Code Geass [Dub] Episode 1 - Disscusion Thread

You heard it. The Code Geass dub premired just yesterday! To tell the truth, I was glad I managed to watch it on time. I was estatic throughout the episode. The dub was at it's finest :D

hey i watched some of it and it was pretty damn cool i fell asleep at about half-way though the episode though cuz it was 2 o'clock but what i saw was pretty cool

I liked it. I get tired of reading subtitles at the bottom all the time so it was nice to actually just watch.

Haven't seen it yet , but from the trailers I saw Lelouch's Voice Actor was the same Voice Actor Ichigo has. Don't know 'bout you , but in my opinion it doesn't suit Lulu at all , Ichigo's voice that is.

But I'll watch it soon , and give you guys feedback.

I saw it. OK, it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be. Lelouch's voice DEFINITELY needs work... Kallen's is a little bit off too, but better than Lelouch's. So far, no complaints with C.C's voice. Everyone else's voice is cool.

I didn't like how they shortened the ending song, though... and no previews? o.0

Yeah, that's how I watched it last night. I actually watched it earlier than the actual premiere, so I didn't have to stay up till 12:30.

I sort of liked the show, and thought the plot seemed pretty interesting. It's always better to get into an anime near the beginning of it. That's why I never really got into Death Note. I'm still getting used to Jonny Yong Bosch doing the voice of Lelouch. It's sort of weird that he does the voice for two lead characters on Adult Swim programs. Personally, I like him better as Ichigo, but as a big fan of his, I'll continue to watch him in Code Geass as well. I'm still sort of confused about what happened in the end when he told them all to die. Did he somehow get control of their minds?

Lelouch's power of Geass, "the power of absolute obedience", allows him to momentarily control a mind, in a fashion similar to hypnotism, and is situated in his left eye. When activated, a red bird-shaped sigil, similar to the mark on C.C.'s forehead, lights up in the eye and reaches out to its target(s).

yes I watched it after death note. HM it was ok but all the people dying back and forth was kinda much. and then it's like one eye is purpler than the other

I watched the entire first episode. Lelouch's voice is horrible. Lloyd's is totally different. I don't like C.C.'s much either. But everyone else's voices actually aren't that bad :o
