If a source link is given, I guess that would cut out most rumor info (like that Mirai Nikki anime that was supposed to be starting in April).

Yeah, a short synopsis would be good, I strongly encourage anyone to include a bit of info on the series.

I agree that the link is necessary to filter out unnecessary spam. I won't mind where it is from, at long as it's credible (which is kind of subjective) but at least show the news didn't come out of thin air.

Since Slayer Revolution being broadcasted next season is already not much of a secret, I won't elaborate on it. Xelloss is apparently the new main character.

Can we get some personal inputs with the new announcements please. For example, Nodame Cantabile is a great series. Expect the 2nd season in Paris to be just as good if not better. Definitely look forward to it.

Blade of Immortal as brought up is one worth taking note of since it adapts from a well-known seinen manga. The art work is very realistic and expressive. The manga also won an Excellence prize.

This has potential to be as epic as Galactic Heroes. Dr Tanaka is famous for his science fictions and his portrayal of humanity is as close as reality as you can find it. This might be something that will be appreciated by mature, sci-fi lovers and the overall enjoyment value will probably hinge on its animation which was lacking in the Galactic Heroes series.

Ah. I'm happy to see this news.

I really liked the art in the A Tale of Memories, especially the silhouette/reverse-silhouette style used in many places. There was only one scene where I distinctly remember seeing typical Shaft flavor art, the rest was completely different and beautiful in it's use of lighting and bright colors. I think this comes from the source material (from the show being based on a visual novel series).

Rumour of FMA2 being in production. It's said that it was leaked from BONES staff but no other info were given. The rumour also says Darker than Black 2 is also in one of BONES's plans.

New InuYasha Anime Short

A new 30-minute Inuyasha anime short, "Black Tessaiga" ("Kuroi Tessaiga"), will premiere during the Rumiko Takahashi Exhibit of original drawings from the famed manga creator (Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura) on July 30. Takahashi ended her Inuyasha time-traveling fantasy manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine last month, and the television anime adaptation ended in September of 2004. Yomiuri TV's anime producer Michihiko Suwa (Inuyasha, Detective Conan, Kekkaishi, Black Jack, City Hunter, Angel Heart) made the announcement in his "Swatch's Anime Diary" ("Suwacchi no Anime Nikki") blog on July 9.
