Shino VS Kiba

His bugs would suck kiba dry from almost the start of the battle and if he got a female bug on kiba..well..thats about it

For kiba to stand a chance he would have to use Double Wolf Fang stright away if shino managed to keep moving and wait till thar ran out his bugs would swam over kiba taking the win

Shino is WAY smarter than Kiba, but Kiba is WAY faster than Shino, so I dunno. If any bugs managed to connect with his body, a Tsuuga would either evicerate them or toss them off. Also, Kiba uses food pills often, and he can give them to Akamaru, so they both can last a long time in a fight thanks to having lots of chakra.

I say if Kiba can keep his chakra reserves up and then both he and Akamaru speed blitz Shino he could take the win...assuming Shino doesn't have a sure-kill offensive ability we don't know about. So far it's just kunai, shuriken, and bugs.

EDIT: Also, Kiba's advanced sense of smell will allow him to tell the difference between a bug clone and the real Shino. He can track him to his hiding spots this way aswell. Assuming Shino doesn't plant a trap based on Kiba's sense of smell leading him. Like tossing out smoke bombs and tricking him into following his scent on his clothing carried by his bugs straight off a cliff.

Shino would win, even though Kiba is a noticeably strong ninja.

Shino is I think only one step behind Neji, who is leagues ahead of Kiba.

I really think that it would be quite a battle to get the bugs off of you. The bugs stick to you because they're attracted to your chakra, so it'll be a tough time getting them off.
Plus, I don't know why you said Kiba is way faster than Shino. We haven't seen very much of Shino, so you can't say that. I mean, he might be a bit faster, but probably not way faster.

I believe it looks, smells, and acts the same as it's creator. I know Kiba's smell is good, but I very much doubt that he can tell clones from the real thing just by smelling.
Shino has bugs in his real body anyway, so a bug clone would just smell the same.:whatevah:

Well, Shino DOES have bugs in his body, but it's not like Kiba is gonna have a sense of smell strong enough to go right through his body. Shino will sweat as he runs from Kiba. Bugs don't perspire. That's one major difference in odor. Then there's the smell of Shino's hair...or clothing. Hiding in water isn't smart when you consider that bugs don't take kindly to water. If there are 2 Shino's, Kiba will attack the one that smells human, not the one that doesn't have a smell.

As for getting the bugs off of him once they're on already, yeah I can see how it would be difficult, but we're not talking shaking them off like a dog. When using Tsuuga, Kiba spins so fast that he can shred through trees. I doubt chakra bugs can hold on when spinning at that speed. Even though they're attracted to chakra, they don't connect to your chakra, they connect to your body and eat your chakra that way. They bite you just like your average insect.

And the speed advantage I spoke of seems viable to me. Garouga spins so fast that just touching the wind around it can lacerate you. As for pure running speed, four legs are better than two. Either he rides on Akamaru or uses him to double team Shino, keeping him pre-occupied with dodging his blows rather than letting him have time to strategize. Now if Shino is as smart as we assume, he'll figure out a way to counter these disadvantages...but as for now, he loses.
