The 2nd ED of Code Geass R2 has been announced to be:

Single will be out July 30th

Still no news regarding Shiawase Neiro though.

Q: What about the 2nd opening for Code Geass R2?

A: It has been officially announced (http://www.flow.mu/07/news/detail.php) to be "World End" by FLOW, the same group that did the first ending to the first season of CG. The single will be out August 13th. No info on what episode the new opening will debut on.

Edit - July 15th: It was episode 13 that both the new opening and ending premiered on.

A: No, from a recent interview with the lead writer Ichirou Okouchi, R2 will be the final season.

I've finished the script for Code Geass! Finished!
It's not "to be continued", nor "end of this season". It's over, finished, the end.
Starting from the planning of this anime, it's been 5 full years. Although I've been having planty of jobs, this has been the longest one for me.
My computer fell silent when I was writing the last episode. I had to try to recover it while making the final check on the last episode. It's quite a handfull.
But the work in studio isn't done yet. And my job isn't completely finished either.
Laughter or tears, the ending is only 4 months away. As for the production staff, who will see the ending in a few weeks, I wish for them to join me in the joy of seeing the end of Code Geass soon.

Q. I'm watching Code Geass in English right now and everyone's making a fuss about R2 here on ClubBleach. When will Code Geass R2 show in English?

A. As soon as the first season ends. :) Bandai Entertainment announced at Otakon '08 that the English adaptation of Code Geass R2 will begin airing on Adult Swim the week after the first season finishes airing.

Hey I just started watching cg and i have a qustion i downloaded ep 1-25 but not sure if its r2 or w/e help me out.

Beginning-c.c is standing by a cliff hereng nothing but insects and is watching the two children help eachother climb up a hill.

That would be the 1st season. Normally the opening song should have the title of the anime.

R2 is only on episode 20 right now, so it wouldn't be possible to download 1-25.
