Closed eyes & open throats

[Do'Urden]

This is no ghost,
It is alive,
There is fear,
Pain,
Sweat,
Tears,
Blood,
All for this.
The stone under foot,
A solid foundation,
It's crumbling,
We'll fall,
There's no one,
To catch us,
Save us,
Resuce us,
It's up to us,
That's the problem,
No one cares,
That's too much to ask,
We shake hands,
Concealing daggers,
Aimed at spinal cords,
In dark alley ways,
So frustrating,
Opening throats,
That sang praises,
Only seconds ago,
There is no loyalty,
Treachery,
Strife,
Meaningless.
All so meaningless.
