Share your Ghost Stories/Experiences

Well in my Social Studies class, were either learning, or our teacher is telling us stories. So he knows a lot, but hes running out. So i was wondering if you guys knew any good ones, or had some experiences. Heres my favorite one he told us. Also know this is in hawaii, so culture has a lot to do with it too.

My teachers friend's a cop. He took an older cops job and his job is to go up the Pali lookout (now know, this is one of the most haunted places in Hawaii, because there was a huge war on this cliff, and many many people were pushed off and fell to their deaths), and close the gates. So he would usually say a small prayer, because supposedly there were spirits who hid in trees, and fooled around with you.

But this night, he forgot. Now coming back down the old Pali road, he hit a hairpin curve that overlooked a waterfall and a pool (known as Jackass Gingers, idk why). As he rounded the curve, he saw a white figure, floating at the top of the waterfall, pointing down into the pool. Now, him being a cop, he went out and walked over to see what exactly "it" was pointing too.

As he looked down, there was a boy face down into the water. So acting on instinct, he grabbed the boy and pulled him out of the water. The boy suddenly openned his eyes. They were blood red, and he turned and smiled. Then he disappeared. Shocked, he ran out, and called for backup. The white figure was still floating, and pointing down. As he peeked over once again, this time the boy was floating face up, smiling with blood red eyes.

As backup came around the corner, the figure and the boy dissappeared. From that day one, as he rounded the corner, he always would turn off his headlights.

damn that would be freaky. only ghost i've ever seen was my grandpa's i think but it was weird he was dressed like a monk or some one with a overcoat on and a hood and would always walk down this hallway that led to a spare bedroom, my grandma's bedroom, and another spare bedroom but we moved away from the house about a year ago and now my mom's friend lives there and says she's seen the the ghost to

Well i have been seen, hearing and feeling ghost/spirits since i´m 15.But they don´t scary me,the only thing they want it to be helped.But sometimes they are so annoying that i just say"go away".I should listen to them.
The last time i saw a ghost was 4 months ago.I saw the ghost of the woman who lived here years ago.I know that she died in the hospital but her precence is still here.Poor woman.

I went to the washroom to take a dump and I looked at my door. It was made of wood, and there was a design on it. Looked like a Clown staring at me. Sure enough...it smiled at me. I was outta there, shitting or not....

Nasty, i know, but come on. A Clown?

I can't barely call this a ghost experience but,

there was that one time where at the same night, my iPod and my cellphone jumped.

I didn't see it or anything, since I had my back facing toward them. But I heard a noise that sounded like a fall... And believe me, I know what sound my gizmoz make when they fall.

(But they weren't broken though. So I'm guessing it's just me.)

let see when i was like i think 2 or 3 yr ago..
me and my friend go to a pond near our resident area..
we throw some rock inside it and suddenly my friend quickly run away and as for me i juz follow X3
he say there got somethin rise up from the pond and i explain maybe some lizard? XD yea we got lizard that is 4 feet long and sometime walk along the street(dunno its english name thou etto monitor lizard? Xd) X3 lol yea, we are running and talking
after we run out from the pond area(it near a forest entrance).. X3 we go back to the same place but near the entrance we meet with a old grandma
well her face damn weird honestly...her mouth is like been sew and her eyes rly small plus she rly ugly...her dressing also very weird...look like orang asli dressing and what is orang asli? etto dunno how to explain so click on this link maybe it help out X3

and the weirdest thing is,we sure we never saw her before in our resident area..
she ask us what are we doin at there..i explain(1 of my friend run back to his house damn coward,while another one doesnt dare to speak so i do most of the talking) what happen juz now and i thought i wanna check what is that thing my friend saw juz now
then she reply that its probably is her since she say she catch fish at the pond..
we knew something is fishy so we back away and apologize for throwing rock at the pond...but as we walk away me and my friend turn back and look but the old lady was gone...my friend told me that she maybe is a orang bunian(well translate to english is goblin 0_o but in the wikipedia...it different story here the link hope that help) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orang_Bunian
after that we never saw her again.. X3 btw the place with the pond is surrounded by jungle well not rly a jungle since after a hill is our main city X3 i dont think its counted as a jungle deshou? X3

