And besides, when it's watching bloody babies come out of a banshee vs. leading a massive raid on the Black Temple instance with a group of 70 friends, I would pick the latter (and I dont even like WoW). :p

Why would you want to hang around a lowly level 1(teh baby) when you could be playing one of your own 70s? The level 1 is a noob. He can associate with his father after leveling up and at least getting out of the starting areas.

That n in most games, if theres a low level running aground with a really high level then they tend not to get much exp and it takes them forever to level... so its better just to chuck them out into the wilderness anyway...

On a more serious note, as someone who used to play too much WoW even I was never this bad o__O This woman should have given him a kick in the butt sooner, but he also has a responsibility that he should have been taking care of without being told... pretty obviously not ready for parenthood if he can't even break away from the game to take care of things that actually matter in life.

Hey, he made it back in time for the birth. This makes him a winner!
Not only did he see his child being born, but he was able to ditch the whole "wife in labour" stage (no man wants to stand around with their wives screaming at them while not being able to even do anything about it), and was able to level grind or raid with his e-buddies. Good for him!

I think he's acting really childish. He is neglecting his responsibility as a father and should have at least been there for his fiancee's labor. Sure, there are minor things that can be missed for a game, but the labor and birth of a child is not something. And he needs to be there for the child and not constantly ignore it. This is why I despise games like this.

Then again, she should just take the responsibility of kicking him out and finding a better man. :\

i love WOW it's a reali cool game and i personally would choose the game over the cryin kid 2, but leaving his wife in labor is a bit ott.
