mae (violinist) - makes me feel like I'm floating and can do ANYTHING.
"One Way or Another" -- Blondie - makes me get a buzz!
"Breathe" -- Prodigy - it makes me crazy and slightly hyper.
"Harajuku Girls" -- Gwen Stefani - makes me.. I dunno, actually, something.
"Lonely in Gorgeous" -- Tommy February6 - makes me feel like Gwen's song but more calm.
"He's a Tramp" -- Peggy Lee - makes me feel like listening to Ray Charles or something... and "Hit the Road Jack" is a brilliant song.
"Mortal Kombat (Techno Remix)" -- [Dunno how that's by] - I go crazy.
"Somebody Kill Me" -- Adam Sandler and "Baby Got Jack" (or I've heard it been called "I Like Small Butts") -- Weird Al Yankovic - they make me laaaaaugh.
"Little Girls" -- Oingo Boingo - makes me feel upbeat.
"Violent P---ography" and "Chop Suey" -- System of a Down - makes me feel like dancing.
