Kubo's favourite

I don't know, how you guys, but I feel, that in last few chapters Kubo Tite somehow made Ikkaku his favourite. I urestand, that the plot maybe needed it, but...
But there's something another: what if Bleach autor will change his main character??!!?!?!?!? (don't care about I wrote above it) There was a book "Druga brama" (in english "the second gate" I think), whre the autor in the middle of story slowly changed the main character to end with completly diffrent story (at least as for me).
So, who would you think, that this "next main character" would be and why yes or not?

If he was going to change characters; I think the main choice would be Rukia. I wouldnt be surprised if like Aizen or a support character took over, thatd be cool and interesting.

But I dont think KT would do that... he may shift focus, but out right change characters I dont think he will.

edit: i also agree about the rukia thing if he was to change it, it would be rukia most likely because she has been the reason of the journey for some time now and it wouldnt be much of a change

Rukia is too boring. The obvious choice is Kenpachi and turn this from Bleach into "Division 11 goes around and cuts, and cuts, and cuts until there is nothing left to cut."

I like the idea of an 11th-division story... lots of interesting characters there. Renji has the potential to be the main character. I'd like to see some flashback shit. I don't know if Kubo realizes it, but he's got a really interesting world in his hands.

-___-'' he won't change it. ikkaku is not his favourite, it's just how the story progresses, he was just telling stories of different characters. it's more interesting to talk about other characters' once in awhile other than just always concentrating on a single character. in the soul society arc kubo talked about renji's past too, that does not make him 'going to be' the main character. sheesh.

I don't think he is showing too much emphasis on Ikkaku. All it showed was just his fight and a flashback. Maybe it feels like he is because chapters only come out once a week.

I dont think its switching main characters, he just went with that fight for a few weeks to get it over with. Im sure we wont see Ichigo and Rukia for a little while, the next few chapters will probably focus on Renji or Hitsugaya and Matsumoto, but that doesnt mean hes switching them to the main character spot light.

I don't think Kubo will change the protaganist, unless he makes a spin-off of bleach. THis may sound stupid but Ichigo has the ideal main character look. He's good looking, people can somewhat relate to him and his powers are different from everyone else's. Since Bleach is a mainstream anime, I don't the main character can be too bizzare like Zaraki. If a spinoff were to happen, probably Renji or Rukia or get the main role.

my sentiments exactly. the next chapter will probably focus on hitsugaya or renji. my take is hitsugaya. like Islaya said we probably won't be seeing ichigo or rukia for awhile. i think we'll get back to their side of the story after every fight has been done with. the main character always get talked about LAST. i'm sure kubo is doing things correctly.

I Doubt Kubo Tite Will Change His Main Character, I Mean Whats The Chances Of Getting A Boy Out Of Nowhere Suddenly Getting Powers From A Girl He Doesn't Even Know. Kubo Is Just Trying To Spice Up The Story By Focusing On Different Characters For A While I Think Character That Needs To Be Really Focus On Is Matsumoto And Her Past Cause This Will Give Us The Better Understanding On Her And Her Relation With Ichimaru.