So far Ive been caught in Kanashibari 2 times

once on the big island and the other in my house

I live in hawaii so were swarmed with ghosts

it pretty much sucks that you cant talk or move or scream...the only way I get out of it is if someone helps me or I wait for the ghost to pass

^well...yea they spellbind you...they did tht to me when i was like...14 and tht rly give me a trauma for not sleeping in dark...but you will get use to it

Let's see...I've had several experiances in the past. The majority of my stories take place in one of the places that I lived at. This place was said to have been built over an indian burial ground. Anyways...

Once when I was about 7ish I was heading back to my room to go to sleep for the night. I stopped at the hallway when I saw what looked like a man wearing a poncho. He looked like he was laughing at me. I immediantly walked back to the living room and stayed in there for the rest of the night. My younger brother has also claimed to have seen this man on a few occasions as well. I also swear that I had a few nightmares with him in them where he was chasing me. One of them happened on the night right before we moved...

My next two stories take place in the wooded area near the trailer court we lived at. [This is the same place as the above story] One time when I was just randomly running though the woods I began saying random things out loud. I usually tend to do this when I'm alone and I made a habit of walking thorough these woods at least once a day or so. All of a sudden I hear someone ask "Who?". The voice sounded like a small child about my age at the time and they sounded like they were right next to me. I looked around but nobody was there. I immediantly ran out of the woods and stopped going by myself.

Another story with the same woods took place in 1996 or 1997. [I was about 11 or 12 at this time] My friends and I walked through the woods and went as far as we could. At the end was a concrete tunnel where sewage was dumped. Once we got to the tunnel we saw something...odd at the end of the tunnel. It was dark so we couldn't see everything but we did notice some weird things about this creature. It had a deer's head, antlers, claws, fangs, and glowing red eyes that you could see shining through the tunnel. We all got freaked out and ran home. We did occasionally come back to this spot again but...that creature was never there again...

My last story happened pretty recently. A few months back, my friends and I had to leave our apartment due to the flooding that was going on. We stayed at one of my roomate's parent's place since they had a huge house. My roomate told us that this place was haunted and that she always had trouble sleeping here. One night while I was trying to sleep I heard what sounded like a guitar string being pulled. I was weirded out but decided it was best to ignore it. The next morning I noticed that there was indeed a guitar there but it was locked in its case. Nobody had messed with it since I went to bed...

*Cue spooky music*

Those are all the ones that I can think of right now.

One time, I had to go into our attic to get a tent. I climbed up the ladder, but for some reason the light wouldnt turn on, so I had to find my way around in pitch black.

After one minute of searching, I quite honestly heard the word "Help" whispered into my ear! I felt something on my shoulder and when I turned around (I was pretty scared by now) there was nothing there.

Weird eh?

when i was a kid.. the nanny was bathing me when she saw me staring blankly at the door.. she turned around but didnt see anything.. suddenly i asked her who was the girl in black standing by the door.. she looked to see a couple of times but she cant see a thing. i kept asking her who the girl was until finally the nanny just screamed really loud and she dashed her way out of the bathroom carrying me..

i really cant remember this happening though. but they all say it did..

my ghost experiences are the oddest. i wouldnt consider it a ghost, but it still scared the crap outta me.

1. When i was watching tv at home, i heard someone with a deep voice, sounding like a clown, just scream, "Hello!" ghosts i say.

2. When i was doodling in class, a kid came back from an errand. the teacher didnt to bother unlocking it to the outside. so, when he slammed the door shut, it was tightly sealed. as i continued to pretend to work, the door flung open, but then stopped, and slammed itself shut. from that day, i named the ghost "Larry" cuz i like the name larry.

3. this might not be a ghost story, but i say that something has been tripping me for the past 5 years! ive been tripping over air, so i say something abnormal is at work.

When I was a little girl I mean boy I had my ankles chopped off by a lawn mower. And then, I had to dig up someones grave and take someone elses ankles and other limbs to stitch myself together... :P
