This episode lacked in the action department, but made up for it in the development of the plot. As we learn more about LeLouch and his past, the story starts to make a bit more sense, and is a lot more enjoyable. I've started to like each episode better than the last.
About the episode itself, it was interesting to learn that Kallen had Britannian blood in her, and was part Japanese. It confused me though that people didn't recognize that Kallen was half Japanese, or it might just be that it didn't bother them too much. I also liked learning more about Lelouch's Geass and its limits. The way he confused Kallen through that phone call was simply brilliant, and I look forward to seeing what else he has to provide during this series.
