Come one come all to the GinXRagiku FC!! I absolutely love love love this ship. I wish that they had shown more in the manga/anime on the two but the amount they did show was enough to get me hooked.

So let's get the ball rolling. Why do you like this ship and how do you hope that it all ends?

I love the possibilities they have. I believe that they had a very close relationship. I feel that they love each other., and I honestly think that if Rangiku was being hurt that Gin would stop her from being hurt. She is the only person that he truly cares about IMO.

I have a bad feeling that Gin will be killed in the end, so here is how I hope that it ends. He dies saving Rangiku from certain death and in the end apologizes and confesses his love.:biggrinlo

One of the few times you can see these two characters absolutely serious, is when they're together, which shows what kind of relationship they have. I think this one was a "love at first sight" type of deal. Though I'm not the biggest Gin fan, I think I'd like to see this relationship work out. It would be a cruel twist of fate though if they end up battling in the end. You've got my support though.

Why do you like this relationship and what do you think will happen in the end with them?

I like it cause like its been said they have the most serious relationship, also 'cause it makes Gin's character deeper.

Yeah, that's why I've liked it to. Gin is SOOOOO much more interesting because of his past with "Ran-Chan". The whole thing with her having doubts about him being Aizen's murderer and not wanting to believe that he was behind the plot... showed how much she trusts him and the type of relationship that they must have had. I hope there is love between them, but if there isn't then there is definitely respect and caring for each other. AND I honestly still believe that if it came down to it that Gin would never kill Rangiku or hurt her physically for that matter.

Remember during the SS arc when he tried to kill Momo, but was stopped by Rangiku. Her zanpakuto would've been broken if he hadn't decided to pull back. It's a minor detail, but it sort of shows that he didn't want to harm her.

^ Exactly. He could have easily broken her sword and stabbed through both of them to kill Momo and Rangiku, but he decided to withdraw. Remember also that Rangiku told him that if he continued the fight that it would be with her. He chose not to fight her.

that was my favorite moment for both characters, and rarely when Gin had a sad face

I don't know if they were in the academy together or not. With the new chapter, it shows that Gin is pretty young once he gets out of academy. So Ran-chan is either still in the academy or not in the academy yet.

Did anyone watch the episode 62 dub last night? The lines Gin says to Rangiku are different from the Japanese version. It seems as if they make his attraction a bit more evident in my opinion.

I was watching and waiting to see my fav scene and my fav look from Gin and my fav line from him and then it was ruined. BOOOO! That's way I prefer sub over dub. They always ruin the dialog with the dub version.

Haha yeah, most of the time characters sound better in the sub, but the dub isn't that bad. I actually like Gin better in the dub than the sub, his personality seems to suit him better in my opinion. Then there are characters who I hate in the dub, like Hitsugaya. He's way better in the sub.

Then again I hate the way he shouts "Zabimaru" in the sub too. However, I've gotten used to that one now, and the dub Renji seems a bit too calm at times for my taste.

i wonder why matsumoto hasn't gained a bankai yet?? Her zanpakuto's ability is alot like Byakuya's... matter fact they're mirror images of one and another... I think Byakuya should help her gain bankai

I think it was stated that her zanpakuto was like her, lazy. ;) So she hasn't achieved it yet. :D

To attain Bankai, you need to be able to master it, and if it's lazy, not listening, and unwilling to lend you its powers, then Bankai cannot be achieved. You must be able to prove your superiority over it.

Well what I was just getting at is that if the Zanpakuto is not obedient in nature, than Bankai is impossible. Even though Ichigo made it seem easy to attain, not everyone can master it very quickly. Maybe Yamichika and Matsumoto will eventually learn how to reach Bankai, but right now their zanpakutos act exactly like themselves, which makes it too hard to get them to follow instructions.

Yes the pendulum arc was good, but for the "current time line" there hasn't been a GOOD character developing story since SS arc. :)
