yah, i'd be too self conscious to cosplay, (my sister's gonna laugh like crazy, & she'll never let me walk out the house like that) but it's interesting to watch. hm, but it does look fun to cosplay, like back to childhood memories of playing dressing up.

Perhaps guys in anime are just too pretty and there aren't too many pretty guys in the real world to play them.

The hairstyle of Kira is really cool in the cosplay. The captain cloak makes Gin look really, really short. And what's with his expression? Where're those evil eyes and smile?

Not a big fan of cosplay but I think this Kira's the best cosplay I've ever seen. The sailor moon man is simply disgusting and revolting.

What if you are a girl? I like the idea of Cosplay, but I belive that's just suppressed childhood urges. My only thing is, for it to look, good, you really need to have a physical resemblance to the person you are going as. I also love going op-shopping to look for costume bits.

I guess the thing about girls going as guys is lots of the guys have got really fine features, which real guys tend not to have.

I won't really comment on the robes, because if you were to go try to find Bleach robes, most of them all look like plastic. Gin's expression there is alright for me, but not the hair... back part have to look like a arrow pointing downwards, that is Gin's real hairstyle, this one is the opposite. Kira's hair is done quite nicely

Anime chars are model of beauty and perfection, it would be extremely hard to find real life people that have that perfect complexion and skin.

usually you don't see many guys remotely close to anime guys, because we males usually have rough skin and complexion. Add that many guys in their early teens and 20s are bursting with acne problems, it would be very rare to find someone who looks like real life Gin, Ichigo, or Bakuyaku. Of course the avg anime guy fans are not usually the most handsome bunch.

I am not a cosplay fan at all, but a few people can actually pull it off. and more power to them. I saw one Trigun Vash cosplayer before which was incredible. thats about it.

zzz cosplay for perfects are japan / american handsomes/ pretties. i dun think these ppl really suit the anime's character. we need someone who actually look like the animes.
if we had of coz. tat'll i give 8.5/10 without weird looking mofos. ^_^

well i think cosplay is awsem....friends say im nerdy for doin stuff like dress up as link and come into school...but for people like that the time they take... to sow the costumes and buy the swords and stuff...and the hair..i have to give them credit for that......and unless you have like faceial surgery...i dont think most people will be able to rezemble there fav anime chr
